TBBT in the future, sequel to 20 years later, part 9

Early in the New Year Leonard and Penny threw a house warming party at their new home. This turned into a celebration party for Amy, who had just been promoted to Assistant Dean in the Science Faculty, she was responsible for biomedical sciences. Howard, Bernadette and their children came to the party as did Raj and Amanda (who stayed with Amy and Sheldon). Lots of friends and colleagues came from Caltech, including newly appointed Professor Luke Cornwall and his wife Theresa.
A few weeks later Amy's new electron microscope building was finished. One of Amy's first acts as Assistant Dean was to organise the official opening by the President of Caltech. Amy and Leonard both gave speeches and Sheldon was an interested onlooker. Amy led the tour of the new building, talking about the science that was going to be done. There was a minor earth tremor but nobody felt it inside the building.

After Amy's promotion she was now so busy that she couldn't always join Sheldon for lunch. Occasionally Leonard would have lunch with Sheldon in Amy's absence. It was over a month after Amy's grand opening before all three were together at Caltech.
"Hello Amy and Sheldon, good to see us all together at Caltech again. How are things with the electron microscope building ?"
"They are having a lot of trouble getting the microscopes that were moved from the old building optimised, they are such delicate instruments they don't like to be moved. However, when this short term problem is resolved we should be able to do even better Science. I have used electron microscopes in the past, they have promised me a couple of hours with the microscopes when everything is ready."
Sheldon said "good for you Amy, finding time to do some Science."
Leonard then said "wish I could find time to do that :-("
