Oreburgh City…
One weekend has passed since the invasion of Ferro Fett. Nothing much has happened since the first week of the Floral Festival. Everyone was able to find housing thanks to Roark, but they would have to work at the Oreburgh Fossil Museum as part of the rent charges. Moving in was probably the toughest for everyone and getting adjusted to living in Oreburgh. The smell of the mining kind of made everyone sick for a day. But, for one ranger, he was already used to it.
It was around 7:00am as the sun was shining in the east. Atticus was walking, wearing a blue t-shirt and white shorts with a black gym bag as he was heading to a black and orange house that had weights on the top of the house. It was the Oreburgh Fitness Center. It was leg day for him, so it was the perfect morning to get his Pokémon trained and himself shredded. Within a half hour, he was already doing burpees and side sit throughs. As he did a few rounds of those, he reached for two 25 pound dumbbells, doing split lunges. After doing two sets, he turned around to see the Pokémon area. The Oreburgh Fitness Center also had a place to train Pokémon to its fullest potential. Seeing his Torracat punching the black punching bag with Grovyle holding it made him grin, knowing some of his Pokémon believed in fitness. With him traveling, Atticus believed in a strong mind and a strong body. That's how he was able to balance Pokémon battles over time.
Finishing his first round of his workout, he sat down at a bench. Taking a white towel to his face, he reached for his Pokétch, seeing that there was a green text message.
"Hey bro, are you coming to Week 2 of the Floral Festival?"
As Atticus was texting her, he heard a familiar voice. Atticus looked up as he noticed Leona, who was walking with her black and red backpack. She was wearing a red t-shirt and black sweatpants. Her hair was tied up as she was ready to workout.
"Well, someone started early before their shift at the museum," said Leona.
"I've always been a morning person," said Atticus, sipping his own bottle of water, "Especially today."
"What's going on?" asked Leona.
Atticus took a deep breather, "Well, after a few hours at the museum, I forgot that Briana invited me to the Floral Festival."
"Wait… Briana?"
"My younger sister," said Atticus.
"Oh…," said Leona.
Atticus nodded, "Yeah. It's not every day I get to see my younger sister."
Before Leona could say anything, they heard a samba song coming from Leona's backpack. Leona turned around as she opened it. As she did, Atticus looked at her as she picked up a red and silver smartwatch that had a yellow lightning bolt.
"What is this?" asked Atticus.
"Oh," said Leona, "Drake said that someone he knew was able to make these. These are our Dino Coms."
Atticus nodded as he looked, "I'm guessing mine is at the base?"
"Yeah, you left before you picked it up," said Leona, reaching into her bag. She picked up a blue and silver smartwatch to give to Atticus. Leona turned around as she pressed a button, "What's up?"
"About time," said Drake over the intercom, "Looks like the Floral Festival is under attack. Lisa is by herself and I can't get a hold of Grayson or Joe."
"We're on it," said Atticus, turning to Torracat and Grovyle. Torracat and Grovyle looked at Atticus as they were dashing over. Atticus reached for their Poké Balls, returning both of them. Shrinking the Poké Balls, he managed to place them on his Pokémon Belt. Leona and Atticus walked outside as they managed to drop their bags in Leona's jeep, which was parked outside. The two of them nodded as their Energy Crystals began to shine. Leona and Atticus reached for their Fossil Chargers.
"Fossil Chargers, Energize!"
A red and blue aura surrounded them as they pressed the button on the battery. Doing the dance motion, the rangers took out their Fossil Blasters, inserting the Fossil Chargers.
Tyrantrum, Energize!
Carracosta, Energize!
"Unleash the Power!"
A Carracosta and Tyrantrum was released from their blasters as they transformed into their ranger suits.
Chapter 3: Inner Strength
In Jubilife City, Lisa was kicking around, fighting the Mooks. Already morphed, Lisa turned around as she shot more of the Mooks with her Fossil Blaster. As a few of them landed on the ground, the pink ranger was able to climb up and jump on a few of them. She turned around as destroyed more of them. Taking a breather, she turned around as she heard laughter. She looked around to see a Garbardor creature with Excadrill arms. Its eyes were bright red as it had a trash can on top.
"Commander Scrapper here… looks like its time to I destroy some Floral Festival… and grab your Energy Crystal as a prize," he said.
"How about I send you to the scrap heap?" asked Lisa.
Scrapper grinned as he looked at her, "So tough, yet so naïve!"
Snapping his fingers, Lisa jumped as Mooks bolted from all over the alleyways. Before Lisa could do anything, Leona and Atticus jumped up to shoot more of them. As they landed on the ground, Leona and Atticus turned around as they stood back-to-back, stretching their arms. A red, blue and pink aura arrived as they received their Fossil Sabers. They were all the same designs as Grayson's saber.
"Sorry," said Atticus, "We got caught talking."
"I'm glad you're here," said Lisa, "Where is Grayson and Joe?"
"Don't know," said Leona.
As more were coming toward them, Leona turned around as she went to slash a few Mooks down. She kicked a few of them as she slashed more that were coming toward her. Jumping up, she took out her Fossil Charger. Pressing the button, she placed it in the saber. A red aura surrounded it as she spun around.
"Jaw Slash!"
A Tyrantrum claw emerged from the saber as the group of them landed on the ground.
Atticus turned around as he blocked his weapon from a few Mooks. Turning around, he ducked a few as he turned around to strike. He took out his Fossil Charger, pressing the button to put in the saber. A blue aura surrounded it as he turned around.
"Cover Slash!"
A Carracosta shell emerged out of his saber as the Mooks were all struck like a boomerang. Grinning, Atticus watched as they all fell to the ground.
Lisa turned around as she went to strike the rest of the Mooks down. Kicking back and forth, she then turned around as she pressed her Fossil Charger. A pink aura surrounded it as she placed it in the saber. The Fossil Saber began to illuminate in pink light.
"Armor Slash!"
A Bastidon jumped out, slashing the Mooks as she turned around. However, as she did, she felt someone release an electric pulse. Landing on the ground, the other rangers arrived to see a new, interesting villain. He walked toward them as he grinned, aiming his sparkling magnet toward her. Blue and yellow bolts surrounded it as he walked toward them. His Lantern eyes were looking at them.
"I see you must be Ferro Fett's other henchman," said Atticus, looking at him.
"Indeed I am," he said, "Lieutenant Commander Turnchou. Now, I am here to make sure Scrapper follows through. The Floral Festival will be nothing but a scrap heap. And it was just to lure you out to get your crystals!"
"You are going to have to do better than that," said Leona.
"Fine!" he said, snapping his finger, "Scrapper!"
The rangers turned around as Scrapper was heading toward them. Laughing, he went to sharpen his claws, ready to drill. The three rangers stood together to strike, only for blasters to shoot him down. The rangers turned around to see Grayson and Joe dashing toward the scene.
"Sorry," said Grayson, "I overslept."
"Same," said Joe, looking at Grayson, "But, it looks like we have another menace."
"I am NOT a menace," said Turnchou.
"Shut it," said Joe, "Gray, let's try our new weaponry."
"New weaponry?" asked Leona.
Joe and Grayson closed their blasters as they spun the spinner on the Fossil Blasters. Placing the blaster on their right arm, they slid it down. Black and green aura surrounded their right arm as a metal arm appeared with a specific weapon. A grey and black claw was attached, shaped like an Armaldo. Grayson had a green and silver scythe, like the blades of Kabutops.
"Armaldo Claw!"
"Kabutop Slasher!"
Before Turnchou could attack, Joe jumped up as he gripped his weapon, slashing Turnchou across. Turning around, Grayson not also slashed Turnchou, but Scrapper. Scrapper stumbled as Leona turned around to see what she could do. Leona turned around as Scrapper went to strike. Leona dodged the attack as she took out her Fossil Blaster. Spinning the blaster, she dragged her blaster along her right shoulder. A red aura surrounded her right shoulder as a metal arm appeared. Leona held the head of a Tyrantrum with fangs on it.
"Tyrantrum Fang!"
As she struck him down, Scrapper hung on as he went to strike. Turning around to strike again, the earth began shaking. The rangers turned around as they saw Giant Mooks hovering over. The Giant Mooks were throwing and stabbing debris across with their weapons. As explosions appeared, the rangers were trying to hang on. Lisa dodged the debris as she turned around to use her charger.
"Bastiodon, I choose you!"
Pressing the Fossil Charger, a pink aura surrounded it the charger energized. A pink energy beam appeared from the sky as a robotic Bastiodon arrived. Landing on the ground, Bastiodon roared as it went to strike the Giant Mook. As that was going on, the second Giant Mook was giving the zord a hard time. Striking it down, the Bastiodon fell on the ground. Atticus turned around as he looked at her, "I got you Lisa… Carracosta, I choose you!"
Pressing the button on the Fossil Charger, he threw the charger in the air. A blue aura surrounded it as a robotic Carracosta landed on the ground. Slamming on the ground, Carracosta charged through facing the Giant Mooks. Carracosta released a Water Pulse, knocking the Giant Mooks down.
"You got this!" shouted Atticus, looking down. He looked to see a familiar face. She had long black hair and dark skinned. She had green and pink flowers on her shirt with purple pants. Immediately, Atticus knew who it was. She turned around as she saw Scrapper walking toward her.
"I guess we can handle you!" he said.
She screamed as Scrapper was heading toward her. Ready to strike, his drill claw stretched out, ready to strike. Before she could do anything, she heard a loud yell in front. She looked up as she saw Atticus getting struck. Scrapper laughed as Atticus landed on the ground. Running away, Atticus turned around to notice. Scrapper kicked him in the stomach as Atticus cringed. Getting up from the ground, he went over to strike him. Laughing, Scrapper turned to Turnchou as he snapped his fingers. In flashes of green light, the Giant Mooks disappeared. A blue aura surrounded them as he disappeared.
"Well," said Leona, looking to see all the damage done, "They did a pretty good job."
"They demolished the whole place," said Grayson, looking at Atticus. He stared at him as Atticus looked away from them. A blue aura surrounded him as his suit disappeared, Atticus landed on the ground in agony. The other rangers hustled over toward him as Atticus looked up.
"Briana… "he said, struggling in pain, "Briana!"
Twenty minutes later…
Atticus was laying down on one of the tables. Bandages were wrapped around his right shoulder as he looked around. His shirt was hanging on the table. He must've been knocked out or something, according to what he was thinking. Last thing he remembered, he got knocked down by Scrapper. He looked around as he turned around, seeing Lisa trying to finish. Atticus tried to get up, but Lisa put her hand out.
"Easy… this is hard stuff," said Lisa, looking at Atticus.
"Ugh… that jerk is going to pay…," said Atticus, getting up, looking at his shoulder, "I guess Scrapper did more than just knock me down."
"It was a bruise for sure," said Lisa, "A cut that was a little tricky to deal with in the bruising. You should be fine in a few hours."
Atticus nodded as he sat up, "Glad we have a nurse in-training on our team."
Looking over, he was distracted by the argument being held in the room.
"So," said Grayson, looking at Joe, "Looks like they wanted to ruin a good festival. We should've attacked them when we had the chance."
"That's something I would say… but we have to work together to figure it out," said Joe, looking at him.
"We don't have time to plan! This is the result," said Grayson, pointing to Atticus. Joe rolled his eyes as he looked at him, "You don't get it. It isn't an all out attack all the time!"
"How would you know that?" the green ranger asked.
"Uh… did you forget I was there helping out the Hoenn Rangers when Team Aqua tried to turn the Hoenn Region into the greatest flood in history?" asked Joe, "Oh wait, it's none of your concern, rookie."
Grayson walked over to his face and grabbed the collar of his shirt, "Listen, you…"
"THAT IS ENOUGH!"
Grayson and Joe turned around sharply. Lisa stepped forward as she walked closer toward them, "Your actions and words are not going to solve the issue right now! Right now, we just need to figure out how to get rid of that creature."
"Well," said Joe, looking at Atticus, "We did have a good idea… but why did you get distracted over a girl?"
"A girl?" asked Grayson, "That's why you got knocked out. Pathetic."
Atticus grumbled as he stepped forward toward them. Lifting off the table, he clenched his fist and threw a punch at Grayson in the face. Grayson landed on the ground. Grayson picked himself up as he went to attack him, only for Leona to grab him by the arms. Drake, who just stopped by, held Atticus carefully as the two were trying to go at it.
"That's not a girl I'm interested in," said Atticus, "That's Briana, my younger sister. She was in that crossfire and I was trying to protect her. But, you wouldn't know a thing about protecting family, do you?"
Drake nodded as he turned around to look at him. As Atticus calmed down, he walked toward the table as he grabbed his shirt that was on the table. Placing his shirt on, he stretched out his hand toward the Energy Crystals. The Blue Energy Crystal was collected as he took his Fossil Chargers. Walking toward the exit, he placed the blaster downward. Pulling the trigger, a blue blast of energy shot down as he materialized. Grayson, angry, looked at them as the rangers turned to him.
"I didn't know he had a sister," said Grayson.
"No one knew," said Leona, walking over to the crystal chamber. Stretching out her hand, a red crystal appeared as she collected her chargers, "I guess I'll go fix things seeing you won't do it."
"Hold on, you can't just-," Grayson started to say, but Leona interrupted.
"For someone that has been rogue for most of his life, you need to understand people better. You will learn… Pokémon are not just warriors for justice and people are more than just people. But, that is something you will have to learn on your own," said Leona, heading to the exit.
Grayson said nothing as he sat down on the chair, cooling down. Joe turned to Lisa as she shook her head. Lisa turned around as she wrapped her bandages. Joe walked over as he turned to her, "I didn't know that was -."
"Don't worry about it," said Lisa, looking at Joe, "You said the reason why the Hoenn team you know got along so well is because they worked together. Well, if we plan on beating Scrapper, we need to pull ourselves together."
Joe turned around as he looked at Grayson and then at Lisa, "He's never worked on a team before."
Lisa turned to Grayson and then at Joe, "Well, he's going to have learn the hard way… and learn how to be sensitive to other people. Can you help me pack the rest of this?"
Meanwhile…
Briana was sitting down on the bench as she was looking at the firetrucks fixing what was going on in Jubilife City. She was relieved to see that the whole city didn't burn down, but she was more than upset about the Floral Festival. Looking up, she turned around as she felt someone's hands cover her eyes. She sighed as Atticus appeared behind her, "Hey, bro!"
"Hey, sis," said Atticus, sitting on the bench, "I guess I was late. I heard Jubilife City was closed."
Briana nodded as she sat down, "Yeah, this monster showed up and started burning things down. Luckily, there was help."
"Help?" asked Atticus.
"Yeah, Sinnoh now has its own group of Poké Rangers, from what it looks like," said Briana, looking across the street. She noticed a flower that was still glowing from the wreckage. Atticus nodded as he turned around, "Really?"
"Yeah," said Briana, looking at the flower, "The blue ranger saved my life from this scrappy like creature. Reminded me of you…"
Atticus raised an eyebrow, "Really?"
"Yeah," said Briana, getting up, "I'm glad I was safe. Sadly, though. The Floral Festival is pretty much ruined. So, I'm sorry you came for nothing."
"No," said Atticus, getting up, "I'm glad I came to visit you. Family is everything to me."
Briana grinned as she hugged Atticus. Atticus winced, trying not to cover up the shoulder injury. Briana released the hug as she looked at him. "Do you want grab a bite to eat before I leave?"
"Yeah," said Atticus, "Why don't you meet me in Oreburgh City? It's probably a lot cleaner than here."
"Sure," said Briana, grinning, "I'll see you in a bit. Probably should call mom."
"Yeah… you probably should," said Atticus. Briana nodded as she turned around, walking away. As she waved farewell, Atticus took a deep breath. Turning around, Leona was standing there, watching him. Atticus was taken aback, "How much did you hear?"
"Everything," said Leona, grinning, "I didn't know your family meant that much. I wish I was close with my family as much as you were."
Atticus laughed, "Aren't you adopted?"
"Yeah," said Leona, looking at him, "However, even though my parents love me, I feel somewhat displaced. But, I love them back and family is important me too."
Atticus nodded, "Well… the reason why I worry about my sister is because of what happened a few months ago. Actually, it's how I got this Energy Crystal."
Flashback…
Atticus and Briana were sitting along the coast of Sunyshore City. Atticus just got his last badge from Volkner, the Sunyshore City.
"So, Atticus, are you going to call the other family members up?"
"Yeah, I just need to let them know when it is," he responded, punching her lightly on the shoulder, "I am glad you came to watch my battle."
"It was intense," she said, looking at him.
Atticus looked ahead, feeling a gust of wind as they were on the beach. Looking up, he stood as he saw three trainers. Three of them all wore black biker vests with blue jeans, wearing either a red, blue or green bandana. The one with the red bandana had blue eyes as he was looking at him, "I see you beat Volkner."
"And who are you?"
He laughed as he released his Pokémon. It was an Infernape. He was laughing as he pointed a pistol at him, "Well, surrender your badges or I shoot your sister down."
Briana turned around as she went to go behind Atticus. Atticus looked at her as he turned around, noticing two more guys. They also wore the same combo, but with purple and yellow bandanas. Grabbing Briana, Briana squirmed as he turned around. He immediately reached for his Poké Ball. Releasing it, his Torracat stretched out as he punched Infernape in the face. The two went at it. Immediately, Atticus grabbed the gun from his hand and knocked him off his feet. The two of them went at it in the sand. Scuffling through, both of them went at it. Immediately, Atticus cringed as he jolted. The gang member laughed as he had a knife right into his stomach. Briana stood there, screaming as he landed on the ground. The gang member laughed as he looked at him, "Ha, serves you right."
Torracat stood there, frozen. Tears were coming from his eyes as he sharpened his claws. Beating the gang member up, the member looked up as he had red marks on his face. Infernape went after him as the two of them went at it. Briana stood there, weeping as she was held. Looking over, she noticed that Atticus had something in his hand. It was a Cover Fossil, but it had an energy crystal inside. A blue aura surrounded it as his whole body started rising. The other gang members stood there in surprise as the knife was removed from Atticus's body. Atticus woke up as he landed on the ground. The gang member turned around as he recalled Infernape. The five of them started running away, releasing Briana. Briana turned around as she dashed toward him. Torracat and Briana hugged him.
"I don't know how I managed to revive," said Atticus, looking at the energy crystal.
"Well," said Briana, "The Cover Fossil and crystal saved your life!"
Present Day…
"Since then, we call this our lucky charm," said Atticus, "Briana doesn't know that this is part of the Poké Rangers and I don't plan on telling her… yet."
"Well," said Leona, "It would be kind of hard to explain. I'm glad you told me."
"Why?" asked Atticus.
Leona grinned as she placed her hand on her shoulder, "You have a big heart. That's why I think Carracosta chose you. You would do anything to save other people, even family."
Atticus nodded as he turned to her, "Well, if I was a Poké Ranger then, those gang members would be history."
"Yeah, but what will that do?" Leona asked, looking at him. The blue ranger nodded in agreement. As the two nodded in agreement, they heard an explosion. Leona and Atticus turned around, following the direction of the noise.
Running down the street, Leona and Atticus were heading toward the north side of Jubilife City. Breathing heavily, Atticus and Leona looked up, seeing a pink aura of light surrounding Lisa as she arrived to meet them. Lisa turned to them as Atticus and Leona faced them.
"Hey," said Lisa, "Grayson and Joe were out of Dino Paradise when the alarm went off."
"Probably still arguing," said Atticus.
"Yeah," said Leona, looking at them, "Well, it's just-."
"BROTHER!"
Atticus turned around as he noticed what was going on. Briana was being chased by Scrapper. Atticus grumbled as he looked at Scrapper chasing after her.
"Torracat, Empoleon… go!"
Throwing two Poké Balls, Empoleon and Torracat were thrown out to go help. Torracat grabbed Briana as Empoleon released a Water Pulse attack, slowing Scrapper down. Scrapper looked over as Atticus, Leona and Lisa arrived.
"You mess with my sis, you mess with me, Scrapper," said Atticus.
"I am not in the mood… now surrender your Energy Crystal!" he shouted, "Mooks!"
In a flash of green light, Mooks appeared from all over the place. Leona and Lisa nodded as they flipped forward. Lisa kicked a few of them with a few front kicks. She rolled over one of them as she swept one of them. She turned around as she kicked another one in the stomach. Leona blocked one with her elbow and threw a punch at a Mook's face. The Mook fell down as she used a spinning hook kick.
Briana freaked out as Atticus kicked two of them in front of him. He threw a punch at one of them. As a Mook went to grab, Atticus grabbed the Mook, lifted him up in the air and threw the villain into a pile. Taking a breather, he turned around as he looked at Scrapper, "Fat chance," said Atticus, turning to Torracat and Empoleon, "Get her somewhere safe. I'll catch up with you later."
Both Pokémon nodded and cried out their own name as Briana followed them away from the wreckage. Atticus, Leona and Lisa stood together as they released their Fossil Chargers.
"Fossil Chargers, Energize!"
A red, blue, and pink aura surrounded them as they pressed the button on the battery. Doing the dance motion, the rangers took out their Fossil Blasters, inserting the Fossil Chargers.

"Unleash the Power!"
A Bastiodon, Carracosta and Tyrantrum was released from their blasters as they transformed into their ranger suits.
"Tyrantrum! Dino Charge Red!"
"Carracosta! Dino Charge Blue!"
"Bastiodon! Dino Charge Pink!"
"Poké Rangers Dino Charge!"
Scrapper snapped his fingers as he looked at the three of them, "Kill them!"
More of the Mooks started heading toward them. Immediately, Leona and the others withdrew their Fossil Blasters. A red, blue and pink aura surrounded their left hand as they picked up the Fossil Saber. Pressing the button on the handle of the saber, the blade shrunk down and the handle turned 90 degrees into a gun like handle. The blade part popped up as it connected with the Fossil Blaster.
"Fossil Blaster: Full Auto!"
Pulling the trigger, red, blue and pink beams were sprayed all over the Mooks at an alarming rate. Flames exploded as the rangers turned around to Scrapper. Scrapper was hit by the blast of beams from their weapons.
"I hope you enjoyed that," said Atticus, "There's more where that came from!"
"Let's do it," said Leona, "Dino Armor, Engage!"
Spinning the blaster, all three rangers dragged the Fossil Blaster down the right arm as their weapons appeared. Leona had her Tyrantrum Fang ready to strike. Atticus had a different weapon he held in his right hand. It was a blue and black shield, shaped like the back of Carracosta.
"Carracosta Shield!"
Lisa had a pink Bastiodon tail with titanium armor, shaped like a drill. It also had a green scope attached to it.
"Bastiodon Drill!"
Scrapper dashed toward Leona as he went to use his claws. Combining his claws, a golden aura surrounded him as he went toward him. Leona tried to catch the attack, but she was drilled across. Leona landed on the ground as she looked up. Immediately, Lisa jumped up as she kicked Scrapper in the stomach. A silverish-pink aura surrounded her drill as she went to stab him. Scrapper blocked it with his drill like hands. He slashed her in the chest. As Lisa landed on the ground, he went to raise his hand, only for Atticus's Carracosta Shield to cut through. Screaming, Atticus grabbed the shield as he went to strike. Scrapper dug his claws to the ground, causing the earth to crack. Atticus dug his shield, blocking the attack. As explosions surrounded him, Scrapper laughed as he looked up.
"He dead," he said.
"That's what you think!"
Looking up, Atticus emerged out of the ground as he held the Carracosta Shield. He crushed him with the shield and then struck him to the ground. Scrapper yelled as he spun around. Immediately, Atticus took out his Fossil Blaster, "Lisa, Leona!"
Lisa and Leona threw their Fossil Batteries with him. He opened his Fossil Blaster as he placed one charger at a time. As all three chargers were in, Atticus spun the blaster as Scrapper looked up.
"Tri-Fossil Strike!"
Pulling the trigger, a red, blue and pink beam shot out with a Tyrantrum, Carracosta and Bastiodon charging through. Scrapper was hit as he landed on the ground. Atticus turned around as he exploded behind him. Leona and Lisa were happy to see him destroyed.
"Wow," said Lisa, "That was impressive!"
"You mess with my family, you mess with me," said Atticus, "That is my thing."
"Wait!"
Turning around, Joe and Grayson, morphed, turned around as he looked at them. Joe looked at the debris, "You destroyed him already."
"Yeah," said Atticus, "That's what you get for being late."
"Didn't have to be so rude," said Grayson, looking at him.
Atticus ignored him as he went toward Leona, "Well, I'm glad that's all over."
Ferro Fett's Ship…
"What in the world?" asked Ferro Fett, looking at the screen, "I asked Scrapper to do one thing!"
"Well," said Maracturne, looking at the screen, "I guess it's the scrap heap."
"NO!" said Ferro Fett, looking at Maracturne, "Do it."
"But, we haven't tested it!" shouted Maracturne.
"Do it… or I fry you," said Ferro Fett, aiming at Maracturne with his weapon. Maracturne sighed as he turned around, looking at the console. He saw a green button that was flashing at his console. Sighing, he pressed the button. Noises surrounded the ship as a targeting scanner appeared at Scrapper's corpse. Maracturne pressed the red button next to it. Outside, a green beam shot out of Ferro Fett's ship.
Back at Jubilife City…
Lisa stood in shock, seeing the green beam come from the sky, "WHAT'S THAT?"
The rangers turned around as the green beam pierced through Scrapper's body. Scrapper began to glow in a green light as it combined the body together, growing ten times bigger, overseeing the whole city.
"I AM ALIVE?" he asked.
"He's bigger!" shouted Grayson, "How?"
"I think we are trying to figure that out," said Leona.
Joe turned around, "Well, there's only one thing to do… Call Tyrantrum!"
Leona nodded as she turned around, "Well, don't have to steal my thunder! Tyrantrum, I Choose You!"
Throwing the Fossil Charger in the air, a red aura surrounded it as a Tyrantrum materialized. Tyrantrum charged through, fighting it. Leona stood there as the battle intensified. Scrapper laughed as he slashed Tyrantrum down. Tyrantrum yelled as it landed on the street.
"Get up!" shouted Leona.
Atticus turned around as he looked at Lisa, "Let's do it!"
"Yup!"
"Carracosta… I choose you!"
"Bastiodon… I choose you!"
Pressing the Fossil Chargers, a pink and blue aura surrounded it the charger energized. A pink and blue energy beam appeared from the sky as a robotic Bastiodon and Carracosta arrived. Scrapper laughed as he looked at the creatures.
"Why I can defeat three Prehistoric Pokémon without a problem," he said.
Atticus turned around as he felt a brush of wind. Turning to his left, Drake arrived as he looked at Leona, Lisa and Atticus.
"Drake, why are you here?" asked Leona.
"There is one way to beat Scrapper. Combine Bastiodon, Carracosta and Tyrantrum to form the Dino Charge Megazord," said Drake.
"Wait, a combination system?" asked Joe.
"All of your Pokémon have some type of combination system. The Energy Crystals were able to make that happen," said Drake, "Do it!"
Leona turned around as she looked at Tyrantrum. Tyrantrum opened its eyes as it climbed out of the pavement, roaring. Carracosta and Bastiodon nodded as all three roared.
"Tyrantrum!" Leona shouted, followed by Atticus and Lisa.
"Carracosta!"
"Bastiodon!"
"Tri-Fossil Fusion!"
Immediately, Tyrantrum opened its mouth. Blue and pink energy surrounded Bastiodon and Carracosta as Tyrantrum ingested the energy. A red aura surrounded the Tyrantrum as the legs began to rise higher, seeing robotic feet. The Tyrantrum Zord roared as the upper body rotated, leaving the tail to be the left side and the head of the zord on the right. The Carracosta and Bastiodon jumped up. Carracosta shrunk its head, arms, legs into the shell. The tail transformed into the right hand of the Megazord. The Bastiodon raised its tail as it connected to the left side with its legs and arms shrinking, forming the left hand and arm of the Megazord. A human head popped out of the body. It was a silver head with a red helmet that looked like a Tyrantrum helmet. Green eyes glowed as it started jumping.
"Dino Charge Megazord, Battle Ready!"
"Whoa!" said Joe, "This is sick! Our own Megazord!"
"Right now… there's only room for three," said Drake, "Lisa, Atticus, Leona!"
The three nodded as they aimed their blasters to the ground. Teleporting, Leona and the others landed in the cockpit. It was a black cockpit with a yellow ceiling. There were three posts, one was blue, red and then pink. The Fossil Blaster holders were also there in the shape of three triangular posts. As the rangers landed on the ground, Leona placed her blaster in. The others followed suit.
"Let's battle!"
Scrapper spun around with its arms. Immedaitely, the Bastiodon arm punched it. A green aura surrounded the Megazord as the attack went back toward him.
"Flash Cannon!" shouted Lisa.
A blast of white energy pierced Scrapper in the chest. Scrapper turned around as the Carracosta arm stretched out.
"Stone Edge!" shouted Atticus.
Slamming on the ground, rocks struck Scrapper as it was hit. Scrapper was stumbling as he turned to face them.
"Now," said Leona, grabbing her Fossil Blaster, spinning it, "The finisher!"
Tyrantrum head detached from the right shoulder into the center. A red, blue and pink aura surrounded the Megazord as it channeled into the Tyrantrum. Lisa and Atticus took out their Fossil Blasters, charging it. The three rangers aimed their weapons at Scrapper who was charging after them.
"Tri-Fossil Finish!"
Opening its mouth, red, blue and pink crystal beams struck right through Scrapper's body. Scrapper yelled as he landed on his knees, exploding. The Dino Charge Megazord stood, looking at the flames.
Later that night…
The rangers arrived back in Oreburgh City after that battle. Atticus, Lisa and Leona were surprised that they had that much power. Grayson shook his head as he looked at Joe. Joe turned around as he looked at Grayson.
"So," said Grayson, looking at him, "We have a robot now."
"Yeah," said Joe, "We have a robot. What's your problem anyway?"
Grayson turned around, "As impressive as this is, I am not used to working together."
Joe grinned as he looked at him. Grayson turned to him as Joe looked back, "Well, step one is always confessing. You'll get used to it…"
Grayson sighed as he walked toward Atticus. Atticus looked up as Grayson stumbled, "I'm sorry… for…"
"Apology accepted," said Atticus, looking at Grayson, "You didn't know. But, you will need to work on your attitude."
Grayson nodded slowly as he turned to the others, "I'm going to dinner with my sis. I'll see you later."
Leona and Lisa grinned as they waved. Atticus nodded as he was heading toward one of the restaurants. Grayson turned around as he looked at the others. Lisa and Leona looked at him as Grayson grumbled, "Maybe we should get food."
"Food?" asked Lisa, looking at Grayson, "Then again, I didn't eat all day."
Leona turned around as she looked at them, "Well, let's do some exploration!"
The rangers nodded as they started heading over to at least one of the restaurants in Oreburgh City, learning to become more familiar with the surroundings.

Grayson is getting acquainted with learning about the fossils! However, when Grayson meets someone from the Johto Region, conflict happens between Grayson, the team and his former friend. Ferro Fett tries to capture both Grayson and Joe, but Joe and his former friend are caught in the trap. Can Grayson not also save them both but earn back his honor?
Chapter 4: A Swordsman's Honor
A/N: I apologize for the delay. Summer is here and that means I have all the fun in the world to go out and have some of it. At least there have been about 280 hits in this fanfic over a two week time span.
So, as you can see, we have an Atticus storyline that I thought about really well in my head. I wanted to develop his background more. Will those goons in his flashback be there? Who knows. You never know. Also, this Megazord is really cool that I was trying to structure. The weapons were also similar to the Dino Charge weapons, so you will see them again.
