All was bright and beautiful on Route 206, just outside of Cycling Road. The sun was shining high for Leona and Atticus, who were sitting on the bench. They were observing what Lisa, Grayson and Joe were doing. Drake had a surprise for them. Drake walked toward them as he was grinning. He carried a black and silver case, which had something interesting. Opening the case, he looked at them as Joe's face was priceless.
"What in the world?" asked Joe.
"So…," said Drake, "Besides, your main fossil chargers, we were able to develop not also the Cyclizar, Dino Spiker and more… but, we have Fossil Chargers that can serve as attacks that Prehistoric Pokémon used. For example… Fossil Battery 15: Flamethrower!"
Joe, slap happy, dove in as he grabbed the ruby charger with the number 15 on it, "This is so cool!"
"Hey, Joe…," said Leona, "Can Drake finish his presentation?"
"Why?" asked Joe, "This is the perfect time to do a test!"
Grayson sighed as he looked at Joe. His eyes rolled as he looked at the black ranger, "Your excitement annoys me, Joseph."
"And you make everything dull…," said Joe, looking at him as he pressed the charger, "Flamethrower, Energize!"
Pressing the button in the Fossil Blaster, he closed the blaster, spinning it. He aimed for a patch of ground as a red aura surrounded it. Pulling the trigger as hard as he could, a stream of flames emerged out into the ground. Little did he know how much force he used reflected the attack toward him. Joe was caught on fire as he was rolling on the ground. The rangers rolled their eyes as Grayson shook his head. Drake shook his head, "Depending on how much force you use on them will determine how strong the attack will be. Flamethrower is a hard one to control…. Because of that reason."
"So, what about this?" asked Grayson, picking up the navy charger.
"Fossil Charger 19: Minimize," said Drake, "Just like a Pokémon to use it to increase evasiveness, if used, any target can shrink for 30 seconds."
Grayson turned around as he looked at Joe. Joe was burnt as he looked at Grayson. Grayson grinned as he pressed the button, "Minimize, Energize!"
Pressing the charger, he pushed the charger in his own Fossil Blaster and spun it. A blue aura surrounded it as he pulled the trigger. A blue beam struck Joe as he started to shrink. Joe looked up to see a giant-sized Grayson.
"Hey, can I get back?" asked Joe.
Grayson grinned as he picked Joe up with his fingers. Joe squirmed as he looked at Grayson, "Let me down! Let me down!"
"This is why Drake demonstrates and you do not," said Grayson, placing him on the bench. Within ten seconds, a blue aura surrounded Joe as he enlarged back.
"Well, that was rude!" shouted Joe.
"I was right," said Grayson, "You're a reckless fellow."
"You little-," Joe snarled.
As the two started to argue, Lisa, Atticus and Leona went over to try to break up the fight. Before Drake could say anything, a blue electric bolt struck him. He closed his eyes as he felt a light blue essence. He began to visualize a zord in the shadows, covered in a teal blue aura.
"He's alive… a new zord is coming," said Drake.
Chapter 6: Cremelia Dentistry
"8… 9… 10," Grayson said, huffing and puffing.
He collapsed on the floor, finishing his tricep pushups. Flipping over, he was out of breath doing his fourth set. Ampharos and Feraligatr were looking over him as Grayson rolled his eyes. Ampharos turned around as his tail hit his body, creating an electric pulse. Grayson jolted as he looked at him, "Ampharos, you didn't need to shock me! I was fine."
Ampharos's eyes looked at him with concern. Grayson nodded, "Okay, you win. I was out of it."
"You really need to stop overexerting. My dad used to say that when I helped run his training gym," said Atticus, walking in with his gym bag, "Unless, you are angry with what happened between you and Joe."
"…," Grayson muttered, "Why did you have to bring that up?"
"The two of you make a dynamic duo," said Atticus, looking at him and the other Pokémon, "Both of you have amazing qualities that work."
"Atticus, all I want is respect from my fellow teammate and to actually think," said Grayson.
Immediately, Atticus took a deep breath, "You see, that is where you're wrong."
Grayson turned to him and spoke to him in a stern tone, "What do you mean wrong?"
"If you think about it, the Poké Rangers are a team of Pokémon. Each Pokémon has a set of skills that helps you, the trainer, face other people in battle, they develop a strong bond between the trainer and Pokémon, plus they all work together for a common goal. Now, I'm not saying we are Pokémon, but we do have powers of the Pokémon and we have to use those skills to achieve our goal," said Atticus.
"Well, I appreciate the clarification," Grayson said, "But, if the five of us are going to work together, he needs to calm his britches."
"I heard that," a voice said.
Grayson sighed as he muttered again. Turning around, Joe arrived with his arms folded across his chest. His gym bag was on the floor and he was full of sweat from his workout. Zebstrika wasn't too pleased with his comment. Immediately, Grayson's Ampharos started to charge his tail.
"No need to get our Pokémon but may I speak to you outside?" asked Grayson.
Joe looked at him, "No… we are going to settle this right here and now. You just don't like the fact that sometimes I like to do things off the cuff. You are so analytical, over analytical that you don't think outside the box."
"Sometimes, you need to analyze before you just do it," said Grayson, "It's the warrior's way."
"Burn the rule book," said Joe, looking at him, "You don't need to follow the rules all the time."
"With precise training and protocol, we will be successful," said Grayson, looking at him, "Which you lack for someone who has prior experience."
"Why I oughta-," Joe said, ready to throw a punch. Luckily, Atticus blocked it with his fist and looked at both of them, "Let's do lunch."
"WHAT?" asked Grayson and Joe.
"You heard me. We are going to the Jubilife Café," Atticus said, grabbing both of them by the collar of their shirts, "And we are going to solve this… as normal people."
Grayson and Joe sighed as they turned their heads to the side. Joe turned around as he looked at him, "What about your workout?"
"I'll save it," said Atticus, "Now, let's go children."
"I AM NOT A CHILD!" shouted Grayson.
Everyone turned around as he said that. Atticus said nothing as Grayson looked in embarrassment. Joe stood there in shock as Grayson freaked out a little. Grayson muttered as he walked out the door, pushing the door away. His Pokémon followed him.
Twenty minutes later…
The weather was nice enough for Lisa and Leona to meet the boys outside for lunch. Leona was sitting there as she was drinking a glass of tea. Lisa was grinning as she was having another glass of tea, "So, we're meeting the guys. Atticus called us."
"Yeah, he seemed stressed," Leona said, "I think it had to do with Grayson and Joe."
"Not surprised," the pink ranger responded.
As the two started to sip their drinks, they heard the sound of grunting. Leona turned around as she spat her tea out in surprise, landing on the pavement. Atticus was dragging Joe by the arm in one hand and Grayson over his shoulder in the other hand. As he walked toward the table, he let Joe down and then threw Grayson on the chair.
"Now, let's have a chat," said Atticus.
"You didn't have to be so rude about it," said Grayson.
"Well, we ordered cake," said Lisa, looking at them, "Cake and conversation… solves everything."
"You know what solves everything? A good glass of Persian Beer," said Joe.
"Says the alcoholic across the room," muttered Grayson.
Joe was going to say something, but he quieted down as he looked at Atticus. He remembered being punched by him on the way out to Jubilife City so the less pain, the better. Atticus turned around as he looked at Grayson, "Now, calling each other names is not going to solve the problem. The five of us all need to work together. Joe learned the hard way with the Dino Spiker."
"That's because I was head over heels with Jenny," said Joe, looking at him. Atticus glared at him as he turned to Joe, "But, it's hard to work with someone who analyzes everything."
"And I can't stand reckless trainers," said Grayson, looking at Joe.
"Name one thing I did that was reckless," said Joe, "Prior to the Dino Spiker."
Grayson looked at him silently as he looked at him. Joe turned around as he shook his head, "Exactly. You don't know me as well as you think you do. I can see right through you, Mr. Swordsman. You just don't even know it."
"Listen you-," said Grayson.
"No, you listen," Joe interrupted, "The past month you have been nothing but a spike in my back. You didn't want to work with anybody at all, you just wanted to do it yourself. You then finally realized that you need the four of us in order to take down these crazy creatures… now you've gotten comfortable with Leona and Lisa… and then Atticus… but obviously I'm the problem."
Grayson went to say something, but Joe continued, "Now, I am going to give you a piece of my mind. You have been on my case since Day 1. I am not changing anything in order to work with you. You are just going to have to adapt and deal with it."
"After the stunt you pulled earlier, you are lucky Sinnoh didn't burn to the ground," said Grayson, "Did you ever think that maybe I acted this way because I'm concerned about how you work with everyone?"
Joe turned around as he looked at the waiter, who was serving the cake. The rangers stayed silent as Joe looked at the cake. The cake was white with pink and yellow frosting and a strawberry on top. He looked at Grayson as he went to dig in, "Thanks for your concern but freaking out is not-."
He was then interrupted as he heard a Pokémon whine. Placing the fork down, Joe turned around to see a Meowth in tears. Joe lifted the Meowth up as he was looking at his teeth. Joe freaked out as he saw purple auras around the teeth, almost decaying.
"Oh my… cavities!" Joe said.
"They don't look like normal cavities," said Lisa, looking at it. She turned around as she saw a group of people in pain. They turned around seeing they had the same symptoms. Grayson then turned around as he saw it was the cake slices they were eating. All were the same. As Joe went to take a bite, Grayson quickly grabbed the plate.
"What?" asked Joe.
"Don't eat the cake," said Grayson.
Immediately, a purple aura surrounded their plates as their cake started decaying into black powder. Lisa and the others looked at each other as they turned around. Atticus stood up as he saw a waiter walk toward him, "How was the cake?"
Immediately, the waiter yelled as he was shot down. The rangers turned around as Grayson had his Fossil Blaster in hand. The rangers looked down as they noticed the waiter glowing into a green aura, transforming into a Mook. Grayson then turned around as he pulled the trigger again, this time at the window. The glass broke as they heard someone scream. Cremelia flew out as she landed on the ground.
"Who are you?" asked Grayson.
"I am Lieutenant Cremelia, Ferro Fett's henchman! You ruined our plan again!" she shouted.
"Now I am curious," said Joe.
Turning around, a humanoid Alcremie walked over with a baker's hat. He had mega chompers and carried a silver blaster that looked like a cake batter container. He looked at Cremelia as he picked him up.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"Cavitara, thank you… now let's give more people cavities!" he shouted.
Cavitara laughed as a purple aura surrounded him. His teeth were decayed, and his cake blaster turned into dental weapons, such as a waterpick, a knife and pliers. He also wore a green doctor's suit, "Catch us if you can!"
Immediately, Cavitara and Cremelia went their separate ways. Leona nodded as she snapped her right hand. The rangers split up to hunt them down. Joe was picking up the pace as he turned right, heading towards an alleyway.
Cavitara was laughing as he was barreling through the seats, knocking things down as he continued to distract. Joe's eyes locked into the yellow barrels that he knocked down and went to bend his knees. Lifting up, he flipped over and continued dashing toward him. Cavitara turned around as he saw an old table, kicking it toward Joe. Joe dodged the attack as he did a shoulder roll. Joe quickly took out his Fossil Blaster and then pulled the trigger. As he did, a golden blast of energy shot out of the blaster, piercing the back of the monster. Cavitara landed on his stomach as Joe stopped running. Cavitara laughed as he looked at him, "You think that little gun can-."
Suddenly, he felt three green leaves impale him in the chest. Explosions surrounded the creature as Grayson appeared with his Fossil Saber. Joe turned around as he looked at him, "Oh great…"
"Can we fight him without arguing for once?" asked Grayson.
"MOOKS!'
Grayson and Joe turned around as the Mooks exploded from all parts of the alley. Joe and Grayson stood back-to-back as they revealed their Fossil Chargers, "Fossil Charger, Energize!"
Pressing the button on both chargers, the two rangers spun around as the Mooks went to strike. Joe and Grayson used their weapons to shoot them down as they went to do another spin, opening the Fossil Blasters to place their Fossil Charger in the slot.
Armaldo Charger, Energize!
Kabutops Charger, Energize!
The two rangers raised their blasters and spun the Fossil Blasters. Black and green auras surrounded them, "Unleash the Power!"
Transforming into their suits, the rangers headed straight toward Cavitara. Cavitara took out his scalpel like weapon and went to strike. Joe and Grayson dodged the attack as Cavitara hissed. Grayson dodged for the ground as he turned around with his sword. He slashed Cavitara with the Fossil Saber as he went to duel him. Cavitara continued to swing his weapon, causing Grayson to parry with his saber. Cavitara went to open his mouth only for a golden beam to shoot him in the teeth. The beam headed from Joe's blaster, almost hitting Grayson's face as it hit the front teeth on contact. The teeth reflected the beam, heading toward Joe's chest. Joe yelled as he landed on the ground.
"What the heck?" asked Grayson, "You almost shot me!"
"You're okay," said Joe.
"… I can't," said Grayson.
Immediately, pink and white beams pierced Grayson's armor as he fell to the ground. Joe turned around as Cremelia arrived with her cake blaster, "Would you like some icing with your complaining?"
"I would rather eat dirt," Joe said, groaning.
"Joe! Grayson!"
The two rangers turned around as Leona, Atticus and Lisa arrived to fight. Cavitara turned around as he looked at them, "I need more cavities to become more invincible!"
"Good thinking… let's go!" she shouted, turning around, "So long!"
A pink blast of energy surrounded them as they disappeared. Leona and the others dashed over to see them leave. Leona turned around as she looked at them, "So close!"
Suddenly, Joe turned around as he felt something shake. The other rangers turned around as they were struggling to stand up. Immediately, they heard a loud roar in the distance. Leona turned around as she stood in surprise. A robotic aqua Omastar emerged from the ground. Screaming, spikes flew across as the rangers were hit. Omastar opened its teeth, screaming as a bright purple aura surrounded it. Explosions surrounded them as the Omastar started to dive underground, heading into the depths.
"Was that a robotic Omastar?" asked Grayson.
"I don't know… but it did," said Leona.
"We should probably go see Drake," said Atticus.
The rangers nodded as they turned around, heading back to Oreburgh City. As Joe was the last to leave, he turned around to see purple energy bolts from the underground crack. Something was up in Joe's mind as he tried to solve everything.
Dino Paradise…
"So," said Drake, turning around as he looked at Roark. The rangers arrived in Dino Paradise as they went to debrief Drake on what happened, "You were attacked by Cremelia's monster and an Omastar showed up?"
"Yeah," said Joe, "It ran rampant in Jubilife for a few seconds."
Drake turned around as he looked at the rangers, "That could be one of the missing zords. The Helix Fossil has an Energy Crystal in it."
"Wait," said Leona, looking at the other battery slot. She saw that there were energy crystal storage units starting with the number 6 to 10. Leona reached over to the number 7 slot, seeing the aqua Fossil Charger, "You mean to tell me that Omastar is one of our zords?"
"Yes," said Drake, "It's Energy Crystal is unknown. Usually, the zords don't awaken until they bonded with the crystal.."
"Well… the teeth were abnormal," said Atticus, scratching his chin, looking at the group, "Wait! What if-."
"… But, that's impossible. I thought the Prehistoric Pokémon were extinct," said Leona, "Therefore, it is impossible for Omastar to come out without a fossil."
Drake raised a finger, "But, there's something you all need to know."
The rangers were silent as Drake continued to speak, "When I brought the energy crystals out of the Dinosaur Kingdom to Sinnoh many years ago and fused them with the prehistoric Pokémon, Ferro Fett did arrive with Shockhound, but he also sent his monsters to stop me. Cavitara was one of them."
"So, basically the Pokémon fought them," said Lisa, sitting down as she was looking at the table, "But…"
"Before the meteors struck, Cavitara faced Omastar. Omastar was hit with Cavitara's weapon before Ferro Fett was destroyed by Tyrantrum. It's a possibility that Omastar has been dealing with the pain all of these years," said Drake.
"Which was why the zord never fossilized like the others," said Joe, "I am sure there's a way to defeat Cavitara and calm Omastar down."
Grayson turned to Joe as he chuckled. Joe turned around as he looked at him. He took a deep breath as he went to speak, "Something funny?"
"Funny," said Grayson, "You want to calm him down yet you are so reckless."
Joe took a deep breath as he went to sit down. Grayson turned around as he looked at him. Joe shook his head as he looked at Drake, "Grayson, not now."
"Oh, so you now are acting calm," said Grayson.
Leona took a deep breath as she looked at him, "That's enough, Grayson."
Grayson turned around as he looked at her," Why?"
"Because you are being a jerk right now," Leona responded. Grayson said nothing as he looked at all of them. He knew his temper was getting to be the best of him, but the fact that his own friends were defending Joe made him cringe. Grayson stretched his hand as the green Energy Crystal appeared in his hand. Grabbing his batteries, he headed toward the exit as he looked at all of them, "Fine, defend him. I'm out."
Pulling the trigger, a blast pierced the floor as a green aura surrounded him, teleporting him away from the area.
Meanwhile…
Cremelia was grinning as she was looking at what was going on. Sitting in one of the alleyways of Jubilife City, Cremelia danced toward Cavitara, who was designing more cakes. Cremelia was super excited to see everyone moaning in pain as Maracturne was taking pictures.
"Perfect… more pain the better!" said Cremelia.
"If everyone is in pain… we can draw the rangers out and then… boom!" Maracturne said.
"We get the Energy Crystals and Ferro Fett is a happy hunter," Cremelia said, grinning as she was looking at the team, "Now, let's continue."
Cavitara grinned as he looked at Cremelia and Maracturne. His teeth began to glow in a purple aura as his cavities began to show. Cavitara laughed as he raised his cake blaster, "Let's do it!"
Back at Jubilife City…
Lisa was sitting with some of the trainers as they were making a few lines to meet with Nurse Joy and Blissey. Lisa sat down as she was getting some of the tools to borrow. She looked at a Bidoof, who was cringing in pain. Bidoof carefully opened its mouth, examining the rotting teeth that was in. Lisa looked at the trainer, who was standing there, "It looks like he ate the cake. We will have to get him to the dentist specialist for now to ease the pain."
The trainer, grumbling, took Bidoof and walked away. Grayson marked a tally on the board as he was trying to figure it out. So far, 200 Pokémon and their trainers were affected by Cavitara's tooth decay plan. Understanding that Cavitara can do more, Lisa thought figuring out how many affected would help determine the location. Grayson decided to join them after calming down, but wanted to help keep track. Atticus and Leona were helping divert traffic, helping Nurse Joy.
"So, where's Joe?" asked Grayson, looking at Lisa.
Lisa raised an eyebrow, "Well, he wanted to try looking at it in a different way."
"Different way?" asked Grayson, looking at Lisa. Lisa turned around as she looked at him, "Well, I am sure there are multiple ways to solve this."
Grayson walked closer as he went to continue on, "I thought once we figure out a plan, we stick with it."
"Well, we usually do. But, sometimes, we have to do something to reach the same goal. It's called differentiation," said Lisa, examining another Pokémon, "Differentiation is still part of the plan because we all want to work toward the same goal, but sometimes we have to modify or change things up in order to reach that goal. Joe is not one to sit still and examine all of the Pokémon to find traces of where Cavitara would be or even to find an antidote. He would go find the source."
"But, wouldn't that put him in danger?" asked Grayson.
"Probably, but he has a plan that can help stop these cavity like attacks," said Lisa, looking at the Bibrael, which looked in pain, "Can you help me with the scalpel?"
"Sure…," said Grayson, picking it up. As Lisa was removing the cavity, Grayson began to notice that as the cavity was filled or removed, Grayson noticed the purple energy getting less and less noticeable. Grayson then turned around as he began to think. He looked up as he turned to Lisa, "Notice that what you're doing is causing less pain! The glow is diminishing."
Lisa turned around as she looked at his mouth. The purple aura was less bright than it was earlier, "You got a point."
"I wonder…," Grayson started to say.
Meanwhile…
Cremelia laughed as she was dancing around the area. Cavitara laughed as his face was full of anger. Using his weapon, purple beams shot out as each person or Pokémon in target developed cavities. As each target was crying in pain, Cavitara laughed as he looked at Cavitara.
"Well, that should get the rangers here soon!" he shouted.
Immediately, golden beams pierced Cavitara in the back. Cavitara turned around as he looked at Joe, who had his Fossil Blaster in hand. Cavitara laughed as he looked at Joe with blaster in hand, "You plan on fighting me?"
Joe aimed carefully looking at the teeth. Cavitara's teeth was shining with a purple aura around it. As he pulled the trigger, the golden beam shot straight toward the teeth. The purple teeth reflected the beam, heading straight to Joe. As the beam changed to a purple energy beam, Joe was hit in the face. Joe cringed as he fell on the floor, rolling around the ground. Cavitara laughed as Joe managed to stand up. Opening his mouth, his teeth were glowing in purple light.
"Look who's got cavities!" he shouted.
"Oh…," Joe groaned as he went to shoot him down.
Cavitara stepped forward as he opened his mouth, "Let's-."
Suddenly, a green aura appeared behind Joe. Joe turned around as Grayson flipped forward with his weapon, slicing one of his teeth. Cavitara screamed as Grayson landed on the ground. Grayson turned around as he reached for Joe's arm, "You okay?"
"… I am still in pain," said Joe, "But, I'll be fine."
Grayson turned around as he looked at him, "I'm glad you were able to sneak him out."
"If you want to say something…," said Joe, looking at Grayson, but Grayson punched him in the arm, "We were able to figure it out on why Cavitara is so strong."
"Teeth?" asked Joe, rubbing his chin. Grayson nodded as he turned to him, "Remove the teeth, he's vulnerable."
Joe turned to him as he looked at Cavitara. Grayson brought up a valid point, but he needed more clarification on what was going on. Joe looked at him as he opened his mouth. Grayson grumbled as he looked at him, "How?"
"His teeth have a barrier that can reflect and cause cavities," said Joe, trying not to cringe.
Cavitara laughed as he looked at both of them. Grayson turned around as he grabbed his Fossil Saber. Before he could strike, beams strike the area. Explosions surrounded Cavitara as he looked up. Leona, Atticus and Lisa arrived as they arrived with their weapons.
"Joe!" shouted Leona.
Joe grumbled as Leona, Atticus and Lisa were morphed in their suits, ready to fight. Cavitara turned to Joe and Grayson, "I plan on grabbing your crystals and making you feel some tooth pain!"
Joe turned to Grayson, who was helping him up. Joe shook his head as he turned to the green ranger, "Seeing that you figured it out… let's beat this creampuff."
"Gladly," said Grayson.
Joe and Grayson reached for their Fossil Chargers, "Fossil Charger, energize!"
Joe cringed as he opened his jaw while trying to do the dance. As the two rangers danced around, spinning, they activated their Fossil Blasters to place the Fossil Charger inside.
Armaldo Charger, energize!
Kabutops Charger, energize!
"Unleash the Power!"
Spinning the weapon, a black and green aura surrounded their blasters as they reached to the sky. Pulling the trigger, an Armaldo and a Kabutops flew across. The Pokémon materialized around them as they transformed into their suits. Leona and the others arrived as they went to strike.
"Let's do it!"
"Tyrantrum! Dino Charge Red!"
"Armaldo! Dino- OW!"
Joe cringed as he went to do his roll call. He sat down as he looked up, seeing Grayson petting him on the head, "This is Dino Charge Black."
"Carracosta! Dino Charge Blue!"
"Kabutops! Dino Charge Green!"
"Bastiodon! Dino Charge Pink!"
"Poké Rangers Dino Charge!"
Joe managed to bring himself up from the ground as he went to speak, "It's about to get wild… where's the Novocain?"
Cavitara grumbled as he snapped his fingers. A green aura surrounded the area as the Mooks arrived to strike. The five rangers stood together as they took out their Fossil Blasters and placed them on their right shoulder, sliding down the arm.
"Dino Armor, Engage!"
Immediately, their personal weapons arrived to fight. Leona jumped over as she struck the Mooks with the Tyrantrum Fang. She grabbed one, slicing a Mook in the stomach. She turned around as she did a spinning hook kick, knocking another one. She then turned around as she did two kicks in the face. Leona turned around as she did two kicks in the face. The Mooks screamed as they landed on the ground. Leona turned around as a Mook went to strike with its saber. Leona's Tyrantrum Fang broke the saber as a red energy beam surrounded it.
"Iron Head!"
She smashed the Mook in the stomach, causing a black and red shockwave to occur. The Mook flew across as he landed on the ground. The Mook screamed as he rolled on the ground.
Atticus managed to jump up as he threw a Mook into a pile. As the Mook landed into a pile of Mooks, the creatures screamed as they tried to get up. Atticus turned around as more were coming toward him. Grinning, Atticus used his Carracosta Shield to launch them over. As more were coming, Atticus could see the pile. A blue aura surrounded his shield as he stretched his shield out.
"Razor Shell!"
His Carracosta Shield launched out of his hand, creating a blue wheel of energy. The shell spun around like a boomerang, slashing the pile of Mooks. Upon return, Atticus turned around as explosions appeared.
Lisa kicked a few of them, one by one. She turned around as more were coming toward her in the alleyway. Lisa jumped up as she did a split between two buildings. Doing a spider crawl, she managed to find a clothesline in the air, connecting one building to the other. Grabbing the clothesline, she swung across the pile as she landed near the exit. Spinning around, she stretched out her Bastiodon Drill. A pink aura surrounded it as she aimed her weapon.
"Iron Drill!"
Releasing the Bastiodon Drill, a pink aura surrounded her drill as it was launched. A silver drill pierced the Mooks as they all exploded into thin air. Attaching the weapon back to Lisa's arm, there was one more that was heading toward. Immediately, a silver aura surrounded the weapon.
"Iron Tail!"
A silver aura surrounded the Bastiodon Drill as the Mook was smacked heavily. Screaming in pain, Lisa grinned as the Mook disappeared, "Done!"
Cavitara released purple beams from his mouth. Grayson was able to block each move with his Kabutops Slasher. As explosions surrounded either side, Grayson rolled forward and sliced another tooth across. Cavitara screamed as he yelled in pain. Joe turned around as he went to use his Armaldo Blaster. Shooting the creature down with his weapon, Cavitara used his one and only tooth to reflect it. Joe felt the attack as he landed on the ground. Grayson dashed over as Joe hit him.
"It seems blasters won't work…," said Grayson, "We need a counterattack."
"… Well… how about this?" asked Joe, "I'll distract him… you strike him."
"What do you mean?" asked Grayson, confused.
Joe reached into his belt buckle. He grabbed his Armaldo Fossil Charger to give to Grayson, "Plug that into the Fossil Saber and use the Kabutops Slasher. If you give it time to charge and I try to shoot Cavitara, you will have time to strike him down."
Grayson rubbed his helmet as he looked at Joe, "Well, I hope it works… hotshot."
"It better… now, can we work together here?" he asked.
Cavitara laughed as he looked at the both of them, "Are you two done arguing so I can give you more cavities?"
Joe stood up on his own two feet as the two rangers stood with their weapons. Joe and Grayson looked at Cavitara as he was looking at them happily, "Your crystals will be mine."
Joe nodded as he looked at Grayson, "No way! Let's go, dude!"
Giving Grayson a high five, Grayson caught the Fossil Charger in his hand. Joe turned around as he looked at his Armaldo Blaster. Pulling the trigger, Cavitara watched as he turned to meet the blaster, reflecting the energy back toward Joe. Joe dodged the attack as he continued. This gave Grayson the opportunity.
"Double Fossil Charger, Energize!"
He placed Joe's Fossil Charger in the Fossil Saber, closing it in the chamber. A purple aura surrounded his Fossil Saber as he went to put his own Fossil Charger in the Kabutops Slasher. A green aura surrounded it as Grayson went to pick up the sword. Dashing toward Cavitara, Cavitara reflected the energy back at Joe, just in time for Grayson to block it with his saber, reflecting it back toward Cavitara. Cavitara screamed as his tooth broke. He looked up as the Fossil Saber began to charge. An Armaldo struck out as the last tooth was removed. Cavitara screamed without any teeth.
"Now… X-Scissor!"
A black and green line struck Cavitara diagonally, making an X. Cavitara screamed as he fell to his knees, exploding into pieces. Joe's teeth began to return to normal, feeling the pain going away. Grayson dashed over as he looked at Joe. Joe nodded as he turned to him, "Thanks."
"Anytime, partner," said Grayson, grinning.
Joe turned around, "Now, you want to work with me."
"Someone told me as long as we differentiate, we can always reach the same goal," said Grayson, looking at Lisa as she and the others arrived.
"That was impressive!" said Lisa, looking at both of them.
Suddenly, there was a loud groan. Lisa turned around as the others arrived. Cremelia screamed as she was saw the corpse, "You… disgusting human beings! Look what you did to my beast!"
"Cremelia… quit it," said Grayson.
"No, I won't quit it! Maracturne, where are you?"
Maracturne nodded as he jumped out of the bushes. He grinned as he took out his green smart phone like device, "I got it covered, got to find the app."
"App?" asked the rangers.
Maracturne looked at the phone and started looking at the screen. He had five different apps, one being red with a white M in the middle. He pressed the button, which opened the target scanner, "There, Magna Beam!"
Suddenly, a green burst of energy emerged from the sky, hitting the ground. Cavitara's corpse began to come together as he grew ten times bigger. His cavity blaster was somewhat different. It was silver and white with red and golden torches. Using it, pink flames struck out, causing buildings to explode.
"If I can't get the crystals, then I might burn this whole city down!" he shouted.
"Atticus, Lisa, let's roll!" said Leona, taking out her Fossil Charger, "Tyrantrum!"
"Carracosta!"
"Bastiodon!"
"I Choose You!"
The three rangers threw their Fossil Chargers in the air, enlarging as three robotic Pokémon emerged. Tyrantrum, Carracosta and Bastiodon started charging toward the area.
"Tri-Fossil Fusion!"
Immediately, Tyrantrum opened its mouth. Blue and pink energy surrounded Bastiodon and Carracosta as Tyrantrum ingested the energy. A red aura surrounded the Tyrantrum as the legs began to rise higher, seeing robotic feet. The Tyrantrum Zord roared as the upper body rotated, leaving the tail to be the left side and the head of the zord on the right. The Carracosta and Bastiodon jumped up. Carracosta shrunk its head, arms, legs into the shell. The tail transformed into the right hand of the Megazord. The Bastiodon raised its tail as it connected to the left side with its legs and arms shrinking, forming the left hand and arm of the Megazord. A human head popped out of the body. It was a silver head with a red helmet that looked like a Tyrantrum helmet. Green eyes glowed as it started jumping.
"Dino Charge Megazord, Battle Ready!"
Leona, Atticus and Lisa were already in the cockpit, placing their blasters in the holster. Immediately, Cavitara screamed as he released a stream of pink flames. The flames exploded around them as the rangers held on tight. The team charged in with their weapons, striking the area. The Carracosta armor blocked some of the flames. Immediately, the Bastiodon arm went to charge into Cavitara. Opening its mouth, a silver beam of energy struck the flames, piercing the attack, hitting Cavitara. Cavitara screamed as explosions surrounded it. Cavitara turned around as he released a purple web of paste. The Dino Charge Megazord dodged the attack as the paste destroyed an abandoned building, causing it to dissolve into nothingness.
"That thing is powerful when grown," said Grayson.
"I guess we will give them back up," said Joe, "Let's do it!"
Before they could reach for their Fossil Chargers, a blue aura surrounded them as Drake appeared in the middle.
"Drake!" shouted Joe, "What's up?"
"Look at your crystals," said Drake.
Immediately, a purple aura surrounded Joe and a green aura surrounded Grayson. Inside the cockpit, the rangers' aura surrounded them.
"What's going on with our crystals?" asked Joe.
Drake nodded as he turned around, "Because the five of you are now working together, the Dino Charge Megazord has given you access to join them in the cockpit. Once inside, you will be able to access new powers to stop this creature."
Grayson and Joe nodded as they turned to the Dino Charge Megazord. Joe pressed a button on his wrist, "Yo, Leona, did you hear that?"
"I guess," said Leona, "Let's try it!"
Joe and Grayson jumped up from the ground. A flash of black and green light surrounded them as they reached into the cockpit. On Atticus's right, Joe arrived in the cockpit and on Lisa's left, Grayson arrived. The rangers placed their Fossil Blasters in. Black, green, red, blue and pink energy beams surrounded the Megazord as it broke out to attack.
"I don't care how much power there is," said Cavitara, "Take my Cavity Flame Blaster!"
Joe quickly stretched out his hand. A ruby charger arrived as he went over to his Fossil Blaster.
"Fossil Charger, energize!"
Placing the charger inside the blaster, he spun the blaster, "Flamethrower!"
Flamethrower, activate!
Tyrantrum's mouth opened wide as a stream of flames struck Cavitara. Cavitara screamed as he was hit by the intense flames. Immediately, the Dino Charge Megazord threw a punch at Cavitara's face. Screaming, Cavitara struggled to get up as he looked at the Dino Charge Megazord.
"Let's-…," said Leona. Before she could finish, there were five golden lights, showing their Fossil Sabers.
"Use the Dino Charge Saber!" shouted Drake.
Immediately, a green aura surrounded Grayson's cockpit as Grayson turned around to remove the Fossil Saber. As each ranger removed the saber, Leona's saber began to glow in a bright red aura as the saber began to glow in a greyish-gold saber with five energy crystals of their ranger color. With each crystal, there was an engravement of the Jaw, Claw, Cover, Dome and Armor Fossils.
A blue aura surrounded the Dino Charge Megazord as an exact replica of the sword materialized, but bigger.
"Dino Charge Saber, Fossil Strike!"
Raising the saber, a golden circle was formed as replicas of Tyrantrum, Armaldo, Carracosta, Kabutops and Bastiodon arrive. As the saber reached the top, a golden energy beam surrounded the whole blade as it went down on Cavitara. Cavitara felt its whole body split in two as he fell to the ground. Explosions surrounded the area as the Dino Charge Megazord stood.
"Alright!" shouted the rangers.
Suddenly, the rangers felt another earthquake. As the rangers held on for dear life. They turned around as spikes were heading toward the Dino Charge Megazord. Explosions surrounded them as the rangers turned around. Joe and Grayson looked at each other as they turned to see an Omastar… an angry Omastar.
"That's Omastar again!" shouted Joe, examining it, "But, it's mouth is still purple!"
"How?" asked Grayson.
Lisa turned around as she pressed a few buttons, "Guys, I'm doing a scan right now. That zord has no cavities."
"Then…" said Joe, looking at them, "What?"
Atticus turned around, "Probably it's possessed!"
"It's possible," said Joe.
Lisa turned around as she looked at Joe. Joe nodded as he looked at her, "I think you might be right…"
As the rangers looked at the screen, they zoomed in closer to see a creature within the Omastar. He screamed as he was spinning around with what looked like an aqua like crystal.
"Whoever is in there has that energy source… it's an Energy Crystal," said Lisa.
The other four rangers turned around as Omastar screamed, burying underground. A loud laugh appeared in the background. The rangers turned to each other as they were amazed with what was going on. There were so many plot holes to what was going on. Cremelia sent Cavitara out to infect the world and Omastar arrived twice. On top of it, the Aqua Energy Crystal was found. The question to the rangers was how it was found and what to do in the first place? In Leona's mind, she realized the only thing to do right now is report it.
"We need to head back to Dino Paradise…," said Leona, "We have some questions."

Poké Rangers Dino Charge Chapter 7: Taming of the Omastar
A/N: So, this was an interesting chapter to write because of the plot holes, which have been hard to figure out in my head. This was written back in March, where things in my personal life haven't been going well, so I had to fix this. However, this was set up for Omastar and who might control it.
The next five chapters is pretty much two arcs in one. You will see that obviously we will talk about who will meet the Omastar Zord and there's also another zord coming soon that will overlap.
