A/N: Here's Chapter 8! I hope you enjoy!

The woods were breezy on Route 204 as the rangers were hanging out north of Jubilife City. Grayson found a great place to picnic. The five rangers were sitting in the woods as they were eating a wonderful lunch with their Pokémon enjoying some quality time. Grayson sat down as he grabbed as black and blue box. Lisa sat next to him as Leona and the others were looking at the two of them.

"You seem to be happy," said Joe, "Are you two dating?"

"You're funny," Grayson said, looking at Joe as he turned to Lisa, "Shall we?"

"Yes," said Lisa, opening the box. The rangers stood in shock as they saw a silver device that was similar to the Pokétch that each ranger possessed. Leona was impressed as he was looking at it, "What is it?"

"A Fossil Finder," said Grayson, "Lisa and I were able to figure out that our crystals have a frequency that can react to the ones we haven't discovered."

Atticus rubbed his hands as he went to look at it, "How does this work?"

As Grayson and Lisa went to explain how everything worked, Leona was sitting against a tree, opening her journal.

All is well in the land of Sinnoh! I have to admit that I have the best, amazing friends ever. When I was lonely at the Sinclair Institute, I wasn't sure that I would be close with anyone. I feel like the five of them are my family. I don't know what I would do without them. Will they be able to stay in contact when we all depart?

For example, I am super impressed with Grayson. I honestly didn't think we would connect. He is more than just a swordsman, a ninja, a warrior of justice. He is very tech savvy, knows how everything works and it has been a pleasure to see him grow. Then, there's Joe… With his experience, even though he didn't wear a ranger suit when he met the Hoenn team, it was so cool to see his expertise. Even though he's a sharpshooter, he really is an amazing guy to work with. Lisa is very smart as well. I have to admit, she knows a lot about biology with her dreams of being a nurse.

Then, there's Atticus. He's very… amazing in my heart. He seems all buff and scary. Sometimes, he goes to the gym. Kidding, he always goes to the gym with his Pokémon due to his family running a gym. He also cares about me and makes sure I don't go insane. There… I said it.

"You aren't going to look at the new gizmo he created?" asked Atticus, looking at Leona as she closed her journal. Atticus grinned as Leona went to stand up. As Leona went to sit down, she took out her sapphire pendant that was in her pocket. Joe was curious as he was looking at it. He turned around as he saw the sound beeping a little from the Fossil Finder.

"Hey," said Joe, looking at the pendant, "I never seen you wear this before."

"I saw it in Hoenn when I was around the Cave of Origin doing research on Groudon and Kyogre and I picked it up. My parents said it was something special," said Leona, looking at Joe.

"Well, it almost looks…," said Joe, "Well, it's not the Blue Orb."

"Oh no!" Leona said, looking at Joe, "The Blue Orb is definitely darker and obviously something that you wouldn't wear on a necklace. It is a different shade of blue."

Joe grinned as he turned to look at the Fossil Finder, seeing a beeping noise. Maybe, it was just the machine. He also scratched his chin as he sat down to look. Lisa turned it off as she took out a vile from her pocket.

"What is that?" asked Leona.

"A sample of Old Amber. Our focus is finding the Aerodactyl Fossil with the Gold Energy Crystal," Lisa responded.

Ferro Fett's Ship…

Creamelia and Ferro Fett were sitting down on the bridge. Ferro Fett looked at her as she was bummed. Ferro Fett looked at her as she groaned, "Creamelia, you've done what you could do."

"But, it's not fair," said Creamelia, "You should've punched me or something!"

"Maracturne took the punishment," Ferro Fett said, "Besides, we have to kill a sixth ranger now."

"Ferro Fett!"

The voice of Shockhound caused Ferro Fett to stand up as he stood on the bridge, bowing down to him. Shockhound lifted his face as he looked at him, "Sir, we have a new commander! Commander Copysharp!"

The door opened behind Shockhound. Creamelia and Ferro Fett stood in shock as Copysharp stood there. He was a humanoid Bisharp with golden and red armor instead of silver. He also had a silver sash diagonal from shoulder to hip. He had ruby, black, blue, green and pink lights as well. He turned around as he looked at his hands. Touching Creamelia, a pink aura surrounded him as he transformed into Creamelia.

"A ha!" he shouted, "That looks cool."

"That's creepy!" shouted Creamelia.

Ferro Fett nodded in response as he was looking at him. Ferro Fett stood there as Creamelia and Copysharp looked at each other. Ferro Fett turned to Shockhound, "Execute the plan at once!"

Chapter 8: Double Danger

Leona was sitting down, resting on her back as she leaned over to see her Cinderace and Sylveon walking over. Altaria landed on the ground as well as she was trying to reach her neck to be petted. Leona giggled as she was petting her. Her Arcanine also leaned in for petting. It seemed like her Pokémon were all happy to see her. As she continued, Joe and the others were looking at what was going on. He petted Zebstrika as he turned to the others, "It seems Leona is really enjoying this place."

Atticus nodded as he looked at her and how she interacted with her Pokémon, "If anything I might add, she is getting used to being in a region where it's a little different than Hoenn."

"True," said Lisa, "Every single region has its own perk!"

Grayson nodded as he turned to them, "Exactly."

Immediately, a burst of wind went through Grayson as he saw the trees rustle back and forth. Grayson turned to Leona as Leona began to get up from the grass. Leona knew something wasn't right.

"Something is up," she said, turning to the others.

Suddenly, their smartwatches started activating. Leona turned around as she activated her watch. Drake's voice was over the speaker.

"Sorry to disturb your lunch but it seems Ferro Fett is launching an attack in Floaroma Town."

"Let's get going!" said Leona, turning to the others, "I'll clean up here. You guys go."

"Are you sure?" asked Joe, looking at her.

Leona nodded as she and her Pokémon started cleaning up the area. Grayson took the Fossil Finder watch and placed it in his bag. Atticus nodded as he followed Lisa and Joe. Quickly, Leona's Pokémon managed to clean up the picnic area in seconds. Turning around, she looked at all of them, "Good job, team!"

"BARK!"

Arcanine jumped in front of Leona suddenly as a purple-black energy beam hit. Arcanine landed on the ground, knocked unconscious.

"Arcanine!" shouted Leona.

Suddenly, the smoke cleared as she turned around to see someone. A black aura surrounded the area as a mega-sized human appeared. He had golden and silver cuffs on his wrists and ankles. He had black and red wings that were deadly. The wings separated into tiny tails. He had golden armor with red eyes. He was basically a humanoid version of a Giratina. His eyes were bright red as he had a black book in his hand and carried a golden-black stripe staff, looking down at Leona with terror.

"So… you are the leader of the Dino Charge team. Another pathetic ranger team," he said.

"And who might you be?" she asked, looking at him.

"My name is Gircannon," he said.

"Gircannon… one of Ferro Fett's cronies?" asked Leona.

"Leona," a voice said.

Leona turned around as he saw Drake walking toward the conflict. Leona's Pokémon stood ready to fight but Drake shook his head, "Leona, let me handle this. He is not one to be messed with."

"But-," Leona said.

Drake stretched his hand out, noticing the fainted Arcanine. He turned around, "Trust me. Recall your Pokémon and head to Floaroma Town. Now!"

Leona froze, unsure what to do. Sure, she needed to go solve the mystery of what was going on. But, for Gircannon to strike her down without warning was something more important. Drake turned around as his eyes began to glow in a blue aura. Leona nodded as her Poké Balls were removed from her belt, recalling each one. Drake's eyes began to glow in a blue aura as she disappeared. He turned around as he looked at Gircannon.

"Now, who's your opponent?" asked Drake.

Meanwhile, in Floaraoma Town….

Joe and the others were running into the entrance of Floaroma Town. From what Joe could see, it was very hard to figure out where Drake was talking about. The town was beautiful with trees from different colors: like yellow, pink and even green due to the different types of honey that are on the tree. Each house had a purple, pink or yellow roof. From what he could tell, all was quiet.

"It is very quiet," Atticus said, "Where is the threat?"

"It's too quiet," said Joe, looking at the others.

Grayson nodded as he turned to the others, "Should we morph?"

"Nah, why waste a battery when there's no threat," said Joe, turning to the others, "We should investigate further anyway."

Lisa stepped forward, "Well, this town is very quiet and desolate. It wouldn't be that difficult to find what was going on. What if we split up?"

Joe nodded in response, "Agreed. Let's meet back here in an hour."

The four rangers nodded as they started walking in their own separate directions. As they continued to walk, Shockhound was watching from the trees. He turned around as he looked at Copysharp, who was sitting there happily, scratching his own nails with a nail file. Shockhound looked at him angrily, "This town could be easily destroyed if you didn't sit in the grass. Now, they are here!"

"Relax, it's all part of the plan," said Copysharp, snapping his fingers.

Four Mooks jumped out of the bushes as they landed on their own feet. Immediately, Copysharp began to use his right hand. A green aura surrounded them as they all transformed into human copies of the rangers. Shockhound turned around as he looked at Copysharp, "Go screw things up."

The Mooks nodded as they went through the bushes, heading into town. Copysharp turned to him as he looked at Shockhound, "Why strike when I can break them mentally? Once their teamwork falls apart, then… I go for the kill. Or they destroy each other."

Meanwhile…

Atticus was walking around the flowery portion of the town. As he was looking at the buildings, he was looking at the gardens of daffodils and violets that were blossoming. He grinned as he went to open the gate. He turned around as he was looking at the fence. Stepping over it, he turned around as he saw Grayson walk toward him. Grayson climbed over as he looked at him. From the looks of it, he was angry.

"What crawled up your butt and died?" asked Atticus.

"Simple. You. You are so old… you're making horrible old jokes. Old man," said Grayson in a serious tone.

"Excuse me?" asked Atticus, marching forward, "You are going to talk to me that way?"

While that was going on…

Grayson was sitting in the bushes, trying to do some recon as he tried to find something peculiar. As he had binoculars in his hand, he turned around as he went to climb on a tree. Wrapping his legs on the branches, he used his binoculars to look at the area.

"So far so good," said Grayson.

"Hey, coward!"

Grayson looked up, confused at what he had just heard. He shook his head as he continued to look at the area. Suddenly, he heard a voice again.

"Yo, I'm talking to you!"

Grayson looked down as he saw Lisa. Lisa had her arms crossed as she was looking at him upward. Grayson released his legs as he fell, landing on his feet. Grayson turned to Lisa as she looked at him.

"That's not like you to say that," said Grayson.

"Well, why don't you be a man and actually go out in the open to find that threat?"

Grayson narrowed his eyes as he went to punch her in the face. Lisa dodged it as she ran into the woods. Grayson stumbled as he marched out, chasing after her.

Then… (seriously another Meanwhile…)

Lisa was going through a building as she turned around to look at the area. As she was walking around the living room with a couch, she turned around as she started to examine the couch with her smartwatch. As she was doing that, she felt a caress her shoulder. She turned around and slapped him in the face. She looked to see Joe, who was on the ground.

"Joseph! How dare you!" shouted Lisa.

"You are very cute…," said Joe, grinning.

Lisa marched toward Joe as Joe started running out toward the exit. Lisa grumbled as she looked at the house, "This person needs to keep the door locked."

Then, again…

Joe was sitting at the Pokémon Center as he went to talk to other people. Doing interviews and figuring things out, he seemed that this was just a wild goose chase. Joe sat down at the park bench outside the center as he went through his notes. This was nothing. He then turned around as he saw Atticus, an angry Atticus to be exact.

"Why you so mad?" asked Joe.

"Simple, you hotshot. You split us up and all you do is sit on your butt. You are honestly the most prideful, selfish and untrustworthy ranger I have ever met."

"Excuse me," said Joe, looking up to him, "You are being very heartless right now."

"Speak for yourself… Mr. Know it All," he said, grumpily.

Atticus turned around as he walked away, heading toward the opposite direction. Joe went to follow him. As Joe walked toward the center of town, he thought he was following Atticus. As he turned to his right, he turned around as he looked at Atticus, this time with a different emotion. Clenching his fist, Atticus was punched in the face as Joe grabbed him to the ground.

"Whoa! What gives?" asked Atticus.

"What gives? You called me prideful!" shouted Joe.

Joe was pushed down as Atticus put his foot on his chest. Joe squirmed as he turned to Atticus, "I would never do that! Where's your buddy? He has some explaining to do. That little greenhorn…"

"Hey!" shouted Joe, sweeping Atticus to the ground, "Leave Grayson out of this."

Suddenly, Joe turned around as he felt someone grab his shirt. Joe turned around as he was getting a kick in a certain area. Cringing, Joe turned around as he landed on the ground. Atticus looked up to see Lisa with her foot up.

"What did he do?" asked Atticus.

"He wanted to do things while I was investigating a house," said Lisa, angrily as she folded her arms, "What a perv."

"What?" asked Joe in astonishment, realizing what Lisa was saying. That was the last thing he wanted to do, "I would NEVER do that."

"Easy for you to say," Lisa said, rolling her eyes.

Suddenly, Lisa turned around as she felt a blade toward her neck. Lisa turned to see Grayson, who had his Fossil Saber out, "You called me a coward? How about I give you a taste of my own medicine."

"I did not call you a coward!" shouted Lisa.

"You greenhorn… you will pay for calling me old," said Atticus.

"I didn't call you old," Grayson responded.

"Lies," shouted Atticus.

Immediately, all four of them started arguing like kids about everything. As the attacks of insults continued, golden electric bolts surrounded them as Shockhound arrived. Joe turned around as Shockhound looked at them with his saber out.

"Rangers," said Shockhound, "I got you where I want you."

"What does that supposed to mean?" asked Atticus.

"I don't know… but I am not selfish and I am not a perverted man! When this is done, I'm going out for a drink," said Joe, taking out his Fossil Charger. The others, saying nothing, grabbed their Fossil Chargers.

"Fossil Charger, energize!"

Activating their Fossil Chargers, the rangers did a little dance with their Fossil Blasters. Inserting the Fossil Chargers in the Fossil Blasters, the rangers held up their weapons.

Armaldo, Energize!

Carracosta, Energize!

Kabutops, Energize!

Bastiodon, Energize!

Spinning the Fossil Blasters, the rangers stretched their weapons to the sky, "Unleash the Power!"

Bursts of black, blue, green and pink energy shot out as their Prehistoric Pokémon transformed into their suits. The rangers then took out their Fossil Blasters to drag down their right shoulder.

"Dino Armor, engage!"

As their armor materialized, their individual weapons arrived. Joe turned around as he pulled the trigger, shooting with the Armaldo Blaster. Shockhound blocked it with the attack. He turned around as he went to strike Grayson. Grayson blocked with the Kabutops Slasher and then slashed him with the Fossil Saber. Atticus went to swing with the Carracosta Shield, only for Shockhound to release a yellow electric bolt, piercing his armor. Lisa used the Bastiodon Drill underground. As she dug toward Shockhound, Shockhound used his saber and released an electric pulse. Lisa screamed as she landed on the ground.

The four rangers stood together as Shockhound began to charge an attack. A yellow aura surrounded him as he raised his arm, "Howling Thunder!"

Striking down, four yellow bolts struck from the sky, hitting the four rangers. Stumbling, the four rangers landed on the ground. Explosions surrounded the area as the rangers flew out from the platform, landing on the dirt. Shockhound laughed as he noticed a struggling Joe. Joe looked up as he noticed Shockhound kicking him in the face…

Later that afternoon…

Leona started running into Floaroma Town. Taking a deep breath, she turned around to see that nothing was going on. All she saw were flowers blooming and random people walking around. She had a huge sigh of relief, especially after seeing what she saw just down the road. She continued to head toward the center of town. Looking up, she could see the ridges of the roof tops, smelling the aroma of honey as she turned to her left. As she turned around, her friends were all pushing and shoving each other. Leona looked surprised as she continued toward them.

"Hey guys!" shouted Leona, "You aren't going to believe what happened!"

As she got closer, she turned to see the four of them. Atticus turned around, noticing her. He backed away as he turned to her, "I'm so glad you're here."

"What do you mean? You went to investigate something while I almost got blown up," said Leona.

"Wait… what?" asked Grayson, turning around.

Leona turned around to see Lisa slapping Joe in the face as she looked up. Leona folded her arms across her chest as she looked at them, annoyed, "But, before I talk about that… what the hell happened to the four of you?"

"Well, maybe if you didn't leave us and go on your merry little way, you could've been able to figure it out. But, you are so optimistic… it makes me sick."

The anger of Joe's voice filled Leona's ears as she turned to him. Joe looked at her as Leona displayed no emotion or reaction. Atticus turned around as he looked at her, "Are you going to take that?"

Before he went to throw a fist, Leona blocked Atticus's hand, "I want to hear more."

"More?" asked Atticus.

"He looked at me very creepily," said Lisa, turning around, "Therefore, he gets a kick in the-."

Joe turned around as he looked at Lisa. He smacked her in the face as she turned to him. Atticus went to say something, only for Joe to punch him in the stomach, making him fall to the ground. Grayson turned around as he looked at Leona. Shaking his head, he walked over to grab him by the neck. Joe turned around as he threw a punch at Grayson. Leona turned around as Joe looked at her, "You are a failure for protecting us. It shows."

He turned around as he grabbed Leona's sapphire pendant, "Who gives a crap about this pendant?"

He threw it across the grass and withdrew his Fossil Blaster. Pulling the trigger, a black beam shot out, breaking it. Flames occurred as the other rangers stood there in possession. Leona stood there in silence as Joe laughed. Atticus turned to Grayson and Lisa as Leona stood there, "You called me a failure?"

Joe looked at Leona as he stepped toward her, "You really are petty…"

While that was going on, behind the bushes, Copysharp laughed as he was looking at what was going on. Shockhound stood there with excitement as he turned around, looking around, "You see Joseph… all we have to do is burn your friends to the ground. Mr. Hotshot…"

Joe was tied up with a white handkerchief around his mouth. Squirming he tried to move out. Shockhound laughed as he laid his sword on his face. Making a line across, a red line appeared on his right cheek as blood dripped. Joe looked over as Shockhound laughed. Joe turned around as he looked to see what was going on. Looking up, he then turned around as he saw Copysharp laugh, "That was easy kidnapping you after your friends were knocked out."

As he stood closer, Joe noticed that his feet were untied as he went to move a little. Copysharp laughed as he looked at him. Shockhound turned around as he looked at Copysharp, "My job is done… go ahead and let them battle it."

"But, the red ranger won't budge!" Copysharp stated.

Copysharp turned around as he looked at him. Turning around, he felt something. Looking up, Copysharp felt Joe's shoe as Copysharp tripped and fell. As he was in close proximity, Joe stomped on his leg with his heel.

"ARGGGHHHH!"

Immediately, the sound of Copysharp's voice filled the area as it went toward the others. Grayson turned around as he looked. He headed toward the thicket of the bushes. Looking, he saw Copysharp on the ground with Joe tied up.

"Joe!" whispered Grayson, turning around. Grayson grinned as he turned around as he looked at him. He withdrew his Fossil Blaster, shooting Shockhound quickly. Copysharp screamed as Grayson dashed over, untying Joe. Joe removed his handkerchief as he turned around. The two headed to the field. Lisa turned around as she looked at them, "Wait…"

Leona turned around as she looked at Joe, who was with Grayson. Grayson headed toward Leona, "Look who I found… the one not a pervert and an insulting twit!"

"I am the real Joe!"

Joe turned around as he looked at him. He revealed the pendant that Leona had. Leona stood in surprise as he looked at his imposter, "This pendant is impenetrable to a Fossil Blaster. Also, I wouldn't shoot down something that meant something so special."

"But… but…," he said.

"Zebstrika, Wild Charge!" he shouted, throwing the Poké Ball out. As Zebstrika emerged, electricity surrounded him as he tackled his imposter. The imposter yelled as yellow electricity surrounded him. Joe took out his Fossil Blaster and pulled the trigger. A black beam pierced through his body as a Mook arrived.

"Wait, a Mook?" asked Lisa.

Turning around, the rangers turned to see Copysharp arrive. Copysharp and Shockhound arrived as they turned to Leona. Leona walked over as she turned to Joe, "You see, Joe may be radical, but he knows his barriers. You gave us a bad name, Shockhound…"

"… I am surprised you're not dead yet," he said.

"Dead?" asked Joe.

"I'll explain later. Right now, let's Poké Battle!" shouted Leona.

"Fossil Charger, energize!"

Activating their Fossil Chargers, the rangers did a little dance with their Fossil Blasters. Inserting the Fossil Chargers in the Fossil Blasters, the rangers held up their weapons.

Tyrnatrum, Energize!

Armaldo, Energize!

Carracosta, Energize!

Kabutops, Energize!

Bastiodon, Energize!

Spinning the Fossil Blasters, the rangers stretched their weapons to the sky, "Unleash the Power!"

Bursts of red, black, blue, green and pink energy shot out as their Prehistoric Pokémon transformed into their suits.

"Tyrantrum! Dino Charge Red!"

"Armaldo! Dino Charge Black!"

"Carracosta! Dino Charge Blue!"

"Kabutops! Dino Charge Green!"

"Bastiodon! Dino Charge Pink!"

"Poké Rangers… Dino Charge!"

Shockhound stretched out his saber, raising it to the sky as a green aura surrounded them, "Mooks, destroy them!"

Immediately, a field of Mooks headed toward the rangers. As each ranger was able to grab a group of Mooks to fight, Leona turned around as she saw Shockhound head toward him. Shockhound struck his saber as Leona blocked the attack. Shockhound swung back and forth, backing away from Leona as she flipped backwards. Landing on the ground, she took out her Fossil Saber. Both swords clashed as she continued to back.

"You are going to regret this battle!" shouted Leona, looking at him.

"He should've killed you when you had the chance!" said Shockhound, turning around, "That plan didn't work."

Leona turned around as she looked at him, swinging his sword, "Who's Gircannon then?"

Shockhound grumbled as he pushed away, "None of your concern! Howling Thunder!"

Stretching his hand, a yellow wave of electricity surrounded his saber as he struck it in the air. Yellow waves of lightning pierced above her, striking down. Leona did a shoulder roll to dodge the attack. Leona grabbed a Fossil Charger and pressed it, placing it in the Fossil Saber while doing the roll. Jumping up, a red aura surrounded her saber.

"Tyrant Slash!"

Three red lines struck across Shockhound as Shockhound stumbled back. Explosions surrounded him as Leona stood with her saber. Shockhound turned around as he looked at her with anger, "This isn't over… red."

A yellow aura surrounded him as he disappeared. Turning around, Leona went to meet with the others. As she arrived, Leona froze. Copysharp did it for sure as she saw multiple copies of their own rangers. Joe flipped backward as he landed on the ground.

"Well… that's going to be tricky," said Leona, looking at Joe. Before she could fight, Joe put his hands up, "It's me! I got this…"

Joe reached for his helmet, "Infrared Mode!"

Pressing a green button, his visor began to have a red line that went vertically, going across. He turned around as he began to scan each ranger. Picking up Energy Crystal readings, he was able to pick out the originals. He turned around as he took out his Fossil Blaster and combined it with his Fossil Saber by folding the blade into the handle and attaching it to the blaster, "Fossil Blaster Max!.. Full Auto!"

Pulling the trigger, 100 blast rounds shot out within thirty seconds, piercing the imposters. As the rangers took cover, the Mooks were obliterated. As the Mooks disappeared, Copysharp started dashing toward him. Joe turned around as he pulled another set of rounds, destroying Copysharp. Copysharp screamed as he was hit in the face.

"Dino Armor, engage!"

As the rangers activated their armor, Leona stepped forward as she took out the Dino Spiker Fossil, "Let's do it!"

"Dino Spiker, engage!"

The weapons were thrown up in the air as well. The Tyrantrum Fang stood as the base. The Carracosta Shield was placed on top of the Tyrantrum Fang. The Armaldo Claw and Kabutos Slasher connected to either side of the blaster. The Basitodon Drill connected to the end. The Dino Spiker charger went inside the front of the blaster. A golden energy surge surrounded it as Leona grabbed it.

"Dino Spiker, Horn Drill!"

As the spiker was thrown, it turned into a horn as it started spinning. Tyrantrum, Armaldo, Carracosta, Kabutops and Bastiodon emerged out as it pierced the armor. The drill went straight through the armor and through his body. Copysharp screamed as he fell on the ground, exploding into pieces. The Dino Spiker began to glow as it separated, transforming back into their weapons.

"That's what you get for messing with our team!" shouted Leona.

The five rangers nodded as their weapons returned to them.

Meanwhile…

Gircannon dodged the blue waves of energy that surrounded Drake. Drake turned around as Gircannon charged forward in a rush of black energy. Stretching his claw, Drake was slashed as he landed on the ground. Drake turned around as Gircannon stomped his feet, releasing an explosion of earth power. Drake yelled as he landed on the ground. Drake fell on the dirt as Gircannon went to open his wings. Black and red tips pierced Drake as red energy surrounded him. Drake yelled as he felt weak enough. Gircannon laughed as he looked at him.

"You know… this is just a small taste of my power," he said.

"I know…," said Drake, looking up, "This was why you were exiled generations ago."

"Oh… sir," said Gircannon, laughing, "What you don't know."

"Well played," said Drake, looking at him, angrily. He looked over to see smoke in the distance, "Well, it looks like my rangers destroyed another monster of your boss."

Gircannon turned around as he laughed, "Well… I think it's time for Plan B."

"Plan B?" he asked.

"I'm not going the wipe the floor with you all just yet… Hoenn just got a taste of my power. Yes, I used my own means to destroy their zords… or at least, disable… but I had help."

"Help?" asked Drake.

Gircannon grinned as he opened a black and grey book. Placing his hand on the book, a red aura surrounded his body as a black and purple hole appeared underneath him. Looking up in anger, a black and purple expanse began to form. Drake noticed it. It was full of materials and things that were confusing.

"The Distortion World! What are you thinking?" asked Drake.

"Bringing back a friend of yours…," he said, "Aerodactyl!"

Drake looked up as he saw an Aerodactyl fly out of the expanse. Drake turned around as he looked at the material. It was a black Aerodactyl with purple stripes filled with energy. Aerodactyl screamed as purple beams struck Route 204. Drake yelled as he landed on the ground. Aerodactyl released a purple and black energy beam, destroying a line of trees. Drake turned around as Gircannon grinned.

"You see… Aerodactyl belongs to me… and your ranger friends won't be able to take it. This creature helped my creature burn Hoenn down to the ground… and if you keep making Ferro Fett angry, your Energy Crystals, your zords and your region will have the same fate! Don't test me!"

A purple aura surrounded him as he disappeared with Aerodactyl. Drake turned around as he looked over, "This is bad."

He looked up as he saw a green beam strike Floaroma Town, where Copysharp grew as well as a Giant Mook.

"Oh boy…," said Drake, "This is bad."

Meanwhile…

Copysharp, now mega-sized, turned to the Giant Mook as he used his hands. His hands touched either side of the Giant Mook as a yellow aura surrounded him, turning into Shockhound.

"Great…," said Lisa.

"That explains how he was able to create clones," said Grayson.

"Well, let's knock him down a peg or two," said Leona.

"Tyrantrum…"

"Carracosta…"

"Bastiodon… I choose you!"

The three rangers threw their Fossil Chargers in the air, enlarging as three robotic Pokémon emerged. Tyrantrum, Carracosta and Bastiodon started charging toward the area.

"Tri-Fossil Fusion!"

Immediately, Tyrantrum opened its mouth. Blue and pink energy surrounded Bastiodon and Carracosta as Tyrantrum ingested the energy. A red aura surrounded the Tyrantrum as the legs began to rise higher, seeing robotic feet. The Tyrantrum Zord roared as the upper body rotated, leaving the tail to be the left side and the head of the zord on the right. The Carracosta and Bastiodon jumped up. Carracosta shrunk its head, arms, legs into the shell. The tail transformed into the right hand of the Megazord. The Bastiodon raised its tail as it connected to the left side with its legs and arms shrinking, forming the left hand and arm of the Megazord. A human head popped out of the body. It was a silver head with a red helmet that looked like a Tyrantrum helmet. Green eyes glowed as it started jumping.

"Dino Charge Megazord, Battle Ready!"

The Dino Charge Megazord started moving toward its opponent in full force. As the left arm went across, Copysharp backed away as Shockhound's imposter arrived, blocking with the saber. The Dino Charge Megazord fell backwards as Shockhound continued to attack. Yellow lightning bolts struck the Megazord as it was hit. Explosions surrounded it as the team struggled.

Copysharp laughed as he grabbed the Dino Charge Megazord by the arm. Lifting it, the rangers were trying to break free from the attack.

"How do we get out of this?" asked Grayson, "He firmly grasped our arm!"

"I do have a plan…," said Leona, looking at Joe, turning around, "Where's that purple charger?"

"You mean… no… the one that smells like sulfur?" asked Joe.

"Yes! The Poison Gas Charger!" shouted Leona.

Joe muttered as he turned to the others. He then turned around as he looked at Lisa. Lisa nodded as she turned to Leona, "I am going to add on to that…"

Leona grinned as she held the Omastar Charger in her hand. Leona nodded as she turned to the others, "Get ready!"

"Got it," said Atticus and Grayson.

Joe gulped, "Cover your nose! Poison Gas, energize!"

Pressing the button, he threw the charger across. The Tyrantrum's mouth opened as a blast of green and purple gas emerged. Both creatures started coughing and weezing, inhaling the disgusting smell that surrounded the area. As the fog thickened, the Carracosta Zord detached and it was replaced with the Omastar Zord.

"Dino Spiker Megazord, Spike Cannon!"

Golden spikes pierced through the fog, piercing and destroying Shockhound's look-a-like. A green aura surrounded the creature as it exploded into pieces. Copysharp looked up as he turned to them, "No!"

An aqua aura surrounded the arm as a green crosshair appeared.

Inside the cockpit, the rangers pulled out their Fossil Blasters, "Dino Spiker Megazord, Cannon Bomber!"

Three aqua spikes pierced through the barrier, shooting down Copysharp. Copysharp screamed as he landed on his knees, falling to the dirt. Explosions surrounded the creature as the Dino Spiker Megazord landed on the ground.

Meanwhile, at Dino Paradise…

"Well, that will teach them not to mess with us!" said Leona, "Ruining our teamwork."

As she turned around to sit at the table, her eyes turned around to see Joe walk over with some information, "So, I spoke with someone in Hoenn who was able to analyze this."

"Really?" asked Leona, "And?"

Joe raised an eyebrow, "This pendant apparently has some clues… for some reason it has ancient text that can't even be transcribed."

Leona nodded as she received her pendant back. She was mesmerized, "I wonder what that could all be about."

She turned to her left, seeing Drake sitting down. He sat down as he looked at the table. Looking at the table, he shook his head as he looked at Leona. He looked up and turned around, heading away from them. Joe turned around as he looked at her, "He looks a little… injured. What happened while we were investigating?"

Leona rolled her eyes as she turned around. She got up from the chair as she saw a silver cooler that they recently bought, courtesy of Roark. As she grabbed two Black Persian beers from the chest, she headed toward him as he placed one on the table, "Alcohol in a ranger headquarters?"

"Well," said Leona, "Don't tell Drake, but, you will need to sit down."

Joe looked at her, "It seems that you know something."

"Well, Joe… I was about to fight someone that was a Giratina creature."

Joe's eyes grew as he looked at Leona. Joe leaned in as he looked at her, "Did you say he looked like a Giratina?"

"And he looked worse than Ferro Fett," said Leona.

Joe sighed as he turned to his beer, "Go on."

Meanwhile…

Shockhound turned around as he looked at his quarters. His place was a mess after he watched the whole battle with the rangers. Shockhound groaned as he turned to them, "I wanted to kill them with my own plan. Now, what am I going to do?"

He kicked a basket across the room, only to see Ferro Fett walk into the door. His face was stern cold as he turned to look at him.

"What do you want?" asked Shockhound, "I know you want to punish me."

"Believe me, I was going to…," said Ferro Fett, looking at the damage, "Cleaning up your mess looks like a better punishment right now. Did you call…"

"Yes, I did! I was tired of it! Tired of it!" shouted Shockhound, "Those rangers have destroyed every plan and any time we wanted an Energy Crystal, they have it! Now there are six energy crystals!"

"Seven…," said Ferro Fett.

"What do you mean seven?" asked Shockhound.

Ferro Fett walked over to give him a black and purple crystal. Shockhound looked at it as he turned to him, "What is the meaning of this?"

Ferro Fett walked out of the room. He led Shockhound with his right hand out the door. As the two were walking toward the loading deck, which was the bottom level, he walked down the silver stairs as Shockhound stood there. He stood there, gasping as he saw the Aerodactyl in the docking bay.

"No… way!" he shouted.

Next Chapter…

Shockhound is really excited about his new plot to destroy the rangers! Meanwhile, the team was doing patrol in Floaroma Town. There, rangers learn that Ferro Fett's army might be doing something drastic at Valley Windworks. Little do they know, that it was a trap! Can Grayson use his knowledge and smarts to save his friends and foil another plot?

Poké Rangers Dino Charge Chapter 9: A Game of Logic

A/N: So, who's Gircannon? Well, let's just say you are in for a great, interesting time. I'm not going to say too much about it, but let's just say you are in for a ride. Aerodactyl has been released! So… I wonder how all of this is going to work. Well, you are just going to have to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

Also, I realized it is about 12:15 EDT, so I am officially 15 minutes late with an update. I do apologize for not posting, it has been a whirlwind of a week. Actually, the term whirlwind is an understatement. I will hopefully be back to writing next week, depending on time. Shoutout to all who reviewed last week! Whoo-hoo and I did receive a Guest Star Form! I have to admit the Google Forms really helped me organize the characters, so feel free to send submit characters through it. Feel free to review!
