A/N: Here's another episode! I would like to apologize for waiting to post this. To be quite honest, 2024 hasn't been a great start and it has been tough trying to keep things a float, so please be patient with me.
It was time for yet another monthly meeting at Dino Paradise. All nine rangers were sitting around together as Drake was standing next to them. Roark and Professor Rowan, who were with them, were also watching what was going on. Professor Rowan was invited to join them after learning about the amazing discoveries of what energy crystals could do. It made sense for him to join them. After all, he had a discovery he wanted to unlock. He turned around as he looked at the screen. The rangers turned around as Jo walked toward a stone counter that stood next to one of the charging stations. She opened the box, revealing more chargers, four per ranger.
"Here are more chargers," said Jo, "With how things have been going, each ranger will have seven chargers."
"Seven chargers?" asked Grayson, looking at his own selection as he went to pick them out, "That's more than enough ammunition. But, why?"
"Simple…," said Thomas, turning to Grayson, "Demongun and his crew… we need to make sure we are in tip top shape, right Leona?"
Leona nodded as she looked at them, "Yup."
She turned around as she went toward her charging station. She placed the extra four chargers in the slot as well as her Tyrantrum Max Charger in the charging slot. She then turned around as she looked at the others, "With only one crystal left, we need to prepare ourselves for more."
"Yeah… wait the next crystal…," said Joe, turning to see the silver charger slot that was empty. He walked over, noticing the number 10 written in white letters. He then noticed an Archeops symbol on top, "Archeops is the next crystal?"
"Bingo…," said Jo, looking at him, "The only issue… it hasn't been active. You would think after nine crystals, they can all connect to the last one."
Kyland turned around as he looked at the others, "Now thinking about it, no sooner Joe and the others had received their crystals, the other crystals came quite quickly."
Mack nodded as he turned to them, "That is true."
He turned around to notice Drake was slumping in his chair. He yawned a little as he went to stand back up. Mack stood up from the chair as he headed toward Drake. Drake turned around as Mack went to speak. Drake shook his head as he went to walk away. Mack looked at him awkwardly as he went to another corridor of the room. He turned around as he looked at Leona, who stood there with concern.
"Don't be concerned, princess. Drake should be okay," said Mack.
"That's what worries me, Mack. I've noticed he's been fatiguing lately… ever since what happened in Sunyshore," said Leona.
Mack turned around, "Are you sure?"
"I know it," said Leona, turning to Mack, "I sense it."
As she stepped forward to walk, she turned around, freezing in response as she saw someone surprising. A man walked down the stairs of Dino Paradise. The other rangers turned around as they raised their Fossil Blasters. Mack turned as he grabbed his Golden Amber Saber. The man had some scruff on his chin with dark black and silver hair on the sides. He had emerald eyes and blue framed glasses. He had a black dress shirt with a white lab coat and white pants with brown shoes. Leona knew who he was instantly.
"Drop your weapons, guys," said Leona.
"Why?" asked Grayson, aiming at him, "How did he get in here?"
"Damien Sinclair… it's nice to meet you," said Professor Rowan.
The rangers slowly turned around in response. Professor Rowan walked over toward the front of the room where he held his hand out, "Professor Sinclair has been notified of all the work you have been doing. And now learning about everything, I thought it would be awesome to invite him."
"Professor Sinclair… that means," said Joe, turning to Leona. Leona grinned as she turned around, "Yup… this is my dad!"

Chapter 30: Forged Under Fire Part 1
Oreburgh City…
After an hour of introduction, Damien thought it would be nice to take her daughter for a bite to eat. Leona picked a nice café, right outside the Oreburgh Mine, where they were having some tea. Leona's Pokémon were running free as she turned around to talk to Damien, who was very excited to know more.
"So…," said Damien, "It seems like my girl is all grown up now. A Poké Ranger fighting?"
Leona looked at him. Raising an eyebrow, she turned around as she went to sip her tea, "How about we cut to the chase, dad."
"Hmm… what's wrong?" asked Damien.
"Simple…," said Leona, looking at her energy crystal, "What is the actual reason why you're here? Not that I don't want you here, it's nice to see you… but, the fact you were able to get into Dino Paradise…"
Damien was silence as he went to finish his tea, "Leona, when I found you, I met Drake personally."
Leona looked up in response. Damien said nothing as he went to continue, "He told me that once things started to come together, to come to Sinnoh. But, I didn't understand at the time either. Drake is a unique individual… it's like he was able to go through time and dimensions in a flash… and I remember he was weak… weak from all the running."
"Running?" asked Leona.
20 years ago…
Damien was climbing on Mt. Coronet, climbing each rock as he was trying to make it to the top. His goal: learning more about the secrets of what was at the top. As he got his right leg on top. He looked up to see a snowy path. The winds were picking up as the winds were battering back and forth. As he did, he looked up as he noticed some crying… sounds of a baby to be exact. As he walked toward the louder screams, Damien knelt down as he saw a baby in a swaddling, red blanket with a man covered in snow. Damien withdrew one of his Poké Balls. Releasing it, a Graveler appeared.
"Graveler, dig a hole… we need to make a cave! Quickly!"
Within two minutes, Graveler was able to make a hole enough to create a mini secret base. As he dragged Drake and grabbed the baby in his arms. As he carefully jumped down with the baby in arms. He landed on the ground with his feet as he released another Poké Ball, revealing a Venusaur.
"Venusaur, use your vines to grab the man from the top!"
Venusaur used its vines quickly, wrapping the man as he was lowered down. No sooner he was lowered, Damien withdrew another Poké Ball. Opening it, a Blaziken appeared.
"Blaziken!" he shouted, grabbing two logs from his backpack, "Flamethrower!"
Blaziken released a stream of flames as the logs were caught on fire. Immediately, Damien went to nursing the man that was on the ground. He then turned around as he heard the baby crying. Damien walked over as he noticed the baby whining in tears. He turned around as he looked at him and then at her. He held her in his arms, "It's going to be okay… you're safe now."
Hours passed as he was able to take shelter. The cave was getting a little warmer. Damien was able to feed the baby and the man was slowly waking up. As he got up, he turned around as he went to talk to him.
"Where am I?" he asked, tired.
"Welcome to Sinnoh," he said, "You and your child had an interesting time. How dare you leave your baby up here in this weather?"
"We just landed here," he said.
"I HIGHLY doubt you did…," said Damien.
No sooner he said that, there was a sound from the back. His Pokémon shuddered as they stood in front of Damien. Damien turned around as he went to look up. Gulping, he noticed a gigantic Crobat swooping down with a few more Golbat around it. Guess when he dug the cave, he disturbed a nest. As they were surrounding them, the man stood up as he stretched his hands. A blue aura surrounded his hands as a flash of energy appeared. The Crobat and the Golbat screamed as they ran away. Damien stood there, frozen as he turned around. He never expected an ordinary man to do that.
"How did you-?" he asked.
"That's not important," he said, looking at Damien, "I do have to ask you… please keep Leona in your care."
"Leona in my care? Why?" asked Damien, "My fiancé and I are not ready to have kids and no offense, she's yours."
"She isn't mine. My name is Drake, the Keeper of the Energy Crystals and I was also the guardian of the Dinosaur Kingdom… until Ferro Fett destroyed it all. I teleported through time and dimensions to get far away and to save Leona. Please… and in time, all of the answers will come into place."
"What answers?" he asked.
"That is something I can't tell you," said Drake, "At least not yet."
He reached into his pocket as he withdrew a ruby pendant. As he handed it to Damien, a red aura surrounded it, "When the time is right, you will be able to access a place where your questions will be answered."
Present Day…
"So…," said Damien, looking at the ruby pendant in his hand, "This pendant was the reason why I was able to access Dino Paradise. I had no idea that what Drake had in store, but I sensed to be called for a reason… and your pendant matches mine."
Leona turned around as she looked at her pendant. As she looked at it, she turned to Damien as Damien nodded, "For some reason, there are other pendants like this scattered all over Sinnoh."
"But, I thought the crystals were to unlock something," said Leona, looking at her crystal. Damien turned to her as he shook his head, "But, the other pendants also play an important role."
He reached into his brown bag that he carried around with him. As he opened it, Leona stood in surprise. There were pendants in different colors. Each color was reacting to theirs as Damien looked up, "There's at least six in there."
"I wonder… Joe knows people. He's been examining these… he can help us," said Leona, turning to her father. Damien nodded as he collected the orbs, "Look, I need to go do some things. Feel free to take these."
Leona nodded as Damien kissed her on the cheek and gave her a hug, "Love you!"
"Love you too," said Leona, watching Damien walk away. Leona looked down as she turned to her pendant. The pendants, the crystals… things weren't adding up. She then turned around as she reached for her Dino Com. Pressing the button, "Leona to Dino Paradise…"
"This is Jo," Jo's voice was overheard as she was doing something in the background.
"Where's Drake?" asked Leona.
"He just left for Mt. Coronet a while ago," said Jo.
Leona nodded as she closed her Dino Com. She grabbed the bag of pendants and headed straight toward Mt. Coronet. There were some questions she wanted answered.
Later...
Drake climbed to the top of the snowy portions of Mt. Coronet. Even though it was sunny and bright, the winds were treacherous as the wind whipped through his hair. He continued walking across, seeing where everything was from the last time. As he was walking along the mountain range, he couldn't help but look at the hole that stood. Kneeling down, he looked at it as he began to think about what happened. From traveling through time and making sure things were good, he turned around as he heard some footsteps. Drake looked over as Leona arrived. She wore a brown jacket as she was walking toward him. Drake turned around to stand as she stopped walking.
"Leona… how are you?" asked Drake.
"I was going to ask you the same question," the red ranger replied, looking at the cave, "I didn't expect you to land here."
"Well, it was a great place to go at the time."
Leona turned around as she looked at him, "Do you know exactly where we are at in Mt. Coronet?"
Drake grinned as he looked at her, "So… you do you know."
"Don't think I don't know about Mt. Coronet. The legend is still a myth," she said, walking toward the area, "This is the mountain where the epicenter of time and space exists. On the other side of this ridge is the Spear Pillar."
Drake said nothing as Leona walked forward, "So… I also wanted to know something."
Drake turned around as Leona picked up a bag. As she reached the bag, she reached for multicolored stones that looked exactly like the pendant Leona carried. Drake turned to her as he saw a reaction coming from Leona's pendant. Leona went to speak, "From what I saw, these were all identical."
"And…?" asked Drake.
"And… something tells me when we find the last crystal and the rest of the pendants, Dialga will be found. You know that Dialga is a legendary Pokémon…" Leona said, "Right?"
Drake said nothing again as he went to turn to her, "Leona, Dialga can control all time. I can only go through dimensions through time."
"If so, then why do you need the pendants so badly? Why do you need the crystals?" asked Leona, looking at Drake, "I know you've been weakened since you teleported here."
Drake turned to her as Leona continued, "Did you also notice that even though Dialga is a legendary… the physiology is the same as a Prehistoric Pokémon? It may not be a dinosaur, but it has the similarities as the other Pokémon…"
"What are you trying to say?" asked Drake.
"The only explanation of me heading through time was Gircannon was not after the crystals… he's after you. He's after me. Drake, as my mentor, with how things are going, what's really going on?"
Drake turned to Leona as she walked closer. Leona placed her hand on his shoulder. In response, Drake shrugged it off, "I can't tell you."
"You must be the keeper of not just the crystals, but Dialga as well. And because I'm the only heir, Gircannon wants to end me and you to tap into Dialga's true power. Am I right?" asked Leona.
Drake turned around and looked at her with a cold stare, "You have no right to make that conclusion."
"But, it adds up…," said Leona, looking at him, "My father is confused. He wasn't expecting to raise me. But, he wanted to help you. Professor Rowan was also doing research about this, which is why I decided to help… before I was a ranger, I was going to find fossils to help them figure out the secrets. Now, I know what's going on… and you being defensive proves my point."
"Leona," said Drake, raising his hand. A blue aura surrounded his right hand, "Like I said, I can't tell you. Time will tell. In the meantime, I need you back in Jubilife City…"
Snapping his fingers, a blue aura surrounded Leona as she disappeared. Drake turned to look down as he went to get up. He shook his head as he went to walk away, "Leona, you know way too much…"
Jubilife City…
Huntvantula laughed as she took out her crossbow. Pulling the trigger, black and yellow arrows pierced buildings as explosions surrounded them, creating surges of electricity. She laughed as she continued her onslaught. Her orders were to seek and destroy. As she was firing more arrows, Cremelia laughed as she walked over with a new weapon. Cremelia turned around as Huntvantula ceased fire, amazed at the blaster. It was a pink submachine gun with white stripes on either side that could be held with a black strap. She also had red and pink bullets that were in white cartridges. As she placed the cartridge into the gun, she turned around as Huntvantula watched. As people started running, Cremelia released the safety bolt and released a stream of cake batter. As the batter hit the ground, pink electric surges surrounded it as the ground exploded. Laughing, Cremelia turned around as she looked at Huntvantula, "This was brilliant!"
Demongun, who was watching, walked over toward them as he grabbed a silver music stand with a microphone attached to it, "Are you ready to sing the city to control?"
"As long as we got our click tracks… we did get people away from here," said Cremelia, laughing.
"You blew them up…," said Huntvantula, looking at Cremelia.
"Excellent. Let's control the rest," said Demongun. Maracturne laughed as he looked at them, "I just hope you can play as well as you can shoot."
Demongun turned around as he grabbed his pistol. Pressing the button, a red aura surrounded as it transformed into a ruby trumpet, "Try me..."
As he went to buzz his lips into the trumpet, he felt nothing but air. Releasing his lips, he noticed that his valves were stuck, "Darn it… the valves are stuck."
"Oh, look who decided to crash a beautiful day!"
The villains turned around as Leona and the others arrived in the center. Leona crossed her arms as Joe, Lisa and Atticus grabbed their Fossil Blasters. Mack withdrew his Golden Amber Saber and Grayson had his Fossil Saber out. Demongun laughed as he looked at the rangers, "So, what are you doing here?"
"You interrupted are very important conversation," said Leona, "But, to handle you guys is going to be a piece of cake."
Huntvantula laughed as she stretched her crossbow, "Shut up!"
As she released a black and yellow arrow, Joe and Atticus pulled the trigger. Blasts pierced the arrow as it exploded into pieces. Joe turned around as he grabbed a violet charger, Jo's charger specifically. Atticus grabbed a grey charger and Lisa had an aqua charger. Pressing them, the rangers placed them in their Fossil Blasters.
"Tri-Fossil Blast!"
Spinning the blaster, the rangers released the weaponry. Omastar, Rampardos and Aurorus struck out of their blasters, hitting the area. Flames appeared as Huntvantula began to grow. Using the Magna Beam, a green aura struck Huntvantula as Huntvantula continued its onslaught. Before the others could do anything, a gigantic Omastar and Rampardos arrived to combat. Leona turned around as Kyland and Thomas arrived.
"We'll take care of that spider creature!" said Kyland.
Leona turned around as she looked at the others, "Rangers, let's go!"
The eight rangers stood together as they took out their Fossil Chargers, "Fossil Charger, Energize!"
Pressing the buttons, their energy crystals began to glow as energy went into their charger. The rangers did their dance as they spun around, placing the Fossil Chargers in their blasters.

Bastidon, Energize!
Aerodactyl, Energize!
Omastar, Energize!
Rampardos, Energize!
Spinning the blaster, the rangers stretched out their Fossil Blasters, "Unleash the Power!"
Pulling the trigger, eight beams of light swirled around as their suits appeared. The rangers turned to strike a pose. Kyland and Thomas headed into Omastar and Rampardos to fight Huntavantula. Huntavantula turned around, placing a new green cartridge in her crossbow. Pulling the trigger, green lines of energy struck, hitting Omastar and Rampardos. The green lines of energy hit the zords on impact, creating a spider web like formation. A yellow electrical surge surrounded the zords. Kyland and Thomas hung on as they were hit.
"Spike Cannon!" shouted Kyland.
Spikes emerged out of Omastar, piercing Huntavantula. Huntvantula turned around as she released an electrical pulse from her blaster. A surge of yellow lightning energy surrounded the area as Omastar was hit. Rampardos was trying to break free from the spider webs, only for Huntvantula to strike the zord down. Rampardos was thrown down to the ground, landing on the building.
Down below, Leona and the others faced the villains. Leona and Mack fought Demongun on one side while Lisa and Atticus dealt with Cremelia on the other side. Joe and Grayson were fighting Maracturne in one location. Leona turned around as she struck Demongun with her Fossil Saber. Striking Demongun, Demongun blocked as he pulled the trigger, shooting Leona down. He then turned around as Mack was dashing forward with his Golden Amber Saber in hand.
"Thunder -."
He was interrupted when Demongun pulled the trigger on his weapon. A flaming sphere of energy hit Mack as he was hit. Explosions appeared as he landed on the ground. Leona turned around as she looked at Demongun, "In this case… Tyrantrum, I Choose You!"
Reaching into her battery chargers, she took out the Tyrantrum Max Charger. Pressing the button, a white and red energy surrounded it, "Tyrantrum Max Charger, Energize!"
A white aura surrounded the charger as she threw it across. Within seconds, Tyrantrum opened its mouth and absorbed it. Immediately, a red aura surrounds Tyrantrum as it shrunk into a miniature size. Tyrantrum jumped up as it transformed into a red pistol. As the blaster opened, she withdrew her Fossil Charger, "Fossil Charger, Energize!"
As she pressed the Tyrantrum charger, she placed it in the Tyrantrum Max Blaster. A red aura surrounded her as her ranger suit appeared. A golden aura surrounded her body as a Tyrantrum emerged from behind her. A red aura surrounded her armor as a Tyrantrum face was placed on her chest. It was gold with green eyes. She also had gold armor on her shoulders. Turning around, she also had gold spikes on her helmet as her visor had green and ruby lines.
"Tyrantrum Max! Dino Super Charge Red!"
Demongun laughed as he looked at her appearance. He shook his head as he placed his hand on his head, "You think that YOU can do the same thing you did to Shadownobi? I'd like to see you try."
"Bring it on!" Leona shouted, channeling her blaster as she headed straight toward Demongun. As she turned around, Demongun laughed as a red aura surrounded him, vanishing. Leona turned around as he disappeared. Immediately, the other villains turned around as they disappeared. Instantly, the rest of the rangers regrouped.
"What in the world?" asked Leona, "We were about to go at it."
"The fact that all of the villains left right away was fast…," said Joe, turning to the others, "Just a random attack?"
Leona looked up, "We've been had."
Joe turned to look at her, "What makes you say that?"
"Demongun would've attacked us by now. Cremelia and Maracturne retreating is no surprise, but why him?" asked Leona, "Unless, we were supposed to be drawn away by something…"
"You mean… we fell into their trap," said Atticus.
Leona nodded slowly. She turned to Mack as Mack nodded, walking toward her, "Where's Drake?"
"The last time I saw him… he was in Mt. Coronet," said Leona, sighing. She then looked up instantly as she realized something. She reached for her Dino Com, "Jo, Roark?"
"This is Jo… why aren't you helping Kyland and Thomas? They are getting their butts handed."
Leona turned around to see Rampardos and Omastar get hit. As the two zords started working together, a violet aura of energy surrounded them as Aurorus arrived to strike. Leona turned around, "Demongun retreated… so did the others. Where is Drake?"
"He's still at Mt. Coronet. Why?" asked Jo.
"That explains everything," said Leona, turning off the Dino Com. She turned to the others, "You guys form your Megazords and fight Huntvantula. I need to get to Mt. Coronet."
Before the rangers could do anything, green and yellow beams struck the rangers. As explosions appeared, Leona and the others flew across, landing on the ground. Quickly, Leona started heading toward the exit only for a green and yellow net to catch her. Leona was caught as she was electrocuted, landing on the ground. She turned around as she used her Tyrantrum Blaster, releasing a red beam of energy. Huntvantula blocked it with her crossbow, reflecting the beam back on the ground.
"Sorry, but no one leaves…" she said.
"I guess we will have to fight her…," said Joe, "This is a trap."
The six rangers stood together as the other rangers threw their Fossil Chargers in the air, releasing the other zords. Leona changed the Tyrantrum Blaster to a zord and inserted the Fossil Charger. A red aura surrounded Tyrantrum as it grew mega sized. The other rangers nodded as they all arrived in their cockpits.
"Let's finish this quickly!" Leona said as she placed her saber in the holster.
Meanwhile at Mt. Coronet…
Drake was heading toward the stairs, heading toward the mountaintop. Looking up, he noticed the snowy stairs that headed up the mountain. He knew exactly where he was going. He climbed up the stairs, seeing the ancient ruins. As he did so, he looked at the tall towers. He gulped as he looked at the triangle that appeared in the center. He turned around as he looked at the brown bag, "Once I get the ten crystals and the rest of those pendants, I can finally save this place."
As he went to stand in the center, he heard the sound of something grim. Black and purple waves surrounded Drake as he fell to the ground. Screaming, he turned around as he noticed Demongun with his trumpet like gun, playing some notes, "Having fun, Drake?"
"You knew I was here," he said, "Why?"
"Simple. I knew you were vulnerable. I lead your rangers into a trap with Huntvantula, so I can deal with you personally."
Drake turned around as he stretched his left hand out. A silver blade appeared with a blue handle on it. He turned around as he went to stretch it toward Demongun, "You lay a finger on my rangers, I will certainly kill you myself."
"With what power… Drake?" he asked, "Gircannon told me it all. I am going to make sure that your true form doesn't come out."
Ferro Fett's Ship…
"Joe and Grayson did it now," said Maracturne, looking at his violin. During the scuffle, Grayson and Joe cut a few of his strings. As he was working on fixing the violin and getting his weapons ready, he was suddenly interrupted by Lionel, "Zip it, Maracturne."
Lionel grabbed his blades as he turned around, "How did the control thing go?"
"Huntvantula accidentally messed up shooting others… but we did get a small sample," said Cremelia, "The waves could last a little bit with just vocals, guitar and violin alone with Demongun's trumpet."
"Good," said Lionel, turning to them, "Gircannon said we need enough controlling music to control Drake… unleash his true power from the power of Gircannon's energy waves."
"Wouldn't it be easier to make a device?" asked Turnchou, looking at Shockhound. Shockhound shook his head as he turned to Turnchou, "You know Gircannon. He wants us to think outside the box. After all, the rangers are too smart for their own good. Maybe using some of Gircannon's power will be easier."
Maracturne turned around as he finished turning. Shockhound turned around as he grabbed a guitar with black and yellow lightning bolts. Turnchou turned around as he went toward a black keyboard with blue stripes. As the villains all got their sound checks, Lionel went to the bridge as he pressed a few buttons on the ship.
"Z-Wave ready," said Lionel, hopping on the drum set, "Shall we?"
As the drums started going, Turnchou headed toward the keys and started playing the few chords. As the chord progressions got thicker with more instruments, Lionel turned to his right as he pressed a green button on the device next to the drum set. The waves of sound began to channel as Cremelia began to sing.
Outside the ship, a purple beam began to charge as it headed straight out of the dimensional rift.
Meanwhile…
Drake slashed Demongun multiple times, but with every strike, Demongun dodged the attack. Demongun turned around as he grabbed a white saber, slashing Drake across. Drake flew across as he landed on the ground. Demongun went to strike, only for Drake's eyes to glow in a blue aura. He threw his saber up in the air as a blue aura surrounded it. Demongun laughed as he went to strike, only for Drake to kick him down. A blue aura surrounded his whole body as his sword began to charge.
"Roar of Time!"
A blue vortex surrounded his saber as he struck across. The vortex headed straight toward Demongun as he slashed across, breaking it.
"How?" asked Drake.
"You are still weak!" he said, laughing. He turned around as he looked in the air, a purple beam of music was heading toward Mt. Coronet. Demongun laughed as he grabbed his trumpet. Channeling it, he turned around as he snapped his fingers. Black and green chains wrapped around Drake as he turned to him.
"And now… feel Gircannon's power…," he said, buzzing into his lips.
Drake began to charge energy in his body as he tried to stop the attack, but the waves and energy were too powerful as he got weakened by the attack. Purple waves surrounded him as Drake was channeled with shadow like energy.
Back in Jubilife City…
The Fossil Charge Megazord went to strike Huntvantula down. Huntvantula was hit in the face, only to strike the Megazord with her crossbow. As green beams hit it, Huntvantula looked up as the Aero Shotgun Megazord started shooting Huntvantula down. Huntvantula blocked and rolled across. Omaster and Rampardos went to strike the creature down with Aurorus shooting down beams. Huntvantula screamed as she was hit. As she went to land on the ground, Huntvantula looked up as the zords were heading toward her.
"Hahaha… I think we're good for now," said Huntvantula, "Thanks for playing!"
A yellow aura surrounded her as she disappeared. Joe turned around in the cockpit of the Aero Shotgun Megazord, "Well, we better head to Mt. Coronet!"
Jo, who was standing in the Aurorus cockpit nodded in response, "Agreed. I do see a disturbance up there. By the Spear Pillar?"
"Spear Pillar…," said Mack, looking at Grayson and Joe.
Atticus nodded in response in the Fossil Charge Megazord, "The Spear Pillar is where Dialga, Palkia and Giratina were created. Not many people know the entrance of where the Spear Pillar is due to it being sealed off after Team Galactic's schemes years ago. It's also where the Temple of Sinnoh is located."
Leona looked down and then up, "I know exactly why Drake was up there… and I fear something bad happened. Can we get to the Spear Pillar?"
"We can," said Atticus, looking at Leona, "But, where the opening is, that's a mystery."
Jo turned around in her cockpit, "Let's head there right now. Atticus, do you know how to get to the top?"
"No…," said Atticus. Leona turned around, "I do."
Atticus and Lisa looked at Leona as she stepped forward, "We can teleport to the place where I was brought into this world."
Five minutes later…
Flashes of teleportation surrounded them as they arrived on the mountain top. The rangers were unmorphed, yet freezing as Atticus turned around, "This is where you left off? I thought it was the beach."
"So did I…," said Leona, looking at Atticus. Grayson gulped as he was shivering. Lisa looked over as she noticed footprints from the snow. Kneeling down, she looked up as she released her Poké Ball, "Go, Meganium!"
As her Poké Ball was released, Meganium arrived as she looked at her. Lisa looked up, "Can you smell the scent?"
Meganium knelt as she smelled the footprints. The aroma was emerging as Meganium nodded. Unlike Grayson's Meganium, Lisa's is able to identify different scents, which helps her when she creates aromatherapy products. Meganium lead the way as the rangers followed. As they were walking, Jo turned around as she was looking up at the mountain, "I can't believe you were here."
Grayson walked over to Leona as she was silent for some of the time. The rest of the rangers were somewhat complaining by trying to pass the time. Grayson turned to her as he went to speak, "So, what happened with you and Drake anyway?"
"Besides the fact that my father showed up and I learned there's a probability Drake is more than just 'the keeper'… I don't know," said Leona.
"What do you mean more than a keeper?" asked Grayson.
"I basically time traveled…," said Leona, looking at the green ranger, "And only one Pokémon… specifically has the essence of time. If my cards play out right…"
"Wait, no…," said Grayson, "You can't be serious."
Joe, hearing their conversation, walked over, "Well, in Hoenn… Rayquaza had a human form before Mariah trapped him in his Pokémon form. Maybe Drake could be Dialga!"
Atticus shook his head as he turned around, "I don't believe that."
Mack turned around as he looked at Atticus, "After all, that's happened, Atticus. Do you think it's not surprising? If he was able to teleport between dimensions, he could teleport between time frames."
As the team headed toward another cave, the rangers were walking through the mountains. There wasn't a single wild Pokémon in sight. As they were heading up the stairs, Joe stopped walking. He looked up as he saw the ancient text on the wall. As the rangers stopped, Joe noticed his energy crystal shining. The other crystals started shining as well as he looked up. He couldn't believe the paragraph carved. He turned around as he noticed more pictures. One picture had a blue orb split into five pieces. The other was a lavender orb and it was split among five different prisms. The other was a white orb with five golden sabers. Finally, there was a golden orb that tied it together.
In the center was the ten energy crystals. Joe immediately reached for his phone camera to take the photo, "This is amazing!"
"There's a prophecy…," said Jo, turning to the others, "I am sure we will know more in time."
Joe nodded as he turned to Leona. As the crystals continued to glow, they reached a part of the tunnel where it was sealed. However, Atticus noticed that there was a crack in the end. Thomas stood in front as he closed his eyes. A blue aura surrounded his hand as the rocks began to crumble. The exit out of the cave appeared. As the rangers were climbing out, they stood to see the temple.
"This is the Spear Pillar?" asked Kyland, "Wow…"
Jo turned around as she was looking at the area. She then turned to see red dots on the ground. Looking up, there's a trail. As the rangers were heading up toward the stairs, the rangers noticed a few burnt marks on the ground. The rangers knelt as Leona noticed a silver saber on the ground.
"Drake…," she said, looking at it.
As Leona looked up, a blast of shadow energy surrounded them as the rangers landed on the platform. Leona turned around as the others struggled to get up from the attack. Atticus looked at who they were facing in disbelief. The rangers were also in disbelief as he stood there. He wore navy armor with a black orb attached to the chest. He had blue stripes around his legs and arms. His helmet was navy with blue spikes. His eyes were red as he stretched his arm. The saber retracted toward him.
"… Drake, is that you?"
Immediately, Drake stretched his hands. A blue aura surrounded their necklaces as the crystals were taken. Leona went to get them, only for a shadow force to appear. Gircannon stood in front of them as the rangers landed on the ground.
"You were behind this, weren't you?" asked Gircannon.
"It was the perfect plot too!" said Gircannon, "Using my villains' talents, Huntvantula, Demongun… they all lured you into a trap. And now, I have Drake… who has now taken your crystals."
Thomas looked at Gircannon as he went to speak, "Your plan was to turn Drake evil. You knew he needed all ten crystals."
"Well… not just for him… you see… once he gets all ten crystals, his true power will be revealed. However, because of how weak he is, protecting the last princess of the Dinosaur Kingdom and jumping dimension and times, it was the perfect opportunity to control him. And now, he will work for me. Those crystals you are after…," Gircannon said, looking at him, "Will now serve me as I plot my revenge on this world."
Leona turned around as she used her Fossil Charger, "Fossil Charger, energize!"
As she went to press, Gircannon stretched his hand and grabbed the battery from her, slashing it. The rangers stood in shock as Gircannon laughed. He then snapped his fingers as he saw the six batteries in each ranger pocket. Snapping his fingers again, all of the batteries exploded. Gircannon laughed as he looked at them, "You are going to have to do better than that. Come on Drake… we got some bigger fish to fry."
Drake stared them down as he turned away, grabbing the crystals. The rangers stood in disbelief as he walked away, leaving the area. Leona looked down as she saw the damage to the chargers. Who knows how long it will take for the chargers to be repaired…

Drake met his doom and the rangers are faced with a very important task. However, the rangers get a message from a former mentor to search for him. Can the rangers work together to bring back Drake and stop the triple threat?
Poké Rangers Dino Charge Chapter 31: Forged Under Fire Part 2
A/N: So… this was an interesting cliffhanger. In the original draft, there was supposed to be a zord fight, but I wanted to really open up the character and release as much as I could on to this plot. In addition, you are probably wondering what in the world is that diagram that Joe found? Well, you will know more and more as we get closer to the series. Right now, though, how will the rangers find Drake? Well, that's a story for another day.
I hope that this cliffhanger won't be held for long! I should probably start finishing the season. I'm only 13 chapters out in drafting. Reviews are recommended!
