Dino Paradise…
For Joe Cartwright and Jo Holiday, the fact they can finally sit and go through the fossil search has been a blessing. It has been a week, a literal week since Gircannon's plot and two weeks since they found Leona. It was literally a slippery slope that lead to stress. Luckily, it has been nice for a change. The two rangers were sitting alongside each other, looking at the crystalized pendants Damien left. He was surprised as he looked at Leona's that was on the table. Jo analyzed each one. There were about 14 of them. She was very surprised looking at them as she looked at the Pokémon Type map.
"You think you figured it out?" asked Joe.
"Yeah… I thought this would relate to the fossil chargers, but it looks like these pendants represent a Pokémon Type," said Jo.
"Are you sure they are not like the plates?" asked Joe, turning to her.
"Oh no, the plates are flatter… and it would not be relevant," said Jo, looking at it. She placed the pendants together. As she did, she noticed that some pendants started to glow. For example, there was a red one that was attached to an orange one and then attached a different pendant, such as a lime and teal. She looked at them, "We have a fire, water, flying, electric, fighting, bug, fairy, grass, poison, steel, dark, normal, ground and ghost pendants. This was from the remains that was found from Damien, Drake, Leona and Professor Rowan."
"But, why would the tenth crystal be a key to this?" asked Joe.
"Well, that's what I wanted to know. If we want to revive Drake to full power and get Archeops, this is what we are going to have to do," said Jo, "We need the rock, psychic, ice and dragon pendants."
Ferro Fett's Ship…
Turnchou was grinning as he wiped down his pendant that was identical to the other pendants. He turned around as he grinned, looking at Lionel as he walked through. He stopped, noticing the pendant. He looked over as he turned to Turnchou, "I have seen this before."
"Oh yeah, I found it in battle in the Hoenn Region… apparently, it was identical with Leona's," said Turnchou, looking at him, "Why do you ask?"
"I think they are all connected. I saw something…," said Lionel, "When Drake was supposedly dead."
Flashback to last chapter…
Stretching out his saber, Lionel went charging in. As he did, a golden aura surrounded the crystals behind him. Lionel screamed as he dropped the saber. The crystals surrounded the rangers as the batteries floated from their pockets. The batteries for their morphers repaired itself as the energy crystals charged with power. As the rangers collected them, they noticed that the power was flowing through them.
"That bag of stones… is actually the source of Drake's power," said Lionel, grabbing Turnchou's pendant. Before Turnchou could scream, Lionel stopped him by squeezing his mouth, "If we can get the other stones, we can use this to stop the rangers…"
"I heard that!"
Lionel turned around, overhearing Maracturne's voice as he walked toward the hall, "Wouldn't it be best to wait for Gircannon, though?"
"Gircannon… please," said Lionel, looking at Maracturne, "He's on unofficial business. We can handle it ourselves."
Turnchou turned around as he looked at Maracturne. Maracturne turned to Turnchou. Both villains sighed as they looked at Lionel. Lionel grinned as he looked at both of them, "Now that you agree with me… let's give the rangers a piece of my mind."
Snapping his fingers, the team turned around as a Feraligatr-Krookodile creature arrived. He had the head of Krookodile with the hands of Feraligatr and Feraligatr fins on the head, back, and tail which is long with a Seviper stinger on the end. He also had a Sharpedo fin on his back with a leather jacket and fins in his arms. His entire body is a mixed of alligator and crocodile green and shark blue with teeth combined of Fearligatr and Krookodile.
"Killergatr…," he said, "If he can flood an entire planet and steal the planet's financial supply, he can steal the stones."
"Don't worry, sir… I plan to take the stones… and flood the Earth with it," he said, laughing as he went to walk away.

Chapter 32: Search for the Stones
The doorbell decided to ring in Lisa's apartment. As she was trying to get her last-minute things ready, she walked over toward the door. She decided to have her first girls' night at the apartment, specifically with Leona and Jo. As her Pokémon were cleaning, she walked over as she went to open the door. Swinging the door open, she noticed Leona and Jo, both bringing over something to eat.
"Hey!" she said, "Let's party!"
Hours passed as the rangers were sitting in her living room. As Jo was pouring more wine, she couldn't help but to notice all their Pokémon hanging out. Leona's Cinderace was hanging with Lisa's Scyther and Jo's Haunter, pulling pranks. As they were hanging out, Leona turned around as she had another glass, "So, how are things actually going with you and Mack?"
"Well, Mack is Mack…he is really trying to be in Pokémon Watcher school. He's trying to catch up all the work he is missed thanks to Gircannon…" Lisa responded, rolling her eyes.
"I'm just glad that he found his calling," said Jo, "Being a warrior from another time takes a toll on you. Glad he found something more enjoyable."
"Me too," she said, "And hopefully we can actually go on a date and not go out to die together."
She went to sip as she turned to Jo, "Your turn. You and Joe."
"Me? With Joe Cartwright?" asked Jo, in shock, "He's such a womanizer."
"Yeah, but you like how he flirts with you. Don't lie," said Lisa, raising her eyebrow, "I've seen it. He always sits next to you, works with you, wants to hang with you. He's like a lost puppy… he wants you."
Jo rolled her eyes, "I'm not interested in anyone right now. I have a lot on my plate. But… I wonder what your dad decided to do, Leona. Atticus being asked to watch over you?"
Leona shrugged as she turned to the violet ranger, "Well, let's be real. Dad never liked my boyfriends in the past. I only had like one or two… they learned how to break my heart. For some reason, my dad likes Atticus…"
"… And Atticus hasn't asked you out yet?" asked Lisa, looking at Leona with an honest question. The red ranger looked at her as she shook her head, "Not really."
"Well, do you like him?" asked Jo, "I mean, come on! He's a champ! You two work out sometimes together. He's ripped. He's charming, he is a lot more civilized than Joe. He doesn't even talk much, but he has a huge heart."
Leona shrugged, "Maybe he's nervous… I mean, he does have a huge heart. I wish there were more men like him, but let's be real. To him, family is everything and he cares a lot."
As Lisa and Jo nodded in silence, they heard something in the front foor. Looking up, Lisa realized that there was mail in the box that she forgot to look at. Scyther floated over as he turned to Lisa. Lisa carefully climbed out of the couch to get the mail, knowing Scyther would probably cut the envelopes instead of handing them.
"Thanks Scyther… let's see," said Lisa, tossing a few pieces of mail. As she did, Leona noticed a golden and emerald envelope. As she walked over, the others were amazed as she opened it. Lisa rolled her eyes as she read the envelope. Leona reached over as she picked up the envelope from her. Opening it, Leona saw a brown and white card.
"Calling all Pokémon Trainers… Daniel McBride, Pokémon Champion in multiple regions is inviting you to a raffle. Whoever wins the contest gets to pick up an aqua stone that could work well on Ice types. Tomorrow at Pastoria Fairgrounds…" Leona said, "What made you cringe?"
"I didn't know Dan lived here," she said, grumbling, "He was… how do I put it… heavily involved with me two years ago."
"Like dating?" asked Jo.
"Yeah…," said Lisa, rolling her eyes, "He wanted me to give up my dreams so I can be his wife to take care of the kids while he decided to go travel. He thought being a nurse was child's play and was never supportive of my goals."
Jo turned around as she looked at the envelope, "Then, it's not worth going."
"Oh, I wouldn't be so sure," said Leona, looking at the invitation. She turned the invitation toward them. Jo turned around as she looked at the pictures. One picture had an evolution stone, there was another with a year supply of potions and the third one was an ice type stone, similar to Leona's. Jo rolled her eyes, "Yeah, we might have to make an appearance."
"Why?" asked Lisa.
"The stone looks exactly like the other fourteen stones we collected," said Jo, "So, we kind of need to go."
"Fine. But, all of you are going," said Lisa.
Jo shook her head, "I would love to but I have to work on things in Dino Paradise. I have upgrades to do, but I will be on the sidelines. Kyland and Thomas want to help."
"I got you," said Leona, looking at Lisa, "And also, Mack will be with us when we tell him. Mack can put him in his place."
Lisa grinned as she sat down finishing the glass, "He better. Or I will have Scyther go after him. Scyther hates him… right Scyther?"
Scyther turned around, nodding his head. He raised his blade and chopped a cucumber in the kitchen… multiple times. The rangers freaked out a little as Scyther diced the cucumber, angrily.
"Case and point," the pink ranger added on to say.
The next morning…
Lisa walked down the stairs out of her apartment complex with her coffee. As she headed to Leona's vehicle, the door opened as Lisa got in the passenger seat. Leona sat in the driver's seat as she put her seat belt on. Lisa turned around as she looked at her, "He's going to make me nervous."
"And you know what? It's going to be okay," said Leona.
"Hey!"
Leona turned around as she looked over. The rangers were surprised as the boys were running out to meet. Joe, Grayson, Atticus and Mack hopped in the car as Grayson went to speak, "I heard we are going to a contest."
"Yeah," said Leona, grinning, "A stone is located there and its up for competition."
"Good!" said Joe, "I love competitions."
"Yeah… Dan McBride though is an annoyance though but he's a good martial artist," said Atticus, sitting down in his seat. Lisa turned around as she went to mutter a little. Mack turned around as he looked at Lisa, "What's wrong my dear?"
"Just wait till we get to the fairgrounds," said Lisa.
Leona sighed as she turned the car over. Pushing the emergency brake off and placing the car in drive, the trainers left Oreburgh City, heading toward Pastoria City. Lisa leaned back in the front seat and closed her eyes as Leona was making a left, heading on the car route toward Mt. Coronet. They were only about six hours from Pastoria City. It was going to be a long ride.
Hours passed as the sun was reaching high noon. They stopped to get gas at Hearthome City, but wasn't in Hearthome City for long as they headed south toward Pastoria City. One of the hardest things about going down to Pastoria City was needing an all-terrain vehicle to get through: you guessed it, the swamp. Driving into the wetlands, Lisa noticed the smell and disgusting foul stench in some parts. Atticus, who was sitting in the middle, was shaking his head as he turned to them, "I don't miss this part of Sinnoh."
"Look at all the Carnivine though!" said Mack, taking some photos, "This will look great when I go to analyze."
Hours continued to pass as they managed to get out of the sticky wetlands and on to dry grass. As Lisa and Leona looked up, they saw the sign for Pastoria Fairgrounds. Following the signs, the trainers were amazed at some of the people that were there, and it was for cosplay. There was a huge yellow sign that said it in blue text with palm trees on either side and the ground was full of mud.
As Leona and Lisa got out of the car with the rest, they walked over toward the ticket booth.
"LOOK, I TOLD YOU THAT THESE TRAINERS ARE BANNED… GET EM OUT!"
Stopping, Lisa turned around as she looked at Leona, "He's here!"
Turning around, the rangers noticed a man walked out. He was wearing a grey trench coat with a blue T-shirt and a pair of jeans. His dark brown eyes darted at Leona's crew and he had black spiky hair toward the front. He was also had a lot of upper body strength. Eyeing Lisa, he walked over. Lisa grimaced as she turned to walk away, "Hey, Lisa."
"Dan… hi," she said.
"So, you have my invitation too. You see, I'm so glad you get to come!" said Dan, "Granted, I was champion…. Oh, it's you."
His eyes darted toward Atticus, who looked at him, "Hi, Dan. How does it feel to be running your own fairgrounds and dojo?"
"It feels nice. Can't believe I'm seeing my ex and the guy that knocked me down a few pegs. Are you here for my competition or are you here for my sympathy?" he asked.
"Listen you… I'm not here for your pity party… I'm here to get the stone," said Lisa, looking at him, "End of story."
"Not a… I'm sorry you broke my heart?" asked Dan.
Lisa gave Dan the death glare as she went to say something, but luckily Mack was there to intervene. Mack grabbed Dan by the neck and held him high. Dan squirmed as he was kicking his legs, only for his Tyranitar to arrive toward them. Mack turned around as he let Dan go, "You are lucky I didn't cut you."
Dan gulped as he turned around, "Alright, you want the stone. Fine. But, you are going to have to go through my obstacle course. A nurse won't be able to handle it."
"Challenge accepted," said Lisa, "Let's go team."
As the rangers started walking away from Dan, back in the woods, there were two figures. One was Killergatr and the other was Maracturne. Maracturne grinned as he looked at the monster, "I think it's time we enter the contest too."
"But you NEED to dress up," he said.
Maracturne grinned as he opened the briefcase that he found. Within seconds, Maracturne was dressed up with a purple and white dress with a cane. He also had blonde hair as he looked at the monster.
"Who are you supposed to be?" he asked, trying not to laugh.
"I'll be… Agatha of the Elite Four," Maracturne said. Killergatr fell to the ground, bursting out in laughter.
Ten minutes later, the rangers were all dressed up as their favorite gym leaders.
Leona walked out, wearing a blue sleeveless top and shorts with a black belt. She wore a black and red cape as she stood in front. She had the Rising Badge stitched to her left side of the shirt. Turning around, she noticed Lisa, which was easy. She wore a pink-green kimono with flowers and her hair was straight with a pink headband. The Rainbow Badge was stitched on. Turning around, the guys were also dressed up as well.
Joe wore a black T-shirt with blue pants and a blue jacket. The Beacon Badge was edged into his jacket. Joe also wore a yellow wig, trying to look like Volkner. Atticus wore a pair swim goggles around his neck and wore blue and white striped pants that had fins on the bottom. He also had a net with his Poké Balls, looking like Marlon. Grayson wore a dark blue karate gi with white stockings underneath and black-red shoes. He also wore a blue jacket over the gi with the Zephyr Badge sewed on, imitating Falkner. Lastly, Mack was dressed up wearing blue and black wrestling pants with black and yellow gauntlets on either side. He had a fin like wrestling mask and a golden trident chain around his neck, looking like Crasher Wake.
As the team were heading to the front, Dan arrived wearing a black cape with a red t-shirt and black jeans, almost looking like Lance as he went to the microphone. There were a ton of trainers who dressed up as other trainers or gym leaders, so he wasn't sure who was who but there was a good crowd. He grabbed the microphone on the stand as he explained the rules.
"Here are the rules! You all have two flags in your pocket and 1 Pokémon to use to search for three red boxes. Each trainer uses 1 Pokémon! If the Pokémon is out, the trainer takes the flag. If you lose both flags, you are out of the competition. If you do find the red box, you need to come back. If you get caught though and lose, you lose the box. The prizes are random. Are we ready?"
As everyone roared with excitement, Dan raised his pistol. Pulling the trigger, everyone started searching for the stones and dashed toward the front. The trainers dashed forward as Leona turned around to look at the others, "I have my secret weapon!"
"What secret weapon?" asked Lisa.
Leona grinned as she stopped running, opening her cape. Lisa noticed a miniature-sized Tyrantrum, looking up in response. Lisa looked at her, "That's SO cheating."
"Knowing our luck, they are aware. Gotta be on guard. Now, let's get that stone before the trainers find it!"
Ten minutes later…
"What is that?" a trainer asked, dressed like Lorelei. She turned around, freaked out as Killergatr appeared. She also had a Dewgong, who looked petrified. Looking up, she gulped as Maracturne, dressed as Agatha turned around, "He is a Pokémon, duh! Killergatr use Fury Swipes!"
Killergatr jumped up and slashed Dewgong across. Dewgong tried to retaliate.
"Use Ice Beam!"
Dewgong broke out of Killergatr's attack and used its mouth. A crystalized frozen beam formed as Killergatr was hit. However, as he was covered, Killergatr broke out of it. Hissing, he used its tail and smacked Dewgong down. Dewgong cringed as he fainted.
"DEWGONG!" she shouted.
Maracturne grinned as he grabbed the last red flag from her. She screamed as she turned around, Killergatr laughed as he looked at Maracturne. Killergatr opened his mouth as a ton of Pokémon currency was in his mouth. He poured it into a bag, "I figured for fun…"
"Good! Let's keep knocking out trainers so we can get that stone," said Maracturne.
"Or… you can make it more fun!"
Maracturne turned around as he looked. Shockhound appeared with his saber in hand, "Why are you dressed like an old hag?"
"Because you have to dress up in order to compete," said Maracturne, "Now, if you'll excuse me, I am going to do it the right way."
"Or… do it my way," said Shockhound, grinning as he crossed his arms. Maracturne sighed as he rolled his eyes. Maracturne had this whole plan to himself. Obviously, Shockhound didn't think he was doing a good job. Maracturne rolled his eyes as he turned to him, "Fine!"
Meanwhile…
Grayson and Lisa were walking around the swamp, looking for one of the red boxes. Lisa turned around as she looked at Grayson, who was looking around, trying to find something. He then turned around as he looked at her, "You know, we are going to have to duke it out…"
"Well, if it's for the stone, does it matter? And even if it isn't, I would rather you just take my flags anyway. I would rather be home, working on aroma therapy than dressing up as my cousin," said Lisa.
"Speaking of home," he said, hopping off a branch. He landed on the ground as he looked at her, "You've been moody since we've been here… Dan, huh?"
"Yeah, you can say that," said Lisa, sighing as she placed her hand on her hips, "I can't stand him. I left him for a reason."
"Well, he was a top martial artist and Pokémon trainer," said Grayson, looking at Lisa, "Oh, but he flew off the handle."
"Yeah," said Lisa, "You see, here's the difference between Dan and Mack. Mack may be from a different time period, but I can connect with him and he's willing to put in. He's willing to be there for his friends, be there for me. I can call him at any time, even though Mack needs to adjust a few things, I have nothing wrong with him. Dan on the other hand, used to have a heart until all of this number 1 thing got to his head."
Grayson said nothing as Lisa turned around, looking at the woods, "Look, Grayson, as a warrior, you know that warriors have humility… how come there are some that don't?"
Grayson shrugged as he turned to Lisa. Lisa sighed as Grayson walked over in proximity, "Sometimes there are warriors that have such a big ego that they are stuck in their thick head. It sucks though because you know inside, they have so much to offer."
"I have something to offer you… your flag!"
Grayson turned around as Dan appeared, grinning. Lisa turned around as she looked at him, "I thought you were facilitating."
"I am… you two are obviously not fighting, so I will have to fight you myself," said Dan, grinning.
"You go get the box, Lisa. I'll handle him," said Grayson. Lisa nodded as she turned around to leave. Dan went to walk toward her, "Tyranitar, stop her!"
"Flygon, use Wing Attack!" Grayson yelled, throwing his Poké Ball. As the ball released, Flygon emerged as he swung its wing, smacking Tyranitar across. Tyranitar was stable enough as Flygon landed on the ground. Grayson stood in front of Flygon as Dan stood next to Tyranitar, "You want to defend my ex… eh?"
"Lisa's right… you are messed up. Flygon, let's show him what honorable trainers do," he said.
"You'll pay for that," said Dan, taking a fighting stance. Grayson chuckled, "I'm not even dating your ex, and you want to actually physically fight me."
"Tyranitar, clip Flygon's wings!"
Flygon turned around as he looked at Grayson. Grayson nodded as he pet his head, "Remember all the training…"
Flygon nodded as he took off, striking Tyranitar. Tyranitar went to strike with his tail, only for Flygon to block it with his. As the Pokémon went at it, Dan went to throw a spinning hook kick, only for Grayson to block it. He swept Dan across as Dan flipped on the ground. Dan landed on the ground and then flipped up, using a back kick. Grayson used a low block and then threw a punch. Dan blocked with his elbow and then crescent kicked Grayson in the face. Grayson flipped on the ground. Dan then went to use an axe kick. Grayson rolled out of the way, but swept Dan with his right leg. As he tripped, Grayson went to use a spinning hook kick, smacking Dan in the face. Dan turned around as he felt the swing, he looked at Grayson as Grayson started to sweat a little.
"Come on… hotshot… let's see how prideful you really are," said Grayson.
Meanwhile…
"Zebstrika, use Wild Charge!" shouted Joe.
Zebstrika galloped through electrocuting a Starmie, Staraptor and a Raticate. As the Pokémon fainted, Zebstrika swung its legs as he walked toward Joe. Joe grinned as he grabbed all of the flags from the remaining trainer. He turned around as he grabbed the red box, "You're done… all of you."
Turning around, he noticed Leona arriving. Joe went to strike, only for Leona to wave her finger, "You know if you beat me, you have to take my box."
"I know… let's get to the front before we get attacked," said Joe.
Joe and Leona managed to hop on Zebstrika. Zebstrika nodded as he galloped through the Pastoria Fairgrounds, going through the muddy swamps. As they got to the front, there was a receptionist waiting for them. She wore a green dress as Joe hopped off Zebstrika and Leona followed. As they received the two red boxes, the woman hair flipped her blue hair as her red eyes were glimmering.
"It's nice to finally have two prizes!" she said, "Feel free to open them."
Joe turned around as he opened the first box. He looked in shock as he noticed a teal stone with a yellow lightning bolt on it, "A Thunder Stone?"
Leona laughed as she opened the box, only to reveal a fire like stone, "A Fire Stone…"
"Yes… those are the second and third place prizes…," she said.
"That means that stone is still out there," said Leona.
"And we can't go get it because we just claimed our prizes," said Joe, turning in response. He then noticed Atticus, who was with them. He had his flags ripped off, "At least you got prizes."
"What happened to you?" asked Leona.
"Dan… Dan beat me and took my flags," said Atticus, looking at the rangers, "He was on the warpath, looking to defeat Lisa. Also, a trainer with a Rhyperior took me out."
"Great… just what we need, Dan hunting for it," said Joe, "It's his own competition. It's not fair."
Leona laughed as she looked at Joe and Atticus. She turned to Joe as she looked at Atticus, "I have a feeling it's rigged, boys."
She turned around as she opened her cape. Looking around, she turned around as she grabbed Mini Tyrantrum.
"Go find Mack for me… see if he's still there."
Tyrantrum nodded as it trotted off, heading toward the swamp. Joe turned around as Atticus walked over, "You sent your zord?"
"Precautionary…," said Leona, raising her eyebrow.
Meanwhile…
Mack turned around as he looked at Monferno, who was mesmerized by the swamp. He turned around as he looked at Mack, who was walking around. Turning around, Monferno hopped on Mack's shoulder.
"You got to be careful, Monferno. We have not learned to battle with you yet… and we have a stone to find," he said.
"Mon…," Monferno said, nodding in agreement.
As Mack was walking around, he turned around as he heard rustling in the bushes. As he knelt down, he went to go around the bush, looking for the box. As he turned around, he gasped as he felt something sharp. Looking up, it was a familiar sword. Monferno jumped up as he released a stream of flames. Shockhound was hit in the face as Monferno landed on the ground. Mack broke free as he turned toward him, "You!"
"Hahaha… so I am here!" he said, "The stone has to be somewhere… and after I electrocute you like I did the other trainers, it will be easy pickings. Actually, I would kill you first."
Monferno stood there angrily as Mack went to reach for his Poké Ball, "Actually, Monferno… this is not your battle."
A red stream of energy hit Monferno as he returned to his Poké Ball. Quickly, Mack placed his gold energy crystal in his hand as it went around his neck. His morpher materialized as he went for his Fossil Charger, "Aerodactyl Charger, Energize!"
Pressing the button, a golden energy charge went straight through his body and into the charger. Spinning around, Mack placed the charger in his morpher. He then pulled the trigger, "Unleash the Power!"
Releasing it, a golden aura surrounded him as his ranger suit appeared. Withdrawing his Golden Amber Saber, he slashed Shockhound multiple times. Shockhound turned around as he went to strike. The battle was blade for blade. As Mack pushed him away, Shockhound went to strike, only for a red streak of energy hit. Tyrantrum slammed its tail on Shockhound, knocking him down. Tyrantrum walked over screaming.
"Leona sent you?" he asked.
Tyrantrum nodded. Shockhound winced in pain as Tyrantrum transformed into a blaster, floating toward Mack, "You want me to use you?"
As the zord was shaking, Mack grabbed it as he pulled the trigger, shooting the ground. Explosions surrounded Shockhound as Mack went to run with Tyrantrum transforming out.
"Let's go find her!" said Mack, dashing through.
Meanwhile…
Tyranitar was getting damaged, going down for the count as Flygon released a Dragon Tail. Tyranitar screamed as it landed on the ground. Looking down, Dan was down for the count as well. Grayson took a deep breath as he fell to his knees, "This is nothing Dan… stop this."
"I'm not done…," said Dan, standing up. He withdrew his right bracelet, which had a Mega Evolution Sphere, "Tyranitar! Mega Evolve!"
A rainbow beam of energy hit Tyranitar as a green aura surrounded it. Tyranitar began to have more spikes as his whole body roared. His red eyes on his chest began to glow as he released a beam of energy, hitting Flygon. Flygon yelled as he landed on the ground. Flygon was wincing in pain as Grayson sat down.
"Flygon, don't back down!"
Grayson closed his eyes as he began to eliminate any distractions. Dan watched as Grayson closed his eyes, feeling the winds around him. Laughing, Dan turned around as he looked at Grayson, "This is absolutely stupid."
As he went in for the attack, Dan went to raise his foot up in the air. Grayson opened his eyes as he went to see the foot come toward his face. Grayson rolled across, grabbed his other leg and knocked him down. As Dan landed on the ground, Grayson and Dan had a little scuffle, only for the red box to fall. Grayson grabbed it as he looked at him. Picking up the box, Grayson noticed the aqua stone inside, "You had it this whole time."
"So what?" asked Dan.
"You weren't supposed to be involved. You wanted the stone for yourself didn't you… that means there's a fake," said Grayson.
Dan chuckled as he looked at him, "And?"
Looking up, Grayson's Flygon opened its mouth as a red and blue energy beam pierced Mega Tyranitar. Tyranitar screamed as Flygon slammed his feet down, causing an earthquake. Mega Tyranitar fell backwards as he landed on the ground. A blue aura surrounded Mega Tyranitar as he transformed back. Flygon flew across and landed next to Grayson.
"You are a dishonorable cheat!" Grayson said.
"I just want to prove I'm the best," said Dan.
"Atticus was right. You are a phony," said Grayson, turning around as he hopped on Flygon, "Let's head-."
Suddenly, there was a tidal wave that hit the marsh. Dan was hit as Grayson and Flygon flew to the ground. Landing on a tree, Grayson looked up as Maracturne arrived, wearing Agatha's costume and Killergatr.
"Maracturne?" asked Grayson.
"I heard it all," said Maracturne, throwing the wig on the ground, "And my Killergatr monster will actually kill this time and not battle other Pokémon."
"You used a monster to battle other Pokémon?" asked Dan, "That is totally against the rules."
"Shut up… it's enough you got what I want," said Maracturne, "Killergatr!"
Killergatr jumped up as he headed straight for Flygon. Grayson withdrew his Fossil Blaster, pulling the trigger. Killergatr was hit multiple times as he landed on the ground. Hopping off of Flygon, Grayson aimed his blaster. Turning around, he heard something in the background.
"Grayson!"
Looking to his left, Lisa arrived with her Fossil Blaster. Dan looked at her as Lisa turned to look at him, "Nice to see you again…"
"I wouldn't talk to him right now. Let's take this gator creature back to the swamp it belongs… or ocean," said Grayson.
Lisa and Grayson withdrew their Fossil Chargers, "Fossil Charger, energize!"
A green and pink aura surrounded them as their Fossil Chargers activated. Doing a dance and spinning around, the two rangers placed their Fossil Chargers in their blasters.
Kabutops, Energize!
Bastiodon, Energize!
"Unleash the Power!"
Pulling the trigger, a green and pink aura surrounded them as their ranger suits appeared. As they withdrew their Fossil Blasters, Dan stood there in surprise.
"You guys… are the Poké Rangers?"
He rolled his eyes as he landed on the ground.
Meanwhile…
Shockhound was chasing after Mack and the Tyrantrum Zord, or at least he was trying to. As he turned around, he looked up as he was seeing the thickets of the Great Marsh. He turned around in anger as he realized that he left Pastoria Fairgrounds, noticing where Mack was heading. As Shockhound went to step, blasts of energy hit him. Looking up, Joe and Leona arrived with their weapons, and already morphed.
"I can't believe this…," he said, turning around as he used his saber, "Thunder Strike!"
Raising his saber, yellow lightning surrounded his saber as he struck. Leona and Joe dodged it as Tyrantrum jumped up into Leona's arms. As Leona grabbed Tyrantrum, she petted its head. Tyrantrum jumped up as it transformed into a red pistol. As the blaster opened, she withdrew her Fossil Charger.
"Fossil Charger, Energize!"
As she pressed the Tyrantrum charger, she placed it in the Tyrantrum Max Blaster. A red aura surrounded her as her ranger suit appeared. A golden aura surrounded her body as a Tyrantrum emerged from behind her. A red aura surrounded her armor as a Tyrantrum face was placed on her chest. It was gold with green eyes. She also had gold armor on her shoulders. Turning around, she also had gold spikes on her helmet as her visor had green and ruby lines.
"Tyrantrum Max! Dino Super Charge Red!"
Shockhound turned around as he went to strike with his saber. Leona flipped over as she pulled the trigger. A red aura surrounded her blaster as it hit, striking him in the face. Shockhound turned around as Mack and Joe went to strike with their weapons. Shockhound raised his saber as he stabbed it into the swamp, creating a whole entire electric terrain. As the rangers were caught in the electric field, Leona broke free as she pulled the trigger. Shockhound was hit as he landed on the ground.
"You little…," he said.
Before Leona and the others could say anything, yellow lightning bolts surrounded Shockhound as he disappeared into existence. The rangers turned around as they looked at each other. Joe looked up as he was curious, "Odd…"
"Too odd," said Mack.
"Hey guys!"
Mack turned around as Atticus was running through the swamp. The other rangers turned around as Atticus took a breather, "Apparently, Maracturne is attacking the others with some gator creature."
"Well, let's get going," said Leona.
Back in the Fairgrounds…
"Fossil Charger, Energize!"
Placing the chargers in their Fossil Blasters, Grayson and Lisa charged it as they aimed at Killergatr, "Fossil Charge Blast!"
Green and pink energy were unleashed as they swirled around, heading toward Killergatr. As explosions occurred, Killergatr disappeared. The two rangers turned around as they were looking at each other and then around the area. Within seconds, his hands grabbed them, throwing them in the swamp. Within seconds, he threw them up in the air. An orange punch appeared from Killergatr as the two rangers landed on the ground. Grayson landed on the ground, wheezing as Lisa appeared.
"We've got to keep going," said Lisa, looking up.
Maracturne laughed as he looked at them, "This is perfect! You guys are pretty much screwed!"
"Razor Shell!"
The blade of the Carracosta Shield cut across Maracturne. Maracturne turned around as Atticus grabbed his Carracosta Shield. Joe turned around as he grabbed his Armaldo Blaster, pulling the trigger. Black bursts of energy pierced him as Mack flew across with his Golden Amber Saber, "Thunder Fang Slash!"
Yellow sparks of electricity surrounded Killergatr as he landed on the ground. Leona turned around as she reached for two batteries.
"Omastar, Bastiodon Charger, Energize!"
Leona placed both chargers in, one at a time. As she closed the blaster. An aqua and pink aura surrounded the Tyrantrum Max Blaster. A miniature Omastar and Bastidon arrived in a flash of energy. Pink and aqua energy swirled as Leona an Omastar arm with a Bastiodon arm. She stretched out her arms as she went to fight.
"Tyrantrum Max! Spiker Charge Mode!"
As he went to swing with his tail, quickly Leona used the Bastiodon arm and pierced the ground, creating a tremor. Killergatr yelled as he fell off balance. A pink aura surrounded the arm as Leona slashed him across the chest and then used aqua spikes from Omastar's arm, piercing the chest. As blue sparks surrounded Killergatr, Leona then aimed her weapon at Killergar.
"Tyrantrum Max! Tri-Fossil Beam!"
Red, pink and aqua energy charged into her armor as it was unleashed into Tyrantrum. Tyrantrum opened its mouth as a swirl of energy appeared, aiming directly for Killergatr. Killergatr screamed as red and golden sparks surrounded him, exploding into pieces. The rangers turned around as Leona gave them a high five, "Now… where's the stone?"
"I have it…," said Grayson, waving it, "He threw a fake one somewhere."
Lisa shook her head as Dan looked up. Lisa crossed her arms and threw him to the tree, "You let this all go to your head."
"I… I…," he started to say. But, he was interrupted as a green beam of energy pierced from the sky, heading to Killergatr's body. Killergatr grew ten times larger.
"I guess we got trouble!" said Grayson.
"Leona!"
Leona looked up as she noticed an Aurorus jumping over the trees, landing on the ground. Rampardos also arrived next to the zord. Jo and Thomas were in their respective zords.
"I thought you weren't done!" Leona said, looking up.
"Kyland is holding the fort," said Jo, "Let's combine!"
Leona nodded as she released Tyrantrum from his miniature state. As Tyrantrum appeared mega sized, Leona turned around as she looked at Killergatr.
"Tri-Fossil Fusion!"
Quickly, the Rocket Charge Megazord transformed back into Aurorus. Immediately, Tyrantrum opened its mouth. Grey and violet energy surrounded the Aurorus and Rampardos as Tyrantrum ingested the energy. A red aura surrounded the Tyrantrum as the legs began to rise higher, seeing robotic feet. The Tyrantrum Zord roared as the upper body rotated, leaving the tail to be the left side and the head of the zord on the right. Rampardos folded its arms and legs. His body turned around as the tail was facing toward the back, but the head was the hand. The Aurorus shrunk its legs as it split apart. The Aurorus neck connected to the other side of the Megazord. The body of Aurorus connected to the back of the Megazord, creating two rocket engines. A human head popped out of the body. It was a silver head with a red helmet that looked like a Tyrantrum helmet. Green eyes glowed as it started jumping.
"Rocket Puncher Megazord, Battle Ready!"
Killergatr screamed as he charged through. He threw a punch, only for the Rampardos arm to block it. Killergatr went to throw another punch, only for the Rocket Puncher Megazord to block it. With every throw, there was a block. Killergatr grew frustrated as he swung his tail, only for the Rocket Puncher Megazord to levitate.
"Mega Kick!" shouted Thomas.
A white aura surrounded the Rocket Puncher Megazord's right foot, smacking Killergatr in the face. Killergatr's eyes began to glow as his tail began to glow in a purple aura.
"Watch out for its Poison Tail!" shouted Dan.
The Rocket Puncher Megazord grabbed the tail with one hand, a punch was thrown to Killergatr's face. As Killergatr cringed, he started to back off.
"Spectral Beam!" shouted Jo.
The Tyrantrum mouth opened as rainbow energy beams swirled around, piercing Killergatr in the stomach. As Killergatr began to stumble, every ranger took out their Fossil Blaster. A screen appeared as two red crosshairs appeared. As they combined into one target, the three spun the blasters.
"Rocket Puncher Megazord, Meteor Finish!"
3… 2… 1… LIFT-OFF!
The engines ignited as a ruby aura surrounded the Rocket Puncher Megazord. Increasing speed, a streak of red went straight toward Killergatr. Slowing down, the Aurorus part of the Megazord struck down as explosions appeared. Spinning around, the Rampardos head smashed Killergatr across. As Killergatr flew across, the Tyrantrum opened its mouth as rainbow meteors struck Killergatr. Explosions appeared as the Rocket Puncher Megazord stood down, seeing the flames and meteors fly everywhere.
Ferro Fett's Ship…
Maracturne wobbled as he entered the bridge, back in Gircannon's dimension. As he did, he turned around as Lionel, Shockhound, Turnchou and Cremelia were looking at him. He looked up as he had the wig in his hand.
"So… how does it feel to wear a wig?" asked Lionel, laughing, "So much for trying that plan."
"Shut it, Lionel. I would've had it all laid out if hound would've let me be," said Maracturne.
"You did this to yourself," said Shockhound, laughing. As he turned around, he noticed a familiar face over him. Gircannon floated as he landed on the ground, "That was a waste of a monster. He could've been used for something more."
Shockhound laughed as he went to walk away. As he opened the door, overhearing the lecture, he turned around as he noticed something. As he walked around, he noticed a diagram that had Demongun, Huntvantula and Shadownobi's weapons. As he picked it up, he grinned, "Interesting… I think this is going to be… very interesting."
Meanwhile…
As the trainers left, Dan stood there in response as he looked at the rangers. Lisa walked over as she looked at Dan silently. He looked down as she went to speak, "So… you've been quiet."
"Yeah… it looks like you got me, Lisa. I am definitely in the wrong and I shouldn't have hosted a competition where I tried to win it," said Dan.
"You know, in any other game, that would be considered cheating…," said Atticus, overhearing the conversation, "And that's not okay."
Dan nodded slowly as he turned to Lisa, "Can you forgive me?"
"Only if you promise to change your ways and stop being such a prideful guy. I miss the Dan I used to date," said Lisa, looking at Mack. Mack darted his eyes as he looked at Dan, "You're very lucky, Daniel."
Dan nodded slowly as he turned to Atticus. Atticus also turned around as he headed toward Dan with a brown bag, "And here you go…"
"But, it's yours!" said Dan.
"Thanks, but I don't plan on growing a farm any time soon. Carrot seeds would take forever," said Atticus, grinning.
The other rangers laughed as they turned around, leaving Dan. Dan waved his hand as the six rangers were heading down the hill, toward the jeep. As they all got in the car, Lisa turned around as she looked at Leona, "You know by the time we get back to Oreburgh, it's going to be like 1 in the morning."
"So?" asked Leona.
"Let's take off tomorrow… Kyland can cover the duties," said Joe, laughing.
"We can't do that," said Grayson, getting his seatbelt on, "Let's go."
"Grayson… we just fought a creature, got a new stone and you expect us to survive a six hour drive?" asked Atticus.
"Just sleep it off," Mack said in the back of the jeep.
Leona and Lisa laughed as the car started. The rangers followed the route back to Oreburgh City, knowing they had a while before the can head back to their own apartments.

The rangers are super excited about planning the Summer Fall Festival at the exhibit. However, Atticus notices that everyone decided to slack off. However, he learns that it's not just his friends, it's the community. What in the world is going on?

A/N: So, yes! That was Dan! Interesting fellow for sure but I am sure we will see him again. I did use one of the monsters from the form, so thank you so much for that monster idea! I am going to be using those monster forms more often. It makes things so easier. I do apologize for not updating the past few weeks, its been rough around the edges. I am also writing one of the toughest chapters in Dino Charge and its been tough. Hopefully, once this big project is done, I can upload with ease. However, I am glad to say... only two-thirds done. Fasten your seat belt!
