Ferro Fett's Ship…
Lionel yawned as he was looking at the conference room. As he sat down with Gircannon, Gircannon went to explain what was going on.
"So… any progress?" asked Gircannon.
"Sadly, no…," said Lionel, "The rangers did grab another stone. There's only 3 left. But, we have really got ourselves into a pickle."
"What do you mean?' he asked.
Lionel shrugged as he went to reach forward, "Gircannon, sir. My sister has upgraded to a new power. It has destroyed Shadownobi, Huntvantula and now even the strongest monsters from our crew. How many more hunters and commanders can we use? Eventually we will be depleted."
Gircannon looked at Lionel with a smile on his face, "I never lose, Lionel. Never lose."
"Then, why don't you go and make an example?" he asked.
"Because I'm not ready to show my true power. I've given warnings, but eventually, all will fall into place," Gircannon said with a grin.
As the door opened, Cremelia walked inside as she looked at their new bounty hunter. Lionel looked at her as this monster had the body of a Slaking, but the skin was like Snorlax. He had a straw hat on his head with a Hawaiian shirt. He also had a nice glass in his hand.
"This is Slacklax…," said Cremelia, grinning, "I figured my plan would work today."
"Your plans suck," said Lionel, looking at Cremelia. Cremelia turned around as she looked at him, "Not today. You see, Slacklax can make people lazy…"
"And.. with what I have in store, my plan will work!"
Cremelia turned around as Shockhound arrived. Cremelia walked over to Shockhound, grabbing him by the neck, "Listen, puppy. I can handle this without your help!"
Shockhound laughed as he looked at her, "And while you're arguing, the Mooks have already been on the move."
"What do you mean on the move?" asked Cremelia.
Shockhound laughed as he looked at her, "You'll see, puppet. Come on, Slacklax!"
Slacklax roared as he walked away. Cremelia shook her head as she turned around, closing the doors behind her. Lionel turned around as he looked at Gircannon, "And this is because?"
Gircannon chuckled, "Shockhound has been going through some things. You will also find out in time. Now, go monitor the plan and make sure it works."
Lionel nodded as he got up from the conference room, walking toward the door. As he stepped through, the doors opened as he walked away. The doors closed behind him. Gircannon turned around as he looked at the dimensional rift.
"I will not let them win… conquest is at stake," he muttered.

Chapter 33: Summer Daze
It was a bright day at the Orebrugh Museum. The rangers were sitting in Roark's office, all around the conference room table as Roark went to sit down. He grinned as he went to talk about something that was happening very quickly.
"So.. we have the Summer Fossil Festival today," said Roark.
"What is that?" asked Leona, confused as Roark went to continue, "It is a week where we get to have people excavate, but it's weeklong. Many people investigate also studying the exhibits we have in the museum too."
Grayson nodded as he turned around to look at the flyer that Roark passed out. He definitely was into looking at it, "What does this mean?"
"Well, one of you gets to watch over the museum at night. This happens all day and night. I would take all of you but if Ferro Fett's goons or Gircannon strikes, I need all of you to fight with Drake," Roark said, raising an eyebrow.
"Simple. I'll do it," Atticus said, raising his hand.
The rangers turned around as Atticus grinned. The rangers noticed that Atticus has been up late a lot with doing the night shift, so he kept missing a lot with ranger meetings, training and even working with his own Pokémon. Leona turned to him as she reached for his hand, "Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'll be fine. Why?" asked Atticus.
"You haven't had much sleep the past couple of days," the red ranger replied.
"We could also break it up. I could do the all nighter tomorrow," Grayson responded, "It shouldn't be that much of a problem."
"I can do the next day," Lisa said, turning to the others.
Roark nodded as he looked at the rangers. He placed his hand on the table, "I'm so glad we get to work together to make it work."
Mack turned around as he looked at the blue ranger, "Now, don't get too extensive."
Atticus chuckled as he punched Mack in the arm, "My Pokémon and I are going to make it work."
Roark nodded as he turned to the blue ranger. Shaking his hand, Atticus nodded as the other rangers went to stand up. He turned around as he opened the door, leading out into the hall with the other five rangers behind him. Atticus didn't mind doing this assignment for Roark. It was the best he could do with fighting monsters almost every day, especially with who they were facing lately. As he split from the group, he waved his goodbyes and headed into the security office. Hours passed as he was looking at the screens. As he looked up, he noticed people enjoying the festival and looking to see if people were following the rules. Turning to his Pokémon, Seviper was finishing up her Pokémon food, eyeing Grovyle as he was hanging with Torracat. Torracat was sitting on the chair, putting his feet on the console, just like Atticus. Empoleon looked up as he stood next to him.
"Hey guys, we haven't had this much quality time…," he said, looking down at his Seviper. Seviper crawled on his lap, yawning as she slept. As he laid back on the chair, he turned around as he went to drink a cup of coffee to keep up, but before he could sip, he was already out.
The next morning, Atticus woke up in a warm sweat. As he looked up, he carefully placed Seviper down as he went to look at the thermostat. The thermostat read 80 degrees. Without thinking, he turned on the air conditioning unit. He walked over as Empoleon looked at him, also awake.
"It's not just me?"
Empoleon nodded as Atticus walked over to one of the screens, flipping to the television. He looked up in response as he saw the weather.
"Today in Orebrugh City is 92 degrees… talk about a huge spike. We had a huge heat wave occur in less than 4 hours!" he said.
"92 degrees?" asked Atticus, looking at Empoleon with shock, "I need to check what's going on."
Minutes later…
Atticus walked outside of the museum, walking into the harsh sunlight. For him, it felt like he was walking around the harsh heat wave of Groudon's drought ability, granted he never met the legendary Pokémon. As he scurried around, he walked down the hill toward the apartment complex. He narrowed his eyes as he noticed two familiar faces. Grayson and Lisa were sitting on white folded beach chairs with their feet up in the air. Lisa was wearing a pink two-piece bathing suit with yellow flowers. Grayson was wearing a green and white Hawaiian shirt with a blue bathing suit, sipping a glass of water.
"Hey… it's Atticus!" Grayson shouted, getting up, "Broski!"
Atticus froze as he went to shake his hand. Grayson never used that terminology, very out of character. He turned around as Lisa walked over, placing her hand on his face, "What's up?"
"Uh…. What is with you guys?" asked Atticus, "It's like October and it feels like summer."
Grayson shook his head, "I just wanted to get my tan on. I don't want to train. I miss surfing and doing things like you did. Yo, we should get the crew and go do something."
"I agree… we should surf on the coast… it is way too hot to sit here," said Lisa.
Atticus shook his head as he turned around, walking back to the museum. Grayson followed him back as Atticus rolled his eyes, "What are you doing?"
"Simple. Going back to the festival. You guys have fun," said Atticus.
"Oh come on, dude!" said Grayson, looking at the blue ranger as he tugged, "Party just once."
"Grayson, this isn't you," said Atticus, stretching his hand out. Walking up the hill, he turned around as he froze. Loud music could be heard in the distance, specifically reggae. As he headed up the hill and made a right, Grayson and Lisa followed only for Atticus to stop walking. He noticed Cremelia was sitting on the grass with a fan in her hand with Slacklax.
"So… look who decided to party crash?" asked Cremelia.
"Me? Nah… I'm here to shut this party down!" said Atticus.
Grayson grabbed Atticus as he looked at him, "No… partying is great!"
"Yeah, I don't want to fight them!" said Lisa.
Cremelia laughed as she turned around to look at the two rangers. She jumped for joy as she looked at them, "See, Atticus? They don't want to fight us!"
"Then, I will… Fossil Charger, energize!"
Pressing his own Fossil Charger, the blue energy crystal around his neck transferred its energy into the charger. Reaching for the Fossil Blaster, Atticus performed his own dance as he turned around and then back, placing the charger in the blaster. Closing the blaster, he held it up in the air.
Carracosta, Energize!
Spinning the blaster, a blue aura surrounded it as he stretched the blaster in the air, "Unleash the Power!"
Pulling the trigger, Atticus transformed into his ranger suit. As he stood to fight, he turned to Grayson and Lisa, who were just sitting with a few drinks in hand.
"This is going to be fun," said Grayson.
"Go get him!" Lisa shouted.
Atticus rolled his eyes as he wanted to facepalm. He shook his head as he went straight toward Slacklax. Withdrawing his Fossil Saber, Atticus went to make a cut. Upon impact, the blade touched the body, only for a blue aura to surround it. Atticus flew and landed on the ground. Atticus was curious as Slacklax smiled, laughing. Cremelia was also giggling, seeing what was going on. Atticus then withdrew his Fossil Blaster. Pulling the trigger, blue beams hit the belly, but then it bounced back, hitting Atticus. Atticus yelled as he landed on the ground. Smoke emerged from his suit as Cremelia laughed.
"This is so much fun!" said Cremelia.
"Come on… can you be useful?" asked Atticus, but Grayson and Lisa were dazed.
Suddenly, there was a loud burst of laughter as Atticus turned around. Shockhound laughed as he was walking toward him. Shockhound grinned as he looked at Atticus, kicking him in the stomach. As Atticus rolled around, Shockhound stretched his hand as Grayson and Lisa willingly gave up their energy crystals. Atticus shook his head as he tried to grab Shockhound's leg. Shockhound turned around as he used his other leg to kick him in the neck.
"It's nice to see cooperating people," said Shockhound. Stretching his hand, he looked up as Atticus noticed seven crystals, "Once we get you and one other person… it's easy pickings."
"I don't plan on being part of this dumb party. It blows to begin with," said Atticus.
"You might change your mind," said Slacklax, laughing, "Everyone should have a lazy day."
Atticus watched as Cremelia, Slacklax and Shockhound left with their belongings, evaporating in multicolors. He turned around as he withdrew the Fossil Charger from the blaster. A blue aura surrounded him as his suit disappeared. Grayson and Lisa were smiling as Atticus walked away. Grayson walked over, "Where are you going?"
"Simple. Dino Paradise…," said Atticus, "You two are SO out of it… and for you two to give your energy crystals up that easily? Something's going on and you are so oblivious."
Dino Paradise…
A blue aura surrounded the area as Atticus landed on the ground. As he went to walk down the stairs, he noticed Joe, Thomas and Kyland all dressed in upscale attire. Kyland was dressed in an aqua polo with blue jeans. Thomas was dressed in a white polo with grey dress pants and nice shoes. Joe was dressed up with a black Hawaiian shirt with gold palm trees and a green necklace. He also had black and gold sunglasses. Leona was wearing a nice red and white sundress with ruby heels.
"What in the world is going on?" asked Atticus.
"Simple. We are heading to the club today," said Kyland, looking at him, "Look at you all worn out. That museum job really pushed it."
"Well, I'm glad you are all able to have fun," he said, "Well, I guess you can all go have it while I try to stop a monster that has your crystals."
"Shockhound said we didn't need them anymore so we gave them up," said Joe, grinning. Atticus turned around as he looked at him, "You would be the last person to give it away."
"Atticus!"
Atticus turned around as he stood there in horror. Mack was walking across, this time wearing a white dress shirt with a golden vest and black dress pants. He also had a purple necklace with a golden hat, "I can't wait to go party."
"Oh my…," said Atticus, looking at him in horror.
Leona turned around as she looked at him. As she grabbed him in a hug, she went to speak, "Lighten up, Atticus. Besides, who wants to fight anymore when there are other things?"
"Go enjoy yourself…," said Atticus.
Leona turned around as she broke off the hug. She was silent as she heard Atticus talk, "You're not going?"
Atticus shook his head, "No… I've things to do."
He already realized that talking to the five of them was not even worth it. They were already brainwashed by Slacklax and Cremelia. As the rangers got up on the platform, Thomas shook his head as he went to withdraw his Fossil Blaster. Pulling the trigger, aqua, grey, gold, red and black auras surrounded them as they disappeared.
Shaking his head, he turned around to see one person sitting at the table. She had her glasses pressed to her nose and she wasn't wearing anything out of the ordinary.
"Well, I'm glad to see them leave," she said.
"Jo…," said Atticus, "What's going on?"
"That's what I want to know," said Jo, "I've noticed a disturbance too. Shockhound has all 7 crystals?"
"That leaves you and me," said Atticus.
Jo turned around as she looked at him. Atticus shook his head as he went to sit across from her, "So, I wonder how this all happened."
"That's what I'm trying to figure out…," said Jo.
Atticus slowly nodded as he looked across. Drake was sitting there, quietly as he was shaking his head. Walking toward the two of them, Drake turned around as he went to speak, "Atticus and Josephine, I sense a disturbance… it will brew eventually but it looks like the two of you are going to have to handle this."
Atticus slowly nodded as he went to talk with Jo. Jo nodded in agreement as the two rangers began to investigate this a bit more. However, with little evidence they received, they really couldn't do much. Atticus thought it would be best to head back to the museum.
Oreburgh Museum…
"Alright, guys… let's move it out!"
Because the other rangers were indisposed of and were not helpful, Atticus had no other choice but to use the power of his six Pokémon plus himself to move the fossil displays and boxes in the museum. He turned to see his Empoleon, Grovyle and Torracat take care of the heavy loads where as Swanna, Seviper and Riolu took care of the lighter things. Each box contained a set of fossil displays which Roark wanted done. But, he also wanted to make sure that things were done smoothly. The first night was fantastic, but he had to make sure the other stuff was done on the to do list. As each Pokémon was directed where to go, Atticus grinned as he turned around, noticing Roark stumbling as he walked toward him… with his Graveler.
"So… how is it going?" asked Atticus.
"Besides the fact that every trainer wants to battle me for the Coal Badge, I would say I am doing fine. I've had like ten battles over the course of two days," said Roark, looking at him as he turned to see his Pokémon do the work. Roark noticed Atticus's Riolu was a little exhausted as he turned to Graveler, "Graveler, go help Riolu with the display."
Graveler nodded as he rolled toward the direction. Roark turned to see Atticus's face. It was half asleep and sweaty. Roark looked at his watch, seeing that it was above 90 degrees, "I see that it's 90 degrees… but it's no longer the summer."
"I know…," said Atticus, "It makes no sense. Not to mention what happened today."
"What happened?" asked Roark.
"Something happened overnight… like a switch turned on for the heat to rise. The others gave up their crystals to Shockhound willingly and they are out partying… I've seen other citizens act the same way. No one has come to work at the museum today either," said Atticus.
"Strange… I noticed some trainers didn't show up to do their gym battles today either. Some brand new and definitely some experienced. They all called last minute…," said Roark.
"What time…," said Atticus.
"I would say around 9 this morning?" asked Roark.
Atticus turned around as he looked at the scenery, "That's when I woke up and noticed it was a little toasty in the museum."
He reached for his Dino Com as he tried to press the right button, "Jo… it's Atticus."
"What's up?" Jo asked over the intercom.
"Can you take a look at the weather report around 9 this morning?" asked Atticus.
"Yeah… you have a lead don't you?" asked Jo, over the intercom.
"I think I do," the blue ranger responded with a grin on his face. Roark turned around as he looked over, seeing Jo with her laptop. Jo turned around as she looked at the screen, "Yeah, there was a spike in temperature not just here, but the whole world ironically. It started 2 in the morning around the Hoenn region and spread itself over. There's been news reports of people and Pokémon not doing anything…"
"Can we find the source?" asked Atticus.
"Well… that's the thing… I am trying to… hold it!" said Jo, "Atticus, can you find a place to display the screen on your end?"
"Well, seeing no one's here, the customer service desk," said Atticus.
As Atticus and Roark sat behind the desk, Atticus pressed the white button on the Dino Com. Immediately, a screen appeared with Earth on the screen, there was a red flame that appeared around the globe with the time index. There was a white spark that appeared. As it froze, Jo's face appeared, "I traced it… it came from a different dimension… the energy reading came from Ferro Fett's old ship."
"They must've created a weather device…," said Roark.
"The question of how they made one is very weird… but it makes no sense because Slacklax is the creature that doesn't use weather…" said Atticus, "He's not like Castform or other weather creatures…"
"That's the thing… I did do your battle analysis as well. Slacklax is being protected by a thermal shield. The shield blocks any attacks you make… this also includes if Leona had her blaster," she said, "The sun intensifies the shield power and because the source is coming somewhere in Sinnoh… there has to be a dimensional source."
"Club… wait," said Atticus, "Weren't the others going to a club?"
"Yeah, there's a beach party that everybody was going to," said Roark, looking at the watch, "Is there a way to find it on the map?"
Jo turned around as she looked at her laptop. Immediately, the map of Sinnoh was shown. As Jo moved her mouse, the screen enlarged to Oreburgh City. As the map got bigger, there was a green dimensional rift at the Oreburgh Mine.
"Of course, they would have a club next to the mines…," said Atticus, "Especially if they went underground."
"Here's my question though. Why weren't you and Jo affected by this?" Roark asked with curiosity. Jo turned around as she looked at the screen, "I was inside at 8:00am working with Drake. Atticus was sleeping in the museum, and you were already at the gym. The others were probably awake and outside. It only affects the people that were outside at the time of the event."
Atticus turned around as he scratched his chin, "Well.. I have a question."
"I'm listening?" asked Jo.
"If obviously they were able to turn up the heat… I wonder if there is a way to create weather of our own…," said Atticus.
"You mean… create a thunderstorm?" asked Roark.
"Bingo…," said Atticus, "If there is a shield around Slacklax with the heat… we can probably create something to decrease the heat and it should return everything to normal."
"And how do you expect me to create something like that?" asked Jo.
"Well… if you can make physical and special attacks into Fossil Chargers, creating a Rain Dance charger shouldn't be a problem. How many chargers do you have left?" asked Atticus.
"Many…," said Jo.
"Cool. I'll send Swanna over. She knows Rain Dance and I am sure you can acquire it faster," said Atticus.
"Atticus, I hope you are right about this. It's going to take time…," said Jo.
"Sadly, as much as I say we do, we don't…," said Atticus, looking at Roark, "We'll finish here and head over to help you."
Turning off the Dino Com, Roark turned to Atticus as Atticus went to grab the last remaining boxes. As he did, Roark looked over his shoulder as he went to help open the rest. Atticus turned to Roark as he shook his head. Roark took a deep breath, "Are you sure that Jo creating a weather device is a good idea?"
"Well… yeah. If Kyogre existed here, just getting a sample of his DNA to create a rainstorm would be easy… but this is Sinnoh," said Atticus.
As he went to lift the next crate, he saw someone's hands on it. Looking up, Atticus gulped as he saw someone very familiar. He was dark skinned just like him but was wearing a blue t-shirt with white and black shorts and black shoes. He had dark eyes and was wearing a blackish hat backwards as he went to help. Grinning, he turned around as his Greninja started helping the other Pokémon.
"It's been a while…," he said, "How are you Atticus?"
"Lamar Clayton… I haven't seen you since our last battle a few years ago. How have you been?" he asked.
"Really good. I heard you were in the area…," said Lamar, folding his arms across his chest, "But, it has never been this hot."
Atticus turned around as he looked at Roark and then at him, "You are correct. Yeah, I kind of took a sabbatical from Pokémon training… especially now."
"So…," said Lamar, looking at him and Roark, "Do you know why it's gotten so hot here?"
Atticus shrugged as he turned around. Lamar said nothing as Atticus looked at Roark. Roark shrugged as Atticus grinned, "Well… that's what I'm trying to figure out. But knowing my luck, the Poké Rangers probably know."
Lamar chuckled as he reached into his pocket. Atticus gulped as Lamar grabbed a crystal ball from it, looking at him, "It's a good thing I snagged this before I left. Dude, you don't need to lie. I saw it all… us Blue Rangers just got to stick together."
"Blue Rangers?" asked Atticus, confused, "And what is that in your hand?"
Lamar grinned as he grabbed a golden cell phone that was like a flip phone, except it was an upgrade compared to what it was used to be. Roark turned around as he saw that it was gold with just numbers on it. On the back of the phone was a letter M engraved.
"I guess you have been keeping secrets from me…," said Atticus, "I didn't know you were a Mystic Force Ranger."
"I was also… a Relic Hunter Ranger too," said Lamar, "Anyway, I overheard you making a device. Allow me to help without you even making a device."
Atticus sighed as he turned to Lamar, "Come with me."
Dino Paradise…
A blue funnel of energy appeared as Lamar looked up at the ceiling and the area. He looked across as Jo was sitting with her laptop, creating a silver rifle. The silver rifle had a green scope with a black charger attachment. There were blue lights heading toward the nozzle. She turned around as she looked at Lamar and then at Atticus, "May I ask…"
"This is Lamar… one of the Hoenn Rangers," said Atticus, walking toward her, "I think we could probably get this done faster without inventing a device!"
Lamar nodded as he looked at it. Pressing a green button on the phone, he swiped across as he stretched it out. Unlike his old morpher, the new morpher had a blue insert pop out, connecting to the phone with a blue raindrop attached to it. He pressed two buttons as he turned around, "I can make the place rain without a device."
"But…?" asked Jo.
"Trust me. By the time you finish that, every region will be burning up. Hence, why I am here…," said Lamar.
"Alright… well, if we are going to do this, we need to go in style," said Atticus.
Jo nodded slowly as she went back to her laptop. She then turned around as she looked at Atticus, "What do you mean?"
Atticus grinned as he looked at Jo, "Time to get our party on!"
Five minutes later…
Atticus walked down the stairs of Dino Paradise. He wore a blue t-shirt with Alolan palm trees on it and white shorts with black and white slippers. Jo wore a purple tank top with white shorts and purple sneakers. Both wore sneakers as they turned to Lamar. Lamar nodded as he looked at them, "So… what's the plan?"
"Simple. We are going in to crash the party. Jo will help you find a point where you can morph and use your spells," said Atticus.
"That's an easier plan compared to what I've done in the past," said Lamar, "I'm guessing these guys aren't so bright?"
"Well… I mean they worked for a bounty hunter who wasn't that great. Now, they are working with some interdimensional mastermind…" said Jo.
The three rangers looked up as Drake walked toward them. Drake walked toward them as he went to speak, "Just a heads up that they have seven of the nine crystals. Don't give them yours… get them back before Gircannon and his cronies use all 9 to find the tenth."
"Don't worry," said Lamar, looking at these two, "We'll make sure that doesn't happen."
The blue ranger nodded as he patted Lamar on the shoulder, "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's crash their party."
Later, at the Oreburgh Mine…
Club music was playing right along the entrance of the mine. Slacklax was sitting as he was drinking a margarita. Cremelia and Maracturne grinned as they were sipping glasses. Shockhound laughed as he looked at Turnchou. Turnchou turned around as he looked at the crystals, which were hanging on a string. Lionel shook his head as he saw so many trainers. Laughing, he turned around as he walked down the stairs, seeing the red overhang tent. He walked over, "This is your idea… a summer party?"
"Yeah… look at the rangers!" said Cremelia, "They are so dazed… and gone!"
Lionel turned around, surprised. Joe and the other rangers were taking shots of some type of hard liquor. Maracturne was laughing as Kyland stumbled as he looked at the others, "Party all day! Party all day!"
"So that's how humans are so satisfied," said Shockhound, looking at the others, "Well, they can enjoy it… once we get the other two crystals… they can enjoy drinking in hell…"
Turning around, Shockhound walked away from the tent, heading toward backstage. As he turned around to notice the people, people didn't run away. They were giving him high fives instead. As he started to head toward the exit, he noticed someone familiar. He grinned as he turned toward him. Walking toward him, he looked at him.
"How are you… blue ranger?" he asked.
Atticus laughed as he turned around, "I'm doing great! Shocky…. I am having a wonderful time. It's so good…"
He turned around to notice a closed bottle of Persian Lager on the table. He cracked it open as he sipped, "I could get drunk today!"
"Good… how about your crystal?" asked Shockhound.
"Me… give you my crystal?" asked Atticus, laughing as he walked beside him, "Sure."
As he went to grab his crystal, he took the open beer bottle and smashed him in the face. Shockhound winced as Atticus flipped the table. The table had a ton of drinks that spilled all over the ground. Shockhound looked in response as the Mooks arrived. Atticus laughed as he grabbed his Fossil Blaster and his Fossil Saber. Condensing the saber to connect to the Fossil Blaster. He charged it as he looked at the area. Everyone looked in shock. Leona stumbled over toward him.
"Atticus! Don't!" she shouted. Atticus elbowed Leona as he pulled the trigger. Mooks screamed as they were hit, blue beams were on repeat as explosions occurred, destroying all of the liquor and booze to begin with, breaking the tables. Cremelia turned around as she went to do something, only for Atticus to blow a few holes into the speakers. As the music system exploded, Maracturne and Turnchou looked at him as Atticus went to shoot more. As the citizens started to run, Joe and the other rangers went to grab him.
"Atticus, relax. You just killed the vibe!" shouted Joe.
"This is not a party!" shouted Atticus.
"Atticus…," said Leona, grabbing him.
"Look… even your friends turned against you!" said Lionel, "Despite how much damage you did… it took us forever to steal from the warehouse."
"Well, your party is over. I'll take the crystals…," said Atticus.
Before Atticus could, he felt something escape his neck. Atticus turned around as Lisa grabbed the necklace that had his energy crystal. Lisa walked over as she grinned, "Don't worry… Shockhound will have it in good hands! We are going to still party!"
Shockhound laughed as he turned around, "That leaves one more… but I'm sorry guys… I'm going to have to kill your friend. Slacklax!"
Slacklax jumped up as he landed on the ground. As Atticus went backwards, Slacklax grinned as a blue sphere surrounded him. Atticus would pull the trigger, but now with his friends next to him, it was risky. He gulped as Slacklax went to charge a red and orange energy beam from his mouth. Atticus gulped as the finisher was about to happen.
"Gi Gi Gigiru: Rain Dance!"
Suddenly, clouds began to cover the area. A huge downpour filled the area as the rangers were getting soaked. Slacklax looked up as his blue sphere began to get disrupted. As the rain intensified, Atticus pulled the trigger. Blue beams of energy pierced Slacklax. A blast of wind surrounded the area as Atticus broke free. He turned around, grabbing Mack's Fossil Charger.
"Aerodactyl Charger, Energize!"
Placing it into his blaster, he spun it as he raised it in the air, "Thunder Fang Blast!"
A golden blast of energy was released as it hit the sky and then back at Slacklax. Slacklax was electrocuted as he spun around. Explosions surrounded him as he landed on the ground. A flash of energy surrounded the rangers.
"What happened?" asked Kyland, "And I feel… happy!"
"Yeah, guys! HAHAHA," said Joe, "I don't remember either."
Grayson, somewhat out of it, turned around as he saw Slacklax. He shook his head as he turned to the others, "Why is there a monster here?"
"Who knows?" asked Joe, laughing, "Something must've happened while we were gone."
Leona giggled as she walked to Atticus, "Why are they here?"
"Well… it's a long story," said Atticus.
Mack, trying to shake off the drunkenness, turned around as he saw Shockhound with the eight crystals in hand. Dashing to save the crystals, a rainbow barrier appeared in front of Shockhound. Shockhound was hit as the crystals flew across. The crystals began to glow as they went to their rightful owners. Auras surrounded them as they returned to normal, physically. Grayson stumbled as he looked at the others, "That's better."
Jo arrived as she withdrew her glasses, "It's nice to finally stop this."
"How were you able to…," said Shockhound, interrupted by laughter. The rangers turned around as Lamar was stepping down the stairs from the stage. He laughed as he was looking at him, "We meet again, puppy chow."
"… YOU!?" shouted Shockhound, "You were one of those crazy people Gircannon tried to kill in Hoenn."
"Yeah… you see, you didn't really too much," said Lamar, grinning as he turned to him. He withdrew his Mystic Morpher. Lionel turned around as he withdrew his saber. Lamar turned around, noticing the attack. Lamar turned around as a blue aura surrounded his right hand. A black and white staff with a blue rain drop appeared. Blocking it, Lionel turned around.
"Wait…," Joe said, walking toward Lamar, "What are you doing here?"
Lamar grinned as he looked at Joe, "Don't worry, bro. I will handle this. I have no idea who you are… but it looks like you are bad news too…," he said.
Lionel grumbled as he pressed a red button on his saber. A red electric pulse of energy surrounded it as he unleashed energy. Red and black beams swirled around as it headed toward Lamar. Lamar stretched out his Mystic Staff, "Jinga Majuna!"
A barrier surrounded Lamar as the electric pulse reflected toward Lionel. Explosions surrounded Lionel as the barrier disappeared. Lamar quickly pressed 126 on the phone and swiped it right. A blue aura surrounded his morpher as he looked up.
"Ancient spirits of Magiland, grant me the power of magic… Magical Source, Mystic Force!"
Stretching out his morpher, a blue lightning bolt struck the sky as a Suicune landed on the ground. A blue Magiland logo appeared as he transformed into his suit. The Magiland logo appeared on top of him as his whole suit magically appeared. He had a blue ranger suit with a black M on his chest with golden stripes. He had blue gloves and blue boots with black and gold lines. He also had a golden belt with the letter M on it. Attached to his suit was a blue cape. Equipped on his right side was a black and white staff with a blue raindrop on top. His head stood straight as his helmet appeared on top, revealing a blue helmet shaped like a Suicune.
"The fluid water element, Water Magician! Blue Mystic Ranger!"
The Dino Charge Rangers stood in awe as they were watched the whole morphing process. Shockhound turned around as he went to withdrew his saber, "Why don't you take this!"
Yellow lightning bolts surrounded his saber as he released an electrical charge. Lamar grinned under his helmet as he saw what was going to happen. He turned around as he stretched his Mystic Staff, "Gi Gi Gigiru: Surf!"
Stabbing his staff into the ground, a wall of water emerged as he rode the wave, smashing Shockhound to the ground. He stretched out his saber and slashed Slacklax to the ground. Slacklax stumbled as Lamar looked at them. Lamar flipped forward as he landed in front of Atticus.
"Why am I fighting your battles? It's your turn," said Lamar.
Atticus raised his eyebrow as Lamar turned around, "I came all this way to stop the heat wave… now finish him."
"I'm just astonished with what you did…," said Atticus, turning to the others. Shockhound turned to Atticus as he went to step it up.
"Well, you blue rangers annoy me… especially you," Shockhound said, pointing to Atticus. Atticus nodded as he looked at him, "I've hated your guts since June… let's do it guys!"
The rangers nodded as they stretched out their Fossil Chargers, "Fossil Charger, energize!"
As Atticus pressed the charger, his blue energy crystal channeled into the charger. The nine rangers did a dance as they spun around, placing the chargers in the blasters.

Pulling the trigger, nine beams of light surrounded the rangers as they transformed into their suits.
"Tyrantrum! Dino Charge Red!"
"Armaldo! Dino Charge Black!"
"Carracosta! Dino Charge Blue!"
"Kabutops! Dino Charge Green!"
"Bastiodon! Dino Charge Pink!"
"Aerodactyl! Dino Charge Gold!"
"Omastar! Dino Charge Aqua!"
"Rampardos! Dino Charge Grey!"
"Aurorus! Dino Charge Violet!"
"Poké Rangers Dino Charge!"
Atticus stretched out his arms as he clenched his fists together, "It's about to get wild!"
Lionel withdrew his saber as he pointed at the rangers. Immediately, more of the Mooks appeared. This time, the Mooks had surfboards, ready to strike. Atticus rolled his eyes as he looked at Lamar, "This gets better and better…"
"You're telling me," Lamar replied.
Slacklax laughed as he turned to the rangers. As the rain diminished, the sunlight became harsher and the heat, unbearable. As the rangers were fighting the Mooks, Slacklax laughed as his blue shield began to shine. Jo walked over as she finished a group of Mooks. Looking at the analysis, she turned around as Lionel went to strike. Jo blocked it with her Fossil Saber. Lionel turned around as he went to use his fist, only for Jo to grab it. Jo stepped on his foot as Lionel was grabbed.
"So… you are after me?" asked Jo.
"I had a feeling you would be here to analyze what's going on. Let me distract you!" he shouted.
Suddenly, the Carracosta Shield started spinning across, knocking Lionel off balance. Lionel turned around as Atticus claimed his weapon. Jumping up, a blue aura surrounded his shield.
"Razor Shell!"
A blue aura surrounded his weapon as Lionel was struck. Explosions surrounded him as he landed on the ground. Jo turned around as she looked at Slacklax, "I can't find any readings downtown."
"Really?" asked Atticus, turning around as he tried to fight Lionel. Lionel laughed as he looked at them, "What you are looking for is pointless… haha."
Lionel pushed Atticus down, breaking free. Lionel released a blue energy beam from his saber. Atticus yelled as explosions surrounded him. As he fell to the ground, Lionel went over to strike again. However, as he went to strike, Leona dashed through as she used her Tyrantrum Claw, knocking the weapon down. Before Lionel could breathe, Leona smacked him in the stomach multiple times. As Leona went to get up, Jo turned around as she looked at the others.
"It seems that the dimensional rift disappeared here… but the rift must be higher…" said Jo.
"Are you thinking space?" asked Atticus.
Suddenly, there was a communication beeping noise coming from Atticus's helmet. As he went to press, Drake's voice could be heard.
"Atticus, I found the heat wave spot. It got relocated outside. There is a mega distortion aiming right at Oreburgh City… but it's in space…," said Drake.
Jo turned around as she looked at Atticus, "I'll handle it."
Lamar, who struck the last remaining Mooks, turned around as he flipped forward, landing on the ground.
"You guys are going to need something bigger," said Lamar.
"Yep!" said Jo, "And I'm going to need you. Do you have a zord?"
"Zords? You don't even have to worry about that. Why?" asked Lamar.
"We're going in space…," said Jo, stepping forward with her Fossil Charger, "Aurorus, I choose you!"
Pressing the violet charger, she threw the Fossil Charger in the air. A violet aura surrounded it as an Aurorus appeared, mega-sized, ready to strike.
"Aurora Change! Rocket Charge Megazord!"
A violet aura surrounded Aurorus as the zord began to roar. The tail of Aurorus detached as the legs began to shrink. The bottom half of the Aurorus Zord began to lower, revealing metallic legs and feet. The Aurous head moved to the front of the zord. The upper legs rotated to become arms. Silver and violet fests were generated from Aurorus as the tail connected to the left arm. A bluish-purplish head appeared with green eyes as a rainbow-like aura surrounded the back of the Megazord.
"Rocket Charge Megazord, battle ready!"
Lamar froze as he looked at the violet ranger, "Wow…"
"Your turn…," said Jo.
Lamar shook his head as he withdrew his morpher, "I'm going to have to ask for a ride…"
Stretching out his morpher, the blue wand like part slide forward as he went to activate his next spell code, "Galwit Mysto Magika!"
Pressing the green button, a white lightning bolt struck from the morpher as a blue Magiland seal appeared. Lamar jumped up as a blue light surrounded him. He transformed it into a mechanical version of Suicune. He had black armor on the chest with white armor as gauntlets. He also had the head of Suicune and carried a trident. He also had a blue orb in the center of the chest plate.
"Mystic Titan Suicune!"
Joe turned around as he looked up, "That's my bro!"
"Fascinating!" said Mack, "He can transform into a Legendary Pokémon?"
"But… there's a difference. These Legendary Pokémon are considered Legendary Titans of Magiland," said Joe.
"Your magical warlock whatever you call it is not going to make things work down here!" said Shockhound.
Joe turned to the others as he looked at Lamar, who was looking down, "Go with Jo, we'll handle this."
Lamar nodded as the Suicune Zord leapt up on top of the Rocket Charge Megazord. Engines erupted as the Rocket Charge Megazord headed toward the atmosphere. Down below, Atticus turned around as he looked at Slacklax. Slacklax laughed as the rangers turned to face him. Lionel turned around as he looked at the others.
"We need to get back so we can control what's going on!" said Lionel.
Cremelia, Maracturne and Shockhound nodded. Turnchou laughed as he looked at him, "Well… Slacklax… hold the fort while we handle things."
Flashes of energy surrounded them as they disappeared. Lisa turned around as she looked at the others, "That means the energy source is coming from their ship!"
"So…," said Kyland, "How do we fight a monster with a barrier?"
"We just need to break it…," said Leona, "Dino Spiker!"
Pressing the button, a blue charger surrounded it as Joe threw it in the air. The weapons were thrown up in the air as well. The Tyrantrum Fang stood as the base. The Carracosta Shield was placed on top of the Tyrantrum Fang. The Armaldo Claw and Kabutos Slasher connected to either side of the blaster. The Basitodon Drill connected to the end. The Dino Spiker charger went inside the front of the blaster. A golden energy surge surrounded it as Leona grabbed it.
Joe stretched out for his orange Fossil Charger, "Relic Claws, Energize!"
Pressing the button, an orange glow surrounded his hands as the Relic Claws arrived. As a black aura surrounded them, Mack turned around as he used his Golden Amber Saber.
"You forgot about me…" said Mack, "Aerodactyl Chargers!"
Placing three Aerodactyl chargers in the saber, he closed the Golden Amber Saber. A golden aura surrounded it as he grabbed it. His wings spread out from the back.
"Dino Spiker, Horn Drill!"
"Relic Claws, Crush Claw!"
"Golden Amber Saber, Thunder Fang Slash!"
While the weapons were charging, Kyland and Thomas nodded as they withdrew their weapons. Kyland's Omastar Cannon released multiple aqua spikes while Thomas's Rampardos Puncher released a red and blue beam of energy. As the beams combined, Leona threw the drill. Joe used his claw to release two black stripe like attacks. Mack released a golden blade of energy. As they all combined, Slacklax laughed as a red aura surrounded it. The shield absorbed the attack. As Slacklax winced, there was a crack in the sphere, but it was just enough to send all the energy back. Explosions surrounded the rangers as they landed on the ground.
Slacklax laughed as he opened his mouth, releasing a red and orange beam of energy. Explosions surrounded the rangers as they flipped over. Atticus carefully got up as he stumbled.
"How come this monster seems so weak… but the heat shield won't budge?" asked Atticus.
Meanwhile…
The Rocket Charge Megazord arrived in orbit as a stream of flames were shooting down on the planet. The Suicune Zord floated across as Lamar examined it, "It looks like someone is using a flamethrower like attack. Even though its oxygen less in space."
"Well, let's seal it up…," said Jo.
Lamar nodded as he floated toward the dimensional rift. A blue aura surrounded the zord as a humanoid form appeared. Swinging his trident, a blue aura surrounded him with the Rocket Charge Megazord in front of him.
"Spectral Beam!" shouted Jo.
Rainbow beams showered the Rocket Charge Megazord as the flames were disrupted a little. A blue aura surrounded Lamar's zord as the trident kept swinging.
"Mystic Trident, Hydro Pump!"
A blast of water, which turned to ice, pummeled into the flames, exploding the smoke that was surrounding the rift. As Lamar got out of the way, Jo turned around to release another Spectral Beam. The beams went through the dimension, shooting whoever was on the other side.
Ferro Fett's Ship…
"AHHH!" shouted Maracturne.
The ship was shaking as they saw the Rocket Charge Megazord shoot it down. The source was coming from the ship, but luckily Jo didn't know. Lionel turned around as he went to sit on the bridge, "Stand by to shoot them down!"
Turnchou turned around as he looked at Lionel, "Lionel, our ship hasn't been fully repaired. Our weapons are at half power. It took all those reserves to burn up the planet."
"Well… use it all!" shouted Lionel.
Meanwhile…
Jo turned around as she noticed there was something appearing on the screen.
"I see… the ship did it," said Jo, grabbing her Fossil Blaster. A screen appeared as two red crosshairs appeared. As they combined into one target, the three spun the blasters.
"Blast Off Cannon!"
3… 2… 1… LIFT-OFF!
The tail of Aurorus was released as it turned into a violet energy rocket. The rocket headed straight for the dimensional rift. The rift created a purple, white charge. The ship inside was directed back into the other dimension as a blue explosion occurred. Lamar turned around as he floated toward the ship. A blue aura surrounded the zord as Lamar landed in the cockpit.
"What'd you do?" asked Lamar.
"I think I sealed it…," said Jo, "I hope."
Back in Oreburgh City…
Slacklax went to strike, only for blue sparks to surround him. He screamed as explosions appeared around the blue sphere. The sphere exploded as the temperature began to drop.
"He's vulnearable!" shouted Atticus, "Leona!"
Leona nodded as she reached for her Fossil Charger, "Tyrantrum… I choose you!"
Pressing the charger, she threw it up in the air. A red aura surrounded the charger as Tyrantrum landed on the ground. Screaming, Tyrantrum turned around as Leona then took out another charger, "Tyrantrum Max Charger, Energize!"
As she pressed the white charger, she threw it toward Tyrantrum. Tyrantrum absorbed it as it transformed into a miniature Tyrantrum. Grabbing Tyrantrum, Leona used another Fossil Charger as the Tyrantrum turned into the Tyrantrum Max Blaster.
"Fossil Charger, Energize!"
As she pressed the Tyrantrum charger, she placed it in the Tyrantrum Max Blaster. A red aura surrounded her as her ranger suit appeared. A golden aura surrounded her body as a Tyrantrum emerged from behind her. A red aura surrounded her armor as a Tyrantrum face was placed on her chest. It was gold with green eyes. She also had gold armor on her shoulders. Turning around, she also had gold spikes on her helmet as her visor had green and ruby lines.
"Tyrantrum Max! Dino Super Charge Red!"
Slacklax roared as he released green and white beams from his claws. The rangers dodged the attacks as Leona aimed for Slacklax. A red and golden beam struck as Slacklax was pierced. Leona turned around as she looked at Thomas and Kyland. The two rangers nodded as they threw their chargers.
Leona placed both chargers in, one at a time. As she closed the blaster. An aqua and grey aura surrounded the Tyrantrum Max Blaster. A miniature Omastar and Rampardos arrived in a flash of energy. Aqua and greyenergy swirled as Leona had an Omastar arm with a Rampardos arm. She turned around as she looked at Slacklax.
"Tyrantrum Max! Puncher Charge Mode!"
Landing on the ground, she stretched out the Rampardos arm. The head of the Rampardos launched as the head punched the neck of Slacklax. Slacklax was thrown to the back of the tents, landing on the ground. Using the Omastar arm, aqua beams of energy struck Slacklax as he was hit. Slacklax struggled to get up.
Leona turned around as she looked at Atticus. Atticus turned to her as she gave him the Tyrantrum Max Blaster, "Finish him."
"Me?" asked Atticus, looking at Leona.
"You did great so far! Finish him," said Leona, smiling. Atticus nodded as he stretched out his Carracosta Charger. Pressing it, he placed it in the charger. A blue aura surrounded the Tyrantrum Max Charger.
"Tyrantrum Max! Hydro Cannon!"
A powerful cannon blast filled with water swirled around as it headed straight toward Slacklax. Slacklax yelled as explosions surrounded him. A mega sized explosion occurred as Atticus turned around.
"Done…," he said.
Looking up to the sky, a blue aura surrounded the area as Lamar landed on the ground. Lamar walked over as he shook hands with Atticus.
"Awesome!" Lamar shouted.
Jo, falling behind, walked toward them as she looked at the rangers, "Good job, team! And you too, Atticus."
Atticus nodded as he turned to the others, "I need a nap."
The other rangers started laughing, agreeing with said statement.
Sandgem Beach…
Music was playing along Sandgem Beach as the sun was shining high above the rangers. After a long, sweltering day, it was time for them to cool off and enjoy the wonderful sunshine in beautiful summer weather. Leona had a volleyball in hand, playing with the Pokémon. Mack was watching his own Squirtle and Monferno play in the sand as he was making sure Monferno doesn't go in the ocean. Turning around, Lisa was sitting on her beach towel, relaxing whereas Joe was talking with Kyland and Thomas. Jo, unfortunately, was still stuck at Dino Paradise. Jo was working overtime. All were wearing their bathing suits.
"So… that monster made us all lazy with the heat…," said Thomas, rolling his eyes, "That seems a bit much."
"Yeah, but if it wasn't for Atticus and Jo, I think we would have been cooked," said Joe, "They knew exactly what to do."
Lamar turned around as he looked at Joe, "Ahem…"
Joe turned around as he looked at Lamar, "Well, if it wasn't for you, we also would be cooked too."
Lamar grinned, "Use your resources… granted the other plan would've worked too. But, time was not present."
Joe nodded as he turned to the group. Kyland looked at his watch.
"Speaking of Atticus where is he?" asked Kyland.
Turning around, Grayson was running over as he went to sit down next to him. Joe just noticed that Laguna, his girlfriend, was walking with him as she followed suit. Grayson went to speak, "Atticus is taking a long snooze."
"Snooze?" asked Thomas, "On a nice day like today?"
"Well… he did save the day," said Grayson, raising an eyebrow.
Laguna nodded as she turned around, "He's got a point!"
Kyland chuckled as he looked at him, "He's going to miss out on all of the surfing fun though!"
"It was well deserved," Joe said, looking at Kyland as Kyland nodded slowly. Turning around, Joe looked up as he went to grin, "So… what about surfing?"
Kyland laughed, "Well, I never surfed before."
"Come on, Ky. There's always a first time…," said Joe.
Lamar looked up as he turned to Joe, "I agree… let's go!"
Kyland looked at Joe with a look of puzzlement. Within seconds it all clicked as he went to stand up and walk away, only for Joe to grab him by the shoulder and drag him to the ocean. Grabbing a black and purple surfboard, Kyland turned around, "Joe, I never learned!"
"If you can surf on Pokémon, you can surf on a board…," said Joe.
"You've learned a lot from us, haven't you?" asked Lamar.
Joe laughed as he put his right hand behind his head, "I learned from the best!"
As Kyland went to rebuttal, the other team members were laughing as Kyland went to run away, only for Joe to chase him. The other rangers continued laughing as Kyland carefully got on the surfboard, praying he wouldn't wipe out from the first wave…

Poké Rangers Dino Charge Chapter 34: Super Bowl Sunday
A/N: So… I had to do a lot of bobbing and weaving… because this was the chapter that didn't make sense when I first saw it. At the last minute, I decided to bring back Lamar from the Hoenn region because with how this plan was supposed to be, I would have to watch the whole episode again. There really wasn't a connection between the episodes. Lamar Clayton is the Blue Mystic Ranger and the Black Relic Hunter Ranger from the Hoenn series, so feel free to go through and look at some of his storylines.
I also thought it would be nice to see that the dimensional rift would not just cook one, but more regions. So, I thought bringing Lamar back from Hoenn would be a good idea to stop the heat wave.
And yes, people were out of character, but for good reasoning. It's not every day you get to think of summer parties! Now, that in some parts of the world, it is getting warmer. :)
Reviews are always welcome... and definitely needed! As of right now, I only have less than nine chapters left to write. I should have Chapter 39 done by next weekend and after the spring craziness, I should be able to get a head start for the finale chapters. There will be teasers for next season coming in the near future because planning has started. I will have the season finale date for Dino Charge in April's update and the season premiere date in April's update as well on Discord.
