Dino Paradise…
The rangers were standing around Josephine as the violet ranger was sitting down. She grinned as she went to stand up, seeing the confused look on each ranger's face. On either side of the room were their charging stations, but they were covered. Jo walked over as she took out both blankets. The rangers stood there in awe as they were looking at the charging stations. Rather instead of five ports per crystal, there are now 20 ports for chargers. Each crystal had 20 chargers. Jo grinned as she looked at the rangers.
"Wait… how did you do this?" asked Leona, looking at them, "That is so neat."
"Simple. After that crazy summer battle, I spoke with Lamar. Lamar knew people back in Hoenn to help replicate. So, it was a gift from the Hoenn Rangers for doing such a good job protecting the region. They each made 20 chargers for each ranger…," said Jo, looking at the palm pilot, "They even analyzed Dracozolt and said that we could use it if we need to… so we have 20 chargers for that."
She walked over as she turned to the auxiliary charger port. The rangers were in awe as they saw tons of chargers for every move, "They even created 5 chargers each of every single Pokémon move."
"Dang!" said Joe, turning around as he noticed the charging station. He walked over as he saw 20 silver chargers, each with the number 10 on it. As he looked at them, he turned to Jo, "So, they even made the 10th charger too."
"Yes, they did," said Jo, "However, we can't use it until we find the crystal."
"Well, whoever is the silver ranger will have a fully stocked supply," said Leona, raising an eyebrow as she turned to the others, "Gircannon and those goons will have no idea what's coming to them."
Jo raised her eyebrow, "There is one I created myself without help."
The rangers turned around as they walked over. The rangers turned around as Jo opened a silver case that was on the table. She revealed two different chargers. One was an azure charger color with the letter V written in aqua. The other was lavender with the letter X written in purple.
"Introducing the new chargers: Victory and Maximum…" said Jo.
"Victory Maximum?" asked Kyland, "What do they do?"
Jo went to push her glasses up as she went to speak, "Well, there's a long explanation, but-."
Looking up, the rangers turned around to hear the alarm. Drake looked up as he heard the sound. He turned to the rangers as the map appeared. The map zoomed in on the screen, toward Veilstone City.
"Looks like they didn't waste any time…," said Leona, grabbing her charger. She turned to the others as she went to step on the platform. The other rangers nodded, following suit to go help her, "Let's go!"

Chapter 34: Super Bowl Sunday
Veilstone City…
The sun was shining brightly on one of the most beautiful cities in Sinnoh as people and Pokémon were fleeing for their very lives. For Turnchou and Shockhound, they were wearing black headpieces with microphones and clipboards. Behind them was a humanoid Machamp with Braviary wings, Hitmonlee legs and a Helioptile tail that carried a football. The Mooks on either side, were wearing green and black jerseys with helmets. Shockhound laughed as he looked at the people screaming.
"I think it's time for a first down play… what do you say Touchdown?" asked Shockhound.
"Let's do it!" he said, "Lateral Throw!"
Everyone got into formation as Touchdown stood behind. The football was black and red as he looked ahead, "Hike!"
Catching the ball, he threw it to one of the Mooks. The Mook caught it and threw it to another Mook as they were running down the town center, one of them threw it to Touchdown. Touchdown stretched his foot and kicked it. The football began to glow in a red aura as it broke a window, landing in an apartment building. Upon landing, the apartment building exploded. Shockhound appeared with laughter, "Excellent!"
"What do you think this is the Super Bowl?"
Shockhound turned around as Joe and the others arrived. Thomas stepped forward as he looked at Shockhound, "Where's the ref when you need one for unnecessary roughness?"
"You and your football rules! Allow us to show you how we do it our way!" shouted Turnchou, "Shotgun play!"
Touchdown stood in the back with the center in front. There were five other Mooks around the center Mook and three Mooks to the left, "Hike!"
Catching the ball, the three wide receiving Mooks were running. Touchdown threw the football toward a Mook. Catching it, the football turned into a laser cannon. The Mook grinned as he pulled the trigger. A blue and white laser beam struck the rangers. Explosions surrounded them as they flipped on the ground. Buildings collapsed near them as Lisa looked around, "This is bad… I don't know a thing about football either!"
"That was a shotgun play…," said Kyland, "That football can create any weapon based on the play Shockhound or Turnchou create."
"Then, I think we need to play some football," said Leona. The rangers turned to Leona in shock, except Joe and Atticus, who were more excited. Thomas was blinking his eyes as he turned to Grayson. Mack looked utterly confused and Lisa shook her head.
"Do you even know how to play?" asked Kyland, "It requires strategy."
"Relax, Kyland. I can figure it out no problem," said Leona, grinning, "Besides, it's only fun right now to give them a taste of their own medicine. We still have some things we got to fix and Jo is currently up there."
Kyland shook his head, "Well, then you're the quarterback!"
"Gladly…," said Leona, "Does that make you center then?"
Kyland gulped, "Just catch the ball…"
"But first…," said Grayson, turning to the other rangers, "Recommend we morph before another thing happens to us."
Leona nodded as she turned to Grayson. The rangers reached for their Fossil Chargers, "Fossil Chargers, Energize!"
Each ranger pushed the button on their chargers, channeling their crystals to the Fossil Chargers. The eight rangers did a dance as they spun around, placing the chargers in the blasters.

Bastiodon, Energize!

The rangers spun the morphers and placed them up in the air, "Unleash the Power!"
Pulling the trigger, nine beams of light surrounded the rangers as they transformed into their suits. Leona turned around as she looked at the others, "Man to Man Coverage!"
Immediately, each ranger was covering a Mook or Touchdown. Touchdown grinned as he looked at the rangers, "Perfect… football time!"
"We are here to destroy the city… not play football!" shouted Shockhound.
Turnchou grabbed him by the ear, "Let them have their fun! Knowing their luck if they try to catch the ball, they don't know how to use the football."
"Good point," Shockhound said in agreement.
As the offense, meaning Touchdown's team, got into formation, the other rangers were covering.
"Hike!"
The center gave the football to Touchdown. Every Mook was being tackled by the rangers, running forward. Touchdown threw the football toward a Mook that was open. As the football spiraled, Kyland was dashing as he tried to grab the Mook down. The Mook tried to catch it, but the football slipped through his fingers and landed at a building, exploded.
"Incomplete!" he shouted, "Second Down!"
Everyone lined up, ready for the next play. Immediately, Touchdown gave the nod and yelled "Hike!"
The ball was then given to a Mook. The Mook started running yardage. Grayson grinned as he took out his Fossil Saber, slashing the Mook as the Mook fell on the ground. Grayson laughed as he looked at him, "That was easy!"
Immediately, a yellow flag was thrown. Grayson looked up as Kyland looked at it, "Now you've done it."
"What?" asked Grayson, "It's just a yellow flag."
Immediately, Grayson looked up as Lionel was sitting there. He had a black and white striped shirt covering his body as he had his whistle, "Personal Foul, Defense Green! 15 yard penalty… automatic first down!"
"WHAT?" asked Grayson.
"Way to go… Grayson," said Joe, rolling his eyes, "Try not to use your weapons."
"So, we can't cut them down," said Mack, looking at Joe, "This game is blasphemy! You suck, ref!"
Another flag was thrown down from Lionel. The rangers turned to Mack. Mack shuttered as he looked at Lionel, "What is this time?"
"Unsportsmanlike Conduct… Defense Gold! Half the distance to the goal! First down!"
Mack rolled his eyes as he looked at Lionel and then the others, "I don't know how to play this game!"
As they all lined up near the southern exit of Veilstone, Touchdown grinned as he looked at the others. They all bunched up together as they were kneeling. Kyland gulped as he looked at the others, "Get into formation!"
Everyone was bunched up together as they were looking at Touchdown. Touchdown grinned as he looked at the others, "Activate Tush Push! Hike!"
As the Mooks and the rangers did a tug of war to pushing on either side, Touchdown reached over with the football. As he did, he dropped the ball behind the rangers. As it exploded, the rangers flew backwards and landed out of the city.
"Touchdown!" he shouted.
As the rangers unmorphed, Leona turned around as she looked at the rangers, "Come on, guys! We got to stop them!"
"Thanks… but we have other things to do…," said Touchdown, "Maybe we'll see you in the offseason…"
A flash of blue energy surrounded them as they disappeared. The rangers turned around as they looked at Kyland. Kyland gulped as he turned to the others, "Looks like we need to learn how to play some football."
"Kyland, I think you are one of the few people in this group that watches the PFL…," said Lisa, "You know the Pokémon Football League?"
"Yeah, but if you don't know how to play the game… they are going to do the same thing to us but worse…," said Kyland, "Why are they exploding buildings with footballs is a mystery… but we're going to have to play to their level."
"What does that mean?" asked Lisa.
"We are going to create our own football team!" Kyland stated. The other rangers burst out laughing as he turned around. Mack turned around as he looked at him, "Are you crazy?"
"Do you want to beat Touchdown or not?" asked Kyland, "I told you. We will have to play by their rules."
"No offense, Kyland. We need to do some special training and where can we go for that?" asked Grayson, darting his eyes. Kyland grinned as he looked at him, "To the Fitness Center, we go!"
Ferro Fett's Ship…
"You see…," said Shockhound as he was looking at Turnchou. He threw his hat on the ground, "If we actually defeated the rangers and got what we were supposed to be doing, we could've obliterated them."
"Yeah, but why not have some fun in the process, Shockhound?" asked Turnchou, "At least Lionel was there with the flags."
"Enough, you two!"
The two villains turned around as Lionel appeared, still wearing the referee hat. He turned to the team as Cremelia and Maracturne stood there with happiness. Maracturne was making the jerseys and Cremelia was working on the footballs. Lionel turned around as he looked at them, "Using the footballs to destroy buildings and other places, we can find the rest of the stones and the last crystal. The footballs used today was just a test."
"You mean to tell me that the football bombs can be used at a greater distance then?" asked Shockhound.
"Bingo… Gircannon will be pleased when he gets back from resting knowing we've done this," said Lionel, walking toward the center of the bridge. He sat down as he looked at them, "Once the football plan is executed, the rangers will be running targets. They won't be able to play a first down, or even get through half time."
"We have now footballs adjusted to create a 500-foot radius…," said Cremelia, "That should be enough to knock down at least a city block!"
"Good…," said Lionel, "Make sure Touchdown tries it out… I want to make sure it works before we use it on the planet."
Cremelia nodded as she walked away, heading toward the exit. Lionel looked up as he turned to the villains, "Well then?"
Shockhound and Turnchou nodded in response as they turned away, heading off the bridge. Lionel shook his head as he looked at the screen, waiting for Gircannon to return.
Meanwhile…
The rangers stood in response as they were at the Veilstone Fitness Center. Unlike the Oreburgh Fitness Center, which had a gym and a Pokémon Training court… and a sports court. As the rangers walked into the center, they noticed that the gym had an orange background with some rooms. Walking into the center, checking in with their membership cards, they headed back. Kyland grinned as he opened the door. The rangers were in shock as they saw a PFL style football stadium. On the sidelines, there was Roark, who had a whistle with Jo, who was wearing a purple sweatshirt and black sweatpants. She had a lavender hat with a black whistle and a clipboard.
"What is this?" asked Leona.
"Simple. Training," said Roark, "I will be your Assistant Head Coach."
"And I'm the head coach!" said Jo.
"You should be on the field with us," Joe said, with a grin. Jo turned around as she looked at him, "I don't play football. But, I do know the plays…"
Joe groaned as he turned to the violet ranger. She grinned as she turned to the rangers. She had eight books that said "Dino Charge Playbook". She threw the books (literally) to each one.
"For the next half hour, you are to memorize one play!" she said.
"One play?" asked Lisa, "I don't even know how to play."
"It's on Page 5 in the handbook," said Jo, grinning, sitting down as she had her tea, "Get started."
Thirty minutes later…
"Scuffle!"
The sound of Kyland's voice echoed through the area as the rangers were fast feet for at least fifteen seconds before the command "Drop" occurred. As Kyland yelled it, everyone got to a plank position and then back to scuffling. As the rangers were doing this, Jo was giggling as she was on her laptop doing something as the rangers were warming up. Joe turned his head as he looked at her.
"I… hope… you… find… this funny," he said.
"DROP!"
Kyland pushed Joe as Joe fell on his feet, landing face first and then back at the top. After ten minutes of warming up, Kyland was basically playing the role of offensive coordinator… and quarterback at the same time. Their Pokémon were released, cheering them on.
"We are going to perform the shotgun…," said Kyland, "Joe, you are center… Mack and Grayson, you are my Wide Receivers. Leona and Lisa you are my running backs and Atticus and Thomas are my Offensive Tackles."
"Uh… you need a tight end," said Thomas.
"Fine… you are it," said Kyland, "Ready!"
The rangers got into position with Joe at the center. He had the football in hand as he shook his head, "This is ridiculous…"
"Shut it! Hike!"
Joe threw the football toward Kyland. Kyland caught it. As Kyland shuffled back, he turned to throw it toward Mack. Mack turned around as he went to catch it. As he did, he started running toward out of bounds.
"Yeah, that's it!"
Thomas grinned as he turned to them, "How about we up the ante?"
"Up the ante?" asked Jo.
"I see…," said Roark, "We need a defense so things can be done on a more challenging level."
Ten minutes later, Thomas was able to bring his own robotic Lucarios to the fitness center. What was different was that each Lucario had a jersey and helmet. The rangers, still curious about how Thomas was able to get them over here in the first place, was quite amazed at what Thomas had in store. Thomas knew little about football, but knew defense was key, especially fighting the enemy.
"So…," said Jo, looking at Roark, "That makes Thomas the defensive coordinator."
As the team continued executing plays, Jo walked over as she was looking at her laptop. She was looking at Leona as she turned to the new charger that she had in her hand. She shook her head, "I bet you she has to use Tyrantrum Max…"
"Well, you didn't explain how it works," said Roark.
"I never had a chance to test it," said Jo, looking at the laptop. She then looked up as Leona was running with the ball, the Lucarios were chasing her across. One of them stretched out his hand as Leona froze. Jo stood up as she used her whistle, "NO SPECIAL POWERS!"
"She's right," said Grayson, "That would be a flag."
Thomas rolled his eyes, "True. 15 yards at the spot of the foul."
Jo looked down at her computer as she went to look. Typing and powering the charger, she turned around as Roark looked at the screen. He looked at Jo as he crossed his arms, "Hey, Jo. I forgot to mention something…"
"Yeah?" asked Jo.
"When I spoke with Lamar the other day, I kind of told him our dilemma. He said there was a stone like what we have here but it was in the Slateport Museum," said Roark.
Jo turned around in response, "Really?"
Roark nodded as he continued speaking, "Yeah. I was going to talk with the curator of Slateport to see if we can get it over here. I was going to say it's for a fossil preview."
Jo grinned as she turned to Roark, "Let me know how that goes. Totally would like to examine it."
Ferro Fett's Ship…
Touchdown walked along the ship's bridge. Walking toward the group, he grinned as he went to speak to Lionel and Shockhound. Shockhound was cleaning his saber as he was speaking to Lionel about the plans. Touchdown scratched his head as he went to talk, only for Shockhound to turn around.
"Shouldn't you be training with your team?" he asked.
"Yeah… until I learned something today," said Touchdown, "Thanks to Maracturne."
"Where is the crazy cactus anyway?" asked Lionel.
The door opened as Maracturne grinned. Maracturne turned around as he looked at him, "So… the PFL postponed the Super Bowl!"
"PFL?" asked Lionel.
"Yeah. The Pokémon Football League!" Maracturne stated, looking at the screen, "Apparently, after yesterday's attack, the Sunyshore Luxrays and the Castelia Galvantulas is postponed. The Super Bowl was in Veilstone."
"Really?" asked Lionel, "That's a huge event on this planet!"
"It gets better! I analyzed the trophy. Inside the trophy, there's a stone like what we are looking for," Maracturne said.
Lionel crossed his arms as he turned toward Shockhound, "And what exactly is the Super Bowl?"
"The ultimate competition where two football teams collide…. Winner gets the Touchdown Trophy! It is custom made and crafted by Sinnoh jewels. It makes sense why the stone could've been picked up," said Maracturne.
"And how did you know about this?" asked Shockhound, eyeing Maracturne. Maracturne grinned as he looked at them, "I may have had one of the Mooks examine it. I didn't steal it though."
Lionel and Shockhound's eyes grew as they turned to Maracturne. Maracturne laughed as Touchdown narrowed his eyes. He stepped forward, grabbing Maracturne. Shockhound and Lionel stepped back as Touchdown squeezed Maracturne's neck.
"I… want… the… trophy!" he shouted.
"Well…," said Lionel, looking at Shockhound, "It stinks that he's just a monster. He would be great to work with on the crew."
"I know," said Shockhound, "Hey, if he defeats the rangers, I am totally giving him rank on the ship."
Dino Paradise…
The rangers were on their break, but hanging out at Veilstone Fitness Center. Jo was sitting down as she had the Victory Charger wired to a few things on the laptop. As she was cleaning up, she turned around as Drake was walking toward Jo. Jo looked up as Drake headed down the stairs, looking at her as he went to speak, "Why aren't you down there?"
"Because I need to finish the test for this charger," said Jo, looking at Drake, "It's almost done."
"Good… I sense someone outside one of our entry paths," said Drake, "He can't get in anyway."
Jo turned around as she sat in the chair, looking at her laptop. As she was zooming in on the security, she noticed a familiar face. Apparently, Lamar was able to find one of the ports, but he was accompanied by someone else. Jo, not thinking, pressed a button on the laptop as they materialized here. Lamar looked up as he turned to Jo, next to him was a female trainer, who hung on to him. She had short black hair down to her neck and dark blue eyes. She also had a tan shade of skin with an athletic figure. She wore a red barrette in her hair, with a white shirt under a short red jacket, blue denim shorts and brown ankle shoes. She also carried a black and red backpack.
"Lamar… and who are you?" asked Jo.
"Sorry… Lamar dragged me here as soon as he told me what was happening. My name is Rachel, I was the Yellow Relic Hunter Ranger that helped save Hoenn. I also was the Red Mystic Force Ranger, leader of the Mystic Force team, so nice to meet you!" said Jo.
"Thanks!" said Jo, "I am Josephine Holliday, I am Dino Paradise's technician and the Violet Dino Charge Ranger."
"And my name is Drake… Keeper of the Energy Crystals," said Drake.
"Yes, Lamar told me about you!" said Rachel.
"And… you… the next heir of Magiland after sealing Master Hades," he said.
Rachel grinned as she put her hand to the back of her head, "Yeah, pretty much. Right now though, I told my Magiland royalties that I wanted to continue exploring the world… and Lamar is with me, so…"
Lamar grinned as he looked at her, "Yeah… anyway, you mentioned about those stones and we wanted to give you one."
Rachel nodded as she opened her backpack. As she did, she picked up a lime colored stone, shaped similar to the others. As Drake looked at it, he went to touch. A green aura surrounded him as he looked at the stone, "Yes, that's it. Where did you find it?"
"It was found in one of our travels in the Hoenn region. We looked it up in the Mystic Library when we were fighting Hades and then we fought Team Aqua and Magma, we looked it up in Ranger HQ, there was some imprints on it, but no idea it was connected to here," said Rachel.
"Just like when Joe found the energy crystal in Hoenn to be the black ranger," said Jo, "Interesting."
"Joe as in Joe Cartwright?" asked Rachel, surprised. Lamar nodded as he turned to Rachel, "You didn't believe me, did you?"
"Well, I mean I knew he had that blaster and crystal, but I didn't know they were connected to THIS," Rachel stated, "I'm proud of him."
Lamar grinned as he turned around, "Where are they now?"
"Training… for the PFL," said Jo, laughing, "There's a new monster that is totally based on football."
Lamar shook his head as he turned his head to the screen, "Wow, that's interesting. It's good practice for them seeing that the PFL postponed the Super Bowl today."
"They did what?" asked Jo, looking up. Lamar nodded in response, "Yeah, the Super Bowl is postponed to next week. They didn't say why."
Drake's eyes opened as a blue aura surrounded him. The rangers turned around as Drake looked across. Rachel started shaking a little as she turned to Lamar, "Yeah, I sense it too."
Jo turned around as she saw her laptop. She clicked on the screen as there was a news report. There was a picture of a silver trophy with red and blue jewels. There was also a green and golden jewel on top with a Poké Ball logo etched into it. Two anchors were sitting in front as the news report begun, "This just in… the Super Bowl Trophy has been seized by a group of bounty hunters that have been attacking our region for some time. The reason behind this is unknown. A Maractus-Cacturne creature and some humanoid Bisharp stole it while fighting security."
"Lionel and Maracturne…," said Jo.
"Why the Super Bowl Trophy?" asked Lamar.
Jo laughed as she looked at the trophy, "Of course. Because of Sinnoh's Underground, the jewels are made for the trophy."
"Which means one of the secret stones is probably in the trophy," said Rachel, turning to Lamar and Jo. Jo turned around as she reached for her Dino Com, "Rangers, come in."
Meanwhile...
The sun was setting as the evening sky was approaching the Sinnoh Region. Veilstone Stadium stood to the far north of Route 215, next to the city, but also in the mountains. As Touchdown arrived, he laughed as he walked toward the stadium. It was white with orange lines across with the lights overhead. It was home to the Veilstone Cobblestones, with their logo being a black and orange fist. As Touchdown managed to break open the stadium, he and the Mooks walked around as they got to the open field. Touchdown laughed as he looked at the team. The Mooks arrived with happiness as Turnchou, Shockhound and Lionel arrived. Cremelia laughed as she was looking around with Maracturne. Maracturne turned around as he looked at her, holding the Super Bowl Trophy.
"I think it's time we have some fun!" said Cremelia.
"Why are we here?" asked Shockhound.
Suddenly, the lights turned off as it was pitch black. Immediately, a soundtrack was playing on the sound system. The villains turned around as they were looking at what was going on. The jumbotron on either side started turning on.
"Introducing… the Sinnoh Dino Chargers!"
"What?" asked Shockhound.
"Introducing Running Back and Safety… Red Ranger, Leona Sinclair!"
A red light appeared as Leona appeared on the field, with the jersey that had a Tyrantrum on it.
"Offensive Linebacker and Cornerback… Pink Ranger, Leona Evans!"
A pink light appeared as Lisa appeared on the field, with a jersey that had a Bastiodon etched into it.
"Defense Linebacker, Defensive Coordinator and Tight End… Grey Ranger, Prince Thomas IV!"
A grey light appeared as Thomas arrived, raising his hand as he ran to meet his teammates. He had a jersey with a Rampardos on it.
"Offensive Tackle and Defense Tackle… Blue Ranger, Atticus Coho!"
A blue light appeared as Atticus was running down the field. He had a jersey with a Carracosta on it.
"Wide Receiver and Cornerback… Gold Ranger, Mack!"
A gold light appeared as Mack was dashing toward the others. He had a jersey with an Aerodactyl on it.
"Wide Receiver and Kicker… Green Ranger, Grayson Himura!"
A green light appeared as Grayson walked on the field, shaking his head as he had a Kabutops logo on his jersey. Rolling his eyes, he stood next to Mack. Mack turned around as he looked at him, "Remember, it's all part of the plan."
"Sneak attacks would be better," said Grayson, sighing.
"Center and Safety… Black Ranger, Joseph Cartwright!"
A dark purple light appeared as Joe arrived with his Armaldo logo on his jersey. He stood with the rest of his team. The rangers turned around as the lights started flashing in aqua colors as the other rangers divided up. Shockhound and the others looked confused as there was an automated sound of the crowd cheering.
"And now… Quarterback, Team Captain and Offensive Coordinator, Aqua Ranger, Kyland Navarro! The 'Bomber Quarterback'!"
Aqua fireworks erupted as Kyland started running down the field, wearing his Omastar jersey. As the eight rangers stood together, a violet light appeared on the sidelines.
"Trained by our head coach, Violet Ranger, Josephine Holliday!"
"And now… the enemy team… Gircannon's Cronies!"
The audience went from yelling and praising to automatic booing. Lionel cringed as the lights turned on, showing them. Maracturne turned around as he noticed something was taken. Maracturne freaked out as he noticed the Super Bowl Trophy was taken. As it floated, a human managed to catch it as the sidelines appeared. Lamar and Rachel were dressed in black and white striped suits with a whistle and a hat.
"Refereeing the match is Lamar Clayton and Rachel… both former rangers in the Hoenn Region!"
Cremelia turned around as she looked at them, "Well, I think it's time for a song before we start."
The villains turned around. Lionel went to grab her, but it was too late. Cremelia was already standing up as she had the microphone in hand. Leona looked up in response, "She better not be doing mind control."
Cremelia laughed as she went to sing, "It's Sunday Night…."
"Oh no…" said Joe and Kyland in unison.
The lights turned on as the background music began. Rachel and Lamar were impressed by Cremelia's singing voice, despite the fact she was a villain. Mooks were dancing behind her as the rangers looked in confusion.
"This wasn't part of the plan," said Jo.
"You're telling me?" asked Lionel, "Nor was it ours!"
Suddenly, there was a loud announcement over the loudspeaker, "We present to you… the Sunday Night Anthem sung by Cremelia?"
Immediately, the Jumbotron and the lights were on Cremelia as images of Leona and Lionel appeared from past battle footage. Immediately, explosions occurred upon cue as Cremelia started singing down center field.
"Waiting all day for Sunday Night!"
Immediately, one of the Mooks on drums started drumming as Cremelia began to sing:

As Cremelia started to do her dancing, explosions appeared in the background. The rangers were surprised that her singing was good. The villains weren't too happy with her. The main lights turned on as the lights appeared. Lamar appeared on the sidelines with a coin. Both Touchdown and Kyland appeared.
"Coin toss… Touchdown heads or tails?"
"Tails," he said, looking at Kyland.
"Heads," said Kyland, turning to Touchdown.
Lamar flipped the coin. As he let it go, the coin dropped on the ground. He analyzed the coin as he turned around, "It is tails…"
"We'll receive the ball," said Touchdown.
Kyland nodded as Touchdown gave Kyland the football. Kyland turned to Grayson, who nodded in response. The rangers stood in a line formation, with Grayson in the back. The villains stood all over. Rachel blew the whistle as Grayson ran with the team, kicking the ball. The ball was caught by a Mook as he started to run. As he was running, the rangers tackled the Mook down at the 30-yard line on their side. Touchdown appeared as he laughed, "Let's do the play!"
The rangers decided to play zone as a defense precaution. As Touchdown called to start, the Mooks started scurrying around. Touchdown went to throw the football around toward one of them. Luckily, Atticus tackled the Mook ready to catch it. As the Mook landed on the ground, the football landed on the ground.
"Second Down and 10," Rachel stated.
"Come on guys!" shouted Touchdown, "They are pansies, they don't know better! Shogtun play…"
"Man to man," Kyland said, turning to each of the rangers. Each ranger went to cover a Mook, including Touchdown. As Touchdown performed the play, the rangers covered the Mooks without an issue. Touchdown turned around as he noticed there was an opening. Kyland went running, going in for the tackle. As he went to tackle, Touchdown screamed as he was tackled to the floor.
"Nice, Kyland! Yardage lost!" Jo stated.
"Third and 15…," said Lamar.
Lamar turned around as he noticed Kyland getting off Touchdown. As Kyland went to walk toward the others, Touchdown went to throw his foot toward him. Immediately, Lamar blew the whistle as he threw the yellow flag. Touchdown turned around, "He sacked me and deserves punishment!"
"That's Unsportsmanlike Conduct! Personal Foul: Unsportsmanlike Conduct, Touchdown. 15 yard penalty… 3rd and 30!"
"You've got to be kidding me!" he shouted.
As the team moved 30 yards away, Touchdown turned around as he looked at the other Mooks. The Mooks nodded as they stood in formation. The rangers stood in a line as Touchdown nodded, "Hike!"
Everyone spread out, even going past the rangers. Touchdown raised his arm as he threw a deep pass. As the pass spiraled, one of the Mooks was looking at it. Immediately, Mack dashed across as he caught the pass. Touchdown stood in anger as Mack was running the opposite direction of where the enemies were, only running yardage. The Mook grabbed Mack and threw him on the ground… 5 yards away.
"First and Goal… Dino Charge," Rachel said, pointing across.
Kyland grinned as he turned toward the others. Nodding, the rangers formed a cluster as Kyland nodded his head, "Hike!"
As Joe threw the ball to Kyland, Kyland gave the ball to Leona. Leona started running toward the endzone, only for the Mooks to knock her down. Kyland grinned as he turned to the others. Immediately, the rangers bunched together as Kyland went for it, "Hike!"
As Joe gave the ball, Kyland pushed through with the help of his teammates. The Mooks and Touchdown tried to stop him, but Kyland landed in the endzone.
"Touchdown, Dino Charge!"
Kyland grinned as he looked up in the air. The scoreboard showed six points on the board. Kyland grinned as he turned to the others. Grayson nodded as he was ready to kick the extra point. Joe threw the ball at Kyland. Kyland grabbed the ball and placed it as Grayson kicked it, going through the two yellow posts. Rachel and Lamar put their hands up, signaling the field goal was good.
"Damn them," said Shockhound.
"How does it feel now to finally be on the losing side?" asked Kyland.
Shockhound turned to Turnchou. Turnchou nodded as he went toward Lamar, who was conferring with Rachel. Turnchou grinned as he took the football covering and wrapped it around a black and silver football casing. Setting the timer, he closed it quickly and gave it to Lamar without suspicion. As Turnchou walked away, Lamar was holding it… he grinned as he went toward Grayson. Grayson turned around as he looked at Lamar.
"Here's the ball… I would kick it deep… very deep and fast," said Lamar, winking.
Grayson nodded slowly as the rangers stood in formation. As Lamar used the whistle, Grayson dashed as quickly as he could and kicked it. As he kicked it, the football landed right in front of a Mook. On contact, the Mook exploded. Turnchou and Shockhound stood in response as Turnchou grumbled, "I set a 30 second delay. Damn it!"
Grayson laughed as he looked at Touchdown, "So, I guess you didn't like we handled things."
"How about I handle all of you?" asked Touchdown, "That Trophy is mine!"
"Yeah… about that trophy…," said Lamar, laughing.
"LET ME GO!"
The sound of an emergency cart tore through the field. Rachel grinned as she wheeled Maracturne on a cart. Maracturne screamed as he was chained to the cart with the trophy. Rachel laughed as she looked at Lamar. Lamar nodded as he headed into the vehicle, "We'll bring it back to the PFL. And then, Maracturne will have to deal with us… magically speaking!"
"Wait a minute…," said Shockhound, "You're that no good water magician!"
"Bingo!" shouted Lamar, "Laters!"
As he hopped in the car, Rachel pressed the gas and drove out. Maracturne screamed as they left the building. Leona turned around as she looked at Kyland. Kyland nodded as he turned to Shockhound and Turnchou. Lionel grew angry as he landed on the ground, "You…"
Jo grinned as she removed her hat and glasses, joining the game, "It's time to hit the golf clubs, you three."
"Exactly," said Kyland, grabbing his Fossil Charger, "Let's Poké Battle!"
As Kyland pressed the charger, his aqua energy crystal channeled into the charger. The nine rangers did a dance as they spun around, placing the chargers in the blasters.

The rangers spun the morphers and placed them up in the air, "Unleash the Power!"
Pulling the trigger, nine beams of light surrounded the rangers as they transformed into their suits.

"Carracosta! Dino Charge Blue!"
"Kabutops! Dino Charge Green!"
"Bastiodon! Dino Charge Pink!"
"Aerodactyl! Dino Charge Gold!"
"Omastar! Dino Charge Aqua!"
"Rampardos! Dino Charge Grey!"
"Aurorus! Dino Charge Violet!"
"Poké Rangers Dino Charge!"
Kyland turned around as he looked at the team, "Fourth down and long… let's go!"
Touchdown shook his head as he stretched his fingers, "Not today! Mooks!"
The Mooks jumped over as they grabbed their robotic football bombs. As the Mooks threw them, the other rangers took their Fossil Blasters and pulled the trigger, shooting the bombs across. Mack nodded as he jumped in the air, grabbing his Golden Amber Saber.
"Thunder Fang Slash!"
Yellow lightning bolts channeled the saber as he slashed Shockhound. As Shockhound stumbled, Kyland, Thomas and Jo nodded as they grabbed their Fossil Chargers. Pressing them, they placed them in the Fossil Blasters.
"Tri-Fossil Blast!"
Aqua, grey and violet energy unleashed as Omastar, Rampardos and Aurorus electrocuted Turnchou. Turnchou landed on the ground, knocking into Lionel before he can do anything. Touchdown swooped across, slashing the rangers. As Leona got up, Jo turned around as she looked at her, "Leona, use Tyrantrum Max and the Victory Charger!"
"Got it!" said Leona, "Tyrantrum… I choose you!"
Pressing the charger, she threw it up in the air. A red aura surrounded the charger as Tyrantrum landed on the ground. Screaming, Tyrantrum turned around as Leona then took out another charger, "Tyrantrum Max Charger, Energize!"
As she pressed the white charger, she threw it toward Tyrantrum. Tyrantrum absorbed it as it transformed into a miniature Tyrantrum. Grabbing Tyrantrum, Leona used another Fossil Charger as the Tyrantrum turned into the Tyrantrum Max Blaster.
"Fossil Charger, Energize!"
As she pressed the Tyrantrum charger, she placed it in the Tyrantrum Max Blaster. A red aura surrounded her as her ranger suit appeared. A golden aura surrounded her body as a Tyrantrum emerged from behind her. A red aura surrounded her armor as a Tyrantrum face was placed on her chest. It was gold with green eyes. She also had gold armor on her shoulders. Turning around, she also had gold spikes on her helmet as her visor had green and ruby lines.
"Tyrantrum Max! Dino Super Charge Red!"
"Yeah… yeah… yeah," said Shockhound, getting up, "Touchdown… do it!"
Touchdown nodded as he stretched his arms and legs. Jumping up, before Leona could use her blaster, Touchdown slashed Leona across. Leona screamed as she landed on the ground. Getting up, Touchdown went to pick her up. Looking up, he turned to see Grayson and Joe strike. Grayson slashed Touchdown across as Joe pulled the trigger, knocking him down. Atticus tackled Touchdown to the ground.
"Take another sack!" he shouted.
Touchdown laughed as he used his feet. Spinning around, he kicked Atticus across as he landed on the ground. As Touchdown went to get up, Atticus turned around as Touchdown released green and red energy. An electric football was thrown as the rangers dodged the attack. Explosions occurred as the rangers turned around to strike. Leona turned around as she looked at the others, "Let's do it! Victory Charger, Energize!"
Pressing the charger, a golden energy beam surrounded it as she placed it in the blaster. The rangers nodded as Joe, Grayson, Atticus and Lisa stood behind her.
Victory Power, Energize!
Touchdown laughed as he headed straight toward them, "I will send you out of the game!"
"Game Over!" shouted Atticus.
"Victory Charge, Fire!"
A golden ruby energy beam unleashed from the blaster. The blast erupted into five beams of light, each from Tyrantrum, Armaldo, Carracosta, Kabutops and Bastiodon. As the beams pierced through, Touchdown screamed as he exploded into pieces. The rangers turned around as Shockhound and Turnchou were wabbling around. Lionel shook his head as he pressed a red button on his device, "Magna Beam!"
A green beam struck the ground. On top of Touchdown growing to mega sized, a few Giant Mooks were also growing together. Lionel laughed as he looked at them, "You guys are done!"
Leona turned around as she transformed the Tyrantrum Max Blaster to Tyrantrum. Pressing Tyrantrum's head, a red aura surrounded it as Tyrantrum grew mega-sized. Atticus and Lisa nodded as they grabbed their Fossil Chargers.
"Carracosta… I choose you!"
"Bastiodon… I choose you!"
A blue and pink aura surrounded them as Carracosta and Bastiodon landed on the ground.
"Tri-Fossil Fusion!" shouted Leona, Atticus and Lisa.
Immediately, Tyrantrum opened its mouth. Blue and pink energy surrounded Bastiodon and Carracosta as Tyrantrum ingested the energy. A red aura surrounded the Tyrantrum as the legs began to rise higher, seeing robotic feet. The Tyrantrum Zord roared as the upper body rotated, leaving the tail to be the left side and the head of the zord on the right. The Carracosta and Bastiodon jumped up. Carracosta shrunk its head, arms, legs into the shell. The tail transformed into the right hand of the Megazord. The Bastiodon raised its tail as it connected to the left side with its legs and arms shrinking, forming the left hand and arm of the Megazord. A human head popped out of the body. It was a silver head with a red helmet that looked like a Tyrantrum helmet. Green eyes glowed as it started jumping.
"Dino Charge Megazord, Battle Ready!"
Mack, Joe and Grayson nodded as they use their Fossil Chargers.
"Aerodactyl… I choose you!"
"Armaldo… I choose you!"
"Kabutops… I choose you!"
Flashes of gold, black and green appeared as their zords arrived. As the Dino Charge Megazord was fighting Touchdown, the Giant Mook released a green beam of energy, causing the zords to dodge. Joe turned to the others, "Let's combine!"
"Tri-Fossil Fusion!"
The Aerodactyl screamed as it swooped down. A golden aura surrounded the zord as it landed on the ground. The legs went from being bent to straight as the body was lifted. The wings folded into either side of its body as the body was now standing as a human body. The hands detached from the wings as golden arms grew out. The hands connected to the body as the head moved down to the chest. A human head appeared with a silver and black helmet that had an Amber Fossil on top. The head had green eyes.
The Aero Amber Megazord began to glow in a golden aura as two golden beams hit Kabutops and Armaldo. Energizing with the Fossil Chargers, the Aero Amber Megazord hands began to shrink, leaving room for both zords. The Kabutops Zord jumped up in the air. Folding its legs and stretching its blade like arms, it connected to the left side of the Aero Amber Megazord. The Armaldo Zord jumped up as it folded its arms and legs. The tail turned into a sharp edge nozzle. Everything else remained the same. Joe and Grayson teleported cockpits to Mack's.
"Aero Amber Shotgun Megazord!"
Shooting down the Giant Mook, Kyland, Thomas and Jo nodded as they went to get their Fossil Chargers.
"Omastar… I choose you!"
"Rampardos… I choose you!"
"Aurorus… I choose you!"
Throwing their chargers in the air, aqua, grey and violet energy occurred as their zords appeared. Jo turned around as she looked at them, "Let's get it done!"
"Aurora Change! Rocket Charge Megazord!"
A violet aura surrounded Aurorus as the zord began to roar. The tail of Aurorus detached as the legs began to shrink. The bottom half of the Aurorus Zord began to lower, revealing metallic legs and feet. The Aurous head moved to the front of the zord. The upper legs rotated to become arms. Silver and violet fests were generated from Aurorus as the tail connected to the left arm. A bluish-purplish head appeared with green eyes as a rainbow-like aura surrounded the back of the Megazord.
"Rocket Charge Megazord, battle ready!"
Kyland and Thomas nodded as they turned to the Rocket Charge Megazord.
"Tri-Fossil Fusion!"
The Rocket Charge Megazord began to glow as two beams hit Rampardos and Omastar. Registering them, the combination sequence begun. Rampardos folded its arms and legs. His body turned around as the tail was facing toward the back, but the head was the hand. Connecting to the left hand, Omastar jumped up as it connected to the head of the Megazord with the shell facing the air.
"Rocket Spiker Megazord, battle ready!"
"This is insane… all nine zords battling together," said Lionel, shaking his head as he went away.
The Rocket Spiker Megazord slashed one of the Giant Mooks. Turning around, the Giant Mook screamed as it was heading toward it. The Rocket Spiker Megazord pierced the creature with the Rampardos arm. Aqua spikes were relinquished as the Giant Mook landed on the ground. While that was happening, the Aero Shotgun Megazord released black beams of energy, piercing the other Giant Mook. The Kabutops arm slashed the creature as the Giant Mook landed on the ground. Touchdown dashed forward as he fought the Dino Charge Megazord. Struggling to fight, the Dino Charge Megazord kneed Touchdown in the stomach. Touchdown broke free as the Basitodon drill pierced his chest. All three were in the background.
"Let's give them a taste of our own medicine!" Leona shouted, "Dino Charge Saber!"
The three Megazords stood together, with the Dino Charge Megazord in the middle. All nine rangers withdrew their Fossil Sabers as the Dino Charge Saber materialized. Auras of each ranger filled the blade.
"Dino Charge Saber, Super Fossil Strike!"
Raising the saber, a golden circle was formed as replicas of Tyrantrum, Armaldo, Carracosta, Kabutops, Bastiodon, Aerodactyl, Omaster, Rampardos and Aurorus arrived. As the saber reached the top, a golden energy beam surrounded the whole blade as it went down on Touchdown and the two Giant Mooks. Green and blue electrical surges occurred as the pile exploded into pieces.
"Super Bowl Champions!" Kyland said in excitement.
"Hey, Kyland… don't quit your day job," Jo said with a grin on her face. Kyland sighed in response as all three Megazords stood together.
Dino Paradise…
"So," said Rachel, looking at the other rangers, "The trophy was brought back to the PFL and we took the stone out of it. Maracturne whined about it the whole time."
"What did you do with him?" asked Joe, raising an eyebrow.
"I sent him… to a place," said Rachel, laughing. Joe turned around and laughed, "Did you send Maracture to the underworld?"
"Well… I asked for help on that," said Rachel.
Kyland narrowed his eyes, "You asked Sally didn't you?"
"… Maybe?" asked Rachel, laughing.
Rachel and Lamar were standing around them as the rangers were out of their ranger suits, relaxing as the rangers had a purple stone in their hands. Leona turned around as she looked at Rachel, who was grateful for her, "Thank you for sharing the stone with us."
"No problem. Now that I know that this stone plays a role, I know it's in good hands," said Rachel, grinning, "And keep leading the team."
"I plan on it," she said, laughing as she turned around. Leona turned around as she looked at the other jewels that were in the bag. Drake managed to open the bag and spill them. As the other 14 stones connected with the other two, the 16 stones began to shimmer as they began to form into a shape. Immediately, it was a multi-colored sphere with only two slots remaining.
"So…," said Leona, "It's an orb of some kind…"
"And we won't know unless we get the other two," said Joe.
Atticus turned around as he looked at Drake, "Imagine getting the other two…"
Drake grinned as he placed his hand on Atticus, "I hope you all can get them."
Lamar turned to Rachel as he went to leave. Rachel nodded as she looked at him and then the others, "Thank you so much for having us help."
"No problem!" said Jo, grinning, "Feel free to drop by anytime."
Rachel and Lamar nodded as they stood on the exit platform. As Jo pressed a button on the laptop, a bluish-black aura surrounded Lamar and a red-yellow aura surrounded Rachel as they disappeared.
Outside…
Rachel and Lamar were heading toward Eterna City as they were heading through the Oreburgh Gate. Rachel turned around as she looked at Lamar, "So… I wonder what that orb is?"
"You are that curious, huh?" asked Lamar, turning to her.
"Yeah. I wish we could stay and help… but they must find their footing right? They are the first Sinnoh Ranger team," said Rachel.
Lamar raised an eyebrow, "Yes… but think about it. The first Hoenn team had next to no resources but Rayquaza. Our army is building and we need to help each other… especially now with Gircannon attacking."
"I wonder how he is still here… after he demolished the Hoenn Region a year ago," said Rachel, looking at Lamar with confusion.
Lamar sighed as he looked at Rachel. He placed his hand around her shoulder, "Rachel, that's a question I think we'll never get an answer for. Hopefully, the Dino Charge Rangers can make a huge dent in Gircannon's plot, get the crystals and unlock whatever orb they need to. In the meantime, we should celebrate somewhat retirement from ranger land."
"What do you mean?" asked Rachel.
"You have a Sinnoh Gym match to get ready for. Can't have Gardenia waiting," Lamar said in response.
Rachel laughed as she looked up at the moonlight, "Just like when we are in Hoenn. You never waste any time."
As she turned around, the two rangers froze. Lamar and Rachel knew exactly who it was as she walked toward them. She had blonde hair down to her shoulders and she had a purple t-shirt with blue shorts. She also had a red backpack.
"You're ears were burning, weren't they?" asked Lamar, "What's up, Sally?"
"Well, I heard you were here. Figured I check in. How's my cousin?" asked Sally, "I already saw the battle footage today."
"He saved the day," said Rachel, looking at Sally as she went to look at the night sky, "But, I am assuming you aren't here to say hello and catch up."
"No… those rangers need to secure whatever they are doing…" said Sally.
"What do you mean?" asked Rachel.
Lamar nodded as he turned to Rachel, "So, those crystals around their necks? They have powers beyond what we have… and that's what Gircannon wants. There is one crystal left, right?"
"Yeah… but those stones… if I am not mistaken need to be protected. I was going to go to Dino Paradise and see what's going on," said Sally, "My senses tell me bad things are going to happen."
"They are going to be fine. If we could handle things in Hoenn, there should be no problem. It will get rough," said Lamar, looking at Sally. Sally shook her head, "I'm not worried about the rangers. I'm worried about their mentor."
"Drake?" asked Lamar, "Why do you ask?"
"There's more to Drake than I thought…," said Rachel, "That orb that was constructed… he seemed very at ease."
Sally nodded in response, "That's because I think Drake is more than just keeper of the crystals. And I am sure the rangers will get to the bottom of it."

Poké Rangers Dino Charge Chapter 35: Exes and Besties
A/N: For all the football fans out there, this chapter was for you! I was super stoked on writing this chapter and I thought it was fun. Obviously, it may not have stuck to the plot, but to be real, we haven't had filler chapters like this in a while, so I will take and enjoy this. It was nice to have Rachel and Lamar back with a Sally cameo! Don't know if they will be back for the rest of the season. This was supposed to be aired on Super Bowl Sunday originally... hence the title.
So… yeah there are next to no stones remaining. All will be answered in due time. Next chapter is the last filler before we get into the nitty gritty. I still need to look over the chapters and revise them before I post them. I do need to keep writing, so there will not be an actual chapter update next week so I can work on editing Chapters 36-38 and I would like to at least finish Chapter 39. I hope to finish Chapter 40 by the end of this week as well, now that I have some time off this week only.
I hope to resume another update on Saturday, April 6th but that will only determine how far I get. I have been in non stop concert mode since mid-March, but if you haven't followed discord, eventually you are going to be seeing some random teasers for Time Force, which has already started its preproduction process. I didn't do that much yet... but I hope to at least start drafting ASAP.
