Chapter 22

"Lightning style: raijin grip!" Naruto exclaimed before his voice was overshadowed by the painful scream of the fallen angel.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" The fallen angel couldn't help but scream in agony. It was so painful that he wished he could die right here and right now, just to get rid of this unbelievable pain.

After zapping the fallen angel for a few moments, naruto finally stopped and looked at the fallen angel who was barely holding on to his life. After all, getting zap by 200 volts of lightning is deadly, even for fallen angels who are usually more durable then normal humans. So it's a miracle how the fallen angel managed to survive.

"P-please, please don't hurt me! let me go! Please!" The fallen angel couldn't help but whimper in fear.

Naruto knew that this isn't like him, but the war showed him that sometimes, brutality is needed to reach one's goal. And currently, naruto's goal is to find out who sent them to attack the church. So he needs to show this scumbag who he is dealing with.

"I will give you one more chance. Tell me who sent you to attack, and i will let you go."

The fallen angel looked at naruto with widened eyes and a gaping mouth. "R-really? You..would let me go?" He couldn't help but ask.

Naruto gave him a nod. If this were his old self, he would have walked closer to the fallen angel to hold his kunai on to his throat to threaten him further. But the war showed him that cornered or fragile enemies are the most sneaky and the dangerous ones.

So he kept his distance while holding his kunai in his hand to get ready for any surprise attacks. "If only you answer my question." He calmly said.

The fallen angel felt disgusted at himself for listening to someone else's demand, a human no less. But his life is much more precious then his pride. So he swallowed his pride which was like chewing and swallowing a piece of lemon and was about to tell naruto who sent them to attack, but he was interrupted by a light sword which was pierced through the fallen angel's chest and instantly killed him. The fallen angel's body fell to the ground with a thud and soon, it disappeared into purple particles.

Naruto blinked and widened his eyes in surprise. He didn't expect for someone to pierce his subject's chest from out of nowhere.

Suddenly, he heard someone making a sound.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. How unfortunate..giving up your pride, in front of a human child no less. You are disgraceful. If i hadn't finished you, you would have revealed our leader's identity." A person spoke from the shadows of the trees.

Naruto looked at the person with narrowed eyes. "Who the hell are you? Show yourself." He said with a cold tone.

The person who killed the fallen angel gave a quiet chuckle before coming out of the shadows and revealed himself. His eyes were covered by the shadows of his hat.

The person looks like a middle-aged man with a short but somewhat spiky black hair and dark blue eyes. He is currently wearing a pale gray trench coat over a white dress shirt with a matching ascot, black pants and shoes, a pair of black gloves, and a black fedora. He also has 2 jet black feathered wings, one on each side on the back.

When naruto looked at the person, he immediately tensed up. Something is telling him to be serious with this guy. "Shinten, can you sense that?" Naruto mentally asked.

"Yeah. If i'm sensing this correctly, then his energy level feels like a high jonin." Shinten said with a serious tone.

Naruto looked at the person before taking a glance at his black wings. "And he is just like those other creatures. Just what the hell are they?" He thought, before the person now known to be a fallen angel spoke up.

"Although, i can't really blame him since he was overwhelmed by your unknown source of energy technique. And your combat prowess is very impressive for someone your age. Tell me your name kid. Who are you?" The fallen angel asked in a cocky yet somewhat curious tone.

Naruto looked at the fallen angel and grinned. "It's a common courtesy to give your name first before you ask for the others."

The fallen angel looked at naruto and couldn't help but give a grin of his own. "I like you kid. What you said is definitely a fact."

He said before bringing his hand towards his fedora and slowly took it off. "So let me introduce myself. My name is dohnaseek. And i, am a fallen angel." He introduced himself before he looked at naruto and gestured with his hand to do the same.

Naruto didn't let his guard down and still kept his gaze on him before speaking up. "My name is naruto uzumaki, and i am a human." He proudly stated, even though he is actually a half human.

The fallen angel now named dohnaseek raised an eye brow at hearing his name. "Naruto uzumaki? It sounds more like japanese. And i have also noticed that you speak Japanese too."

Naruto looked at dohnaseek and shrugged. "I actually don't know about that. I remember that my orphanage caretaker told me that this name was written in a paper when she found me in front of the doorstep." He lied.

Dohnaseek gave him a curious look. "If you're supposed to belong to an orphanage, then how did you ended up here?"

Naruto gave dohnaseek a flat look. "Simple, i was kicked out." He simply said.

Dohnaseek closed his eyes and shrugged. "Don't really care anyway." He then put his fedora back onto his head and gave naruto a predatory look. "Although, there's one thing i really care about."

He then created a light sword and pointed at naruto. "And that is a good fight!" He exclaimed before rushing towards naruto in a blur.

In a blink of an eye, dohnaseek appeared in front of naruto and thrust his light sword right into his chest. Expecting the attack, naruto dodged it by bending backwards and let the sword pass through.

Dohnaseek was impressed at seeing his agility and quickly used his wings to fly upwards to dodge a knee strike from naruto.

Seeing this, naruto quickly did a few backflips before standing up with a wind chakra encoded kunai on his hand. He held it in a reverse grip before he quickly took a fighting stance.

Dohnaseek looked at naruto from above and gave him a smirk, before he dive-bombed at him while holding his light sword diagonally in front of his chest.

Naruto saw that from miles away, and quickly raised his kunai to block the sword that was about to cut his neck in a blink of an eye.

Dohnaseek widened his eyes in shock at seeing how naruto managed to block the sword using only a small knife that is encoded with an unknown energy.

Seeing his shocked expression, naruto took the opportunity and spun around to gave him a back-kick into his abdomen while he was still in the air.

The kick made him fly into a tree and he got slammed so hard that caused him to spit out blood from his mouth. Dohnaseek slowly stood up while holding his abdomen in pain. "Incredible, for a human child to possess this much strength. I need to finish him now before he becomes a threat in the future." He thought to himself before quickly deflecting a bunch of star shaped projectiles that has a hole in the middle.

But before he could take his bearings, two kunais had passed through from both of his sides and plunged itself into two separate trees behind him. Suddenly, a thin line has flashed on both sides which happens to be a wire, before naruto suddenly flew straight right in front of him and held the wire into his hands, and delivered a flying drop-kick into his chest that caused him to fly and crash into the same tree once more, also causing the tree to break in half.

The moment he got slammed into the tree, he coughed up even more blood from his mouth.

Before dohnaseek could do anything, naruto suddenly appeared at the top of his head and spun around downwards in the air while holding that same wire in his hands, causing the wire to suddenly bind him from many angles, his hands, his legs, his chest, and even his neck.

Naruto quietly landed on the ground right behind him while holding the wire tightly between his teeth. He formed a tiger hand seal before muttering, "Fire style: Fire dragon breath.

Suddenly, a torrent of fire appeared in front of naruto's mouth, before the fire went straight towards dohnaseek who started to sweat from the heat of the fire. But before the fire could reach him, a spear made of light had cut the wire and got him escape the upcoming attack.

The moment he got free from his binding, he quickly used his wings to fly away from the spot. The moment he moved away, the fire suddenly shot out of the wire like someone had just breathed out like a dragon. Which is technically not wrong since naruto did actually breathe-out fire like a dragon. After all, the jutsu's name is fire dragon breath. He just didn't directly launch the fire from his mouth but through the wire.

When naruto felt the wire a bit loose, he quickly ended his technique and started to look for dohnaseek but he couldn't find him anywhere. Naruto clicked his tongue in annoyance. " Damn it, He escaped!" Naruto thought to himself before spitting out the wire from his mouth. He quickly took a fighting stance and cautiously looked around while spreading his senses further.

With dohnaseek

Dohnaseek is now breathing heavily while wiping some sweats away from his forehead. "That was too close for comfort. You have my deepest gratitude for releasing me from that binding." He thanked his other subordinates who saved him from that attack.

"No worries sir. We are quite far away, so he won't be able to notice us." The other fallen angel said with a straight face.

Dohnaseek nodded before looking in the direction with narrowed eyes. "Who is this child? How does he possess so much strength and skills?" He thought to himself while unconsciously rubbing his abdomen in pain.

"Sir, when we were raidding this church, we found a girl who radiates the aura of a natural holy sword user." The fallen angel beside him said.

Dohnaseek widened his eyes before giving him a smirk. "And where is this girl you speak of?" He asked with interest.

The fallen angel nodded before stepping aside and revealed a captured xenovia who's currently tied with thick ropes and a tape on her mouth.

"We found her unconscious at the dojo of the church where they also kept the excalibur destruction." The fallen angel explained.

Dohnaseek is now shaking in excitement. "Finally, we found the excalibur fragment that we were looking for. And this girl is only a bonus." He thought to himself in excitement.

"Maybe i will give her to freed so he can train her on using other holy swords. He muttered to himself before looking at naruto's direction once more.

"Tell the others to wait for me on the other side. Once i kill that blond kid, we will leave this place as soon as possible." Dohnaseek said to the fallen angel who couldn't help but feel a bit unsure about his decision.

"Um, sir if i may interject. I believe we shouldn't go back there just to fight with that kid." The fallen angel beside him said.

Dohnaseek immediately snapped his head towards him and gave him a very nasty glare which made him flinch in fear. "Oh, and why is that?" He asked the fallen with a growl coming out of his mouth.

The fallen angel was shivering in fear but he held his ground and told him the reason. "Cause, sir, one of the seraph's queen is also here in this church."

Now dohnaseek is shocked. He would never imagine that one of the seraph's queen would be here with those other exorcists as well.

"Wait, now if i think about it, there are exorcists who don't belong to this church." He thought to himself before widening his eyes in realization.

He quickly looked at the fallen angel which almost made him piss his pants. "You said one of the seraph's queen? Who are we dealing with?" He asked the fallen angel even though he has a very good idea who they are dealing with.

The fallen angel beside him answered almost immediately. "Sir, it's griselda quarta, gabriel the seraph's queen." He said, which made dohnaseek shiver in fear.

Dohnaseek might be prideful and a bit of a battle maniac, but even he knew that fighting one of the seraph's queen would be nothing but suicide.

So with reluctance, he told his fellow fallen angel to just call the others and quickly escape this place as soon as possible.

The fallen angel nodded to his superior before quickly using a microphone to tell them to retrieve. To his and dohnaseek's horror, almost all of their fellow fallen angels got slayed by the exorcists from the unknown church and one of the strongest seraph's queen. There are only a few of them left which you can count on both hands.

Despite the bad news, dohnaseek quickly calmed himself down before snatching the microphone from the fallen angel and pressed on a button before he spoke up. "Hey freed, are you listening? He asked through the microphone which no one answered for a while before someone spoke up. "Yeah yeah you shity crow, i can hear you loud and clear." The person now named freed spoke through the microphone.

You know, i believe i truly suck at writing titles. So from now on, i'm not gonna write any titles.
