Superman Pov:
"What I find what's important than just being a hero and symbol for the world to look up to is spending time with family. Luckily, I've got my wife Lois and son John to come home to whenever I finish work at the Hall of Justice. Most of the time the people I work with who could do practically everything were once normal people who had normal families, who luckily enough spend time with since they know how to balance their ordinary lives. Though the one person I haven't thought about is Bizarro because he's always tried to be apart of my family since he shares half of my DNA. Despite the runnings I had with him and not fond of someone who has my face running around causing mistakes, Bizarro was someone I could consider an adoptive brother that I always wanted growing up in Smallville. Hopefully he's alright and having fun with his friends, who knows? Maybe he's starting a family by himself."
Prime Earth-Watchtower
Watching over the planet and keeping a close eye over their home was the Justice League who had handled numerous cases that involved battling a time traveling criminal, traveling to the future to meet their parallel selves that went bad to that of preventing the planet being plunged into another war by Darkseid and another hostile alien race. Right now in the board room was the Man of Steel along numerous other head members of the team. There were several stand in since the others couldn't attend the meeting, right now it was Power Girl who was representing Green Lantern and Aqua lad who was taking Aquaman's postion due to Arthur trying to make peace amongst Atlantis and the surface world.
"It's taken possibly an entirety of seven months to repair the damages that had happened after the sun got blacked out by Luthor's inventions. More importantly, everything is semi back to normal."
Flash doing an estimate of what happened during the last few months which left most of the hero community weaken since it all started with a stolen idea on helping the environment out. Only for Luthor to sell it off and align himself with a war like race that could possibly be equal to Apokolips itself.
"Normal hasn't been our strongest suite when it comes to us saving the day. Though you're right on that part. Things have gotten better with nothing else going off the rails."
Supergirl proclaim that despite enjoying fighting unnatural disasters and pushing her limits to be just as strong as her cousin. It was nice to relax for the time being which most of the team could agree that they needed a break, all except for Batman who remain resilient and wasn't interesting in taking a break since there was something he wanted to bring up.
"Okay, Bruce. You don't have to give us the silent glare all morning, what do you want to talk about."
Clark spoke out to his friend which earned him a low groan toward him since the topic involved his clone's 'friends' staying with Red Hood and his team. Activating a hologram to show Black Noir and Crimson Countess, Superman looked nervous and quickly apologized on telling Batman to speak his mind out about what was needed to be said.
"Since the arrival of Noir and Crimson. I've had several appointments looked over them with J'onn to see what their limits are. Canary has treated both of them with individual therapy appointments to learn more about them. They've been through a lot, especially the serum that's in they call 'Compound V' that's in their body's."
He brought up on the work he's been doing with the Martian Manhunter and Black Canary about the Supe's conditions and personalities since they weren't like anyone on the planet. Especially the training they each have since Noir is a skilled fighter but has mental issues while Crimson had trouble controlling her emotions to sending out explosive attacks.
"I still think we should have brought them in for us to train them. With how they appear similar to some of our members, the two could learn how to control themselves around others. Especially if they don't know how to properly handle themselves in the field."
Wonder Woman spoke out that while the duo had the same skill set as numerous heroes in the league, they don't have the same experience everyone in the room has along not having a normal life. The Dark Knight agreed with the Amazonian as he changed the two holograms to their civilian identities. Carly Marron, who works at a zoo in the chimpanzee exhibit where she was looking over the infant apes and studying about them. Black Noir's civilian identity was Earving. He works in Wayne Enterprises as security and learning to teach sign language to others who needed help.
"Which is why I helped find them jobs to help them feel normal again. No one should live life under a mask."
Batman spoke out that despite how much his alter ego had taken up most of his life and dedication in looking after Gotham City. He knew that no one could be like him, especially Noir since he could see similarities within him. From his upbringing to that of being constantly pushed to the limit, Bruce wanted him to have a normal life that made Earving know he wasn't Black Noir but a normal man.
"Speaking of the term 'Supes'. How are our former villains doing on the other Earth? Despite me not missing the times Grodd had me under mind control and trying to raise an army. I'm still concern for what might be happening."
Flash asked about Gorilla Grodd's current activity to what the others in the Injustice League are up to since they couldn't visit them. With that being said, everyone around the table heard the interdimensional device that Clark and Grodd made together to keep in contact.
"Guess you can ask him yourself then Flash."
Aqua lad responded Flash's curiosity as Superman settled the table as he turns the device on which he places on the screen for everyone to see none other than Grodd appearing. Each of the heroes felt unsure about what reason for the call was, but everyone kept a cool head since he hadn't abuse his new home to make an army and invade this Earth.
"Justice League. Despite the urge to curse you out for every humiliation you all put me through and that of ending my life during my ape revolution plans, I'm not here to make threats."
The gorilla spoke out in a dominate manner as the costumed people were getting old memories flooding through their heads when they each had encountered with the telepathic gorilla. That included the Flash since he didn't know whether to crack joke at how his fur started to look almost grey to that of asking how's life been since he could never attempt to rule over Gorilla City.
"Due to the current peace we have established in this Earth along the maintaining a handle of Supe activity. I've been asked to tell you all, that an individual has been invited to a social event."
He continued on as he sent a message through the device that appeared on the large monitor that showed a detailed invite to Barbara Ann Minerva and Maeve's wedding. Wonder Woman was taken by the letter along the other leaguers as it seemed that one of their fierce enemies was getting married, what was more surprising was that there were several names that would be allowed to attend it.
"The specifics of the invite and who will be attending is written down below. The one's that are invited can bring a plus one member or that of a family member. That is all."
Finishing the message before Bizarro stepped in to wave at Clark along the other leaguers before the video was turned off. The only thing that was left was the invite that showed the date, time and standard attire that would be worn during the ceremony.
"It's real."
Batman announced to the league which took the league by surprise again since he would doubt the invite in a heartbeat due to his detective skills along the way of not trusting anyone. Especially the friends around him since he'd have counter measures for the occasion if they turned evil or were under the influence of mind control. While taking precaution of who was invited, the dark knight took an open to open the list of who would be to attend the event.
"Kaldur."
Diana called out his name as the Atlantean boy realized that the only one that might want to see him is his father, Black Manta. The rest of the invite showed other surprising people being picked to come, from Clark to that of his family along with his cousin and Power girl as well as Barry and Diana. The others list were Black Noir and Crimson which seemed reasonable since they lived there, other than that. It was an interesting list of people being invited to the wedding.
"Damn. Guess I have to start getting the cosmic treadmill ready, along ask if anyone can make a quick run to my house and check if my tux is there?"
The speedster asked since it would take a while for him to locate the earth that the villains were on, which gave them enough time to get the guests together. With that handled, the group were heading over to the teleporting pads where they were discussing about the invites since each of the people that were picked were an unusual bunch.
"I know that look Bruce. Despite how the others may have changed on that Earth, you think the other guests could cause trouble. Especially the plus ones they'll be bringing."
Clark spoke toward his friend that while the others may have changed from their violent selves to that of being self controlled of their actions. The others won't see it that way since the rest of the guests would enjoy exploring the Supe earth, especially how they'd be unstoppable since the individuals hadn't meet the likes of anyone here on Prime earth.
"The only thing I want from everyone is be vigilant on who they want bring, especially the guests who are invited. We barely know what goes on with that earth, meaning while it is a wedding. No one lets their guard down for any reason."
He instructed them that despite it was a wedding and there was nothing evil about two people forming a bonding relationship. It was being hosted by one of their most dangerous enemies as well as deceiving since's put their world in just as danger as the others in the group. The heroes nodded to Bruce's advice since the wedding could lead to any conclusion, though that didn't mean they should be afraid of what could happen since weddings were always chaotic when it came to preparations. Each of them walked onto the teleportation pads to instantly be teleported to the destinations where they would retrieve the guests of honor, this left Superman and Batman to be together as the Kryptonian merely smirked at his friend on something else he wanted to say toward him.
"You really know how to make a command serious while hiding to be jealous on not being invited. If you want, I'll try to bring some cake back."
Clark stated since he was one of the invites that would be attending the wedding which left Bruce to sigh at how optimistic the Kryptonian was being. More or less that while have of the invites were heroes he knew could keep a reign on things when they arrive on Supe earth. Whether or not he wouldn't be there to have precautions for the people who will be attending, he could depend on the ones that will be going to have an eye out during the event.
Later-Gotham City
Traveling by herself in the air and looking over the city. Karen Starr was having trouble with bringing the person on the invitation over since she's been through much since last year. More importantly her boyfriend who was working under her since they were somewhat responsible for the alien invasion that occurred and blackening out the sun. Making her way toward the apartment where her boyfriend was at along the guests that would be coming with her to the wedding, the blonde haired Kryptonian had trouble going inside since it was a lot to ask them of traveling to another earth.
"I mean despite the fact that my boyfriend is half a criminal and mutant with the addition of his boss along friend is an anti hero mixed with a hint of crazy. They haven't been active in a year, so they shouldn't cause any trouble when I ask them about the offer."
Power girl thinking to herself on how to approach them as she was about to knock on the door to announce her arrival. Before she had the chance to do it, there was a crashing sound that came from inside as she opened the door quickly to see an unusual sight happening in front of her.
"Drop my babies right now you plant face sack of shit!"
Shouted none other than Harley Quinn who was trying to prevent her hyena's Bud and Lou from being eaten by a large Venus fly trap. Helping her out were her former mutant henchmen now best friends Bebop and Rocksteady who were tangled in vines. It was an unusual sight especially how they been out of committing crimes for a while, which might have left them stark raving mad.
"Babe? You here. Sorry if we're not prepared for a surprise visit, but help us prune this bastard before I start stomping Frank's brains out!"
Rocksteady asked in distress since the plant was overpowering them which left Karen to rush toward them and remove the animals from Frank the plant along splitting them up before anyone got killed. Tying up the flytrap and keeping the others at bay, she looked at the group to see what was going on.
"You shouldn't have came blonde bombshell. These mutts have been using me as a damn fire hydrant, best thing I do is fix them before they make babies with the dogs next door!"
Frank explained his reason for almost eating the two beasts which left Harley ready to attack Frank again. Despite having the urge to go crazy, the clown woman kept calm and looked at why Rocksteady's girlfriend was here.
"So what gives super babe? Coming to check if we're up to no good? Or to what we did to Lex after the fiasco on the moon? Sad to disappoint you but we've been going stir crazy. Ivy wanted some time to ourselves without getting caught in any fights. Meaning there's something for us to punch?"
Harley asked with enthusiasm as Power girl shook her at a threat that they could fill their need for violence. Walking over to pull out a printed out paper of the invitation, it showed Harley and Ivy's names being invited to the wedding as well bringing one friend or family to the event.
"Another wedding? Sweet. Because lately my girl Karai needs some new sights to see and I think it be cool to bring her along. If the brides don't mind me showing off a bad ass ninja babe."
Bebop stated since with how dull things had become for the gang and nothing happening, the warthog mutant was pumped to attend another villain wedding with a date and get crazy drunk at the same time. While the boys looked pumped in going, Harley stopped them since there was a small issue with this grateful invite to the wedding.
"As much as I would rock a bridesmaid dress and making everyone jealous, you might want to discuss it with my wife. Who's still trying to take time off from screwing the world because of Lex."
She stated that since her time being co-leader for the Legion of Doom and being treated badly by Luthor. Having remembered the incident and not thinking about Pamela, they heard the door opening which showed Poison Ivy with a groceries in her arms and needing help with setting them on the table. Bebop and Rocksteady rushed over to help out while Pamela took a moment to see Power Girl in the living room talking to Harley.
"Peanut. I thought we talked about not committing any crimes for a while until we get our shit together."
Pamela questioned her about what might happening as Harley shook her head at being responsible for any criminal antics as she rushed over to show her the invite. Taking a moment to read it along how Cheetah was inviting her due to the team up they did back in the old days when Harley was working with Joker, the red head took a moment to think about it along looking at Power girl if it was legit.
"This isn't some ploy to get us together and answer for the crimes we half committed. This is just a wedding with a bunch of meta's and nothing else?"
She asked Karen that it wasn't a trick that would send them to Arkham due to Batman keeping an eye on them since they had proven to be more than street level villains. Responding to her with a firm nod, Pamela grudgingly accepted the wedding invitation which made Harley jump in excitement as well as the boys since they'd be able to attend the event since they could bring a plus one.
"Your the best wife ever! Let me go get my things ready for the wedding, boys! Help me find my spiked bat."
Harley called out to Bebop and Rocksteady as the two mutants rushed over to their room and prepared to get ready for the wedding they'd be attending. While the trio were preparing, Pamela looked at Karen to see if there was anyone else that was going to be invited. Needless to say, the next guests would be a bit more difficult due to their occupation and status.
Later-Kahndaq
Within the depths of Egypt hiding from the sight of humanity was an ancient city that had survived the ages without being discovered by humans to that of the metahuman community due to the stories behind it. Especially that the kingdom was ruled by one of its strongest men on the planet, Black Adam. There he ruled with his wife in protecting its borders from invaders to that of supernatural forces that would takeover due to its mystical powers. Right now the royal couple was having a dinner party with two guests that Adam and Eset requested to meet with due to the circumstances that has happened over the past several years.
"Have to say Adam. Your wife makes a strong cup of tea, though a beer or two would make things lively now would it?"
Spoke none other than John Constantine as he was paired up with June Moone, the host of the immortal witch Enchantress. Who was not allowed to emerge since Adam and the witch made an agreement that if she would ever come to his country she'd allow only her host to be permitted on his territory.
"Well I'm thankful for you to invite me Teth Adam, it's my first time visiting a kingdom."
She thanked her host as well his wife for the invite since it was unlike her to be the one who was noticed since the Enchantress was the one who would be the center of attention. Having said that and preparing herself for what the topic discussion was, John merely waved his hand so he could get the conversation started.
"It had come to my attention that the three of us have had unusual encounters. Enchantress with the clown's girlfriend that has battled unusual threats, to that of myself and the warlock visiting an alternate earth with similarities to this one."
Black Adam started off with bringing up about their exploits here and that of Supe earth due to that despite the trio being powerful users of magic. They had been dragged into unusual encounters that have left them either confused or comfortable with the situation and gain something from the experience.
"The Enchantress has been hooking up with Harley Quinn? No offense love but that's mad, even I know not to be around her. But if we're talking unusual, the only thing I got from my trip on that nutball of a world was a gold shield containing the spirit of Eclipso and war veteran. They're hanging over my television set."
John saying his case on visiting Supe earth and taking the shield of Soldier Boy as collateral since it was the only thing to keep the dark entity from escaping after his old prison was destroyed. Eset could see how the two were confused by the topic at hand and decided to step in since it was important for the two to realize the point behind it.
"What my husband is trying to say is that while we are all powerful in our own right. It seems that we're being attracted to that of disastrous events, dedicating that there is more to come if we don't figure out what it is. The only question that's need is can we work together if another occurrence would happen amongst us."
She explained the reason since they were able to handle anything by themselves without the need of forming alliances or summoning help. It be vital that they themselves would rely on one another if they would be summoned again if it either involved an unnatural occurrence to that of preventing an invasion that would threaten their home. June and Constantine looked at Black Adam to see if that was the truth since he wasn't the time to form partnerships, though he did a small nod to confirm what his wife was saying.
"I mean. The Enchantress has been taking time to relax after the invasion last year, but I don't mind working with others like myself.
June offered her opinion on the matter that while it was exciting to be around Harley and the gang since they weren't supernatural beings like the Enchantress. It was always interesting to meet new people and learn more about harnessing her own type of magic, especially if it came from the likes of a thousand year old ruler and British warlock. Just as things had seem to be handled, Adam's attention went toward the horizon as he saw something coming toward them. Gripping his fist at knowing the visitor coming to his kingdom, the others took noticed as it was an invisible jet holding two passengers onboard which from how closer it was appearing. It was Wonder Woman and Supergirl who were on board and landing in front of Adam's palace as the king walked out to see the unannounced visitors who stepped off the jet to greet Black Adam and his company.
"Diana of Themyscira. Despite us being equal to godhood, that does not make us allies. Speak your peace before I ask you to leave my kingdom."
He spoke in a commanding tone at her since the two weren't on terms of being friends since Adam had always attempted to prove he was better than her Greek pantheon. The princess kept her composure and kept Kara by the side since the Kryptonian wouldn't mind taking him down since he enjoyed a fight. Walking over to pull out the invite, Teth Adam looked at it and had trouble reading it since it sounded peculiar and didn't know if it was true. Coming out of the palace was his wife and the others who noticed the arrival and the note that Adam was reading.
"The two dames are getting married? And I'm invited? Guess your wife was right to bring us together. This is the type of madness we need to be apart of eh love."
John stated and asking June since he could bring a plus one to the event, to which he knew that Enchantress would want to check out the wedding for herself due to the chaotic nature that Supe earth represented. Unsure of this invite, Adam looked at the warlock and handed him the wedding invite.
"While it is kind to be invited to a ceremony. My duties are to Kahndaq, I cannot go."
Adam declines the offer since his country needed a ruler that would make sure his land would be safe to that of his wife. While it was noticeable that he'd wouldn't partake in a joyous occasion, his wife however had an expression of doubt for what he husband said since it wasn't like him to back away from a social gathering. Gesturing him to walkover so she could speak to him, Eset spoke with her husband about it being important to attend the wedding.
"Sometimes having super hearing is a real pain in the skirt. Because she's giving him a mouth full of not being a good king in not accepting an invitation."
Supergirl stated as the three tried to not laugh at Eset talking at Black Adam like an ordinary person since they knew he could lift a building with his bare hands. Just as John was talking to the girls about what the attire and things going to happen with Cheetah and Maeve's wedding, June felt a chill crawling up her spine along the lines of seeing a nearby reflection to see the Enchantress smiling at her in a devious manner.
"Remember what I said back in Gotham City after Harley and Ivy did a number on Mozar? That a fight will be coming for them? This is her first real one. Just don't tell anyone, hate to see things end quickly."
The witch spoke in an eerie tone that she'd warn her that despite the hardships Harley and her friends had went through. Before she could respond back to the witch on keeping this secret, the reflection changed back to herself as the girl decided to keep it silent as she looked toward Diana and the others to avoid being noticed acting unusual.
"It's been decided."
Eset announced to the four which caught them off guard as she walked down with Adam in a defeated manner since he couldn't argue with his wife. Despite her being able to control nature and maintain a control of his kingdom, she was the only one to convince her husband into going somewhere that requested his appearance.
"Under the wisdom that my wife has offered to that of being able to look after Kahndaq by herself. I will be attending the wedding, even if it will be near the man of steel."
Adam spoke trying to hide any anger since being near Wonder Woman wasn't a joy, but being near Superman was too much since he was the only one that could beat him despite having magic that could weaken the Kryptonian. Despite that, he knew that Bizarro would be upset in not seeing since the clone had thought of the king as a friend. With that being said, the group would make their way onto the invisible jet so they can await to see how they would make their way toward Supe earth.
