Early in the morning, Lloyd is making his way to breakfast, hustling because he smells pancakes. You can't trust anyone in the monastery not to gobble up all the pancakes before anyone else can have some. He could tell that Arin and Sora were already scarfing down the pancakes, but there was also the sound of bickering.

"I'm not,"

"Yes, you are."

"No, I'm not."

Yes, you are."

"I'm sorry to interrupt your banter but what are you guys arguing about?" Lloyd sat down with his pancakes at the table.

"Sora says that I'm like a puppy, which is completely wrong." Arin huffed, chewing furiously.

"Oh come on does this face not look like that cute little puppy? Especially when you were younger." Sora laughed and cooed, while Arin brushed her off. "I have no idea what you mean."

"Mmhm, I agree Arin's like a puppy." Lloyd poured a buttload of maple syrup on his pancakes.

"What? Why?!"

"You have the energy of a puppy!"

"No, I don't!"

"Maybe start fanboying the ninja again and then you'll see it."

Everyone continued to eat their pancakes in silence until Sora piped up.

"So what do you think Lloyd is like?"

"Who me? Well I guess I want to know what you guys think of me."

"Hmm," Arin looked down at Riyu and grinned. "A dragon!"

"A dragon? Well, not a standard animal but, I could see it." Sora said.

"Oh, that's a funny coincidence." Lloyd chuckled.

"What is it?"

"I'm already a dragon," Lloyd replied nonchalantly, and could feel their questioning stares before the kids dropped their utensils onto the plates. "Well, part dragon."

"I'm sorry but how is that physically possible?" Sora asked afraid to know the answer.

"Remember how I said I was a descendant of the First Spinjitsu Master, well he was half Oni and Dragon." Lloyd took a large bite of his pancake and answered.

Arin oddly raised his hand, even more afraid to ask. "Do you have any dragon parts?"

"No, not be that I know of."

"I think I've won our little debate here, Arin." Sora nudged Arin triumphantly.

"Sure, but you know you do brush your hair a lot like a cat."

"What no I don't."

"Yeah huh, the first time I brought this up you were brushing your hair."

Lloyd continued to eat his breakfast listening to the kids quarrel. It was nice seeing the monastery slowly become lively again. He wants to protect this. He's heard of dragons being protective of their young ones. Perhaps he did inherit more dragon traits than he thought.

Finally after months this little mini serious is done. Of course if Garmadon was to come back he'd a fun little addition as an on I. Now I'm wondering what animal Wu would be?
