Chapter Two: A New Plan
Janja and his hyena clan were trudging through the Pride Lands, heading back to the Outlands.
Cheezi: "What's the plan now, Janja?" Hei asked, his voice filled with curiosity.
Chungu: "Yeah, what's the plan?" He echoed.
Janja: "Will you two furbrains shut it, so that I can think!" He snapped, trying to gather his thoughts.
As they walked, Janja noticed another baby baboon causing a ruckus in the trees.
Janja: "I think I know exactly what our plan is. Follow me." He said with a sly grin.
The hyenas made their way to the spot where the baby baboon was causing trouble. The little baboon was hurling fruits at some adult baboons below.
Male Baboon: "Hey, will you stop throwing fruits at us!" a male baboon shouted up at him.
Even though this baboon was still a baby, he's able to speak words.
Baby Baboon: "Why should I? I'm having so much fun," He retorted, laughing as he continued to pelt them with fruit. The adult baboons eventually ran away to avoid getting hit.
Baby Baboon: "Ha ha ha! They are such losers." He taunted, his laughter echoing through the trees.
Janja, Cheezi, and Chungu crept up behind him.
Janja: "Well well well, what do we have here?" He sneered.
Baby Baboon: "What do you hyenas want?!" He turned to face them, his expression defiant.
Cheezi: "The baby baboon can talk?!" He exclaimed in surprise.
Chungu: "But he's a baby," He added, bewildered.
Baby Baboon: "Hey! Just because I'm a baby doesn't mean I can't learn how to speak!" He snapped back.
Cheezi: "So Janja, what's the plan now?" He turned to Janja, still puzzled.
Chungu: "Yeah." He chimed in.
Janja: "Oh, I know exactly what the plan is." He replied, with a devious smile.
