Chapter 2
Makoto and Nephrite bought a box of cholocate and got home.
"Mako chan, it's really a pleasure for going out with you."
"Don't mention it."
"These sweets look so yummy."
They opened the box and saw there are some chocolates.
"Chocolates."
"Yep, Nephrite. Chocolates."
Nephrite ate a piece of chocolate. it was sweet, and crunchy, with a bit of chocolate cream inside.
"Can't believe our first food here is chocolate." Nephrite said.
"You don't like it?"
"I mean, It would be better for having some food, these are just only some sweets, it's not enough for us."
"I will cook later, Don't worry. Mind if I ask Ace to join?'
"You want him to cook for us?"
"Ace knows a lot of food, He has a habit of cutting choujus."
"Never heard of choujus."
"It's a type of monsters that he defeats in his series. And he had a secret, I'm not sure if I wanted to tell you."
"What secret?"
"He cuts them, by using their attacks. Because of this, he started to learn cutting in his hometown and you can't believe Ace starting to get more skillful afterwards, cooking food for his family and brothers."
"So, he's a chef?"
"Ever since we started to have this alliance, Ace sometimes keep in touch with me and taught me about cooking."
"He taught you cooking. So, did he cook something for you?"
"He cooked for me once, but don't get me wrong. At that time when me and Ace finished our mission, I just simply ask Ace whether he would cook for me."
"What dishes are you able to cook currently?"
"Not a lot. But I'll mainly cook for you, ok? I know I shouldn't hide that Ace is helping on my cooking skills."
"No worries, Mako chan. At least you still know I'm your boyfriend."
Makoto opened the fridge as she put a bag of pasta, cream sauce, bacon bits and some parsley; with some salmon on the side.
"Mako chan, what are we making?"
"Pasta."
"Pasta?"
"Cream pasta, with bacon bits and salmon."
"Is there a picture?"
"Yes."
Makoto opened her phone and showed the photo to Nephrite.
"So that's how pasta looks like….." Nephrite said as his mouth starting to water.
"Surprised? That's our first dish we would be making."
"Shall we start?"
"Why not? It's already 12pm, I'm hungry."
"So, what should I do first?"
"Let's start. I'l guide you." Mako said. covering the lid of the box of chocolates.
