In the demon slayer world we get to understand that tragedy isnt a thing to never witness. Its a form that hurts, harms the very beings of ourselves from within even as we grow and struggle. But what if that tragedy took its toll? Making us all hollow and straightened to the point we become empty inside?
The Hashira's and the demons share a tragedy in a different branch between who's better. But also the ones who have lost their emotions from life.
The one than no other who has become another victim to the demons and become a hashira is no other than Muichiro.
Muichiro Tokito, also known as "The Mist Hashira" is one of the first people who became one of the youngest hashira early in both training and in testament. Muichiro is a young boy with a lean figure. He has straight hair going down his back, fading to a turquoise and empty turquoise eyes. He wears a dark turquoise fainted unifoem with longer sleeves that at times cover his hands, blue tabi socks, and a pair of white zori's.
Given his title, Muichiro is an expressionless person almost as if his heads are in the clounds. Others believe he is hollow given that he doesn't show emotions and only cares about himself. like all other demon slayers, he upholds his reputation in high regard as a hashira.
He also has created his own breathing style known as Mist Breathing. How he created it is unknown. What is theorized for this is it could be from the former water hashira given mist is from water, but in regards of its origin remains foggy. Whay is certain is Muchiro achieved in becoming a hashira in a period in just two months prior after training. This breathing style is as impeccable as it sounds, this form boosts Muichiro's speed and reflxes and unlike Shinobu who is faster then the rest, Muchiro's speed is between both her and sanemi given his determination making him one of the most straightforward swordsman.
So, who is muchiro and how did he become emotionless?
As it turns out, he wasn't always a lost head in the clouds. He did harbor emotions, thoughts and feelings just like people do. He lost his parents not too long ago and he had a brother he lived alingaids with. After the loss of their mother, he and his brother were the only one's striving in the world for survival in their childhood years. Both took care of one another, taken care of the home they shared and the memories they have formed daily in their lives. That is until one night, both were attacked by a demon that invaded their home and tried to kill them both, muichiro's brother defended him with all he got leaving him severely wounded by the hands of the demon, muichiro witnessing his brother being murdered striked a cord in his heart, a quelling consuming feeling. Blinded by rage Muchiro grabbed a weapon and in a flash slashed, beaten, clawed at the attacker.
Until sunrise came up, the demons body reduced to ash leaving a half tired muichiro alive. After the battle, Muichiro's brothers succumb to his injuries and unable to do anything cried for his brother's death pleading to the heavens to not leave him.
After the death of his brother and now the only sole survivor of his family. Muichiro soon joined the demon slayer corps during his several months of training. Clouded by rage and devotion, Muichiro casted all his emotions aside, turning him into the person we see him as today.
Another shocking fact, Muichiro comes from the bloodline of kokushibo! A descendant from the past hence his sword style and physical potential.
So what would happen if he joined the loki familia?
Well, Just like Obanai, Muichiro wouldnt care for allies given his lost of emotions and would rather focus on the goals ahead. To adventurers he'd be like a second ais to them given he is quiet and almost looks like a doll and also seemingly airheaded. He wouldnt remember the names, titles or anything someone tells him too.
Even tione and tiona would likely lightly tease him given his nature, or course he wouldnt be no softie given his spare time. Others would likely start to hate him as well several may praise his speed, adapability to fight and wit in defenses but would still forget what they say about him.
As for the dungeon, given his speed, mist breathing and keen senses he can slice and dice the monsters he faces into pieces. no matter how big or small he can tear some down with ease without having backup for a while.
His role though within the loki familia would be complicated and struggling in some cases as well as his mood swings and straightness.
Muichiro may look empty but he is one of the most unique and badass swordsman you dont wanna mess with you.
next time your head is in the clouds, watch out. Cause the mist hashira will bring you down in a misty flash.
