AN: Not my best chapter.

Chapter 5

A man with pale skin and pale-blue hair kept in a long ponytail. His hair was parted down the middle in a zig-zag pattern, and his head was adorned with a pair of flat, curved horns which resembled bulls horns. His facial features were delicate and his eyebrows were cut very short. He was dressed in traditional nobleman's attire consisting of a white kariginu hunting robe, baggy pants, a pair of tengu-geta, and a single black glove on his left hand, with a hole cut into the palm for his red rinnegan. Like Kaguya he had the byakugan.

Floating in the air next to him was an older man with a full beard, and a long horn above his left eye. His hands were big and he had a burly physique accompanied with a towering height that reached over two meters. He wore a pale blue shirt with back cuffs and a high collar over which he wore another darker appendage with a gray sash wrapped around his waist. He also wore gray pants and black, flat shoes on his feet which were upturned at the toes.

Shikamaru really wished Sasuke was here to help Naruto fight these guys. Peace is not an option here.

"I thought I sensed a massive amount of chakra, I was right, but it looks like you're almost out, Naruto Uzumaki." The younger man said.

"You know me?"

"I do, every Otsutsuki knows you and Sasuke Uchiha, you both defeated the exile Kaguya."

"Exile, she must've done something pretty bad to be exiled and left behind." Naruto said. "By the way, you know my name but I don't know yours."

"Momoshiki Otsutsuki, it's your honor." He said. "This is my guardian, Kinshiki."

The duo floated to the ground with Momoshiki never taking his eyes off of Naruto who was wondering if he could take both of them in his current state. The answer was no. Hold them off for a bit? Sure, but killing was another matter.

Momoshiki looked at Poval, he frowned. His expression scrunched up in disgust like he was looking at an insect who'd just landed on his food.

"Your kind will pay for making me waste my time, I assure you that your death will not be pleasant."

Poval backed away, running behind Naruto who was considering his options.

"I don't suppose you can just let the Lacerta live, I can't give you back the time you wasted, but I can give you a chance to leave peacefully." Naruto said. 'Relying solely on quintessence and natural energy could give me a chance to take out at least one of them, maybe.'

"Leave peacefully, now why would I leave when I've found a world so suitable to plant a Shinju?" Momoshiki asked as his eyes went to the Rhapsody and then the pointed ears everyone had. "You undid the genetic sealing."

Momoshiki pointed to his short ears.

"We didn't escape unscathed, we lost our pointed ears, but our ancestors evolved majestic horns in response." He explained. "Now then, do me a favor and die."

Kinshiki charged in with a red ax made of red chakra in hand. Naruto redirected the attack with his left hand, noting that it was solid and packed with power.

Kicking Kinshiki in the face, he caused the old man to stumble backwards, but not by much. The Otsutsuki recovered quickly and attacked with a kanabo. Naruto proceeded to dodge and redirect what he could, but redirecting caused damage. Worse yet Kinshiki was getting some decent hits in.

'Gotta concentrate on gathering natural energy and merging it with my quintessence!'

'I'll do what I can, just focus on not dying!' Kurama said as he gathered natural energy as well.

Just as he said that, Kinshiki managed to hit the blonde in the face, hard enough to make him back away. Naruto wiped the blood that dripped from his mouth. It had been a while since anyone had made him actually bleed.

"Disappointing." Kinshiki said.

"Only because he used so much chakra saving these insects, at full power he would actually prove to be entertaining." Momoshiki said.

'Here's what I've got!'

Naruto suddenly moved with incredible speed, and with a powerful kick he sent Kinshiki flying. Breaking a part of the man's horn off before disappearing in a yellow flash.

"Kōsoku no renda!"

So many flashes of yellow came in and out of existence. Kinshiki was being punched from all angles with enough force to actually hurt him. Reacting wasn't possible, not with how fast Naruto was going.

"Senkō-dan Rasengan!"

Ten rasengans the size of bullets tore through the man's body at insane speed. The flash bullet rasengan multiple times. Naruto then punched the man with enough force to knock him out cold. That was what Kurama had gathered, Naruto then went back to gathering as best he could.

"Congratulations, you beat up an old man, I hope that you're–"

Momoshiki suddenly and casually slapped away a large caliber bullet that Garrus had fired at him from cover. The back of his hand was smoking, but there was no damage. He looked at Garrus, unimpressed by the pointless attack. Before he could say anything, Shepard and the others began shooting at him with the shinobi joining in with their projectile weapons. They'd learned about Kaguya and how she could absorb chakra so jutsu wasn't an option.

Poval even joined in via taking Shepard's pistol. The guardian had never actually used a gun in combat or at all, but she could copy what she saw.

"Shit, shit, shit, shit–ancestors forgive me, but why the fuck is this happening to us?!"

Naruto could only watch while he gathered what he needed. They clearly saw that he didn't have the power to beat them, not in this state. So he gathered more and more natural energy even tapping into the quintessence in the planet.

Kill Momoshiki Otsutsuki at all costs!

This was the message he heard from the planet itself. Momoshiki was stronger than him right now and that needed to change right now. The Otsutsuki had gone through a different evolutionary route thousands of years ago and it gave them clear advantages. He needed those advantages so he could take down Momoshiki and fight any other Otsutsuki that would dare to threaten his precious people.

Naruto suddenly felt his horns and ears shifting and shrinking. His ears were back to normal, but atop his head was a single white horn. Identical to the ones that Kaguya had. On the left side of his face and over his eye was a black line with six little lines on each side almost as if it was threatening to spread. The main line wasn't too big or too small.

Momoshiki sensed this and turned his attention to Naruto and glared at him. The blonde wasn't supposed to be able to get his strength back so quickly, and he sure as hell wasn't supposed to have that. Naruto disappeared, moving at speed above what his base form usually had.

Momoshiki jumped away just in time to avoid a punch to the head.

"Hmph." – "It looks like there's more Otsutsuki in you than I thought."

Naruto said nothing as he dashed forward with a punch that Momoshiki blocked. The older man was sent backwards much to his shock. Naruto didn't let up as he engaged Momoshiki in close combat.

"Back away!" Shikamaru exclaimed.

Shepard did so, but watched in fascination as two skilled fighters fought with nothing except their fists. Their speed alone was amazing and she couldn't imagine how strong they actually were. Naruto had shown her how easily he could punch through barriers and armor. Human flesh and bone stood no match against him. The punches she was seeing were definitely meant to kill.

Naruto tanked a punch to the face and strikes at his chakra points and organs. Momoshiki was fast, and getting faster every second. There was something off though, Momoshiki was strong, but his moves were becoming predictable.

'Let's see how he likes this!'

Their fists clashed and then their palms and then their fingers. Copying Momoshiki's movements was easy enough once he sped up enough. Now it was time to really piss him off. It was only fair.

"Chakra Disruptor Style: Beta Arts!"

Six to the left arm and eight to the right arm, each jab felt like a blade piercing his skin. Momoshiki felt the feeling in his right arm leave him while his left arm felt heavier. He had underestimated the blonde. Leaping into the air he floated, wanting to put distance between himself and Naruto.

"Pheasant Hunter!"

From his hand came a massive flaming bird that flew at Naruto.

"Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!"

His chakra took form, turning into a massive water dragon that wrapped around the bird before biting its head off. The two glared at each other, they were almost evenly matched.

"Interfering is suicide right?" Garrus asked. "He's got this?"

"I hope so." Shepard said. "What are his chances?"

Shikamaru was silent. Taking into account how strong Kaguya was, it was possible this guy was stronger. Possibly immortal as well, and if that was the case then Naruto needed Sasuke to help form a permanent prison. Judging by what he was seeing, Momoshiki had much more combat experience.

"I have faith in him, but if he falls then…"

Shikamaru dared not finish that sentence. There was a fail safe in case something like this happened and Naruto fell in battle while facing an enemy that would kill the crew as well. He prayed to the sage that it wouldn't come to that. But, the look on Momoshiki's face worried him.

'She's not in there so what's going on?' Momoshiki slowly floated to the ground, he couldn't maintain his flight and he was starting to lose control over his chakra. 'Did he poison me?' – 'Wait, where did he–'

He dodged a kick to the face only to get sent flying by some kind of invisible force. Naruto dashed at him with his rinnegan blazing. With little effort he kept going with harder hits that sent alarms all throughout Momoshiki's mind. Wind chakra was cutting into his body with each bone breaking punch.

"Uzumaki Style: Wind Katas." Naruto said before knocking his pale foe into the ground. "Uzumaki Forbidden Jutsu: Sōru shattā!"

Dark purple quintessence gathered around his right hand and he punched the downed Momoshiki's chest. The quintessence attacked his very soul, causing it to crack before shattering. This jutsu was forbidden for a few reasons, but the biggest was the fact that it destroyed the target's soul. No exceptions and no way to be brought back. Not to mention the side effects.

Naruto didn't wait but a few seconds before plunging a kunai deep into Momoshiki's forehead for good measure. He didn't want the arrogant bastard to suddenly come back with a second form or something.

It was official, the Otsutsuki threat was out there and they somehow knew about him. He doubted they would be happy about losing two of their own, hopefully they would back off for now. The blonde felt the horn go away along with the markings on his face. Yet, a good bit of the strength lingered. He was definitely stronger now.

"That was amazing." Shepard said, but Naruto heard the hint of fear in her voice. "First that ship and then all that fighting, how were you able to go for so long?"

"How long were we fighting?"

"An hour and forty six minutes." Shikamaru said. "You won in the end so I'm not going to complain about the time it took."

They had other concerns now that their foes were dead, well one of them was dead while the other was unconscious, but not for long. Naruto's attention went to Poval who was beyond frazzled by the fight that had just transpired in front of her. As were her people who began to step out one by one. They were safe, but still wary for good reason.

"Alright everyone we–oh shit."

Naruto fell flat on his face, now completely unconscious. It was time for the blonde to take a well deserved rest.
