Playing with love

Mirabel had just finished the book she was reading when Luna came up and asked her something about the piano.

"Mamá?" Luna asked

"Yes my love?" Mirabel replied

"Can you teach me to play the big key thing?" Luna smiled her adorable little smile

"You mean the piano". She answers

Luna nods eagerly to learn.

" I don't see why not". Mirabel smiled

"Yes". She cheered in victory

So with that both mother and daughter sat at the piano with Luna on her mother's lap ready to play. Mirabel put her hands on the keys as she played the basic notes and Luna looked at the keys with concentration.

"Like this?" Luna said as she copied her mother and the keys she played

"Almost there Mija like this you hit a G note". She chuckled

"Oh man". She sighed

"You'll get there Mija all it takes is practice ". Mirabel smiled

Luna kept on trying with her Mamá and her encouragement as they played Luna's hands on top of her mother's as they played cuddling close to her.

Mother and daughter had so much fun, So much so that they didn't realise Miguel had come home from the plaza and was watching from the doorway and smiling at his wife and daughter thinking how lucky was.

" I did it Mamá ". Luna smiled so proud of yourself

"That You did my little moonlight, you certainly don't give up". Mirabel replies

Miguel didn't want to interrupt this moment so he just stood there smiling and watching as they played together. Mirabel smiled as she was loving spending time like this with her Luna and teaching her not to rely on a gift but just by the Independence Of herself with her guidance of course.

"I wondered where that beautiful playing was come from". Miguel spoke up

"Papá!!" Luna said running up to give her Papá a tight hug

"Mamá taught me.. what is it again?" She coaxed asking her Mamá for the word

"Piano". Mirabel supplies

"I saw, your Mamá is quite talented and so are you my little moonlight ". Miguel smiled as he bent down at eye level so she could see her Papá .

"Is that why you fell in love with her?" Luna coaxed

"That among other things Carina ". He looked up at his wife and winked at her she smiled and blushed

Luna went and hugged her mother spreading love and kisses to her.

"Gracias for teaching me Mamá ". She thanked her

"De nada Lunita". She gave her daughter kisses

Luna then went off to play with her toys leaving her parents alone.

"She's growing up so fast". Miguel sighed

"I know". Mirabel replies

They both smiled as their little girl had accomplished so much already who says she needs a gift when she already is one?
