It was a typical normal day for everyone, as usual. Walking, chatting, and going out to places, it's a very normal day for everyone.

However, today is also a very special day as well, as Shizuku is preparing something for a special someone.

After a few minutes had passed, Shizuku added the finishing touches to what she's preparing, and stood happily once she's finished, smiling about what she had prepared.

"There, all done!" Shizuku smiled.

It was revealed that she prepared a nice cake with candles put on there, with 2 cups of grape juice for Shizuku and the special someone. There are also purple balloons tied to Shizuku's and the other's chairs as well, with a bouquet of flowers for the special someone as well.

For the cake, it also had these words frosted on it in purple. It read:

"Happy Birthday Rui!"

Today is a special day after all for the couple!

Today is Rui's Birthday!

Shizuku makes her way to their room where Rui is sleeping, with Rui still in his PJs. Shizuku smiles as she looks at Rui sleeping peacefully in his bed.

"Hey honey! Wake up!" Shizuku whispered to Rui, with the latter slowly opening his eyes as he heard her soft voice.

"Morning! Get ready please, I have a surprise for you!" Shizuku smiled at Rui, leaving and closing the door so Rui could get changed.

"Rui's gonna be so happy once he sees this little celebration I prepared for him!" She thought to herself, making her way to the little celebration she had prepared for her love.

After Rui got ready, he makes his way to the room where Shizuku has a surprise for him, as once he sees it, he was surprised about the image presented to him.

Shizuku had prepared a little party for Rui, and she did this all just for him!

"Surprise! Happy birthday my love!" Shizuku exclaimed, giving her love a big kiss. "Here, this is just for you!" She handed Rui a bouquet of flowers, much to Rui's pleasure.

"Aw, that's so sweet of you my dear! I didn't know you would actually pull off this little party just for my special day!" Rui blushed, happy to know his love prepared a party just for him.

"Oh, and here is a letter I wrote for you also!" Shizuku handed Rui a card, which he opened it. It reads the following:

Happy Birthday Rui!

Ever since we first met and soon became a couple, I could never forget about the very first date we had, and the memories we made together. But now, on a day like today, this day will be special for you, and by that, I hope this day will be the best day you'll ever had.

From, Shizuku, your love forever.

Rui smiled from the fact that Shizuku has great handwriting, as well as pronunciation too! "Aw, sweetie, thank you so much for those nice words there!"

Shizuku smiled, knowing that her love enjoyed the letter she made for him.

"Alright then, blow out the candles and make a wish!" Shizuku smiled, gesturing to the cake for Rui to blow out the candles.

"Actually, how about we do it together?" Rui smiled back at her, giving her a wink as he said that.

"Oh that's a great idea! Shall we?" Shizuku said, as they make their way to the cake.

"Well then, you ready my love?" Rui asked to Shizuku, with his love answering with a nod of approval.

The two prepared, took deep breaths, and blow out the candles together. They smiled back at each other once the candles are distinguished, and gave their kiss soon after.

"Hey, you know how we're always together since the day we had our very first interaction together and our date, right?" Rui questioned to Shizuku.

"Yeah? And why would it be that?" Shizuku also questioned.

BGM: The Floating Lights (From "Kingdom Hearts III")

Rui took a deep breath, and began to speak, with Shizuku listening to every word he's saying.

"Well, we had always been together ever since then, and that we have our dates every now and then, to normal places, to luxurious places as well. We always have great dates now and then, always having our kiss to show we truly love each other. And I always have that thought for a while, for us to take the biggest step to our romantic relationship with each other."

Shizuku was confused at first as he finished with those words, but that will soon change as he then stood up and began to get something from his pocket.

"After all those times together, I think it's time for us to finally take the biggest step ever. So..."

Rui took out a little box from his pocket. A very special kind of little box.

"There's something very important I would like to ask you."

Shizuku was surprised that he got a little box, but then, with the biggest surprise she has ever had, Rui opened the box, revealing something that could change them forever.

A ring.

"Will you marry me?" Rui asked.

Shizuku was frozen with shock from what was being presented to her. But then, she started to tear up, and then, she finally smiled with tears of joy, and answered.

"Yes... Yes! Oh, Rui!" Shizuku hugged Rui very tightly, finally letting out her tears and sobbing happily.

"Now my dear, it's okay. I'm happy that you're happy." Rui smiled at his love, tearing up as well.

As Shizuku finally stopped her sobbing of joy and dried her tears, she looked back at Rui and smiled.

"I couldn't be more happier my honey. A surprise party is good, but this is the best thing that could come to this special day. Thank you Rui!"

"Hehehe, well then, our big step is just the start of us slowly becoming parents." Rui winked at her, with his love smiling.

"Rui, I love you. Happy birthday once again." Shizuku smiled, feeling the need to start tearing up again.

Rui smiled back, with tears on his eyes as well. "I love you too, and thank you."

The two then embraced each other as they gave off their romantic gazes one again, and finally gave their kisses of a successful proposal.

It was indeed, the most very special day for our two, soon-to-be-wed, love birds.
