[Opening sequence: Relaxing music plays as a sun watches a blue bird fly to its nest, where another bird is, while setting. Afterwards, blankets fly down to the ground as a tree with a yawning clock comes into view, then another one with a cat in a bed. While a crescent moon rises, we see another tree with a birthday cake and a bird's cage with a full moon and multi-colored stars inside]
Male announcer: And now, it's time for The Good Night Show, here on Sprout, with Nina, Star, Lucy, and Hush.
[The opening sequence ends as stars transition to the Goodnight Garden set, where Nina and Star are sitting on the crescent moon couch]
Nina: Hi Sproutlets, it's been a good day, and now it's going to be a good night!
Star: …That's because we're here together! Right, Nina?
Nina: That's right, Star - We have Hush, Lucy, our Sproutlet friends, you, and me.
[The music starts playing the Welcome Song as we cut to Nina's feet hitting the ground, then back at her]
Nina:
Hey, hooray, we had another fantastic day and now it's time to say… Good…
Star:
Banana?
Sproutlets:

Nina:

Nina:

[The Welcome Song ends as Nina gets back on the couch giggling as the Sproutlets cheer. Afterwards, she and Star hear a ringing sound]
Star: Ooh, is that the snow coming down? Or maybe even the rain?
Nina: I don't think so, Star. [to the Sproutlets] Do you know what that ringing sound was?
Star: The Goodnight Bell!
Nina: That's right, and when we hear it, we reach into our basket that will help us guess a clue to tonight's adventure. [pulls out the basket, reaches into it and pulls out a promo picture of Bob and Muck] Ooh, do you know who these are?
Star: Ooh, ooh, I know, it's Bob the Builder!
Nina: Star, you guessed it, and you said the name too!
Star: I did? Goodie! What was the word I just said?
Nina: Bob the Builder. Tonight's adventure is about Bob the Builder. Or in Spanish, Bob el Constructor. [to the Sproutlets] Would you like to say it with me? Bob el Constructor. Super!
Star: Bob el Constructor. Bob the Builder in Spanish.
Nina: So let's not wait or hesitate, it's time for more fun, so come on, everyone. Lucy, can you light the way and show us who's here to play?
[Lucy flies into the nighttime sky and reveals a star playing clips from Sagwa, the Chinese Siamese Cat]
Sagwa: Hi, Lucy. It's me. Sagwa. Dongwa, Sheegwa, Fu Fu, and I are coming up next to play.
Nina and Star: Hi, Sagwa.
Scene 2
[A short musical cue plays as Nina and Star address the Sproutlets in the audience]
Nina: Welcome back, Sproutlets. Tonight's adventure is all about Bob the Builder, or in Spanish, Bob el Constructor.
Star: Bob el Constructor.
[Gentle music plays as Nina starts to recite a poem]
Nina: Bob builds and fixes every day, and solves any problem that comes his way. He has his team to help him too, and they call themselves The Can-Do Crew. Bob's a very handy man, so can he fix it? Of course he can!
[The music ends]
Star: I'd love it if Bob could make me something!
Nina: We all would, and here's something we can do right now - [pulls out the Sprout-o-scope] look up at the stars and constellations through the…
Star: …Sprout-o-scope!
Nina: That's right. [to the Sproutlets] You can guess along with us Sproutlets!
[The music starts playing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"]
Nina:

Nina: Let's see what shapes the stars are making tonight!
[She adjusts the Sprout-o-scope, and we see the sky through the telescope. Nina turns to the right and she and Star see a hammer]
Star: [from o.c.] I know what shape this is! It's a hammer, but what does that have to do with Bob the Builder?
Nina: Well, Bob sometimes uses hammers when he builds houses.
Star: I see.
[cut back to Nina and Star]
Nina: Great shape finding, Sproutlets!
Star:

[A short musical cue plays as Nina and Star address the Sproutlets in the audience]
Nina: Welcome back Sproutlets. We're having a great good night talking all about Bob the Builder.
Star: …And the way to say Bob the Builder in Spanish is Bob el Constructor.
Nina: Excellente, Star! You know, Bob has five machines on his team - Scoop, Muck, Dizzy, Roley, and Lofty.
Star: …And don't forget Travis! [to the Sproutlets] He's Farmer Pickles' tractor!
Nina: …And Travis too. We all love the machines so much, that I'd like to do a stretch about them. [She gets up off the couch: stars transition to her out in the Goodnight Garden, reciting her stretch poem - and doing the actions that go along with it - as the same poem music from before plays] I'm a little Sprout now, but just watch me grow, up, up, up I go, I stand on my tiptoes and reach high in the air, and now I have a Sprout stretch that I'd like to share!
[The Bob the Builder's Scoop stretch from the episode "Construction" plays; afterwards, Lucy flies into the nighttime sky and reveals a star playing clips from Dragon Tales]
Ord: Hi, Nina and Star, Ord here. The gang in Dragon Land has another exciting adventure for you.

[Nina and Star are seen with a basket of craft materials; the music starts playing "Let's Make Something New"]
Nina:

["Let's Make Something New" ends as Lucy and a star transition to another area of the Goodnight Garden, where Nina and Star are sitting by a blue table ready to make a craft]
Nina: Welcome back, Sproutlets. We're so glad you could join us on our Bob the Builder adventure, or in Spanish, we'd be having a Bob el Constructor adventure.
Star: Hey, Nina, what are we going to make tonight? Does it have to do with Bob the Builder?
Nina: Yes it does, Star. Tonight, we'll be making a Bob the Builder paper bag puppet. [to the Sproutlets] And maybe tomorrow, you can make one of your very own!
[Music starts playing as Nina starts making the craft]
Nina: First, I'm going to take this paper bag and set it aside. Next, I'm going to use safety scissors and cut out blue overalls, a yellow hard hat, and a brown toolbelt from construction paper. Remember, this is something only a grown-up Sprout should do. [she does so]
Star: This is just what a builder needs.
Nina: That's right. Now, it's time to start gluing. I'm going to glue the hard hat onto our paper bag here. [she does so]
Star: Looks like it's coming together.
Nina: You said it! Now, I'm going to glue the overalls on the front of the paper bag. [she does so]
Star: Hey, it's starting to look like Bob now.
Nina: You're right. Now for the fun part, I'm going to color in his face. [she does so] And now, I'm going to color in his shirt. Do you know what color it is?
Star: Red!
Nina: Right. Now, I'm going to glue on the tool belt and color on the hammer. [she does so]
Star: A hammer! Every builder needs one!
Nina: [puts her hand into the puppet] And viola, there we have it, a Bob the Builder paper bag puppet!
Star: Can you make it? Yes you can!
Nina: [giggles] I can make anything!
[A star tree appears onscreen, reading the words " " in green, light blue, and green again in a dark blue background]
Nina: And if you would like to make this craft tomorrow, you and a grown-up can visit us online to find out how to make your own Bob the Builder puppet.
[The tree disappears]
Nina: Hey, Star, do you know who's coming to play now?
Star: Umm, maybe Lucy can give me a hint.

Michael Brandon: Hi, Nina and Star. Thomas is pulling into the station right on time, from the Island of Sodor.
Nina and Star: Hi, Thomas.
Scene 5
[The musical cue that usually accompanies Goodnight Games and Real Kids plays as Nina addresses the Sproutlets in the audience, with the Bob puppet behind her]
Nina: Welcome back, Sproutlets.
Star: Hey, Nina, how about we use the craft we made to tell a story?
Nina: That's a great idea Star.
[The storytime music plays as Nina begins to recite the story poem]
Nina: Where do stories come from, do you know? They need ideas to help them grow. So let's plant an idea or two, and we'll grow a story just for you.
Star: Once a Sprout a time, Bob the Builder and his team got a phone call from the mayor of Bobsville. His name is Bunty Feguson.
[Nina puts the Bob puppet on her hand]
Nina: [as Bob] Hello, Bob speaking.
Star: Mr. Ferguson wanted Bob to fix the bridge before the big summer festival next week.
Nina [as Bob]: Can we fix it? Yes we can!
Star: And once they got to the bridge, Scoop dug out the old concrete while Bob and Dizzy prepared a fresh batch of cement, and Lofty lifted the new steel beams with his long arm. Even Wendy came to lend a hand.
Nina [as Bob]: Wow, this bridge is really coming together!
Star: After Bob and his team finished the bridge, everyone gathered around it and was very impressed.
Nina [as Bob]: Thank you, thank you, glad you like it!
Star: and they all lived happily ever after, the end.
[Music ends]
Nina: That was a story that didn't even need fixing - it was so good!
Star: I'll say!
Nina: And here's a Sprout friend that we think is very good. Lucy, can you tell us who?

[Music starts playing as the star reveals footage of Sproutlets, starting with a young girl named Akiala]
Akiala: I like it when Spud goes apple picking because I like to go apple picking.
Tyler: I love dinosaurs and I love the episode where Bob goes to a dinosaur museum.
Mia: Spud is funny, and I like the episode where he helps the team build a car park.
Sierra: I like when Bob has a magic show for Wendy's birthday.
Aspen: I like it when Bob and Scoop make a tunnel.
John: I like the episode where Dizzy helps Bob do two jobs at once.
Maddison: My favorite episode of Bob the Builder is the one where Spud learns to square dance.
[Music stops as stars transition back to Nina]
Nina: Wow, you Sproutlets must be Bob the Builder experts! And now it's time to check in with another Sprout friend who knows a lot about everything! Let's ask our cozy Sprout friend, Lucy, if she knows who it is. Oh, Lucy!

Nina: They sure do! I know the machines play games a lot, just like we do.
Star: …And we like to play the Goodnight Game!
[Nina gets up and walks over to spin the Moonbeam Wheel]
Nina: You can guess along with us and see where it's going to land! [she spins the wheel]
Star: Spin away, Moonbeam Wheel! I think it's gonna land on…orange, yellow, blue … red!
[Nina reads from a red card]
Nina: We're gonna play a game called "Can-Do Colors."
[Stars transition to Nina and Star somewhere out in the Goodnight Garden with a small green board; music begins to play]
Nina: We're going to look for the colored circles Bob's machines are in.
Star: I see Lofty!
Nina: Right, there's Lofty, but do you know what colored circle he's in? [the camera reaches a red circle with Lofty on it] Red, right! And what about Dizzy? What color is he in?
Star: Hmm, let me think. [pause; he points to a yellow circle with Dizzy on it] I know, Dizzy's in yellow!
Nina: That's it, Star, Dizzy's in the yellow circle! [points to a blue circle with Roley on it] And last one, what color is Roley in?
Star: I know, blue! He's in blue!
Nina: Exact-o-mundo! [points to the circle] Roley is in the blue one. There, we did it, now we know what colors the machines are in!
Star: Boy, I loved that game so much!
[Music ends]
Nina: Me too. [to the Sproutlets] Thanks for your help, Sproutlets, and here's a Sprout friend who always helps others. Lucy, do you know who it is?

Nina: That's right. You know, Bob's friends learn a lot about friendship and cooperation, and matter of fact, here's something to learn right now.
Star: What is it, Nina?
Nina: Sign language, now that's a real language where you use your hands to communicate something. I'm going to show you how to sign the name "Bob." [Music starts playing, as she makes the signs for the letters B, O, and B] B-O-B, Bob. Now, let's see you do it.
[Lucy flies over to a star, which reveals Sproutlets signing Bob's name starting with a boy named Alex]
Alex: B-O-B, Bob.
Aldana: B-O-B, Bob.
Alexandria: This is how you sign Bob's name.
Camille: B-O-B, Bob.
Catalina: B-O-B, Bob.

Nina: Welcome back Sproutlets. You know, I was wondering, should we say goodnight now or keep having fun?
Star: Keep having fun, I always choose that! I always like to have fun!
[They hear the sound of Lucy flying]
Nina: And I hear someone else who likes to have fun, Lucy! Did you know that Lucy is named after the Spanish word for light, luce? Isn't that the perfect name for a firefly? And she's gonna show us some Sproutlet art in the Goodnight Gallery. Ready whenever you are, Lucy!
Star: Shine on, Sproutlets!
[Lucy flies with a star, transitioning over to the Goodnight Gallery as music plays]
Nina: Alyson from New York sent in this drawing of Bob building a house.
Star: Can he build it? Yes he can!
Nina: That's right! [fade to the next drawing] Our next craft comes from Hannah of New Jersey. Hannah drew a picture of Bob with Spud and Wendy.
Star: They must be very happy friends!
Nina: I think they all are, and they all play together like good friends should! [fade to the next drawing] Our last picture is of Abigail from Maryland. Abigail sent in this drawing of Farmer Pickles and Bird.
Star: I bet Farmer Pickles is so happy to have Bird as a pet.
Nina: I bet he is!

Nina: She floats along through the nighttime breeze,
Nina and Star: Let's all see what Lucy sees!
[Nina lets Lucy go, as we see the title card for Lucy Light the Way]
Star: [from o.c.] Let's play Lucy Light the Way!
[Lucy flies over to somewhere]
Nina: [from o.c.] I wonder what our friend Lucy is going to show us.
Star: [from o.c.]Let's find out.
Nina: [from o.c.] Let's see. Oh, she's flying to something. What could it be?
Star: [from o.c.] Oh, I think I can guess what that is. It looks like a chair to me.
Nina: [from o.c.] Yes, Star, but what kind of chair?
[they hear a rocking sound]
Star: [from o.c.] Hmm… Ooh, that sound was a right clue, Nina. I think it's a rocking chair.
[Lucy lights it up, revealing that it is a rocking chair]

Star: [from o.c.] But, but, the bottom part looks very different. Oh, I know what shape that is!
Nina: [from o.c.] What is it, Star?
[Lucy lights it up, revealing that it is a broomstick]
Star: [from o.c.] It's a broom!
Nina: [from o.c.] A broom, that's right! Well, we have one last thing to guess. What does Lucy see now?
Star: [from o.c.] Hmm, it's something kind of square-shaped, by the door.
Nina: [from o.c.] Yes, you're right, Star.
Star: [from o.c.] And I think I see a word on it. What does it say, Nina?
Nina: [from o.c.] I think it says "welcome." So can you guess what it is, Star?
[Lucy lights it up, revealing that it is a welcome mat]
Star: [from o.c.] It's a welcome mat!
[A cat is seen purring in its sleep]
Star: [from o.c.] So, sweet kitty, you're welcome to say there! [laughs]
Nina: [from o.c.] [laughs] Alright, we've seen a rocking chair, a broom, and a welcome mat. Where do you think Lucy is?
Star: [from o.c.] She's on a porch!

Star: Nina, do you know where Bob lives?
Nina: Well, he lives in Bobsville, and he fixes and makes things there, and Farmer Pickles, Spud, Travis, and Bird live there too.
Star: Can you name anyone else who lives there?
Nina: Well, Star, it is getting late, and there's something very important you need to do now.
Star: …Ask more questions about Bob the Builder? Like what the first thing he built was?
[Nina glares at Star]
Star: Oh, I know. I better go brush my teeth and wash my face.
Nina: That's right, and let's see how our Sproutlet friends do it to.
[A yellow toothbrush and bubbles transition to footage of Sproutlets and Sprout friends as "Ready for Bed" begins]
Star:
Brusha, brusha, brusha, brusha, brush
Brush, brush, brush, brush, every tooth, no need to rush
Brush them every night until they're bright,
And then you spit, and that's it
Star: Now it's time to wash your face!
Star:

At the sink or in the tub
Soap and water's all there is to see

[Bubbles transition back to the moon couch, where Star is ready for sleep; the music from before begins playing]
Nina: Wow, Star, you got ready for bed so nicely!
Star: Thanks, Nina. I think the singing helps. The night isn't getting exactly older, but you know what I'm going to do tonight?
Nina: What?
Star: I'm doing to dream about all the fun things we did! [to the Sproutlets] Sweet dreams, Sproutlets.
Nina: While I'm tucking our sweet friend, Star, in for a good night's rest, why don't you see which Sprout friend is here to play?
[Lucy flies into the nighttime sky and reveals a star playing clips from Kipper]

[The storytime music plays as Nina addresses the Sproutlets in the audience]
Nina: Welcome back, Sproutlets. What a great time we've had tonight. We looked up at the sparkly stars through the Sprout-o-scope, did a relaxing Sprout stretch, made a craft, and even made up a story about it. Star is already sleeping.
[Cut to Star asleep]
Nina: [from o.c.] Looks like he's having sweet dreams.
Nina: And now it's time to say goodnight to another Sprout friend. He lives in a bowl, is a very good swimmer, and his name rhymes with brush. Do you know who I'm talking about? That's right, it's time to say goodnight to Hush the Fish, and to make our special nighttime wish. Have you been thinking of a special wish you'd like to make? Then let's do it.
[Nina gets up and walks over to Hush's fishbowl]
Nina: Hush, hush, little fish, we are here to make a fish, we close our eyes and then we start to make a wish with all our heart. I'm going to show that poem using sign language - that's a real language where you use your hands to communicate something. [she recites the poem using sign language] Hush, hush, little fish, we are here to make a fish, we close our eyes and then we start to make a wish with all our heart.
[Music ends]
