The night of the dance
Dade was dressed and waiting for the girls,
"Nagira, you have the boxes?" Dade asked,
"Yes." Nagira giving him the boxes,
"You look beautiful Robin, even Amon won't be able to take his eyes off of you." Kate's eyes glittering with tears.
"I'm sure you'll catch some hunky guys out there tonight too." Robin playing with the curling hair strands around her face, for once her hair wasn't in her eyes.
"Ready to go?" Kate asked, Robin stared into the mirror,
"Ready as I will ever be." Robin seriously.
"Okay, stay in here till I tell you to come down." Kate smiling, Robin nodded, Kate walked down and got her pictures taken with her brother, Robin stared at all the pictures on the mirror, she smiled a little, the photos held everyone she had called family, Nagira, Kate, Dade, her pup Dominic, and Sarah.
"I'm going to miss you guys." Robin being strong and holding her tears in. Dominic rested his head in her lap,
"You take care of them Dom, they will need you now." Robin's voice giving out on her.
"I'll always love you, Dominic." Robin petting her pup,
"You were always good to me, you're my best friend in the whole world." Robin taking one last photo of them with an instant camera, she put it in her purse and Kate called for her.
"Come on Dom, escort me down boy, we'll make a big finish, together." Robin smiling. Dominic led her down the stairs, Dade turned around, his mouth dropped slightly opened, they all had their picture together, then Robin had her picture taken with Kate and Dade, then one with Kate, then one with Dade as they stood there looking like a couple. Nagira had one with Robin with them hugging,
"You kick some ass tonight, I love you, Robin." Nagira softly.
"I love you dad, thank you for everything you have done for me, make sure you take care of brother for me, he won't have me anymore." Robin looking down at Dominic,
"You know I will." Nagira smiling. Nagira took some more pictures of Robin, one with Dominic, and another with Sarah.
"He is in good hands, you don't have to worry about your dad." Sarah smiling.
"Thanks mom." Robin hugging Sarah, she smiled,
"I don't…don't know what we are going to do without you." Sarah's voice cracking.
"You guys are a family now, you always have each other, and you guys have Dominic, he'll always listen, and he'll give you kisses to cheer you up." Robin smirking Sarah could only nod.
"So, did you find my little gift for you?" Robin asked, Dade looked at her funny, she turned his cuff links so he could see them, R.S were engraved in the silver.
"They are my initials." Robin smiling, Dade's jaw was twitching with tension,
"No crying, remember? I got something for you too." Dade opening the box, Robin couldn't help but start crying, he dried her tears with his handkerchief.
"Dade, this was way too much!" Robin staring at the dragonfly, he took it out of the box and leaned over her shoulder to hook it around her neck,
"It may bring you luck." Dade smirked as he was leaning back and gently kissed her cheek.
"Give her the one from all of us." Kate softly, Dade took out another box and opened it, Robin found a silver heart locket, she didn't dare open it.
"Open it." Kate softly, she shook her head,
"I can't." Robin mumbled, Dade flipped it over, she saw that something was engraved in it.
'We love you always.' Robin shoved it in her purse, as she started to sniffle again. Nagira could tell Robin couldn't accept anything more from them.
"Hey, come on, the limo is waiting." Nagira leading the way, a man in a suit with the limo driving hat on stood holding the door, Robin made him no mind but if she had she would have known it was Amon.
"I love you guys." Robin quietly admitted. Dade held her hand,
"Thank you for everything Robin." Dade softly, Robin nodded,
"You know the hair clip looks good." Robin smirked. Dade laughed a little,
"Thanks." Dade having glassy eyes.
At the Dance
When they entered the dance, they had their photo taken together, Nagira and Sarah started dancing together, Amon stood by and kept an eye open for Kate and Dade's father. Dade started ballroom dancing with Robin,
"Robin, I love you." Dade softly admitted, Robin stared at him, her hand coming up to his cheek,
"Dade…" Robin being interrupted,
"You don't have to say anything, I just wanted you to know my feelings." Dade seriously. Dade was suddenly stopped dancing, he stared behind Robin, he hugged her,
"Good luck Robin." Dade kissing her and kissing her head, he walked away. Amon grabbed her hand, he spun her around, she stared him down, he stood there, wearing a black jacket, a nice white shirt and nice black slacks and shiny black shoes. His back straight hair was pulled back with a dark blue ribbon, he also wore cuff links plain silver.
Amon looked like he was in pain as he snaked his arms around Robin's waist, he pulled her close, as he stared down at her, she stared up at him as she let out an audible gasp, he felt her heart speed up. She found his other hand asking for her hand, slowly she slid her free hand into his hand, she stared at his chest. Her hand could feel the muscles in his arm as she held onto it.
"You are the most beautiful one here." Amon whispered as he gently brushed her curl around her face behind her ear and swept her off her feet, suddenly he dipped her. His hand was in the middle of her back now as he helped her back up from the dip, her heart was speeding like a racehorse now. Amon pressed his lips against hers, her eyes grew wide, but she slowly kissed him back, placing her hands on the sides of his neck.
~Miracle one.~ Robin thought to herself as their tongues barely touched, suddenly the gym doors blew off their hinges, hitting the back wall. Robin and Amon turned their heads slowly to stare at the grand entrance.
