Fire Lord Sozin sits on his throne and closes his eyes. It had been a long day and he just lost his best friend. For all their differences and for everything that happened he still cared about Roku deep down. Sozin wished Roku was his ally. He opens his eyes "Yes having an avatar at my disposal would make this much easier"
Sozin calls his advisers and generals into the war room "I have brought you all here do discuss my next plan. I need to get the new Avatar, and make them my own personal weapon" Sozin tells them.
"Sir if I may that idea sounds difficult especially with the actions we have taken lately. Not only would you require the cooperation of an airbender in order to teach the child, but also cooperation from the Water Tribes and the Earth Kingdom, which do to several policies we have taken won't be easy. We might have to play more diplomaticly" his advisor says.
Sozin grumbles "I see" is all he says
"Not just that, but as we don't know who the Avatar is we will have to take multiple children, but I believe this is good. Imagine an army of airbenders that are loyal to you" the advisor was really trying to sell his idea in fear of his life
"Yes. That would be interesting, and allow for greater mobility. Very well I shall implement your plan, but if it fails I will make your death slow and painful" Sozin warns.
