It was finally time for the group to head on over to school. The five children were already talking about random stuff while walking, while Eclipse stood further back, still upset about what transpired earlier at home.

It's not even my fault, he was the one who grabbed me! Why am I always the one that gets yelled at?!

"Goldilocks." Cameron said towards Eclipse, waking the teenager from her thoughts.

"What?" Eclipse asked.

"Don't get your ass kicked." Cameron said in a mockingly, but also serious tone.

Eclipse gulped at that statement, she knew all too well what Cameron was referring to. She looked at the entrance at the school, and took a deep breath.

You got this. Eclipse thought to themselves, before walking towards the entrance.

Upon entering the school, Eclipse was hit with the loud sounds of different conversations, lockers opening and slamming, and a mess of students walking everywhere.

This is going to be a long day... Eclipse said to themselves, before walking into the crowd herself.

It was difficult to squeeze through the large amount of students, but eventually she managed to find her locker...

...Near the popular kids.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the orange haired girl!" A male voice said from seemingly nowhere, startling Eclipse. She looked at where the direction of the voice came from, and immediately frowned upon seeing who it was.

It was a six-foot boy with brown hair, he wore a neutral colored shirt with a school varsity jacket over it, his hair was brown as well as his skin, and his eyes.

"Donny..." Eclipse said, trying her best to hold in her anger and frustration.

"Eclipse." Donny said.

Eclipse turned away and went back to her locker, trying to focus on ignoring the boy and his friends' stares.

"Are you trying to ignore me?" Donny asked, a bit of annoyance in his voice.

"No, what made you think that?" Eclipse asked sarcastically.

Donny simply laughed off Eclipse's harsh behavior. "Aw, the orphan nerd is upset. But don't worry..."

Donny slams his hand beside the locker next to Eclipse, effectively trapping her between both of them.

"...It'll be way worse later on." Donny said threateningly.

At that point, Eclipse wanted to slap the boy, but she knew what would happen, as she turned to look at the smirks on his friends' faces, who were watching the entire situation play out. So, she simply stood still, looking at Donny with a fearful, but angered expression.

Donny laughed again, before pulling away from Eclipse. "C'mon guys, let's ditch this loser and head to class."

Donny then left along with his friends, leaving Eclipse alone in the locker room.

As soon as they were out of sight, Eclipse nearly collapsed to the ground, breathing heavily. She was scared, terrified. Donny was one of her worst bullies by far, and he seemed to prove that time and time again.

Remembering all of the bad memories of him and his friends messing with her mentally, emotionally, physically...

"...I can't do this anymore." Eclipse said out loud. "I...don't want to do this anymore." Eclipse said more firmly. She then grabbed her bag, and went through the exit, leaving the school.

This was a terrible idea... Eclipse thought to herself. She knew what was coming, but after experiencing it again, and again, and again...

"...No, not anymore." Eclipse said with a finalized tone. "I'm tired of living this life, like I'm some tool for people's anger. I'll run away, I'll make my own living!" Eclipse continued, beginning to run away further from the school, with some new profound courage in herself.

Running wasn't such a good idea, however. Upon moving further down the road from the school, she unknowingly entered the dangerous part of her town.

Upon looking around, she saw some creepy and very dangerous-looking people. "Crap..." Eclipse said, realizing where she was.

Criminals, gang members, combined with the stinging smell of smoke and cheap alcohol, she immediately grew scared. "Shit, shit, shit!" Eclipse repeatedly said, panicked.

It's clear that her panicking didn't help her situation at all, as one of the men looked at her, and began to call her over. "Hey, you."

Eclipse froze in place. Surely he wasn't talking about her, right?

"Hey beautiful, the boss is calling for you, get over here!" One of the other men beside the man yelled out towards Eclipse, denying her doubts.

She cursed, and slowly walked over to the man, trying her best to stay calm. As she finally reached the man's face, he looked at Eclipse with a creepy smile on his face, and said:

"What's a cutie like you doing by yourself? Why don't you come with me? I can show you a few things." The man said, keeping his creepy smile on his face.

Eclipse's heart dropped. It didn't take an average teenager to understand what he meant by that. She began shaking, while the man simply kept laughing, along with his goons.

"N-NO!" Eclipse said, as she began running away from the man.

"Heh, the ones that run are always the best." The man said as he began to chase her, his friends cheering him on.

Eclipse didn't know how long she ran for, but she didn't care. Every time she looked behind her, the man was behind her, getting closer and closer . This only prompted her to run faster.

Eventually, she entered a forest. She was hoping the man would stop chasing her if she entered a much more dangerous area. But unfortunately, the man was desperate.

She was getting tired, her legs were hurting, but she had to keep going.

"You can't keep running away forever!" The man behind her said.

"Leave me alone!" Eclipse said in a fearful, but obviously tired voice.

As soon as she said that, the man looked ahead of her, realizing what was ahead of them. He stopped moving, and looked at Eclipse, who was still running.

"As you wish." The man said, as he turned around, and started walking back from where he came.

"H-Huh...? Why did he...?" Eclipse asked, wondering why he suddenly listened to her, but soon, she found her answer.

She felt something slipping under her feet, and looked down, she had ran off the edge of an cliff. As she began falling, she screamed the entire way down, and hit her head on something hard. She than blacked out, likely to never wake up again.

And that's chapter two! This took a bit more proofreading, but it was definitely easier than last time.

I wanted to include more about Eclipse's life at school, but I wasn't sure how to write it in full, so I changed it a bit.

Chapter 3 is currently in progress, and will likely be done sometime tomorrow, so stay tuned!
