AN: I'll be sticking to the book rather than the film version of undraggoning as
I am rubbish at writing action scenes.
I like the symbolism of the layers of dragon skin peeling off and the immersion and purifying by water.
"So, I started scratching myself and my scales began coming off all over the place. And then I scratched a little deeper and, instead of just scales coming off here and there, my whole skin started peeling off beautifully, like it does after an illness, or as if I was a banana. In a minute or two I just stepped out of it. I could see it lying there beside me, looking rather nasty" – Eustace to Edmund – Voyage of the Dawn Treader

Aslan stood before the two dragons on the narrow strip of beach. Both dragons were overwhelmed by the pure presence of the Son of the Emperor Over the Seas.
Caspian, as he attempted to lift his gaze to Aslan's felt his unworthiness to be a King under this the Highest of High Kings. Felt anew his every flaw and misdeed.
But he looked into the eyes of Aslan and saw forgiveness in his wise gaze.
Eustace was completely unprepared for the wealth of feelings and insights that Aslan's presence evoked in him. The sudden clarity of understanding of his own faults and foibles was almost too much for the young boy to bear. Unaccustomed as he was to self-reflection.
"Follow me my children" Aslan instructed them.
Mutely the dragons followed until they came to a small group of trees which they could have sworn was not there before, and in the middle of the trees they found a clearing with a deep pool in the centre.
"You must bathe" Aslan told them.
"But first, you must undress."
The dragons looked at each other.
Undress – but they had no clothes on. The clothes that they had been wearing had disappeared when they had become dragons. Suddenly it seemed to Eustace that he understood, he though that dragons, like snakes might be able to shed their skins, and he started scratching at his scales. As they and a layer of skin started to come off, Caspian too understood and began to scratch at his scales.
As the first layer of his skin came off Caspian felt as if he was peeling off some of the weight of his past misdeeds as if he was casting the past aside. However, when he looked down he saw that he had another layer under the first.
Looking at Eustace he saw that the boy had discovered the same and was busy working on peeling off the second layer.
With each layer that peeled off Caspian felt himself get lighter and lighter as if Aslan was allowing him to peel away his sins and unburden himself of them. But with each layer the expected release from his dragon-self did not occur and Caspian felt himself getting frustrated, almost crying with the need to shed his skins and so his past sins, Caspian tore at his skin almost desperately.
He saw that Eustace was having similar problems.
""You will have to let me undress you." Aslan said to them both.
Caspian understood, it was only through Aslan that his sins could be completely forgiven and so it must be the lion that completed this task. However both young men looked at each other and then at Aslan. They were unable to voice it but they were afraid of the mighty claws of the lion. Caspian was the first to step forward however, knowing that Aslan would never harm him.
He placed himself at the lion's feet and Eustace did the same.
The first tear that Aslan made was so deep that Caspian felt as if Aslan had torn into his very soul. Indeed as the lion pulled away the skins he could feel himself being purified through the pain of it. When it was done he lay panting at the side of the pool, watching as Eustace went through the same process.
When it was done Aslan took them in his jaws and threw them into the pool. At first it smarted, but only for a moment and then Caspian and Eustace felt wonderful as if they had been born anew. Swimming around they looked down at their bodies and found that they had been restored to humans.
When they had swum their fill, they got out of the water and dressed in the clothes that Aslan had left them and feeling suddenly tired both boys settled down at the lions paws and fell into a dreamless sleep.

"Susan"
Susan stirred; she had been having the most wonderful dream. She had been dreaming that she and Caspian had been swimming and playing in the waves on the beach below Cair Paravel. That they had spent the day together on the beach and then had fallen asleep in each other's arms on the warm golden sand.
"Susan"
Susan moaned, she felt warm and comfortable. She didn't want to open her eyes, didn't want to have to face the day and its problems. Face the fact that Caspian was a dragon, and they had no clue as to how they were going to change him and Eustace back.
"Susan"
This time her name was accompanied by a soft kiss to her nose.
Susan shot up to a sitting position but kept her eyes closed. Who would have done such a thing? Certainly not her brothers and Caspian ... well that had certainly not felt like the kiss of a dragon.
Unless …
Hoping against hope Susan opened her eyes.
There sitting in front of her on the beach, not a scale in sight, was Caspian.
"Good morning" he whispered, resting his forehead against hers.
"Caspian!" Susan gasped joyfully letting out something that was between a laugh and a sob. And then, without even thinking about it she brought her lips crashing to his. Caspian responded enthusiastically drawing Susan to him as she lost herself in the moment. However, their moment was broken by a voice from nearby.
"Look … I have arms!"
"Peter! Edmund! Lucy … look at my arms!"
"… I have arms again!"
"Look!"
Looking up Caspian and Susan saw Eustace who appeared to be doing a thorough examination of his own body and who did indeed, as he stated have two fully functional human arms.
After that it was impossible for Susan and Caspian to spend any time alone as the company celebrated the undragoning of Caspian and Eustace. The crew of the Dawn Treader were hailed from the beach and their relief upon seeing their King, human once more was palpable.
Once they had breakfasted, everyone, keen to leave 'Dragon Island' as they called it, behind them, boarded the Dawn Treader and Captain Drinian set their course once more for the East. The storm had abated and so they hoped once again that they would be able to spot the blue star.
Sure enough, as the sun set over the bow of the ship, there above them was the blue star. Drinian set a course to follow it.
Caspian and Susan who had sat up on deck all night talking and just being together saw, by dawn's first light a new island in front of them.
Staring at the island with some trepidation Caspian drew Susan closer into his embrace, hoping that the tests that they faced on this island would be somewhat easier than on Dragon Island.
