When Charlie finally reached the airport and went inside, he found the gate he wanted and waited Wonka's plane to land. He looked through the window and saw the plane pulling up to the gate right in front of him. Charlie stood in front of the gate ramp to wait and see Wonka come out and greet him. While he waited he found himself swarmed with people. As they were getting out of the plane, it was hard to get the idea that soon they soon would be completely gone. Once most of the people were gone, Charlie leaned in forward to look inside of the hall connected to the plane. He could see the hall that nobody was coming out of. Charlie was confused. He expected that Wonka would come out by now to welcome him back,so in a way to check Charlie went to sit down in one of the seats to sit down and text Wonka on his phone.After typing in to what he wants to say to him,his feet then had started tapping on the ground
"Hoping he gets this…",he said to himself as he waits.
