Welcome to Chapter 2 of todays posting, I will anser the reviews for both chapters next time I post. Enjoy Chapter 3 in PAW Patrol Mission Paws on Mars.
Chapter 3: Rocket launchChase woke up in his hotel room in Florida, he jumped up as he realized that today was the day of his first ever Rocket launch into space. Chase howled with excitement, he still couldn't believe that he was going to space. Chase looked at the clock; the time was 7:00. The launch was at ten o clock sharp.
"I'd better get ready," Chase said to himself.
Chase gave himself a quick bath and a good combing of his fur. He wanted to look nice for his first mission in space. He then checked out of his hotel and got on the bus. He arrived at the Kennedy space center and launch facility at 9:00. There he was greeted by the other astronauts that were to go on the mission. They gave him a quick rundown of what the launch would be like. Chase then went inside the small control center, there people helped him put on he's space gear. Chase began to head toward the rocket. On his way there he was greeted by his friends one last time before his journey.
"Good luck on you first space mission Chase," Ryder said.
"I wish I could go with you," Skye said.
"Don't worry Skye, you turn will come." Chase said.
"Have a good trip dude," Zuma said.
"Thanks for coming to watch guys; it means a lot to me." Chase said.
"We'll always be there for you bud," Marshal said.
"Well I'd better get on the rocket before it leaves without me goodbye guys, see you in six to 7days." Chase said.
"Bye Chase, good luck." The pups all said in unison.
Chase walked with the other astronauts to the elevator that then took them up to the top of the rocket. The launch crew helped the astronauts get situated in the Capsule. Once the Launch crew was clear of the site, one of the astronauts named John tested the Connection between the Rocket and Mission control in Huston.
"Huston do you copy, we are go for launch, over," John said over the radio.
"We hear you loud and clear John, we are set for launch, all systems go, ready for launch in 10, 9, 8,"
As the countdown continued Chase sat with excitement and nerves. The other pups watched from far away with worry and excitement.
"5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Ignition," Huston said.
There was a loud roaring as the engine ignited the rocket fuel. The ground shook with the force of the rocket. The rocket slowly lifted off the ground. The people, including the rest of the PAW Patrol pups, cheered as the rocket went up into the sky. It didn't take long for the rocket to disappear into the sky.
Meanwhile Chase was being thrashed around, despite being strapped down to the seat.
"Whoa, oh, Wow, that's rough, boy Skye would love this, oh, I think I'm goanna be sick," Chase stuttered.
"yeah, I've done this several times already, so I'm used to it, just try not to throw up in you suit, it's a pain to clean." John said.
"Oh, too late," Chase said.
I'm goanna leave that part to your imagination. After a few hours into the flight John and the other astronauts disconnected the back end of the rocket. The told chase that that part of the rocket was just to get them out of the atmosphere. Then Huston gave them permission to take their gear of. The cabin is pressurized so they can breathe without their suits. John helped Chase out of his space suit. Chase unbuckled and instantly started floating up.
"Whoa, ha, ha, whoa, how do you steer yourself, oof, ha, ha," Chase laughed.
"ha, ha, it took me a good long while to get it to," John said.
Chase was still trying to get himself under control when he stopped in front of the window. He gazed down at earth with awe. He had seen many places on the earth, but never like this.
"It's beautiful isn't it," John said.
"Yes, It's amazing, man Skye would love this." Chase said.
"Moon walker, this is Houston, do you copy,"
"Moon walker to Houston, we hear you loud and clear, what's up," John said.
"we just wanted to check the communication and to let you know that you are on course to the moon and you are clear to sleep through the night, we've got a night watch on, have a good night, over,"
"You have a good night to Houston, Moon walker out." John said.
Chase and the other astronauts got into their specialized space beds and went to sleep, wondering what the next day would bring.
