Hello everybody I'm back with another Chapter in PAW Patrol: project resurrection, enjoy.
Chapter4: Life, or deathChase and the rest of the gang, with their new super powers, marched off with courage to fight the wither. Tracker used his supper sensitive ears to locate the monstrosity, and then the group followed him until they came into a large room. And on the other side of the room, in all its horror, floated the wither. Chase took the first step towards the creature; the pups all formed a horizontal line on either side of him. The wither gave of a bone chilling hiss, Chase locked eyes with the creature with a look of defiance on his face.
"I don't know if you can understand me but today your reign of terror will end, today you will get your end you vile creature," Chase yelled with confidence and defiance.
"Ooo snap, he got you good," Marshal said.
The pups all had to laugh at Marshals joke. The wither hissed as if to say, "Oh so you think you can beat me, bring it on".
"Alright wither, what have got," Chase said as his paws started to glow neon blue.
The wither shot first; it hurled a dark skull at the line of pups. Marshal took it out quickly with a fire ball. Chase shot towards the wither with his super speed. The creature hurled three skull bombs at chase, who easily dodged them. Chase leaped at the speed of light and struck the monster with his diamond blade. The impact alone should have killed it, but the wither just healed the deep wound like it was a paper cut.
"What the, okay, my turn," Skye said.
Skye flew as fast as she could at the monster. Her fist collided with one of its three face's, shoving it back a few feet. The wither hissed in pain. Then it hurled 3 more bombs towards marshal and Rubble. Rubble rolled into his invincible wreaking ball form and was able to survive the bomb explosion, while Marshal threw fire balls at the other three.
"Marshal give me a boost will ya," Everest said as she ran and jumped.
Marshal sat down and put both paws in the air. Everest used this to jump on as Marshal put all his force into hosing Everest as far up as possible. Everest went salling towards the wither, she used her ice breath to create a slick slide below her, she slide down on her back and pickt up speed. At the end of the slide she sailed directly towards the wither, she smilled and shot ablast of ice at the monster. It froze it solid.
"That won't hold it for long," Chase said.
Chase Drew his blade and attempted to stab the beast heat before I broke free from the ice. But the Wither exploded throwing Chase across the room. Chase howled in pain as the side affect of getting hit by the wither was quite painful, if you were hit, you body that touched the wither began to, well wither away.
"CHASE, Okay that's it, come and get me you filth, vile piece of scum," Skye said with anger.
Skye launched herself at the wither. She threw her paw into its chest sending it sprawling on the ground. Skye began to pound on the monster with her fist, she beat and beat until the creature had been pounded into the ground and it quit moving.
Skye stood up and tried to catch her breath. The pups all cheered, Skye turned around and smiled as she began to walk back. But little did she know, the wither was still alive. It rose and stood above her. The wither had had enough and it reached out with its deadly soul sucking fangs to take Skye's life.
"Sunshine, look out," Hunter cried.
he leaped and shoved Skye out of the way. Hunter took the blow as the wither began to suck the life out of his body. Hunter howled in pain. A wave of fuzzy mist seemed to come out of hunter and into the beast mouth. Hunter's fur immediately began to melt away, his flesh began to die and melt. The wither let go of him and he fell and landed with a thud and didn't move.
"HUNTER," yelled the pups all at once.
The pups all charged at once, filled with rage.
"Come on, nobody does that to our friend," Marshal said, hurling some fire balls at the wither.
"Yeah, you go up against one of us, you go up against all of us," Chase said.
"Let's get em," Skye yelled.
For the first time since it was created, the wither acutely felt fear. It backed up, startled by the courage of the pups. Rocky used his magnet paws to hurl three old, rusty javelins at the wither, pinning it to the wall. Everest froze Its bottom half to the wall, Skye gave it a quick punch to the stomach, and Chase finished it off by sending his diamond blade through its heart.
The wither hissed in pain and began to glow, The light nearly blinding Chase.
"Everyone take cover, it's goanna blow," Chase screamed.
The pups all dove behind rocks and hide. The wither screamed a ghastly scream before exploding, blowing a hole in the ceiling. The pups all slowly came out of hiding. They all began to celebrate at the death of the wither. They were all so excited that they had won, until they saw hunter.
"DAD," Skye screamed.
"Uh, hay sunshine," Hunter groaned.
"It's okay, we've won, the wither is dead, we can go home," Skye said.
Suddenly the ground started to rumble.
"What was that," Marshal said.
"With the wither gone, the nether has no purpose, this place is about to collapse, we need to get out of here," Tracker said.
"WHAT, are you sure," Chase asked.
"Si, I read a legend that told of this, and I can hear rocks falling from the ceiling, this place isn't safe,"
"Skye, we need to go, now," Everest yelled.
"Come on Dad, we have to go," Skye said.
"Sunshine, I can't go with you," Hunter said.
"What, why not," Skye said.
"I can't walk, besides I was getting close to death anyway."
"No, I will carry you, we can go," Skye pleaded.
"No sunshine, I'd only slow you down, it's okay, you have freed all those in torment in the nether, and you have freed me. I will go to a better place, get out of here before the nether clams you life too." Hunter said.
"Skye, he's right, we have to go, now." Chase said.
"No, I'm not leaving him here." Skye cried.
"Chase, Take care of my daughter for me will you," Hunter said.
"I will, I will take good care of her." Chase said.
"No, I'm not leaving him here." Skye screamed.
Ryder, came an picked Skye up and tried to carry her away. Skye struggled until she finally relaxed that she couldn't get away from them, She cried into Ryder's arms as the team ran out of the collapsing Nether fortress. The team ran, and ran, dodging falling rocks. They finally made it to the nether portal. Chase gave everyone the resurrection potions.
"Drink this everyone; it is the only way for you to return to the overworld." Chase said.
The pups and Ryder struggled though the vile drink, but managed to get it down okay. They then started to climb into the nether portal. The all went in one by one until it was down to Tracker, Chase, and Skye. Skye was still crying from the loss of her dad.
"Tracker, you go on ahead, and give me and Skye a moment, please." Chase said.
"Si, but hurry up before the portal collapses." Tracker said as he walked through the portal.
After Tracker left Chase walked up to Skye. She looked up at him, tears still in her eyes.
"I'm sorry about hunter, Skye, but it was his choice, and I'm sure he made a good choice," Chase said.
"I, don't want to leave him like that," Skye said.
"I understand, but I did promise him that I would care for you, so can we go home now," Chase said.
Skye looked at Chase, and smiled. Both Skye and Chase had the same idea. Before they walked through the portal, the both kissed each other for a minute, before they were to go home.
"Let's go home Chase," Skye said.
"I couldn't agree with you more Skye," Chase said as the two stepped through the portal.
Chase and the rest of the Gang had Cheated death. The story spread throughout the overworld like a wildfire. That day, Chase and the rest of the PAW Patrol became legends that will be told throughout the generations, as the pups that had been brought back to life. They will go down in history as the greatest, most powerful, dogs of all time. As for Chase and Skye, their new found love, would continue to grow as they began a new chapter of life, but that is a story for another time.
They did it, The won, well of course they won, their the PAW Patrol, Well I hope you all enjoyed this story. There will be another part to this story under a different name and different story, coming out soon, what will happen with Chase and Skye, will death come back, what will the pups do now, That will all be answered soon, until next time, I will update this Chapter in 2 weeks with the anserws to any questions or reviews, PAW Patrol Fanfiction out.
