Lisa's POV

I left their house with a heavy heart, Jennie don't even want to see me and Chaeng kept pushing me out. I grip the steering wheel until my knuckles turn white, I need to do something. I grab my phone and start dialing my trusted man's number, after a few ring he pick it up.

"Boss, you called"

"We need to do something"

"Copy boss"

I ended the call and start typing. Better fix his fucking ass because I'm gonna beat the shit out of him.

The car drive isn't long enough merely after half an hour I arrived at the location, most of my men are around the area waiting for me. It smells disgusting, rats are running everywhere— kinda look abandoned and messy.

There's only one important person I wanna see, someone who have a big role into Jennie's life. Ji-yong.

"Find him"

My men move quick as they search the area, few minutes later some of them are now holding someone.

"Fuck! Who the hell are you?!? Fucking let go of me!"

They push him making him fall on the ground, he look up at me. Just seeing his face up close makes my blood boil. So this was the one who started it all, if he only treated her nice she don't have to go through all of that.

I grab the collar of his shirt and start throwing punches, I make sure that every blow I gave him is painful enough.

He was begging me to stop but I couldn't do it, i wanted to cry but I didn't let my tears fall. I was panting hard when I'm finished, he was unrecognizable based on the punches he got from me.

"You'll pay what you owe from her. You'll live like you're in hell"

I signaled my man to do his job, he grab him and pull him towards their car. Killing him is an easy death, so I won't give him that. He deserve to live in regret.

As I went home, only dead silence welcomed me. No smiling Jennie who would give me a kiss on the cheek and ask me how did my day went.

It was like I felt all the tiredness. I walk straight to my room and bring out my laptop, I started reading more information my private investigator sent to me about the mafia. Even if Jennie won't forgive me, I'll make sure to make it up to her just by doing things like this. What I did to her is nothing compared to what I'm doing for her. My knuckles turned white when I saw the bastard's face, he's a piece of shit that needed to be dispose.

I look at my watch and it was still early around 9 PM. I felt a sudden pain in my chest, so I calm myself by breathing in and out. I've been feeling this lately and I think it's not good news, I just disregard it all the time.

Just as I got out from my room, I can't help myself but to look at Jennie's door. I used to catch her staring in my front door through the cctv cameras, and now I exactly know why she did that. The night isn't getting young so I moved to where I should be going, I need to track them as soon as possible.

Rosè's POV

After Lisa left, Jennie stayed in her room the whole time. I didn't bother to stay by her side since I think she needed her alone time, it was already dinner but no sign of her.

"How did it go? With Lisa?" Jisoo hold my hand on the table.

"It's not okay, Jennie doesn't want Lisa to be near to her"

"I think things are meant to end this way. Do you think there'll be time that the two would conceal?"

"I don't know babe, only Jennie can answer that. She deeply needs need healing from all the traumatic experiences not only the one caused by Lisa. I wonder how she kept strong all these years"

That kid was a fighter, not all can deal with all the shits life could throw.

"Anyway how's Lisa? Did she reach out to you?"

"She's taking care of some things, she doesn't really tell me much about how she feels. But I can see the regret and sorrow in her eyes"

I sigh "This is really the greatest lesson she'd ever learn, I hope she see things differently now. I know our parents' death made her miserable but it doesn't mean she needs to perceive the world like it's a bad place"

"I'm glad she became your sister, I can feel how much you love her even if she made a mistake"

"I can't hate her for a lifetime. I felt disappointed and hurt that my own sister would commit such inhumane act, but I'm not some kind of God. It'll take some time to forgive her"

The door swung open, Jennie finally decided to get out of her room. It was obvious that she cried because her eyes are puffy.

"Hi" she simply greet with a force little smile.

"Hey, dinners ready. You want to eat?"

"Sure unnie"

Jisoo get some plate and utensils, we both know Jennie's not okay but she's trying. It was a good sign that she's able to do small things like going out of her room. I was concerned that she'll lock up all day all night and don't want company.

Everything will be fine. I promise Jennie that I'll be here, even if we're not blood related you can have me as your very own sister.
