Heyyy- yah.. ik I have taken euhmmmm quite a while to return…….but what else is new? hope you'all have enjoyed your summer so far! And onto the next chapter which you'all have waited far to long for- (assuming you actually wanted more)
Sokka stared at Oma in disbelief. A quick glance at the Gaangs' member' complexions were enough to know that for once he wasn't the only one confused.
"What do you mean 'say what now?'-?! You're the ones faking to be the avatar!" Oma glared as if Sokka had personally offended her, which Sokka guessed could be the case.
"We mean that Aang is the avatar and that we're not faking." Toph waved her hand gesturing toward Aang for emphasis.
"No. There can't be more than one avatar. I know you can't be the avatar because my brother is the avatar." Lee answered in his raspy voice.
"How do you know?" Aang finally got over his initial shock it appears.
The three strangers shared a glance.
"How anyone would know? Bend more than one element? How else, baldy." Oma sighed.
Katara glanced at Aang then himself, confused. Toph still stood in front of the Gaang.
"But you don't believe us when we bend more than one element? Plus if your 'brother' really does exist where is he? Hm?" Sokka frowned.
"It would be rather simple to fake being the avatar. As long as you have multiple benders and enough skill to appear as if one person is doing all the bending, most people would be easily fooled." Mushi added himself into the conversation. His tone was cautious. He eyed us like we're a puzzle, which was rather unnerving with his unnaturally golden eyes. In fact, they all had some rather golden eyes…
"As for my other nephew, he…isn't with us right now." Mushi continued.
No one missed the hesitation in his voice, nor the wince from Lee as he spoke.
"Can we meet him?" Aang asked innocently.
"Aang! We are not going with some strangers to meet some non existent 'brother'! They could be Fire Nation for all we know!" Katara hissed under her breath.
"You can't meet him right now, a.k.a we don't know where he is. I mean we know WHERE he is but we don't know the location of where he is. And he IS real" Lee goared at Katara as he spoke. Though because of the accusation of being Fire Nation or his brother not being real or both, who knows. Seriously Katara, stop accusing every person we meet of being Fire Nation.
"Z-Lee, that was probably the most confusing way to have worded that." Oma stared unimpressed at Lee.
"What do you mean?" Toph asked from a few feet in front of Sokka.
Mushi sighed, then put a hand on one of both Lee's and Oma's shoulder.
"How about we discuss this at another location? It is a rather long story, best told over some steaming tea." Mushi smiled kindly at the Gaang.
Yep, definitely sus.
"I would like that. Katara? Toph? Sokka? What do you guys think?" Aang looked at each of them individually.
After some grumbled agreements from Katara and strangely enough, Toph, the Gaang was leading the three strangers toward their camp.

Azula made sure to keep everyone in her sight, lest anyone tries anything.
She is still very off-board the idea of following these weirdos to their camp. Especially to tell them 'their story'. What were they supposed to say? They clearly have some beef with the Fire Nation, then again who doesn't?
But before she had rejected Uncle's proposal to the group, he sent her a message/look with his eyes.
She read it as 'trust them for now, they might know something about Sho'
So of course here she is following these strange weirdos who clearly don't trust them…….then again she did kinda accuse them of fakes the moment she first spoke. Though they are fakes. Shoto is the avatar. If he wasn't he wouldn't be in the gosh forsaken Kamakaze right now. Or worse d- no she can't go there. Gotta stay positive.
Soon they came upon a slight clearing in the woods. One tent and two sleeping bags were layed out by a not lit campfire. But what struck Azula's attention was the huge buffalo …bison? It had dark arrow markings along its back and head. It also wore huge saddle.
"What's that?" Azula asked while pointing to the bison.
"Appa, my flying bison!" Baldy answered while throwing her a cheeky grin.
Flying- oh. Air nomad. Well that would explain the arrow markings, on both boy and bison.
"Now why don't we all sit down and you get started on this 'long story' already" boomerang boy said distastefully.
Uncle and Zuko and Azula all sat quietly.
Azula leaned up against Zuko and whispered into his ear.
" truth?"
He leaned toward Uncle and asked for Azula.
Uncle sighed. And shook his head up and down once.
"We'll tell you the truth, but we must make one thing clear. We do not support the Fire Nation in this power crazed war." Iroh dropped the bomb with a stern look at each of the group.
"What? You're involved with the Fire Nation?!" Katara shrieked as she quickly stood and opened the cap to her water flask.
"Yes. We're Fire Nation. However, this war is stupid and leads to nothing for anyone. Just a worthless slaughter of human life for the crazed Firelord." Iroh answered truthfully- dang this is going just great.
"Wait, you're Fire Nation yet you're against the war? Why?" Arrow tattoo boi stood and placed an arm in front of water tribe hot-head.
"That will be explained in the story. Now, do you want to hear the full story or have us leave now. I understand if you would want nothing to do with us due to our nationality." Iroh gave them a choice, knowing full well their curiosity is gunna win out.
"Full story, now. And don't even think about lying, we have ways to know if you're telling the truth." Boomerang boy said.
"Then you will know that what we say is true." Iroh nodded in agreement.
Aang and Katara sat close together across from the now lit campfire. Toph and Sokka sat to their left. On the other side of the fire sat Iroh, to his left Zuko, then Azula.
As the story began, the sun had hit the horizon and beautiful colors painted the sky pink and orange.
"Four years ago, my nephews and niece lived with their parents in a high noble home. When my nephew, the one who is not here, had an…audience with the Firelord to show him his current abilities with firebending. Though this is when we found out he is the avatar. During his performance, he created ice. Something only waterbenders can do. The performance was canceled and he was sent back to his…home. After discussing with the firelord, they decided that 'for the best of the Firenation in the war blah blah we must send him to a secure prison to make sure there will be no interference with the war blah blah'. Oma and Lee tried to escape with their mother and brother after Oma had overheard the conversation. Though when they went to escape their father had already taken custody of their brother, we haven't seen him since. We purposely got ourselves banished so that we can freely search for him. After hearing about Aang, we had hoped that Kai, their brother, had escaped. Though that is sadly not the case. That brings us to now." Iroh swiftly explained, but he did leave quite a bit out and did twist the truth a rather much.
"Oh." Aang looked depressed. Why? Azula wouldn't know.
"Toph?" Katara nearly whispered.
"They're telling the truth. So you're saying for the last four years, one of your family has been in a prison? But you said you know where this prison was.?"
"We know what prison, we don't know where it is though" Zuzu croaked.
"Oh..what prison? Maybe we can help you look!" Aang smiled brightly.
"The Kamakaze. But I doubt you know anything about its location. Even Uncle doesn't have a clue on its location and he was a pretty important general before being banished with us." Azula gazed at the darkened sky.
"I'm pretty interested in this other avatar. Maybe you guys are the next step in finishing this war." Aang placed his fingers on his chin in thought.
"Whoa Aang, slow down. Why would we help them? There are so many holes in their story. Plus they're firebenders!" Katara sent a glare toward Azula, one that she would have gladly returned if not for them trying to seem harmless.
"Exactly Sugarqueen. Aang needs a firebender teacher if he is gunna beat the firelord. These people are good enough to know the firelord on a personal level, meaning they're probably great at firebending. And they're willing ti go against their own nation. Who else could possibly be better to teach Aang?" Toph sat back and threw her arms toward the sky.
"I don't know…" Sokka sighed.
"Fine. But give me one reason to think that you're going to hurt one of us, and I will personally make you regret you were ever born." Katara glared at each of them individually.
"I already do though?" Oh gosh- Zuzu actually looked confused.
"What"-
"Shut up Z-Lee" Azula slapped her forehead at her brother's stupidity.
