Wassup!
It's me, your favorite writer of all time!
…
At least I hope that's the case, who am I kidding, of course you love me! I love me too!
…
Sorry, I don't know why I have these narcissist thoughts at times, please forgive me.
Anyway, forgetting my eccentricities, let's dive into this chapter lads!
Start:
Sitting atop the roof, Naruto relished the fresh air and the occasional soothing breeze that swept over the landscape, turning an ordinary evening into something more serene and reflective.
The ambiance was greatly enhanced by the presence of Moka, the new friend he had made earlier in the day. Her stunning good looks and sunny disposition naturally drew attention wherever she went, creating a constant buzz around them.
As they had left the classroom earlier that day, it seemed as though all eyes were on them—or more specifically, on Moka. The experience uncomfortably reminded Naruto of the days following the Shinobi War when his newfound fame had people traveling long distances just to catch a glimpse of him in Konoha.
While it was flattering, it was also somewhat disturbing how people could obsess over someone based on their appearance or fame alone.
Shaking his head as if to dispel the cobweb of these intrusive thoughts, Naruto turned just in time to see Moka stepping out onto the roof to join him. She settled down beside him with a casual grace, leaning her back against the fence in a relaxed pose that contrasted sharply with the intensity of the stares that often followed her.
"So... I believe I have a promise to keep," Naruto stated nonchalantly, turning to face her with a playful smile that lit up his features in the fading light.
Moka's eyebrows rose in intrigue, and she scooted a bit closer, her interest piqued yet tempered by her respect for his boundaries. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to. It's against the rules, after all," she responded, her voice soft yet firm, emphasizing that he was under no obligation to disclose anything.
"And yet you told me what monster you were," Naruto gently countered, his tone teasing yet kind, aiming to lighten the mood.
The pinkette blushed, a hint of pink coloring her cheeks as she briefly looked away before meeting his gaze once more. "I didn't know it was against the rules," she admitted sheepishly, her embarrassment evident in her small, awkward smile.
"True," He acknowledged with a nod, his own smile broadening into a grin. "But I did make you a promise, and I always keep my word." His voice held a hint of pride, reflecting his commitment to his principles.
"That said, before I tell you, mind if I ask a question?"
Moka shook her head softly. "I don't mind, go right ahead."
The shinobi took a moment to word his question appropriately. "It's just… you don't really seem very monster-like, I mean, apart from the fangs, you don't really seem any different than how humans look. Do vampires generally look like you or is it something else?"
Shoving away the slight confusion over how her first friend didn't know what a vampire looked like, Moka just resolved to answer his question. "Oh, vampires do look like humans but we usually have three defining physical features. Silver hair. Red eyes. And Fangs. The reason I don't possess the other two traits right now is because of this."
She gestured to her chest and Naruto found himself momentarily confused before his gaze landed on a silver cross.
"This rosary acts as a seal and basically prevents me from going into my true form." Moka explained. "Though I couldn't remove it even if I tried."
"I see…" That raised a few questions but Naruto was satisfied for now. "But putting that aside…"
He paused for a moment, allowing the weight of his forthcoming revelation to settle between them. Moka's curiosity was palpable; her earlier hesitance had given way to an eager anticipation, her eyes wide and attentive.
Despite her initial reservations, it was clear she was deeply interested in learning more about him. Naruto's expression softened, touched by her genuine interest, and he contemplated just how much to share. The weight of his words was not lost on him, and he felt the responsibility of his promise keenly.
The weight of his words was not lost on him, and he felt the responsibility of his promise keenly. He took a deep breath, the cool evening breeze lightly ruffling his hair as he prepared to divulge his truth under the slowly darkening sky.
"I'm human, sort of... well, not exactly, it's a bit confusing to be honest," Naruto finally said, his voice carrying a mixture of hesitancy and openness.
"You're... you're human?" Moka stuttered, her voice rising in pitch as her body instinctively scooted away from him. The shock was evident on her face, her eyes wide as she processed his words.
Naruto's brow furrowed slightly, a pang of hurt flashing through his eyes at her reaction, but he masked it quickly with an understanding nod. He realized how his statement might sound, especially in a place like Youkai University where being 'human' could carry different connotations.
"Yeah, sort of," he tried to clarify, noticing her discomfort. "I mean, I'm not human in the way you might think."
Moka, still visibly shaken, managed to calm her racing heart enough to articulate her confusion. "What do you mean by 'sort of'?" Her voice was steadier now, but it still carried an edge of wariness.
Naruto sighed, his gaze drifting towards the horizon before returning to meet hers. "Well, I'm human, but I have abilities, abilities that your average regular human would not be able to perform, and due to certain circumstances, I'm not sure if I can be even be classified as human, though I do see myself as one."
The vampire absorbed his explanation quietly, the revelation that Naruto belonged to a species that had historically made her life, and the lives of other monsters, challenging was a lot to take in.
Naruto watched her reaction carefully, trying to gauge if she understood the nuance of what he was saying. It was important to him that she saw him as an individual, not just as a member of a broadly defined group.
However, as the seconds ticked by, he could see the conflict playing out across her features. Finally, Moka stood up abruptly, her movements shaky as she backed away.
"I-I have to go." She said, her voice trembling as she turned to leave, not waiting for his response.
Naruto stood there, a mix of emotions swirling within him as he watched her retreat. Hurt and confusion marred his features for a moment before he let out a tired sigh.

Moka's rapid footsteps crunched through the underbrush as she navigated the thickening forest, her heart pounding with a cacophony of emotions.
Hurt, sadness, frustration, confusion, and a biting resentment swirled within her, each step propelling her deeper into a state of turmoil. She could feel the beginnings of nausea rising, the acrid taste of bile threatening at the back of her throat, but she swallowed it down, determined to find a solitary place to sort through the chaos of her thoughts.
The recent revelation that Naruto, the kind-hearted blonde who had so quickly become her friend, was human, had thrown her into disarray.
She remembered the abrupt way she had left him, her movements quick and almost reflexive in their haste. Now, as the initial shock subsided, regret began to seep through the cracks of her hastened judgment.
"Great, Moka, just great." She muttered to herself, her voice laced with self-reproach. "You judge your first friend based on his race when you were terrified he'd do the same to you. Hypocrite much?" The words tasted bitter as she spoke them aloud, her self-disgust evident in the harsh whisper that echoed slightly off the trees.
Earlier that day, the fear of being judged for being a vampire had loomed large in her mind, a shadow that had nearly darkened the excitement of making a new friend.
And yet, when presented with Naruto's truth, she had reacted exactly with the prejudice she had feared from others. The irony of her actions was not lost on her, and it stung sharply.
She stopped suddenly, a small clearing in the forest providing the solitude she sought. The cool shade of the trees did little to soothe her heated thoughts as she replayed the scene on the rooftop over in her mind.
"I can't believe I did that. I just ran off... after he was so open about everything. He didn't even flinch when I said I was a vampire," Moka continued talking to herself, her voice a mix of anger and sadness. "And what do I do? I run away because he's human. Because he's from a race that has made life difficult for monsters. But wasn't he different? Didn't he just prove that to me?"
Sighing deeply, a sound more of agony and fatigue than relief, Moka knew what she had to do. The next time she saw Naruto, she would apologize. It was the only way to amend the breach of trust she had caused. Not giving him a chance, after he had given one to her so unhesitatingly, was unfair and not the person she wanted to be.
As the twilight deepened around her, Moka's heart skipped a beat at the sharp sound of a twig snapping. She spun around, her eyes wide with alarm, then narrowed in recognition as they landed on Saizou, the classmate whose lingering, uncomfortable stares she had noticed during class.
"Um, hello, can I help you?" Moka asked, her voice slightly meeker than she intended, a nervous smile playing on her lips.
Saizou's response was a cocky grin as he stepped closer, his gait confident, almost predatory. "Hey, Moka, just saw you heading this way all alone. Thought you might need some company." He explained, his tone overly friendly but carrying an edge that made Moka's skin crawl.
"I'm actually just about to head back," Moka replied, trying to keep her tone light and uninviting. She took a subtle step back, hoping to put some distance between them without making it seem like she was retreating.
"Oh, come on, don't be like that," Saizou chuckled, taking another step forward. "A beautiful girl like you shouldn't be wandering around alone. It's not safe." He added, his smile not reaching his eyes.
The pinkette felt her discomfort grow; his implications were clear, and his proximity was too close for her comfort. "Really, I'm fine. I was just leaving," she insisted, her voice firming as she attempted to sidestep him, aiming to make her way back to the more populated areas of the campus.
Saizou's hand shot out, blocking her path as he leaned in closer. "Why the hurry? I thought we could get to know each other a little better," he said, his voice dropping to a murmur that was meant to be enticing but came off as menacing.
Moka's heart pounded in her chest as she realized the situation was escalating. "Please, I need to go," her voice already raising slightly in panic.
"Don't be like that, Moka," Saizou pressed, his other hand reaching to grasp her arm. His grip was tight, his intentions now blatantly clear as he pulled her slightly toward him.
Panic surged through the vampire as she quickly assessed her options. With a swift movement, she yanked her arm away, managing to break his grasp. "Don't touch me!" she exclaimed, the fear in her voice now mixed with anger.
The male monster's expression darkened at her resistance. "Playing hard to get, huh? I like that," he sneered, stepping forward again, more aggressively this time.
Moka didn't hesitate; she turned and ran, her feet pounding against the forest floor as she darted through the trees. The sounds of Saizou's footsteps behind her spurred her on, her mind racing as she tried to put as much distance as possible between them.
Her breath came in ragged gasps, her thoughts a whirl of fear and desperation. She knew she needed to find help or at least make it back to the more populated areas where Saizou wouldn't dare continue his pursuit.
As she burst through the underbrush, the lights of the campus finally came into view, offering a beacon of safety. Moka pushed herself, her legs burning with exertion as she neared the edge of the forest.
Just as she thought she was safe, a hand clamped down on her shoulder, spinning her around. It was Saizou, his expression twisted in anger and frustration. "You can't run from me!" he hissed.
Moka's scream pierced the quiet of the forest, a stark alarm that split the cool air as Saizou's forceful grip on her shoulder threw her backwards.
She tumbled uncontrollably, her body rolling across the leaf-strewn forest floor, each bump and scrape etching a line of pain across her consciousness. When she finally came to a jarring stop, a low groan of agony escaped her lips, a raw sound that echoed her physical and emotional shock. For a moment, the world seemed to spin uncontrollably around her, the trees a blurry cage.
Struggling to regain her senses, Moka pushed herself up with trembling hands, the cold, damp earth beneath her providing a harsh reminder of the reality she faced.
Lifting her head with effort, she peered through a curtain of disheveled pink hair towards where Saizou had been standing.
Her breath hitched, caught in the grip of terror as she saw him now—transformed. His body was larger, his silhouette grotesquely twisted into a monstrous form that seemed pulled from the depths of a nightmare. His eyes glowed with a malevolent light, locking onto hers with predatory focus.
As he took a step forward, Moka's instincts screamed for her to escape. Panic surged, propelling her backwards, her hands scrabbling against the ground, leaves and twigs crunching under her desperate movements. But her retreat was abruptly cut short as her back slammed against the rough bark of a tree, the impact forcing the air from her lungs.
Trapped, she watched in horror as Saizou's smile widened into a horrific grin, his lips curling in a way that chilled her to the core.
He savored the fear that radiated from her, his stance that of a hunter poised to strike. He took another menacing step forward, his form looming larger as he prepared to close the distance between them.
But before he could reach her, a blur of motion exploded through the underbrush.
Whoosh!
With the force of a tempest, Saizou's monstrous form was suddenly hurtled away, his body crashing through the underbrush and smashing into trees, each impact marked by the crunch of bark and the rustle of disturbed leaves.
Where Saizou had stood, Naruto now appeared, his posture alert and his body tensed in a defensive stance, one leg still raised from the forceful kick he had delivered. His expression was a fierce mask of determination, his eyes scanning the dimming woods for any further threats. The setting sun cast long shadows that danced around him, highlighting the controlled power in his stance.
Moka, still pressed against the tree, stared in wide-eyed disbelief, her fear momentarily replaced by a surge of profound relief. She tried to steady her breath, her chest heaving with each gulp of air as she watched Naruto approach with quick, assured steps.
"Are you okay, Moka?" Naruto asked urgently as he reached her, his voice laced with concern. He extended a hand to help her up, his gaze never leaving her face, searching intently for any sign of injury.
Gulping, Moka nodded rapidly, her relief palpable as she struggled to regulate her breathing. "I-I'm okay, thank you," she managed to say, her voice interspersed with deep breaths, trying to calm her thundering heart.
Taking a moment to compose herself, Moka's gaze fixed on Naruto with a mixture of confusion and awe. "Naruto... how did you do that? You said you were human," She questioned, bewilderment clear in her tone.
"I did say I was different from your normal human, didn't I?" Naruto replied evenly, his eyes briefly shifting towards where Saizou had been forcefully dispatched.
Catching his glance towards the danger zone, Moka's tension spiked, and she quickly stood up, moving closer to him. "We have to get out of here, we're no match for him," she urged, her voice laced with fear.
"Running isn't an option. If we get away, he'll just try to attack you again," Naruto responded, his blue eyes hardening as he took a step forward, his intent clear. "I'm going to end this."
He had barely moved another step when he felt Moka's hands gripping his arm tightly. "Stop," she cried out, her voice cracking with emotion. "Why are you doing this, putting your life at risk for me? Did you already forget what I did to you?"
Turning to face her, Naruto's expression softened upon seeing the moisture building in her eyes. "Moka, I'll admit that it hurt when you ran away," he began, watching her flinch guiltily. "But I would be stupid to judge you when I don't know what kind of hardships you've been through." He didn't wait for her to respond, turning back to face the direction where Saizou might reappear.
"I don't want you to get hurt," she whispered, her words barely audible.
"I'll be okay, I promise. And I always keep my word," he reassured her, offering a comforting smile before he took another step forward.
That's when the unforeseen occurred—his arm brushed against her rosary, and it came undone. The rosary slipped from its place, triggering a sudden, unexpected transformation.
Both Naruto and Moka stared in shock, the former at the sudden release of the rosary, and the latter overwhelmed by the surge of power that began to emanate from her.
As the rosary clattered to the ground, a brilliant light enveloped Moka, bathing her in a glow that seemed to pulsate with hidden power.
Naruto watched, transfixed, as the transformation unfolded before his eyes. Moka's once vibrant pink hair faded into a luscious silver, flowing around her like a silken curtain caught in a gentle breeze. Her eyes, previously a soft green, shifted dramatically to a deep crimson, their pupils narrowing into predatory slits that glinted ominously in the dim light of the forest.
Her facial features became sharper, more defined, as if her bones had been sculpted by an artisan's hands. Moka's body grew slightly, her already graceful figure stretching and filling out in a way that suggested strength and deadly agility.
The innocent and friendly aura that had once surrounded her dissipated, replaced by an air of menace and power that resonated like the soft growl of a predator stalking its prey.
Naruto, despite the startling change, felt no fear—only a heightened awareness and a readiness to react if needed.
He sensed the dramatic shift in the air, the transformation not just of Moka's appearance but of the very essence of her being. She now exuded the undeniable presence of a vampire in her true form, it was quite fascinating for the blonde who had only learnt about the supernatural in less than a week.
Saizou, who had just stumbled upon the scene, recoiled as he took in Moka's new form. His eyes widened in terror, and his body began to tremble uncontrollably as the implications of what he saw sank in.
"The silver hair, the red eyes, and this immense pressure!" Saizou gasped out loud, his voice cracking with fear. "She's a vampire, a real vampire!"
But Moka paid him no heed; her crimson eyes lazily drifted to the side to land on Naruto, the one responsible for her release. Her gaze narrowed slightly, assessing him with a cold, calculating look that sent a shiver down his spine. Naruto stood his ground, his muscles tensed and ready, aware that the situation could escalate quickly if he made the wrong move.
Moka turned her attention back to Saizou, her eyes flickering with a dangerous light. "You chose the wrong target for your bullying." Naruto couldn't help but feel a hint of pity for the male monster, her voice was just downright cold and unforgiving,
Saizou stumbled backward, his fear peaking. "I-I didn't know who you were! Please, I didn't mean any harm!"
Moka stepped forward, her movements graceful yet filled with a deadly promise. "Your ignorance changes nothing. You are a threat, and threats must be dealt with."
Taking a few cautious steps back, Naruto decided it was best to observe the unfolding scene from a safer distance.
He watched intently as Moka gestured towards Saizou with a mocking curl of her finger, inviting him to approach. Caught between the need to salvage his bruised pride and the cold, gnawing fear in his veins, Saizou hesitated. His internal struggle was palpable as he stood there, trembling slightly, yet driven by a desperate need to assert his dominance.
With a snarl that seemed to serve as both a challenge to Moka and a pep talk to bolster his own faltering courage, Saizou finally found his voice. It was shaky, betraying the fear he was desperately trying to squash.
"It doesn't matter if you're a vampire, you're weak compared to me! All vampires are weak compared to me!" He yelled, his voice echoing through the trees, more to convince himself than to intimidate his opponent.
Moka, who stood with a composed and unbothered grace, merely raised an amused eyebrow at his proclamation.
Her posture relaxed but her eyes remained sharp, she responded with a voice dripping with disdain and challenge. "Then come at me, big boy. It shouldn't be hard for you." She taunted, her words laced with mockery.
Her taunt worked perfectly, sparking a fire of fury within Saizou. He roared loudly, a primal sound that filled the clearing as he charged forward, his large frame barreling towards her with the intent to use brute force to end the confrontation.
To the average observer, he appeared as a blur, his movement so rapid that the distance between them seemed to vanish in the blink of an eye.
But to Moka, his efforts were comically slow. With a fluid grace that belied the deadly intent behind her actions, she easily sidestepped his charge. Watching dispassionately as Saizou's momentum carried him past her, she prepared her counter.
As he skidded to a stop and turned with a feral growl, his vision was suddenly shattered by pain as Moka's heel met his face with the force of a sledgehammer. "Know your place!" She thundered, her voice resonant with authority and power as she executed a perfectly timed spinning heel kick.
The impact sent Saizou hurtling through the air like a discarded doll, his body crashing through several trees before he vanished from sight in a distant thud.
Naruto, who had been observing the swift and brutal exchange from his vantage point, couldn't help but be impressed.
The sheer physical prowess Moka displayed was remarkable. He mused silently that in a hypothetical battle against his mentor, Kakashi, Moka would undoubtedly present a formidable challenge. Her raw physical abilities appeared to surpass those of his seasoned teacher, though Kakashi's tactical acumen and versatility would likely balance the scales in an actual fight.
As Moka gracefully lowered her leg back to the forest floor, she flicked her luscious silver hair back with a huff of disdain, a sneer curling her lips as she surveyed the path of destruction her attack had wrought.
"Arrogant weakling." She muttered under her breath, her voice a low growl that carried a clear disdain for Saizou's presumptuous attack.
Turning her gaze back to Naruto, Moments passed before Moka allowed a sultry expression to cross her features, she eyed him akin to a lioness stalking her prey and the shinobi barely repressed a shiver.
She began walking towards him while her hips swayed in a manner that could only be described as alluring. Yet, Naruto sensed the act to be just that—an act. He knew the vampire before him wasn't one for such theatrics and was colder in demeanor than she was seductive.
Eventually, she came to a stop in front of him, her hand raising to cup his chin gently, pulling him closer. Her crimson eyes searched deeply into his, probing for any hint of his character. After a long, uninterrupted moment, Moka let go of his chin and stepped back, her gaze tinged with curiosity.
"You're not scared of me, are you?" she asked, though her tone made it sound more like a statement than a question.
Naruto tilted his head, a hint of confusion coloring his features. "Am I supposed to be scared of someone I think of as a friend?"
Moka chuckled at his response. "Generally, no, but the me from earlier is different from the me right now." She stepped closer, invading his personal space, and Naruto almost blushed. "I'm pretty dangerous," she whispered, her voice a seductive murmur.
"I'll take my chances," The shinobi replied steadily, his voice conveying his sincerity. "As far as I'm concerned, you're still my friend."
If he could befriend and be cordial with Obito of all people, the guy responsible for the tragedy of his life, then he was pretty sure that he could remain friends with her.
Besides, while she was strong, sure, she didn't hold a candle compared to him, and Naruto didn't think that with any offense intended.
Moka barely suppressed an amused smile from breaking out on her face as she stepped back. Bending down, she picked up the fallen rosary that had been forgotten during the entire proceeding. "Then I'll rely on you to protect me while I'm sealed, and before I forget,"
Her eyes narrowed slightly in a playful yet serious manner, "I do expect you to tell us how you're different compared to other humans out there."
"Yes, ma'am," Naruto replied with a mock salute, a hint of sarcasm in his tone.
Nodding in approval, Moka clipped the rosary back into place, and another transformation began.
The change was seamless yet elegant, a stark contrast to the fierce metamorphosis that had occurred earlier. Silver locks gradually shifted hues, morphing back into vibrant pink. Her eyes, previously a bleeding red, softened into a gentle, inviting green. Her entire demeanor shifted, becoming lighter, as if a heavy burden had been lifted.
As the transformation concluded, Moka stood still for a moment, her breathing evening out. Then, suddenly, her legs gave way. Acting quickly, Naruto stepped forward and caught her, holding her against his frame. To his surprise, he found the vampire had fallen asleep almost instantly.
End.
