When Mecha sonic booted up he and his fellow Scrapniks were in a dark void but things were different about them
for one he was no longer covered in rust, in fact none of them were.
he still had the parts that sigma gave him and so did the other Scrapniks but they felt more functional than before .
"sigma what's going on?" Mecha sonic asked
"by Jove! Mecha you have a voice box!" E117 sigma said
Mecha sonic soon realized that he did have a voice box
"I have one too." Mecha knuckles said
"what is going on?" Mecha sonic asked
"brother?" A voice said
Mecha sonic turned around and immediately saw two faces he thought he would never see again
silver sonic and metal sonic Mach 3.0 both fully repaired
both of them were lost when digging through a new section of the death egg after a cave in happened which permanently damaging them to the point of no return
"what happened?" Metal sonic Mach 3.0 asked "i remember the cave in at the death egg and that's it."
he looked at his hands
"where's my eggpawn arm?" He asked
"and where's my caterkiller leg?" Silver sonic asked
Mecha sonic simply hugged his brothers
"it's good to have you back." Mecha sonic said
"sorry to interrupt this family reunion." A voice said as a bright light appeared "but I need your help."
"with what?" E117 sigma asked
"think of it as a rescue mission." The voice said "you will be going into a world where %80 percent of the population has a unique power."
then the image of a young girl appeared
the girl had white hair and red eyes, she had a tiny horn on her forehead and she had bandages on her arms and legs
"this is Eri." The voice said "she is being used to produce a bullet that can erase people's powers or "quirks" as they're called in her world. She has the power to "rewind" any living thing to a previous state like turning a chicken back into an egg for example."
then the image of a man appeared
he had brown hair, yellow eyes and was wearing a green jacket and a bird mask
"this is Chisaki Kai aka overhaul." The voice said "he is the one doing the horrible experiments on Eri in order to make the bullets. your job is to save her and destroy the bullets. And bonus points if you kill overhaul in the most painful way possible."
"I see while I'm all for helping why did you pick us?" Sigma asked "couldn't you just picked sonic?"
"simple I like you guys and I want to help you." The voice said "if you succeed I will give you a way off Scrapnik island."
that was an offer the Scrapniks couldn't pass up
"your goal is simple keep Eri away from both heroes and villains alike." The voice explained
"why heroes?" Mecha knuckles asked
"while the heroes have good intentions I'm worried about the hero public safety commission and what they might do with her." The voice said "you can kill as many villains as you need to just don't kill the heroes."
"very well." Mecha sonic said "we accept."
"wonderful." The voice said "I'm going to drop you in during a raid on the villains main headquarters I've also given you upgrades so you can determine who's a hero and who's a villain as well as their quirks As well as a gps leading to a direct path to Eri."
a portal opened from under them
"now send those villains straight to hell for me." The voice said before they went through
when they arrived they saw a blue haired teen with octopus tentacles on his hands a man covered in crystals, a blonde man and a man in a straight jacket
they seemed to be in the middle of combat
"who are they?" The teen asked
their data bases identified him as the hero suneater
"EAT!!" The man in the straight jacket yelled before lunging at them
"WHY DON'T YOU EAT THIS!!!" Mecha knuckles yelled before opening his mouth and firing a missile at him
the missile connected causing a huge explosion
when the smoke cleared the man was missing his entire upper body
"that packs a punch." Mecha knuckles said
then the group of egg robos (named chuck, vector, and custard) opened fired at the man with crystals on his body and the blonde man killing them both
"we need to move!" Mecha sonic said before everyone progressed forward
suneater was confused
"were those guys...robots?" Suneater asked himself
with Mecha sonic
Mecha sonic and the Scrapniks were tearing their way through the building before eventually reaching eri in her room
"who-who are you?" Eri asked clearly scared
"we are friends." sigma said
"what's a friend?" Eri asked
before anyone could answer the guard outside eri's room heard them and busted down the door
"Stop right there!" The guard said
Mecha sonic's crab meat claw turned back into his original head and prepared to fire a mini missile
sigma covered eri's eyes to prevent her from getting anymore trauma
A loud BOOM rang through the building
"employee of the month ladies and gentlemen." Silver sonic said trying to lighten the mood
Mecha sonic was more sonic was more so focused on how his crab meat claw returned to his original arm
"yeah I gave you an upgrade all stats maxed out original body can be swapped to at any time and this shit even has mods." The voice from before said
"as for your question miss Eri friends are people who care for you that aren't family or romantic partners." Sigma explained
"oh then I don't deserve any..." Eri said "he said I hurt people and that's bad and bad people don't get nice things."
Mecha sonic moved eggman from his number one on his kill list to number two replacing him with overhaul because that shit overhaul pulled was not gonna slide
"it doesn't matter what you have done you can still have friends." Mecha sonic said "I should know better than anyone."
"and plus it wasn't your fault." Silver sonic said
one of the smaller Scrapniks tugged at Mecha sonic's cloak
it was a motobug with the eyes and claws of a crabmeat
he picked up the Scrapnik and put it in Eri's bed
"this is Boris he would like to be your friend." Mecha sonic said
"really?" Eri asked
Boris nodded before sitting next to Eri keen on protecting her
suddenly overhaul burst into the room
only to be met with a lot of guns pointed at him
"well that's not fair at all." Overhaul said
"I'm sorry we don't give a fk." Mecha sonic said intentionally censoring himself to protect what little innocence Eri had left after the torture overhaul put her through
every single Scrapnik unloaded into overhaul sending him flying into a very open room
overhaul slowly regenerated as the heroes busted through the wall
then a group of villains burst through a different wall and began fighting the heroes
then Mecha knuckles noticed a blond girl in school uniform sneaking towards them with a knife and quickly shot a missile at her sending her flying
"who are they?" A green haired hero who their data bases said was "deku"
"i'm not sure but they have eri." A blonde hero named lemillion said
Mecha sonic walked towards overhaul
"how pathetic." Mecha sonic said "torturing those weaker than yourself. All in the name of what? Power?"
"you don't understand." Overhaul said "I am the only one who sees her true potential!"
"and you will die being the last one who deludes themselves into thinking that." Mecha sonic said
suddenly a small bullet bounced off him
he looked down and his data base identified it as a quirk erasing bullet
"a shame." Mecha sonic said before stomping on the bullet "that your co worker has to die."
he teleported to where the bullet was fired and snapped the shooter's neck before grabbing the bullet case
"no more pain." Mecha sonic said before crushing the case and kicking the body over to overhaul "no more suffering."
overhaul laughed before absorbing the body transforming him
the heroes decided to use this opportunity to try to get to Eri but they were stopped by the Scrapniks
"I'm sorry ladies and gentlemen but miss Eri doesn't want visitors at the moment." Sigma said "please leave."
lemillion and deku rushed forward only to be stopped by Tom (mushroom hill act 1 boss) and metal sonic Mach 3.0
Tom began to block Deku's way while metal sonic Mach 3.0 hit lemillion faster than his quirk could activate sending him flying
Mecha sonic decide to ask the voice for an extra boost
"ask and thy shall receive." The voice said before Mecha sonic had 4 chaos emeralds in his hands
Mecha sonic immediately used them to power up into a semi super form shocking both heroes and villains alike
"I'LL CRUSH YOU!!!" Mecha sonic said before rushing into overhaul
(raging demon sound effect)
Mecha sonic had the symbol of death on his back before kicking overhaul into a pillar
Boris covered eri's eyes for the next part
Mecha sonic spin dashed into overhaul slowly cutting through him
"DIE!!!!" Mecha sonic yelled before fully cutting through him
silver sonic then released a barrage of lasers which not only fully destroyed overhaul but most of the villains in the building
(any other mods?) Mecha sonic thought to himself as the emeralds were teleported out of him
"built in chaos control." The voice said
"CHAOS CONTROL!!!" Mecha sonic yelled before all of the Scrapniks plus Eri were teleported out of the building
the heroes were now both extremely concerned and worried
meanwhile
the Scrapniks and Eri were teleported to a forest
Eri looked around she had never gotten this far
"there we are miss Eri we are safe." Sigma said
"what about-" Eri began but Mecha sonic stopped her
"he can't hurt you anymore he's gone." Mecha sonic said "i made sure of that."
"forever?" Eri asked
"forever." Mecha sonic said
Eri hugged mecha sonic's leg and began to cry
"there there let it all out." Sigma said
"thank you mister for saving me." Eri said
"oh goodness where are our manners?" Sigma said "I am E117-sigma."
"my name is Mecha knuckles." Mecha knuckles said
"I am Mecha sonic." Mecha sonic said
"silver sonic." Silver sonic simply stated
"metal sonic Mach 3.0." The machine introduced himself
"why are you all called sonic?" Eri asked
"we are failed duplicates of our creator's rival." Mecha sonic said
"In fact all of us are failures abandoned by our creator." Sigma said
"you're kinda like me." Eri said "he said that my mother gave me up because she didn't want me."
"well then we're all in the Same boat." Mecha sonic said slowly patting Eri's head in order to not freak her out
he felt some parental instinct when looking at the girl
"now we got her out. now what?" Silver sonic asked
"well you got two options." The voice who sent them on this mission said "stay here and take care of Eri while both heroes and villains hunt you down or go back to Scrapnik island and take her to the mainland."
Mecha sonic thought for a few minutes
if they went back to Scrapnik island they run the risk of eggman finding them but if they stay here a lot more people would be looking for them
but no matter what option he picked he would defend eri with his life
soon he came to a decision
a decision I'm not making since this is just a one shot
(unless you give me enough ideas)
but I give y'all full permission to make your own sequel to this
