Potternatzu: thank you, and here's the next chapter

TwinstarDragon: yes, yes they did. Sadly, it won't happen. From what i understand, the killing curse kills the body and sends the soul to the afterlife. Only something like the stone of resurrection of the deathly hallows would be able to let them come back temporarily, and voldemort likely turned it into a horcrux. However, harry's parents ARE disappointed in everyone that had a hand in his torment, and they will make their displeasure known, once the person (people) get to the afterlife. Why would death need to do anything? They will get their karma in due time. Mostly when voldemort rises again.

Glinter: is that supposed to be a flame or constructive criticism? Also, i would like to point out that not only am i still figuring out how to properly write, i'm more of a reader and reviewer, and i don't have a beta for my writings, at all

"Where's your guild mark?" the guard asked. Cobra then showed him his guild mark. "Alright, go on inside, cobra," the guard said, letting cobra into the city.

Now

Cobra was walking for about ten minutes, when he got to his guild building. When he opened the door, he saw that everyone was fighting, yet again. Growling, cobra pulled down his mask and breathed out a bunch of weak numbing poison, which caused them all to fall to the ground in heaps, before putting his mask back. "So," cobra began, getting the attention of the other members present. "What was the fight about, THIS time?" he growled out.

Some members looked over to cobra, only to have their eyes bug out. Not only was cobra wearing something that replaced his jacket, but he was carrying a large egg, as well. "Well? Who's going to answer me?" cobra demanded. The members grew nervous, until natsu stepped up, and asked the main question that was on everyone's mind: "Where did you find that egg, cobra?"

"After walking for hours, i tried to nap in a cave, when i was rudely woken up. After investigating deeper in the cave, i saw a bunch of vulcan arguing about what to do with this egg. After punishing the vulcans for interrupting my sleep, and freeing the people they were possessing, i took the egg and continued my journey back," cobra explained.

Suddenly, there was a cracking noise coming from the egg. After a few moments, the egg finished hatching, and a ball of light came out of it. "Looks like this is the second time an egg like that hatched here," makarov said. Before cobra could ask what he meant, the light faded, and revealed a solid white cat with piercing yellow eyes and black dots on her back. "Hi," she squeaked. Cobra was shocked, as he watched the exceed fly around a bit, before landing on cobra's messy poison colored hair.

Natsu started laughing. "That's exactly what happened when happy was born," he managed to say while laughing. Having had enough of natsu laughing, cobra did the only thing he could reasonably think of to get him to stop, he punched natsu in the face. "Shut up, natsu" cobra growled.

Cobra went to the bar and sat next to the master. "Oh, i just remembered something, gramps," cobra said. "What is it, child?" "why did you approach cubelios before i came here?" cobra asked. "Oh, that. You see, child, your snake friend's form is not her true form. I was going to break it for her, so she could return to her true form," makarov explained. "However, the only downside i can think of, is that she may lose her experiences while she was a snake," makarov finished.

"I see," cobra said. Just then, cubelios approached them. §cobra, what are you talking about?§ cubelios asked. §the old man was explaining why he approached you, before i came to this guild§ cobra explained. §well? Why did he do so?§ cubelios wanted to know. §apparantly, your current form is not your real form. The old man was going to break it for you, so you'd be in your true form. However, doing so may cause you to not remember your experiences as a snake§ cobra explained.

Cubelios was surprised. §do you want to return to being human?§ cobra asked. Cubelios thought it over for a few minutes. §i've decided§ cubelios said. §what did you decide, cubelios?§ cobra asked. §i want to return to my true form§ cubelios decided. §ok, cubelios…§ cobra said sadly. "Gramps," cobra said. "Yes, child?" makarov asked. She decided to have the curse broken," cobra said. "Alright, child. I will do so," makarov said.

"Perhaps we should do it in a private room?" cobra proposed. "Alright, follow me, you two," makarov said, leading cobra and cubelios to a private room. "Go get a blanket, cobra, just in case she's not wearing anything," makarov instructed cobra, which cobra did.

Makarov put a hand on cubelios, and she glowed golden. There was a large poof of smoke and, before makarov and cobra could see the human form of cubelios, cobra tossed the blanket to where he guessed she was. Once the smoke cleared, both makarov and cobra saw a petite girl around cobra's age with violet colored hair and dark green eyes.

"Hello there, young lady. Might i ask who you are?" makarov asked kindly, to which the girl looked at makarov. "I'm kinana," she introduced herself. "What's the last thing you remember, kinana?" makarov asked. Unbeknownst to either makarov, kinana or the newborn exceed on his head, cobra was looking at kinana hopefully, desperately hoping that she remembers her time at cubelios.

"The last thing i remember is a mage turning me into a snake," she said, unknowingly breaking cobra's heart. "Well, i'll have one of the girls in the guild take you clothes shopping," makarov said. "Thank you, sir," kinana said. After makarov took kinana to some of the girls and explained the situation to them, cobra collapsed to the floor, the exceed in his hair now in his arms, before he began to cry a bit, hugging the exceed, the tears flowing down his cheeks.

Hours later

Mira and erza were arguing with each other, when they noticed something. "Where's cobra?" mira asked. Erza stopped and thought about it. "I haven't seen him since he took a blanket to that private room," erza said. "The same blanket that girl came out wearing? The same one that levy took shopping for clothes?" mira asked. Erza thought about it for a bit. "Ok, i'm worried about him," erza said. "me, too," mira said. "Check on him together?" mira proposed. "Alright," erza said, before the both of them went to the private room to check on cobra.

Outside the private room

Mira knocked on the door. " cobra, you in there?" mira asked. "What?" a miserable voice said. "We're here to help," erza said. "Go away," cobra said through the door. "That's it," erza said, before she requipped a large hammer and smashed the door open. "Erza, what are you-" mira began to lecture erza, until she saw cobra, and the state he was in. erza looked at mira, not seeing cobra, yet. "Why did you stop, mira?" erza asked. Mira simply grabbed erza's face and turned it towards cobra.

Erza was shocked at the state he was in. She quickly requipped her hammer away and quickly went to cobra's side, with mira being on the opposite side of erza. "What's wrong, cobra?" erza asked her friend. "Cubelios," cobra sobbed. "What about her?" erza asked. "Gramps found out that cubelios was a human cursed into the form of a snake. I asked her if she wanted to return to her actual form, and she wanted to be human, again," cobra said.

"Well, that's good, right?" mira asked. Cobra began sobbing again. "Gramps warned that there was a chance that she would not remember her time as a snake," cobra explained. Mira and erza started to get a bad feeling in their stomachs. "What happened?" mira asked.

"cubelios, my oldest friend, didn't remember me, at all," cobra sobbed. Erza and mira were now crying. So, they did the only thing they could think of: they both hugged him.

Later

After cobra managed to get the sadness out of his system, he decided to name the exceed in his arms. "Little on, how do you feel of the name 'yuki'?" the female exceed hugged his face in response. "*chuckle* yuki it is," cobra said.

Months later, cobra and yuki were on a job. Luckily, cobra managed to take motion sickness pills, which helped with most of the motion sickness, but his stomach was still turning. "*groan*, i hope we get to the destination, soon, yuki," cobra groaned. "Don't worry, cobra, we will," yuki said.

Or rather, the new form of hedwig.
