Episode 10: The Origin of Solaris
(Play Tropical Jungle - The Jungle from Sonic 06 for this section.)
Ash's Swellow flies him and Amelia through the jungle.
Ash: Swellow, fly straight up! And Princess, hold on!
Team Rocket's grunts and their Pokémon began to chase after them. Swellow continues to fly them through the jungle.
Princess Amelia: Ash, I'm scared!
Ash: Don't worry, Amelia. I'll protect you from them. Pikachu, use Thunderbolt! (Pikachu uses Thunderbolt on the grunts and their Pokémon following and they were sent blasting off again. Swellow continues to fly them through the jungle and then went through the cave.) We're getting out of the cave! (Swellow continues to fly them through the jungle and then as soon as they found the end of the jungle, they begin to make their descent.) Hang on, Princess!
Swellow takes them to the bottom part of the jungle.

Swellow lands.
Ash: Swellow, return! (Swellow returns to its Pokéball) Sceptile, I choose you! (Sceptile was released from its Pokéball.) Sceptile, can you escort me and the Princess to the exit of the forest? (Sceptile nods and carries Ash, Pikachu and Amelia on his shoulders.) Hold on, Princess!
Princess Amelia: Okay Ash!
Sceptile carries Ash, Pikachu and Amelia through the bottom part of the jungle. He then jumps across the water and when they notice Team Rocket's grunts and their Pokémon, Sceptile begins to battle.
Ash: Sceptile, use Leaf Blade!
Sceptile uses Leaf Blade on the grunt and their Pokémon and sent them flying. And then he continues to carry Ash and Amelia through the jungle. When he made it to the exit, more grunts surrounded them and released their Pokémon.
Princess Amelia: Ash, what do we do?!
Ash: I know! Pikachu, Thunderbolt all of them! (Pikachu thunderbolts all of the grunts and their Pokémon and they were all sent flying. Sceptile then made it to the exit of the jungle.) Sceptile, return! (Ash returns Sceptile to its Pokéball and the music ends.) Let's go Princess.
Princess Amelia: Okay.
Ash picks up Amelia and starts to carry her.
Deep within Madera Forest, Ash, with Amelia in his arms and Pikachu on his left shoulder, is running through the lush jungle.
Princess Amelia: It looks like we've lost them.
Ash: I'll settle things here. Amelia, you should go back to the castle.
Princess Amelia: Okay... (Ash makes a turn to the right.) Ash? (They stop by a lake surrounded by green grass and numerous trees.) It's so beautiful! I've never seen so many flowers before! Ash, have you visited many wonderful places before?
Ash: Yeah.
Princess Amelia: Once you defeat Team Rocket... you'll leave, won't you? (Ash nods) Though I've been frightened many times, I've also enjoyed this adventure. It allowed me to be something other than a Princess. I was able to be myself... a girl.
Ash: It sounds like being a Princess isn't that easy.
Princess Amelia: It isn't sometimes, but I love this country. Everyone in the castle, the children, all my citizens really... The same love my late father and mother had...
The scene flashbacks to the Duke of Madera sitting on a chair gently stroking a younger Amelia's forehead.
Duke of Madera: Don't cry, Amelia. Become a strong queen who doesn't cry no matter what happens.
The flashback ends.
Princess Amelia: And so, I do my best to protect my country. I understand everything my parents said to me now. Ash, if you leave here to go on another adventure... Remember this place.
Ash: (Clenches his fist) Definitely. (Amelia suddenly strays away for a few moments.) Amelia.
Princess Amelia: I'm fine... Sorry. (I mustn't cry... I can't...)
Amelia quickly hugged Ash before it seemed that she was about to cry.
Ash: Amelia... smile.
Amelia smiles and they continue to look at how beautiful the forest is.
Meanwhile with Gary and Diego, a Time-Space rifts opens and deposits Gary and Diego in a long corridor at an underwater base. The scene shifts to a large room with the Duke of Madera and some scientists watching a cylinder filled with sparkling orange energy.
Scientist: An electromagnetic pulse has just been generated! Injecting decompression agent! No, the level's not dropping! A spatial meltdown is inevitable! My Lord, it's too late! We've got to take shelter!
Duke of Madera: Why, Solaris? Why do you refuse to listen to my voice?
Princess Amelia (Young): (Come running) Father!
Duke of Madera: Amelia!
As the cylinder is about blow up, the Duke shelters Amelia from the explosion. Gary and Diego see the explosion and runs to it. Upon entering the room, the duo check on the duke and the scientists when they see Solaris split into Azrael and Lucifer.
Diego: Is that? That flame... It's Azrael!
Gary: And the black shadow is the original Lucifer.
Diego: That's Lucifer!? (Lucifer and Azrael flee? They're escaping!
Gary: We'll have to split up, I'll pursue Lucifer.
Diego: OK. Then leave Azrael to me!
Duke of Madera: Wait. Seal it with this...
He holds out the Scepter of Darkness to Gary.
Diego: Hurry!
Diego runs away before Gary takes the Scepter of Darkness and leaves as well. The duke starts picking up an unconscious Amelia.
(Play Aquatic Base - Level 1 from Sonic 06 for this section.)
Diego: A laboratory like this, under Madera...
Gary: Yeah. It looks like their science was pretty advanced.
A bunch of fire and purple creatures appear and Diego releases Altaria.
Diego: Altaria, use Dragon Pulse!
Altaria uses Dragon Pulse on the creature and defeats them. The door opens and Diego approaches Gary.
Gary: You go, and leave the rest to me.
Diego: Okay.
Gary and Diego then went to the next room and then Gary releases Electivire to battle more fire and purple creatures.
Gary: Electivire, use Thunder Punch! (Electivire uses Thunder Punch on all of the creatures and then continues to use more moves on them and they were all defeated.) Electivire, return!
Diego: Ivysaur, come on out! (Ivysaur was released from its Pokéball and it uses its vines to grab Gary and Diego and lift them up the platform.) Thanks Ivysaur. (He returns Ivysaur to its Pokéball.) Gary, I'll be looking out for your "truth."
Diego and Gary release Altaria and Fearow and the flying type Pokémon began flying them across the base. More creatures appeared.
Gary: Fearow, use Wing Attack!
Fearow uses Wing Attack on the creatures.
Diego: Altaria, use Dragon Pulse!
Altaria uses Dragon Pulse on the creatures and they were all defeated. They then made it to another part of the base and Diego pushes the switch to open the door. After going through the door, they made it across the base, defeated more creature and made it to the start.
Gary: Diego, let's split up and find our respective target!
Diego: Okay!
Gary enters the room where it takes him across a pit to the next door. He releases Fearow.
Gary: Fearow, let's go!
Fearow caws and takes Gary to the next room. Diego releases Altaria and the Pokémon flies him across a pit and he is at a door, blocked by several fire and purple creatures.
Diego: Altaria, use Haze and then Dragon Claw! (Altaria uses Haze and Dragon Claw to defeat them.) Good work! (Altaria then flies him down to the next room, which was full of fire and purple creatures.) Altaria, those switches can be used to defeat them all at once! Use Hyper Beam on them!
Altaria uses Hyper Beam on the switches and they instantly defeated all the creatures upon being activated. He then made it to the next room.
(Play Aquatic Base - Level 2 from Sonic 06 for this section)
Gary's Fearow was flying him through the base.
Gary: Almost... (Fearow uses Wing Attack to defeat all the creatures in its' path. He then flies him to the next room and then he entered another hallway and Fearow flies him through there and when the glass doors closed behind him, more creatures broke through them, they charged at him. He releases Blastoise.) Blastoise, use Hydro Pump on those creatures! (Blastoise uses Hydro Pump on all the creatures and then the door opened. Blastoise then used Hydro Pump on the switches, activating them and instantly defeating all the fire and purple creatures.) It's not over. I can't let down my guard! (They then entered the last part of the room where a bunch of creatures appeared. Gary releases all of his Pokémon from their Pokéballs.) Everyone, use all of your best moves on these creatures!
All of Gary's Pokémon battled the fire and purple creatures. After a long battle, they were all defeated and Gary begins to seal Lucifer. Meanwhile, Diego is battling fire creatures with his Altaria and after defeating them, he made it to a room, with water below the platforms.
Diego: Was this underwater? (Altaria uses it's best moves to defeat all the creatures in its path. After that, they made it to the final room, where a bunch of creatures appeared.) Altaria, use Haze and then Dragon Pulse!
After doing so, they were engaged in a big battle. After that, Altaria came out victorious and Diego begins to seal Azrael.
Back with Gary, Lucifer in his liquid form slithers away.
Gary: With this Time Stone's power, I will use it to stop you!
Lucifer: ...What? ...Stop! (Gary lets the Scepter of Darkness float in front of him. The scepter glows, beginning the process of drawing Lucifer into it.) Who... Who are... you?
Gary: I'm Gary Oak, the grandson of the Kanto Region Pokémon Professor Samuel Oak!
Lucifer: Gary... Your face... Your form... I will remember. Your death... Certain... You... will die!
Lucifer is sucked completely into the Scepter of Darkness, sealing him within it. After it falls to the ground, Gary slowly picks the scepter up.
Meanwhile with Diego, he uses his Ivysaur's Solar Beam to entrap Azrael, and Ivysaur tries to hold up his strength as best as he can, when he notices the weakened Duke approaching, holding his unconscious daughter.
Diego: Hey! What are you doing? You've got to leave!
Duke of Madera: I have my duty. This Living Flame has been entrusted to the royal family. (Approaches Azrael) The Flames of Disaster will awaken if nothing is done! That must not happen. (The Duke sets Amelia down on the altar and takes out a Time Stone, then holds it aloft and launches it upward. The Duke takes a few steps backward and prays.) Eternal Sun! The Living Flame that has been entrusted to the royal family! Fall into slumber with a royal soul! (Duke lifts his hands upward, and Azrael shrinks, becoming minuscule, and vanishes into the time stone, which then injects him as a beam of light into Amelia, who moves a little. Ivysaur's Solar Beam stops and Diego looks in wonder. The Duke collapses on the altar, weakened and all worn out and trying to breathe. Diego looks at him as he picks up the unconscious Amelia and stumbles onto him.) I'm sorry, but... (Looks at Diego) Can you take her to a safe place? (Diego clutches Amelia in his arms as her father falls to the floor and takes one last look at her and Diego. The Duke takes her hand and places it on her other hand, then cradles her head softly.) That's a good girl, Amelia. Remember, be brave. Don't cry, no matter what happens. Otherwise your tears will call forth the flames inside you... Become a strong queen who doesn't cry no matter what happens. And... live... happily...
The Duke crumbles onto the floor and breathes his last breath. Diego and his Ivysaur looks at the Duke's dead body, then at the altar, and then at Amelia. They grieve a bit over her father, and looks up at the sky and the time stone as the camera pulls away.
Outside the Aquatic Base, Diego clutches the unconscious Amelia in his arms as Gary walks out to him with Lucifer sealed in the Scepter of Darkness in Kingdom Valley.
Diego: Did you do it?
Gary: Yes. And you?
Diego pauses and nods.
Diego: ...Yes. The "Flames" are properly sealed. It's done. (Diego carries her and sets her near a tree, then looks at her. Gary holds up the Scepter of Darkness, then walks around and looks at them both. He kneels down and sets the Scepter on the grass near the same tree. The camera makes a close-up of Lucifer sealed inside the Scepter.) You're going to leave it behind?
Gary: Yes, I already know what becomes of it in the future... (Looks at Diego, then stands up and takes out a time stone.) It's time to return.
Diego gets up, looks at Amelia, and walks away.
Diego: Yes... Of course.
Both trainers have each time stone in hand, approach each other, and hold them aloft.
Gary and Diego: Time Stone Go!
The light emerges from both time stones once again and splits up, opening a space-time rift in front of them. Gary jumps into it, and Diego looks at Amelia once again. She starts to move around, and he walks to the portal as she moves.
Princess Amelia (Young): (Mumbles) Father...
Diego looks at her, then takes out his time stone, looks at it one last time, then goes to her slowly. He kneels down at her dormant body, then takes her hand, and sets the time stone upon it.
Diego: It's a lucky charm.
Diego sets the time stone and her hand down on her lap, and Amelia moves around again to the other side. He gets up and takes one last look at her, then turns around, runs, and jumps into the time portal as it closes. It is assumed that he already has another time stone from the Duke of Madera.
At Soleanna, a Soleanna Royal Guard is conversing with two citizens. A shadow of the Team Rocket battleship is seen and the three turn to look at the battleship flying above the city. Citizens begin to panic as the Team Rocket Trio makes their announcement.
Jessie: Princess Amelia, ruler of Madera... By refusing to negotiate with us, you have forced us to take drastic actions.
May is seen in the crowd witnessing the battleship before turning to run away.
James: Meet is at the specified point alone at 4 o'clock today.
Meowth: Failure to do so on time, will result in our leveling of this city so that nothing but ashes remain!
Amelia stands outside on the balcony of her castle as she listened to this.
Amelia's lady-in waiting 1: Miss Amelia!
Princess Amelia: I cannot allow harm to come to my people.
As the battleship flies closer in the background, Amelia turns to leave. She stops.
Amelia's lady-in waiting 2: Miss Amelia!
Princess Amelia: It is my duty as Princess of Madera to go... There is no other choice.
She continues walking, heading to rendezvous and surrender to the Team Rocket Trio for the sake of her people.
