Summary: Trezo's out of control after the incident with the Poison Ivy clone… but how could that be, when the Galaxy Rangers know he's in a meditative coma on an uninhabited world to purge the Kryptonite laced pheromones?
Quick note: Sorry I didn't have this up on Saturday as usual and unfortunately, I might not be able to put anything up this coming Saturday as I have a really busy day planned.
However, I will make up for it with 2 chapters either the weekend after or in 3 weeks as well as reposts from Paladars, a new standalone I'm currently working on, and a sequel to Unexpected reunion (hopefully) by the end of the month. Anyway, as always, I hope you enjoy reading this as I did writing it.

Episode 7
Man behind the mask
A young girl was in downtown Terra Venture with her Mom, waiting for her Dad to join them at a small café near the Command Tower. She was playing with a pink balloon her Mom had gotten from a vendor at the park before they'd headed this way.
"Daddy!" the girl cried when she spotted her Dad coming up from behind her Mom. She reached out for a hug and kiss, which he was glad to give her as he sat down.
"Sorry I'm a little late, but Security's been tight recently going in and out of the Tower, so it took me a little longer than usual," the Dad explained.
"Whatever, we put in an order for all our food so it should all come out at the same time," the Mom said dismissively. He noticed his daughter looking down, trying not to cry.
The Dad sighed. "Hon, we agreed to not do this around Abby," he reminded her. They'd been arguing a lot since as his wife hadn't wanted to come to Terra Venture but understood this was something he couldn't pass up as he'd been offered a big pay hike.
"You're right and I'm sorry," the Mom replied.
Suddenly, a strong gust of wind came through and pulled the balloon out of Abby's hands and started floating away. Her Dad was making his drink order and her Mom was looking for something in her purse, so neither noticed as she hopped down and started following it to get it back before it floated too far above her head.
However, what Abby didn't notice was that she was getting too close to the road. "Abby?" her Mom called out as she just noticed Abby was missing and they both looked around for her.
Abby's Dad was the first to notice where she was. "Oh God, Abby, no!" he cried out and they both shot to their feet and tried hurrying over to her but they were horrified to realize there was no way they could get to her in time.
"Whoa there, little lady," a voice said and with that, Abby suddenly found herself getting gently swept up into the arms of a man with a colorful symbol on his chest. "The road's not a playground."
Abby looked up in wide eyed awe at the grinning face of her favorite superhero, Trezo. To her relief, he'd also been able to snag the balloon, which he handed back to her. "Wow," she whispered.
Abby's cousin Jessica had told her about getting saved by him a few weeks back right before launch and even showed her the shield beacon so now, they had that in common.
"Oh, thank you so much, Trezo," Abby's Dad said as her parents hurried up to them. "We just had turned away for a second and Abby got away from us. We could never thank you enough."
"You don't have to as it was both my job and my honor, sir," Trezo replied, handing Abby over to her Mom, who quickly checked her over to see if she was all right.
"Please let us at least treat you to a meal as it's the least we can do as you saved our little girl," Abby's Mom offered.
"I appreciate the offer, ma'am, but I've already eaten today," Trezo said, "I've got to go but I'm glad I was able to save… Abby, right?" The 3 nodded. "As well as her balloon."
"Thank you, Trezo," Abby said.
Trezo winked at Abby. "You're more than welcome, Abby," he said before he had to hurry off.
"Dallas, I'm so sorry I've been so difficult since coming aboard," Abby's Mom said, in tears from almost having just lost their daughter.
"It's all right, Astrid," Dallas replied, "I know it was tough to leave Earth behind, but you don't know how glad I am to have you both here with me." Astrid nodded and the 2 kissed.

Kendrix was trying her best to focus on the experiment she was looking at under her microscope but found she couldn't because she was so worried about Leo. It'd been a week since he'd left to isolate himself and she hadn't heard from him since.
Thankfully, Kendrix had found a way to stabilize Lillian, so at least that was a load off her mind. Poison Ivy had asked for time off to spend time with her "sister", which she'd granted without thought. It hadn't been much different than when her Mom had died, so it was easy.
A knock sounded on the door and Quinn stepped in after Kendrix bade him entry. "I'm sorry to bother you, Director, but I need you to take a look at something," he said, handing her the tablet in his hand.
Kendrix looked it over but didn't really pay much attention to what she was looking at. Quinn's research was always very solid, so she had no reason to question it. "Looks good," she said, handing the tablet back.
"Is everything all right, boss?" Quinn asked. Kendrix would usually go into a little more detail, whether it's more praise for good work or constructive criticism and suggestions if she saw something not that didn't seem to be adding up.
"Yeah, I just heard a friend of mine back on Earth is having trouble," Kendrix answered, "Don't worry, it wasn't illegal or anything like that, but he is going through some health problems."
Quinn nodded. "I hope everything turns out all right for him," he said.
Kendrix smiled. "Thanks, Quinn," she said.
"By the way, did you hear about that save Trezo made earlier?" Quinn asked.
That made Kendrix freeze. How could that be possible? Leo would've told her that he was back, probably by coming here and kissing her senseless, maybe picking up where they left off that one day he'd visited her here. "Um, no, I missed it," she said, "What happened? When did it happen?"
"I think it happened downtown about 20 minutes ago," Quinn replied, "A little kid had almost stepped out into the road and got run over, but he popped in and stopped her at the last second. It's all over the news.
"I'm so glad he's here," Quinn said, "It's made me feel a lot safer, you know? I mean that with no offense to the Galaxy Rangers and that new Green Lantern guy as they've also done their fair share, but it never hurts to have a Kryptonian around to help people."
Kendrix was stunned. 'That sounds like Leo alright, but why hasn't he dropped by?' she asked herself. She barely managed a chuckle and nodded. "Yeah, same here. He's done a lot of good already as have the Galaxy Rangers and Green Lantern," she said.
"Anyway, I'll get out of your hair now, boss," Quinn said.
Kendrix nodded then waited for a few minutes after Quinn left before pulling out her cell phone and trying Leo's number, but it went to voicemail. "Damn it, Leo where are you and what the Hell's going on?' she thought.
Most of the team were at work, so Kendrix tuned her watch to Th'm's' ring signature, the easiest way to get hold of him. "Have you come across Leo?" she asked when it went through.
"No, why?" Th'm's asked. Kendrix explained what Quinn had told her. "Oh, that's what that was? My ring had picked up a commotion going on out that way but by the time I got there, everything seemed to be normal and he was gone. It's so weird that he hasn't tried to contact you."
"Yeah, tell me about it," Kendrix complained, "Something feels off about this whole thing. Just keep an eye out for him and get hold of me when you've found him, would you please? I'll help search as soon as I'm off."
"Gotcha," Th'm's replied.

Angie sighed as she printed out a ticket and put it on her third car. 'At least I'm not on desk duty or Paul Blart patrol,' she thought. While her shoulder was doing much better, it still wasn't quite healed enough to be cleared for active duty, so she was running her meter reader route.
Angie turned and started to walk off when someone scoffed behind her. "Did you just give me a ticket?" they rudely asked. She sighed as she turned to find your stereotypical Karen glaring at her, the newly printed ticket in hand. The tags had come up with Tracy Blankenship.
"Yes, ma'am, and frankly, you're lucky I didn't have you towed as you're in a fire lane, not a legal parking spot," Angie replied, trying not to roll her eyes. "At the very least, you'd have been lucky as if there had been an emergency, at the very least, your 2 front windows would've been broken a good chance your car would've been towed afterwards."
"Don't you ma'am me, young lady," the woman spat, "I make almost 4 times what you probably do in a year."
"Cool, so a parking ticket with a relatively minor fine attached should be no problem," Angie pointed out, "Also, what's with the 'young lady' bit? According to your info, you're actually a little younger than me."
"Now, you listen here, missy…" the woman growled but stopped in mid-sentence as her eyes went from glaring at Angie to widening when she saw something just over her shoulder.
"Is there a problem here, ladies?" a very familiar voice asked.
Angie smiled as she turned to see Trezo standing behind her. "Not at all, Trezo," she said, "Mrs. Blankenship here was just telling me that she could easily pay the parking ticket, isn't that right, ma'am?"
The woman nodded. "Yes yes, no need to step in here, Trezo," she said and with that, she got into her car and drove off.
"I had it covered but still, thanks, Trezo," Angie said.
"It's quite all right, Officer Marshak," Trezo replied.
Angie was surprised that Trezo'd glanced down at her name tag before saying that but shrugged it off. "I've told you time and time again, it's Angie," she reminded him.
"Oh right, sorry… Angie," Trezo corrected himself, "It's just been kind of a busy day and I just forgot for a moment, you know?"
"Ugh, I wish I knew what a busy day was like," Angie complained, "I've dealt with injuries worse than this back home but here, I separate my shoulder twice in a week and my Captain treats me like I'm made of glass with some of the worst duties a cop can be assigned. I almost swear I'm being punished for something."
"Bah, don't worry about it, Angie," Trezo said encouragingly, "I'm sure your shoulder will be much better in no time and you'll be back in the thick of things before you know it."
Angie couldn't help but smile at that. "Hey, I need to go investigate a factory downtown and everyone else is busy, so would you mind coming with me as backup?" she asked, "If you don't need to rush off to help anyone else of course."
"Nothing's coming up that I can hear, so sure," Trezo answered.
"Well, would you please do that portal thing to get us over there?" Angie asked.
"Oh sorry, but no go as the portal system's down," Trezo apologized.
Angie nodded. "Well, my cruiser is around the corner, so come on," she said, gesturing with her good hand. Trezo nodded and followed her to her car and they hopped in. It didn't take them long to get to the factory but didn't find anything. "Aw, damn it."
"Were the people you got the report about bad?" Trezo asked.
"We're not sure, which was why I needed to come this way," Angie answered, "This is technically off the books as I'm not supposed to be doing anything but writing parking tickets."
"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone if you don't," Trezo said with a wink.
"By the way, it's been a while and I thought you'd forgotten about me," Angie said a little flirtatiously. She felt a bit bad as Trezo seemed to have a thing with the Pink Galaxy Ranger but after striking out with Leo and not seeing hide nor hair of that Logan guy, she thought she'd try another shot with the resident Kryptonian superhero.
"Sorry, just been kind of busy between helping the Galaxy Rangers fight off their bad guys and fighting crime here and back home, you know?" Trezo asked. Angie nodded. She'd had to ghost a few guys in the past due to her erratic schedule being a cop, so she knew how that was.
"Well then, how would you like to make it up to me?" Angie asked, this time pouring on the charm. "I still have that tattoo of your symbol that I've been dying to show you since we first met at Blackgate and I'm sure we can find… other ways to make it worth your time."
"Sounds great to me," Trezo answered.
"Well, I'm almost off, so how about we swing around the station so I can clock out and we can head to my apartment?" Angie asked, "I live with my brother who's also a huge fan and has really been fanboying out since you 2 met sometime back around launch, so I know he'd love to see you again and I promise to give you a wild time after that."
"Oh, I'm sure you will," Trezo said with a grin and with that, he reached out and pulled Angie close, kissing her. When they parted, she turned with a suggestive grin and led him back out of the factory and to her car.

"And you're sure there's no other answer?" Johnny asked Kendrix. He was in his and Angie's apartment, waiting to see what surprise his sister had for him, when the Pink Galaxy Ranger had called him.
"We all know Trezo would've gotten hold of you or me when he got back," Kendrix pointed out, "Whoever or whatever this impostor is, they're definitely not him so we need to find them to make sure if they're friend or foe."
"All right, I'll text Angie and tell her something came up and her surprise will have to wait, then I'll break out the Jet Jammer out back and come help search for the impostor," Johnny said.
"See you soon and be careful," Kendrix warned, "There's no telling where they'll show up or what they might do."
"Gotcha and ditto," Johnny said. With that, he disconnected and texted Angie before he portaled out.
PRGJ
Unbeknownst to Johnny, not only did she not notice his text, but Angie was also right down the hall when he sent it and came barging in a few minutes later with Trezo, who was kissing her like there was no tomorrow.
"Mm, just a sec," Angie said before turning away, "Johnny?" She frowned as Johnny had said he was home. She took out her phone and was surprised to see his message message.
"Aw, he had to step out," Angie said, "I need to call him really quick to make sure everything's all right, so give me a sec." Trezo nodded as she turned away and called Johnny. "Hey, bro, I must've just missed you."
"Yeah, sorry about that but I realized I left my wallet back in my locker," Johnny apologized, "You'll have to spring whatever your surprise is me another day as I might go get something to eat with Maya after thar."
"Well, I'll at least tell you who it is and I know you'll love it," Angie said, "When I was out doing meter reading duties, Trezo popped up to help me against this real…"
"Wait, Trezo's with you?" Johnny asked.
"Yeah, he's right…"
Trezo had slowly been moving closer to Angie, as he had a feeling the jig was about to be up so before she could finish that sentence, he grabbed her and injected her with a paralytic, causing her to go limp in his hands as it was a special cocktail made to take effect immediately.
After quickly lowering Angie to the ground, Trezo then put the phone up to his ear. "Sis, sis, are you still there?" Johnny asked in a panic.
"She is but she's otherwise… occupied, Red Galaxy Ranger," Trezo replied.
If Angie's eyes could've gone wide at that they would have. 'Johnny's the Red Galaxy Ranger?' she asked herself, unable to make a noise more than a faint moaning as her body refused to work. Thankfully, it was specially made to let her breathe.
All that did was cause Trezo to give Angie a kick to her ribs, which told her that this was an impostor or that probably would've killed her as it'd been a fairly hard kick. "Shut up, you stupid little bitch!" the impostor hissed.
Johnny's eyes went wide. "Whatever you're here for, she has nothing to do with it," he growled, "Let her go or I promise that I'm going to make the last few moments before we shoot a Condor Missile up your ass as agonizing as possible. I'm very well versed in ways to torture enemy combatants and and wouldn't bat an eye to use that against you."
"Yeah, good luck with that," the impostor said before ending the call. He picked up Angie and teleported away.
PRGJ
Maya noticed Johnny stopped just he started to get in his Jet Jammers and was curious when he deactivated his voice changer. "It's Sis so give me a sec," he explained softly. She nodded as he connected the call. It didn't take long for the call to go south and they portaled to his apartment after putting the Jet Jammers away.
When they got there, Johnny activated his watch and started scanning the apartment. It didn't take long for him to find the spot the impostor had teleported from, a planet not too far from Terra Venture's location.
"Johnny, we need to think this through," Maya said, "We need to find the others and get our Galactabeasts ready if the impostor was sent by Scorpi-ass. If we rush into it, someone's bound to get hurt."
"I know, beautiful, but Angie's in trouble, probably because of us or rather because of me and I can't risk not following that jackass now," Johnny replied, "I sent the coordinates to your watch so go find the others and the Galactabeasts and follow me ASAP."
Maya sighed. She knew she wasn't going to win this. "All right, but don't do anything stupid until we get there," she said.
Johnny smiled. Maya and Angie were the only ones that could tell him that and get away with it. "I won't, I promise," he said, "He's bound to have some kind of trap waiting, so I'll just be doing recon until the rest of you can join me."
Maya nodded as Johnny turned the teleportation point into a portal and stepped through. She knew she didn't really have anything to worry about. He had more than enough training in the military that he could handle things until her and the others could join him.
PRGJ
Johnny was a little surprised that he wasn't attacked as soon as he stepped out of the portal and even bigger surprise was that it was in the middle of what looked to be a huge, but obviously abandoned, city.
'I wonder if the League has any info on the civilization here,' Johnny mused as he turned on chameleon mode. At the very least, he knew that Th'm's was either bound to know or could check the GLC database.
Even though he was now invisible and it was obvious no one was around, Johnny figured it was best to stick to the shadows. He searched for a while but couldn't find the impostor or Angie. Suddenly, he heard his sister yelling and ran in that direction.
PRGJ
Angie was horrified as the Trezo impostor began stripping off her clothes. She was starting to get feeling back in her body, but still couldn't move anything or even talk. "Oh my," they said, "Yes, this yummy body of yours will be quite the treat."
'Oh God please, no, not again,' Angie thought.
Angie had been raped in her Senior year of High School by a bunch of the football team. She'd worked past it for the most part in that she was all right having consensual sex but every once in a while, it still came back to haunt her in her dreams.
Just as the Trezo impostor was about to take off the last of her clothes, Angie finally felt that her mouth and larynx was all right and she began screaming her head off. "Shut up, you stupid little slut," the impostor said, slapping her hard enough to make her ears ring. "No one's around to hear you."
"Wanna bet, asshole?" a voice called out.
Before the impostor could turn, Johnny slashed him with first his charged Quasar Saber but also his Transdagger in Magna Talon mode, which sent them flying. "Come to get your dear sister, Red Galaxy Ranger?" they said with a sneer as he squatted down to check on Angie.
"The others will be here shortly," Johnny told Angie, ignoring the impostor. "Are you all right, Sis?"
Angie still couldn't move but was able to say one thing: "Beat his ass."
"Happily," Johnny said before straightening back up and turning towards the Trezo impostor, who backed up as the Red Galaxy Ranger's anger was glaringly obvious by his visor glowing.
"Hold on a moment here, Red Ranger…" the impostor began.
"There is no holding on here even for a second, jackass," Johnny growled, "First you dare pose as Trezo and then you kidnap my sister and bring her here to rape her? Get ready to die, you piece of shit."
With that, Johnny made a lunge at the imposter and if hadn't moved at the last moment, he would've skewered it with his Quasar Saber and it still got a nasty slash across its side as it spun away, falling to the ground. When it got back to its feet, he followed that up with several more strikes from his dual weapons.
Johnny couldn't help but be distracted for a moment when Angie moaned behind him and the Trezo impostor took advantage, blasting him with a huge staff it seemed to pull out of its ass. He hit the wall behind his sister, knocking the wind out of him but as always, he refused to acknowledge the pain with as much as a groan.
Johnny slowly made his way back to his feet, only to see the Trezo impostor. Angie was now free of the paralytic and was back on her feet, rushing over to her brother to help him up as best as she could with still only one good shoulder. "Shit, I'm so sorry, Johnny," she said.
"It's all right, Sis, and sorry you had to find out this way," Johnny replied.
"I've had my suspicions for a while now but yeah, to find out suddenly like this is huge," Angie said, "Thanks by the way. If you hadn't come when you did…" She stopped in mid-sentence.
"It would've happened again," Johnny finished.
Angie's eyes went wide. "You know?" she asked softly. That'd been the one thing she'd always tried her best to avoid, Johnny finding out as she both couldn't bear the thought of him possibly judging her and also knew he'd track down the ones that raped her.
Johnny nodded. "Look, we'll have to talk about this later as I need to open a portal to Shedquarters so I can focus on following that jackass and I don't want have to worry about it getting you again as it's the one place it can't go," he said.
Angie nodded as Johnny opened a portal back to their apartment, which she stepped through. Just as he turned to scan the teleportation spot, the rest of the team portaled in. "Where's Angie?" Maya asked after he explained what had happened.
"Safe at Shedquarters, thank God," Johnny said, "I'm trying to find out where the piece of shit posing as Trezo went. Sorry I didn't go through with my promises but if I hadn't, Angie might not even still be alive."
"You never have to apologize for that," Maya said. Johnny smiled but had to focus on scanning the teleportation point. It didn't take long for him to get coordinates and when he saw it had teleported back to Terra Venture, they quickly portaled away.

Leo felt exhausted as he opened his eyes. Though he'd been in a meditative coma for the better part of a week, his body hadn't been resting, instead working hard to purge itself of the Kryptonite laced pheromones Poison Ivy's clone had hit him with. 'I hope she's alright now,' he thought.
Leo was in a Fortress of Solitude like place on Mercury. Him, Kal, and Kara often came here because being this close to the sun supercharged them more than enough to handle something like this.
Leo looked over the monitor showing his vitals, which showed that the pheromones were indeed purged. "Oh, thank God," he murmured. He also checked for alerts for anything happening on Terra Venture. When he got an unauthorized entry to Shedquarters, he quickly portal shifted away.
PRGJ
The Trezo impostor looked around at the people buzzing around. "Look at these pathetic creatures milling about," he murmured, "I can see why Trezo likes to save them. They're so dependent on him, it's almost tragic."
Suddenly, Furio appeared next to the Impostor. "Quit wasting time, Mutantrum," he warned, "You were ordered to attack Terra Venture in order to make them think Trezo's gone rogue."
"I can't help that the Red Galaxy Ranger found me before I could," Mutantrum pointed out, "Besides, you should talk. How many times have you screwed up?"
Furio growled. "Just get it done before I execute you and find someone else that can!" he exclaimed before teleporting away.
Mutantrum just shook his head before teleporting down to the street. A woman walked up to him. "I've been hoping to see you, Trezo, so I could tell you personally that you're doing an amaz…" she said.
The woman was shocked when the man who seemed to be her hero pushed her down. "Get away from me, you idiot," Mutantrum growled then pulled his staff out and started blasting random objects nearby.
People started panicking as their local hero started destroying everything while the woman just froze in the middle of getting back to her feet. "What are you doing, Trezo?" she asked.
"Let's just say I'm not feeling like myself today," Mutantrum replied as he continued to blast around.
PRGJ
Leo was very surprised when he found Angie and even more so when she tried kicking him as soon as she saw him. "Whoa, what the Hell, Ang?" he demanded, "How'd you get in here? Why are you attacking me?"
That gave Angie pause. "Trezo, is that the real you?" she asked.
"The real me?" Leo asked.
"Tell me something only the real Trezo would know," Angie challenged.
"All right, would the fact we first met at Blackgate Prison during a riot be enough to prove it's me?" Leo asked, "I saved you and you propositioned me to share a cell with you and then a couple of days later when I ran into you on Terra Venture, you asked to come to your apartment for quote 'a wild night'."
Angie couldn't help but grin at the reminder. "Sorry about attacking you," she said then explained what had gone on recently.
"Shit," Leo muttered, "I'm so sorry about what almost happened, Angie."
Angie nodded. "Thanks… Leo," she said. She'd been wondering for years just who Trezo really was outside of being a superhero, even before meeting him at Blackgate, and now that she knew Johnny was the Red Galaxy Ranger, she knew there was only one person he could be.
Leo winced. "Yikes, I guess it's kind of obvious now that you know Johnny's secret, huh?" he asked.
"It does kind of add up, yeah," Angie agreed.
Suddenly, the alarms on the mainframe started going crazy. Leo rushed over to it and sat down, typing away. "Shit," he muttered, "Well, I know where the 'other' me is. If I'm not back shortly to send you back home, Johnny probably will be."
"Go beat his ass," Angie said. Grinning, Leo portal shifted away.
PRGJ
The Galaxy Rangers and Th'm's portaled in just as Mutantrum was threatening an older woman. "Hey, stop right there, asshole," Johnny said.
"Galaxy Rangers, help me!" the woman said, "Trezo's gone mad!"
"I don't know who that is, but it's not Trezo, ma'am," Kendrix said, "He had another emergency back on Earth but has been in contact with us."
"Aw, you don't have to play the good cop here, Pink," Mutantrum said, grinning. "We've got these peons eating out of our hands just as planned and now, it's time to strike."
"Wrong, shithead," a commanding voice said from behind Mutantrum, just as a blur rammed into it and sent it flying. The woman looked up and saw the real Trezo standing over her, extending his hand. "It's all right, ma'am. You're safe now, but you need to flee."
The woman nodded. "I knew it wasn't you, dearie, and thank you," she said before hurrying off.
The Galaxy Rangers and Th'm's huddled around Leo. He gave Kendrix a wink, knowing she would've powered down or at least ripped her helmet off and kissed him senseless if she could and they both hated they couldn't at the moment. "It's good to see you're all right, bro," Johnny said, clapping him on the shoulder.
"I'm glad to be all right, Red, and don't worry about my new guest," Leo said, gently patting Johnny's hand, "I was just in Shedquarters and she's perfectly safe there until we destroy this shithead." Johnny nodded thankfully.
"Well, I guess the jig's up, so I might as well drop the act," Mutantrum admitted as it stumbled to its feet and with a flash, it turned into its monster form, its staff appearing in its hand.
Mutantrum tried blasting Kendrix, but Leo pulled her out of the way and the shot harmlessly struck his chest, causing his suit to ripple as the nanites absorbed it. He chuckled. "Ooh, that tickled," he teased.
Leo then stepped out of the way and the Galaxy Rangers and Th'm's hit Mutantrum with their Star Formation blast from their Transdaggers, which sent the shapeshifter flying. "Ugh, I knew I never should've taken this assignment," he growled as he slowly got back to his feet and pulled out the usual flask of growth potion.
"You guys take that jackass out," Leo told the others, "I'm going to go I'm going to check on you know who in Shedquarters then maybe take her with me to help convince Commander Stanton about what'd happened so he can get ahead of people thinking it was really me."
The Galaxy Rangers and Th'm's all nodded. The Rangers called their Galaxy Megazord while the Green Lantern used a new method he'd started using recently, using his ring to creat large constructs to help the team take out giant monsters. Between the 2, Mutantrum didn't stand a chance.
Meanwhile, Leo portal shifted to first Shedquarters and then the Command Tower, where there were a few minutes where they thought he was the impostor but him and Commander Stanton were on really good terms and had a password just for this possibility which quickly cleared it up.
Trezo agreed to do a TV interview later that day with recordings from him and the Galaxy Rangers proving the other "him" had been a shapeshifting monster as well as a statement from Angie backing it up.
Leo then made a request of Commander Stanton and it was quickly approved that since Angie had such a good rapport with him and his team, she would become a liaison between them and Command and especially the TVPD.
Angie quickly agreed as she found this much more appealing than desk duty and other menial tasks… and the fact that it came with a fairly hefty raise didn't hurt.
PRGJ
A little later that day, Johnny tried approaching Angie at their apartment, but she couldn't help but turn away. "How can you stand to be near me?" she asked, "You must be so disappointed that I couldn't fight them off."
"There's nothing for me to be disappointed on your part as you tried your best, Ang," Johnny said before he wrapped his arms around Angie, "There were 6 of them, odds most people couldn't have hoped to overcome. I just wish you'd tell me who they are."
"What, so you can do that portal thing to go back to Earth, beat the shit out of them if they were lucky, and probably go to prison?" Angie asked, "No way. Let's just say one's dead and the rest are having shitty lives thanks to karma. Look, please don't tell anyone, not even Maya."
"Hey, it's me," Johnny said, "Unless you tell me otherwise, I'll take this to the grave." Angie nodded. "But you do need to talk to someone. You don't want to keep this bottled up inside you, trust me."
"You mean, like a therapist?" Angie asked. Johnny nodded. "I can't or at least not right now. I hate anyone finding out about those bastards, not even you. Maybe one day I can go to one and finally put that behind me, but not now."
Johnny sighed. 'And people call me the stubborn one of the 2 of us,' he mused. "All right, I won't push the issue but if it helps, you know you can always talk to me and I'll never judge you," he promised.
"There was never any doubt," Angie said with a smile.

A few days later…
"Thank you for coming, Trezo especially on such short notice," Commander Stanton stated, shaking Leo's hand shortly after he portal shifted directly to his office. Angie was also there and they exchange Hellos.
"It's not a problem, sir." Leo said, "How can I help? Ms. Marshak said it was important." He couldn't help but chuckle when Angie made a sour face at him calling her that, but knew they had to keep it formal, especially now that she knew the team's secret identities.
Commander Stanton nodded to Angie. "We've received word that a film crew wants to come film some scenes here on Terra Venture," she explained, "We request that you to bring them here and for yours and Green Lanterns help in constructing the sets. Where is he, by the way?"
"He had to make a run to Oa to report in," Leo replied, "I can't speak for Green Lantern but I will be happy to help out however I can and I'm sure the Galaxy Rangers would like to help provide Security if you'd like, just in case Scorpius attacks or something else that's bad comes up."
"We would appreciate that greatly, thank you," Commander Stanton said with a nod and grin.
"Just tell me when and where you need me and please have the spatial and planetary coordinates ready and you've got yourself a deal then," Leo said. Commander Stanton and Angie nodded and after shaking hands to seal the deal, he portal shifted away.
To be contondered…
Note: Sorry if this seemed a little too exposition heavy for a relatively minor character but I needed to start getting it out of the way as a lead into a few other stories from this series, including one that takes place in an alternate version of everything after hers and Leo's dodged one night stand in Chapter 2.
For now, let's just say there's more to the story than even what's already here, with some more coming with the story mentioned above as well as an upcoming one here in the main series. Oh and if you get the reference in what I put instead of To be continued, awesome. Anyway, until next time, as always, Catch ya on the flipside.
