Season 3: Episode 10

Brian instantly tried to move to place Beth behind him but it was pointless since they were effectively surrounded as the large group of men who were holding the flashlights closed in, revealing they were all holding guns too. One of them, a tall, broad shouldered muscular man with fair skin, greying dark brown hair with a black handlebar moustache and brown eyes, sneered.

"Awww, adorable, protecting your girl." He then spat on the ground. "Makes me sick, get 'em over here."

Before either of them could react, they were grabbed by some of the men who dragged them away from the lake and out of the semi-circle of logs and into what was pretty much a clearing where they were forced to their knees.

The man who had spoken shook his head. "Fucking horny little rabbits, huh."

Beth flushed hearing that. 'He, they...they saw us…'

Brian was also in shock, unable to believe it, these men had saw them, possibly even watching the whole time when they made love. The humiliation of that was soon overshadowed by fear however as the men held them at gunpoint while the first man stalked in front of them.

"So, where are the rest of your little group, off fucking too?" He snapped at them.

Neither of them answered which unfortunately made him angry.

"Well, where the fuck are they?!"

"They've clearly left, Simon." One of the others said, shaking his head.

Simon turned on him. "Bullshit, Dwight. These fuckers are spies, they-"

"Oh spare me, they're teenagers, it's summer vacation." the one called Dwight remarked with a shake of his head.

The one called Simon scowled at his compatriot which made Brian and Beth nervous.

It got worse for them then, for Simon had turned his back to them at this point, which showed a symbol on his jacket, one which identified him as being one of the Saviours. Brian and Beth shared a terrified look having recalled the warning Carl had given them, from what he had heard from his dad. The very people who had taken the Morales family hostage.

"So, you don't find it odd that these fuckers show up after we get that traitor and his fucking family. They just happen to show up in one of our prime business spots?" Simon challenged. "How can you have been with us so long and still be so fucking naive."

Dwight shook his head. "Look, I'm simply applying logic here, you think we have the run of this place. It's a typical teenage hangout spot for summer vacation, it's a no brainer. Is any of this getting through, you paranoid fuck."

Simon approached Dwight threateningly. "Oh you-"

Just then a scuffling noise got their attention and they turned sharply. Brian and Beth gasped and they were about to try and move, only to freeze in horror. For more of the Saviours had arrived and were dragging with them four people, four very family people. Jamie, Carl, Marissa and Andrew.

"Caught these brats walking over here, to this very spot." The one dragging Marissa remarked.

"Get off me." She cried, struggling.

Andrew growled. "Leave her alone."

But they were ignored, the only thing which gave them some relief from the fear was, despite the manhandling of his girlfriend, Andrew noticed there was nothing lustful or sexual in how Marissa was being held. The same could be said of Beth.

In fact, the only one that showed anything resembling sexual interest in either girl was Simon, but he hadn't touched either of them. Soon the other four were forced to their knees next to Beth and Brian.

"What the hell…?" Jamie grimaced.

Carl glared up at them. "You, you can't-"

"Oh, what have we here?" Simon cut him off. "Look at you, acting all tough, that look on your face, you think you can order me around, is that it, kid?"

There was a brief pause before Simon bust out laughing and then looked around.

"That's not all of the fucking spying brats, some of you go find the others, they're out there somewhere." He snapped.

Some hurried off before Dwight could even speak.

He rolled his eyes. "Honestly Simon, waste of time. I told you, they're teenagers just having some fucking party for summer vacation."

"Then how do you explain these four coming back?" Simon snapped.

"Why don't you try asking them?" Dwight challenged.

Simon scowled while Dwight turned to the captive group, all of them kneeling on the ground, held at gunpoint, anxious and fearful.

"Well?"

It was Jamie who answered, his voice shaky. "We were coming back for them...we thought it was odd that they hadn't come to join us at the after party."

As he said that he nodded to Brian and Beth.

Dwight nodded. "See."

Simon just scoffed.

He made sure that the men who had hurried off were truly gone and doing their jobs before rounding on Dwight, while the others continued to hold the six at gunpoint.

"You really believe that crap."

Dwight sighed and then glanced off to his left. "Why don't we let someone with authority decide that."

Simon snarled. "I think you'll find I'm-"

"Someone who does as he's told, right Simon?" A voice drawled, from the direction Dwight had glanced.

Simon glared at Dwight, although he paled notably before he turned to face the speaker who stepped up and began walking in front of the captives. The man was tall too, broad shouldered with tanned skin, short black greying hair with a scruffy beard and moustache, brown eyes and wearing a notable leather jacket and carrying, of all things, a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire.

"Well hello there, kiddos…" He remarked casually, before smirking. "Here's Negan."

It was clear, even without him saying anything, he was the obvious leader of these monstrous people, the leader of the Saviours.

"Well Simon, I can safely agree with Dwight, these boys and girls are just stupid teens who are too hormonal for their own good." Negan explained with a laugh. "But unfortunately for them...I'm gonna have to see that they're dealt with. After all, you idiots blurted out far too much."

The others froze in horror, none were more terrified than the captives, realizing what they were in for. They were going to be murdered. Indeed, Negan was already hefting the bat and was pacing in front of the teens.

"So, who's first for a date with Lucille?" He asked casually.

Before he could make a choice, they were interrupted by a gunshot.

At once everyone was distracted by the sound. That was when the only reaction that made sense to Carl happened.

"Run!"

"Hey!" Simon yelled.

But to the great relief of the prisoners, they got free and ran into the trees, unfortunately it was now after nightfall, meaning it was easy to get lost. However to their relief they could still, just about, make each other out as they ran, but they ended up separated, sensing the danger they took action however and so Andrew and Jamie found themselves ducking down under a bush by another clearing, only just able to make out Marissa not too far away. They couldn't only hope Carl, Beth and Brian were safe as the Saviours, or at least some of them, led by Simon, entered the clearing, looking around darkly for them.
