Chapter 2
Harden went to comfort Lucius as he cried. "Why me? I didn't want this! Why?" he screamed. "I didn't ask for this, Mom! Please, make the pain in my chest go away!" He was hyperventilating while crying.
Harden held his son. "Take deep breaths, Lucius. It's okay, Momma has you. I promise." He took deep breaths, and Lucius followed his mother's breathing, holding him tightly. "Momma, I'm so scared. Don't let go."
Lucius fell asleep on his mom when Abraxas walked in, looking concerned. "What's going on? Is he okay?" he asked, touching his son's shoulder and rubbing it lightly.
Lucius blinked. "Dad?" he said, reaching for him. Abraxas held his son.
Harden said, "He had a panic attack and is just tired. He is so scared of what is going to happen next."
Abraxas sighed. "My love, Severus is going to give up his custody rights. We need to find out if Lucius wants the baby. He can abort if he wants to. If not, we will support him through the pregnancy."
Lucius woke up. "I'm keeping it. Don't make me get rid of it, please," he pleaded. "I love my baby."
Harden said, "Baby, no one is going to make you do anything. We support you, Lucius."
Abraxas added, "Son, it's okay. How are you feeling? Your mom said you had a panic attack. It's been so long since your last one".
Lucius frowned. "I've been having them since Sev and I started… what we were, which was a couple. Or so I thought." He frowned again. "Mama, what does abuse feel like?"
Harden frowned. "Baby, what has happened?"
Lucius replied, "He puts me down, makes me do things I don't want to do, calls me names, and just makes me feel like crap about myself. He rubs everything in my face."
Harden frowned. "That's abuse, baby."
Lucius frowned back. "I wanted it, though. He didn't push that on me. I casted the charms, he didn't. I don't want him around me or my babe. I'm scared, but I want to be strong. Can you help".
Harden said, "Baby, Mama will always be here. We need to get you a healer who specializes in pregnancy."
Abraxas replied, "I already did that. I got the best of the best. They will be here tomorrow."
"Lucius, thank you. I want to sleep. Can I sleep with you, Mama? I know I'm not a child, but I need you, Mama."
"Always, baby."
