Love never ceases
AN : Hello lovelies I was inspired by something stupid song to write this I just thought it would be so cute if Mirabel and Miguel sung it together.
Miguel was in the plaza with his love he wouldn't trade this in for the world and much like everything else they do this was one of the beautiful things in his life. He started plucking some notes out to a song Mirabel knew well so as he played she sung.
"I know I stand in line until you think you have a time to spend an evening with me
And if we go someplace to dance I know that there's a chance you won't be leaving with me
And then afterwards we drop into a quiet little place and share a kiss or two
And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like I love you".
Andres and the rest were watching as the two sung there hearts out and it seemed as though Miguel had not only found his best friend but someone to share the rest of his life with and he was happy for the both of them.
"Would you look at them". Fernando whispered to him
"I know they are soulmates". He replied
"Do you think he's ever gonna give up?" Andres asked
"No Never I think he's found the one". Fernando replies
Just then Jose came over and looked at the two lovebirds having the same goofy smile on his face, knowing that this was not got given up by Miguel he smiled.
"I'm with you". Jose said
"Right? They are so meant to be". Andres joined
"A seamstress and a musician who thought this could be?" Fernando questioned
"Goodness knows we didn't ". He smiled
"You've got that right". Andres chuckled
" I can see it in your eyes that you despise the same old lies you heard the night before, and although it's just A line to you for me it's true and it never seemed so right before
I practice every day to find some sweet lines to say to make the meaning come through
And then I think I'll wait until the evening gets late and I'm alone with you".
As the couple sung people began to stop in their tracks to watch the two sing but they didn't have a care in the world. As they looked into each other's eyes singing to their hearts content, Mirabel never knew until she met Miguel she could ever find someone so caring and kind. She thought that she would never find someone who understood her in a way where she felt seen and heard she thanked god everyday for having a best friend and partner that was as wonderful and loving as he was.
Meanwhile Miguel on the hand was thankful to have met her in that theatre he not only found a best friend and partner but also to have someone finally understand what it is like to be different from your family and feel like you don't belong. But with Mira it was so easy every time they touched, every time they danced it was something special He thanked god everyday to have found someone like her.
He could look into those eyes of hers and just know that was where he wanted to be for the rest of his life Always and forever ; one day she was going to be his wife (of course she didn't know yet) but one day she will.
"Would you look at that". Whispered Natalia the town seamstress
"I know it's like he can't take his eyes off of her". Lina scoffs jealous
"Looks like nethier can she". Manuel added
"I wish someone could look at me the way Miguel looks at Mira ". Lina sighed
"Oh girl don't we all". Ruben joined
"Don't worry good things come to those who wait". Natalia said sighing
"Yeah right". Lina replies rolling her eyes
"How come she gets to have all the fun, she found a musician for heaven sake and to top that off she found Miguel of all people?"she sighed
"Don't worry hermana, the universe shall provide one of these days". Ruben reassures
" The time is right your perfume feels my head my stars get read and oh the nights so blue and then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like I love you, I love you I love you".
They both smiled as they finished the last bit of the song together dazed in love .
" I love you, I love you ".
When he strummed the final note he didn't take his eyes off her as they finished Socorro smiled at the two of them knowing that he brother really was in love with Mirabel.
The whole plaza erupted In cheers and applause and it took the two lovebirds a second before they noticed that pepole had just watched.
Miguel smiled and chuckled nervously along with Mirabel and waved a thank you as they went off the steps, Socorro smiled at the both of them proud and goofy.
"That was amazing ". Socorro smiled
"Well I'm glad you liked it". Mirabel replies
"And apparently so did everyone else". He whispered to his love
"Hey when we get home dibs on Mira's tres leches ." She called
"Oh man". Miguel pouted
" I will tell you what you race Migue home, you get to sit next to me to and then practice dancing okay?" Mirabel asked
"Si, okay deal come on last one homes a rotten egg". She shouted
" You know you did that just to let her win right?" Miguel sighed
"Oh please , She is faster then you and she's just a little girl ". Mirabel sighed
" She's also my sister". Miguel smiled
"Oh right then, but better catch up before she beats you to it". Mirabel reminded
So with that Miguel pecked he on the cheek and ran so fast to catch up with his sister, Mirabel soon ran with them back to the hacienda smiling and laughing.
