POV: Victor

Combat training made work really tiring but it was also helpful. Especially for me...

Weekly Quests:

Complete the combat training at work.

Rewards: 200 EXP per hour of training.

Failure: Nonee

_

Completing that quest was easy, but we only had combat training on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for one hour each day, so I only earned 600 experience points a week.

Today was Friday, so we had combat classes as usual, and it was incredibly tiring.

"I feel like the instructor only made us exercise harder because we would have a short break from work," I growled to myself while stretching.

It wasn't time to read yet. Today I would start my hardest project yet, and I would only go to America if I was able to complete it.

Even though my gamer system may be weaker than the manhwa one, it was also more versatile and could allow one to focus on one side of things.

By becoming a mechanic, I had chosen to focus on the technological side of the system, and it came with a few disadvantages, but the biggest advantage was this...

_

Advanced technology design (lvl 4)

The best scientists, engineers, and mechanics are those who can create new and innovative technologies. The process of creating technology is incredibly hard and time-consuming, but as The Gamer, this process can be skipped with just the press of a button.

Of course, nothing in this world is free, and with the sacrifice of EXP or Game Points, one can design anything that they can possibly imagine.

-Creates a blueprint based on the amount of EXP/Game points used. The only limitation is imagination and the EXP/Game points used. (The amount of Exp/Game Points used determines the level of blueprint produced.)

-Level/2 % chance of a rare blueprint being produced.

Cooldown time: 30 days.

_

Of course, there were other advantages like the process of learning knowledge related to technology was easier. It's the reason I had learned all 16 types of engineering and got the general engineering skill even though I had only finished high school 2 years ago.

Even Shuri hadn't done so, which is why I had hidden most of my capabilities, making people think she was a monster while I was a unique genius.

'When in actuality, it's the other way around.'

Anyway, this skill was still the biggest advantage this type of system had given me, and even though it had a one-month cooldown time, it was still overpowered.

'It's also the reason I'm still at level 21.' My heart ached every time I thought of the amount of EXP I had used to create the blueprint for the microchips in the nanobots.

Creating the nanobots was easy, but my computing skill, which was the general skill of all computer-related skills, just wasn't high-level enough for me to come up with a hive-mind microchip that I wanted for the nanobots. So I had to use EXP, and I had gone down a whole level at that time.

I hadn't used any of my points yet, but I knew a considerable amount of EXP was needed for any advanced blueprint.

'And the blueprint I need will probably need even more EXP.' I could even feel tears start to build up in my eyes. 'I'm probably even going to lose a level. Hopefully, I get a rare blueprint or something.'

POV CHANGE

Her brother's answer was exactly as she thought it would be. He was overly worried about her safety and said he'd only allow her to leave the country if he could guarantee her safety.

'Meaning I'll only leave if I'm babysat.'

It removed the purpose of her wanting to go to America — being alone with Vic. Plus, it would be nice to not be so restricted for once.

Being the princess of Wakanda obviously had its advantages, but it also removed the freedom almost all teenagers longed for.

Shuri understood, though. Wakanda had too many enemies. It was too dangerous for her to leave without any protection.

The secrets Wakanda had were too many, and many wanted its resources and knowledge. Even Victor would be monitored since every researcher was taught important knowledge that could cause disaster if it fell into the wrong hands.

She was far too important since she could be kidnapped and used as a bargaining tool, or worse, she could be killed.

'I guess I'll be spending Christmas with my family again.' She didn't think it was a bad thing, but it would have been nice for a change for once.

It did make her wonder why Victor had suddenly wanted to go all the way to America; his flight had even shown that he would be going to New York.

'Could it possibly be related to the attack earlier this year? Or maybe he's just going there for a vacation.' It was hard to tell with him; he always seemed to have his own agenda, and he seemed to know more than what he was letting on.

Plus, his house had a lab that wasn't accessible even to her. She hadn't told anyone else since they hadn't noticed. She at least trusted Vic enough not to endanger Wakanda. And she trusted Wakanda enough not to be endangered by one person. She was still curious though.

What was he hiding? He knew she and the main researcher had access and checked every researcher's private labs, whether it was at the main lab or at their homes, so maybe he knew she was probably the only one to notice that he was hiding a lab at his house. What was he thinking? Did he trust her that much, or did he just underestimate her capabilities?

His idea to create the 'time chamber' also showed that he had high ambitions. It had taken a lot of work from her to figure out how to even start with that. She had started by thinking of the only two things that could prove time was not a constant — the speed of light and a black hole.

Which meant a large amount of gravity or velocity, both being impossible without an infinite amount of energy. Wormholes could also help with her research, but Wakandans didn't go to space, even with the advanced technology that could allow them to.

'Plus they wouldn't allow me to do that anyway.' Again she was a bit too restricted even though it seemed like she had a lot of freedom.

She sighed thinking about how Victor had thought of the use of the quantum realm, something even she had only heard rumors of. He claimed to have proof of its existence and only needed time.

When she had delved deeper into the research of the quantum realm, she had seen how it was real with the proof being Hank Pym and Dr. Bill Foster's project G.O.L.L.I.A.T.H, which was the test of what was known as the ant-man suit. This had led her to find out about the Soviet ICBM incident where The Wasp, Janet Van Dyne, disappeared after shrinking down till she died or she had accessed and was lost in what was believed to be the quantum realm.

She then tried creating the shrinking technology herself, but she had failed. Hank Pym's technology was a success due to what she could only reason to be luck.

She had tried other ways of accessing the quantum realm, but they were either too dangerous or just impossible – another failure. Was the time chamber project even possible, or were her recent failures proof that she wasn't as smart as she thought?

She wondered what Victor was going to do since he seemed to want to finish the project without her help, even if he made it seem like he had given up, she knew better. He was hard to read, but his determination could easily be seen most of the time.

Which went back to the question of what the ambitions of such a determined person were?

POV: Victor

There was a lack of windows in my lab. It was part of the requirements for it to be well-hidden, so I hadn't noticed the sun rising, which signified the day that I would be leaving.

What I did notice was the notification of Tony Stark's house being blown up late last night or at noon in Malibu because of the time zone difference.

Anyway, even without the natural light, the room seemed to brighten up because of the beautiful piece of machinery in front of me.

Kinetic Combat Biosuit 1.0 (Rare)

An advanced bioengineered combat suit created from vibranium muscle fiber and adamantium alloy.

Its thin design allows it to be flexible while the use of vibranium enhances the user's physical attributes to the limit.

Increases strength and agility by 1 per 5,000 J of energy used/m.

Solar-powered main battery with more than 100,000 J of energy. Recharges 10,000 J/m.

Second Semi battery that can absorb and convert up to 50,000 J of any kind of energy or vibration.

_

A masterpiece. The best part was that it looked like a stylish but tight jumpsuit,

Even though I hadn't created the blueprint myself, I was still proud of what I had created.

At its basic capabilities, it could increase my strength and agility by 2, which wasn't much. But the great thing about this suit was that the more energy I used, the more powerful I would become.

Its full capabilities would increase both my strength and agility by a full 30 points. Of course, that can only last for an instant.

But that's where things get even crazier. Although the energy used to increase my stats by 30 wouldn't be enough to last more than a second, that only depended on the situation.

You see, this suit used the special characteristic of vibranium effectively. Probably more effectively than what Shuri did to T'Challa's black panther suit. This suit used vibranium's absorption capabilities and converted any energy it absorbed into energy that the suit would use to enhance the user's capabilities.

Basically, if it was during a fight with a person with enough force to constantly charge the suit, then my strength and agility could possibly be increased by the max 30 points and last long enough.

But if the force exerted was more than the limit of the suit, then the suit would instantly be vaporized while the recoil could possibly kill me, so I had to be careful.

Either way, it was great.

'I was definitely lucky to get a rare blueprint.' I thought while looking at the blueprint that explained all the capabilities and how to create the suit.

I looked at the time: 6:24. My flight was at 3 pm, and for some reason, I would have to meet with the future King before I left.

'I just hope everything goes as planned.'
