Date: 23rd December 2012

Location: Congo

The scenery outside was a blurred green and brown. The ground streamed by as the helicopter flew past.

The volume of the rotor blades spinning seemed to muffle even the sound of my thoughts. Thoughts of my past and future. Of my family and... the universe. I wondered a lot about how I got here. A sigh unintentionally left my mouth as I forcefully dismissed my questions, which seemed to pile up recently.

A notification on my phonee then attracted my attention as I looked at blue and red dots on a map signifying the locations of two individuals. One was me, and the other was Ulysses.

There was a tad bit of hesitation in my heart when thinking about what I was about to do. The risks were high, but the rewards would... hopefully be worth it.

A lot of planning was done to get to this stage. I had to hack into the phone of one of Ulysses Klaw's informants, meaning I had to find his informants first and then send a message that was encrypted in the same way that his informants did. After that, I just had to use the information they already knew about Wakanda, me, Shuri, and the other researchers.

Of course, Shuri and I were known even to his informants, so I just had to use that information against Klaw. Imagine his expression when he finds out his whole plan to kidnap me was just my plan to find him.

'I kinda feel bad for him.'

It didn't take long for the helicopter to land on a building in the capital city of Congo, Kinshasa. This building was secretly owned by Wakanda.

A lot of important people in Wakanda had to leave the country in this manner if they were to leave in secret, so a building was already bought to accommodate the helicopter that most would use. In my opinion, it was a flex of some kind. I mean, who buys a building to land a helicopter?

Of course, for more important missions, Wakanda would use our own private planes/jets, which were better than any out there, especially since they could cloak themselves.

Anyway, the most important thing about this building is that the informant who 'told' Klaw about me lives here. Antoine Banza, a Wakandan spy who lives in Congo. For some reason, he betrayed Wakanda and became an informant of Ulysses Klaw. It's one of the reasons Klaw trusted his information; he worked here, so him getting the information wasn't far-fetched. The issue is dealing with him in case Ulysses finds out the truth from him.

After exiting the helicopter, we went to the elevator and went from the rooftop to the 6th floor, the highest floor there.

I was followed by 3 people. 2 of them were guards who had to protect me and watch me so I don't do anything against Wakanda law while on my holiday. This was because as a scientist, I knew way too much about Wakanda and its technology. If I was captured, too much information could be given to the outside world. The other was the pilot who would be leaving after a night of rest.

We would be staying on the 6th floor reserved for us, so my departure is a guaranteed secret. This would be till 2 pm, then I would have to go to the airport to catch my flight. My guards would be following me the whole way, which would make it hard for me to do everything that I wanted to do in America.

'But that's where Ulysses Klaw comes into the equation.'

It's simple. If I get kidnapped, then how would it be possible for my guards to watch me? Of course, I'm not going to expose Wakanda, but I need that type of freedom if I want to operate more in the MCU.

"There's a lot I would have to do in America, and this..." I quietly muttered while looking at the small box that I was still unable to open. "First, I'd have to send Klaw a message though."

I took off my casual clothing, leaving only the bio-suit underneath. The black suit looked as if it was made of a tight silk-like material. On my waist, I put a few devices and objects that I had made for this exact situation.

With a press of a button located on the soft chest plate, the suit extended onto half my face, making it look similar to a ninja mask covering my mouth and nose.

'I kinda look like a geek, to be honest.' I thought to myself after looking in the mirror. With the ninja mask and the shining vibranium suit... I looked a little weird.

The suit did highlight my slightly muscular body, though. It adjusted to my body perfectly, so it fit me like a glove. My afro and dark skin didn't help the outfit look any better.

The ninja-like look was so that the suit could be commanded through voice commands, though, so I wouldn't change it for a more stylish but useless look.

"Turn on Basic Capability," I said softly.

The whole suit glowed a little, then my body suddenly felt lighter. I had set the suit to allow it to have a voice-enabled setting, which changed the amount of energy it used, which in turn increased or decreased the amount of power it boosted me with. These settings were as follows:

_

Basic Mode:

2 Agility and Strength

Lasts Indefinitely

Basic Boost Mode:

5 Agility and Strength

Only lasts 6 minutes

Advanced Boost Mode:

10 Agility and Strength

Only lasts 2 minutes

Critical Boost Mode:

20 Agility and Strength

Only lasts around 20 seconds.

_

Of course, I could be more specific, but this made it easier so I would know how long I had with a certain boost/mode.

After my body felt a little more powerful, I sneaked out through the window of my room. I couldn't leave through the door since my guards would probably be watching me. Of course, they were watching my room with remote cameras, but anyone watching would only see me on my laptop patiently waiting for my flight. Learning how to hack had its perks.

"Hey, did you hear, Antoine?" A female with dark brown hair said to him as they sat at the reception.

It was a normal day like any other, and he didn't know what she was on about, so he was a little curious. At least today he wouldn't ignore the usually annoying woman.

"I heard this one important guy will be arriving here today." For a second, Antoine's eyes widened ever so slightly, but then he quickly fixed his expression, hoping that Sindy wouldn't notice. Obvious of the obvious, she continued.

"What? Really?" He said with his brow slightly raised without looking in her direction. Clearly an uninterested tone.

"Yeah, I heard he's an important person, although I don't know who it could be. It's interesting, isn't it?" She asked, trying to be enthusiastic as she had been interested in him for years. Something he had obviously noticed.

"Yeah, sooo interesting." He answered sarcastically. "Now, please excuse me as I need to use the restroom." He then stood up and headed to the toilet.

He could hear her mutter something as he was walking away, but he didn't care much.

He had to inform Ulysses Klaw, and he didn't have time to talk to the foolish Wakanda fanatic of a woman.

As he entered the restroom and was about to take out his cell phone, a loud bang sounded out, and his vision suddenly faded.

It happened so fast that he only felt a small pain at the back of his head, and everything went blank from there.

*POV Change*

I stood above the unconscious body with a smile on my face. Not because I had taken out a spy or anything like that. My smile was because my plan was going perfectly, and on top of that, I knew that Klaw would be here in a few minutes.

Boom!

The sounds of explosions and bullets breaking through windows echoed throughout the building. He'd arrived sooner than expected, but that wasn't much of a problem.

In that instant, I realized how much chaos my plan had ensued. With the unconscious Anthony still laying there, I ran to the window and left the bathroom.

My boots stuck to the walls of the hotel as I ran up them using the same method I had used to reach the first floor.

This was possible because of boots I had made while working with Shuri. One of the many inventions we had created together.

Quickly, I reached the top with gunshots coming mainly from the other side of the hotel, as it was the busier side. It only took seconds for me to reach the top with my speed already surpassing peak human capabilities with the suit's help.

As I got to the roof, the sound of bullets was more audible, so I ducked down and started crawling. I reached the other side after a minute or so of crawling. With the lack of binoculars or anything of sorts, I couldn't see the exact location of each shooter, but it was obvious as to what building they were in. Of course, there were others inside the hotel itself. I had two options.

One would be me trying to stop the snipers, or two, the tens of shooters inside the building. I do have a small pistol that could extend into a sniper with me and even a few vibranium bullets. Both created by myself.

The other would be to take out the snipers first since they could be an issue.

I should be cautious going against Ulysses Klaw since he should have come with some vibranium bullets himself, although he shouldn't have many.

'Well, he doesn't have MY vibranium bullets, so it shouldn't matter much. So what's stopping me from taking out both?

Boom!

As I contemplated my next move, another loud explosion sounded out, and I wondered what I should be doing. I sighed as I quickly crawled to the elevator. The fear of being shot was higher than I thought it would be.

'This is going to be a little harder than I thought.'

*Line break*

Ulysses couldn't help but smirk as he watched his man sweep through the first two floors of the hotel. The plan was going smoothly as expected.

More Wakandan soldiers tried stopping them as they stepped through the door, but a few vibranium bullets later, and they were all on the floor.

"These fools fall easiest to their own weapons." One of the mercenaries Ulysses Klaw had hired said with a large, menacing smirk on his face.

Boom!

Suddenly, an explosion occurred as they reached the third floor. A gas spread in the hallway and clouded their vision.

"Argh." A silent pistol sounded, followed by a loud grunt from the mercenary who had just spoken.

"You're right, they die really easy with their own weapons. The only difference is..." A figure slowly approached, becoming a little more visible but still hazy thanks to the gas. "The person using the weapon."

So yeah, it's been a while, hasn't it? I'd like to apologize for taking too long; I've been pretty busy, and I had honestly given up on the fic.

Now I'll try to update it as soon as possible, but I've given up on a regular update schedule because it's too much pressure for no reason.

Anyway, thanks for reading. The support is appreciated.
