Life continued at Luna Nova for Diana and Akko. The trouble was the dark power that was creating the monsters to begin with. Even Diana had zero clues on what was causing dark magic to appear out of nowhere and they were no closer to figuring this out then they were before. However one thing was clear and that was that these monsters couldn't be allowed to roam around and cause destruction. As Luna Nova's protectors, Akko and Diana used their full power to protect both the school and the people.

Both Cures were just going about their regular day when a group of shadow wyverns attacked. The witches were doing their best to fight them off but there were so many of them. Everyone made the decision to evacuate inside the school where the wyverns would hopefully not enter and hurt them. Everyone made it inside except for Akko and Diana and they knew exactly that it was precure time.

"Precure magical change"

The two of them then changed into their precure forms.

"A Shining light that shines brightly through the darkness in this magical world, Cure Shiny"

"Nature that continues to grow and exist in this magical world, Cure Nature"

"We are the magical precure!"

The wyverns seemed to have noticed them and started to attack them but the cures were stronger and started to take them out one by one but the amount of wyverns that were around was ridiculous.

Hannah was almost the last one in when a wyvern appeared before her and she screamed.

Barbara saw her best friend being confronted by a wyvern and was about to step up but froze when it looked at her. Hannah saw her friend froze and wondered why she was just standing there and not helping her when she needed her the most. The wyvern then grabbed her and started to fly away.

"AGGHHHHH! HELP ME! PRECURE!" Hannah shouted

Shiny and Nature looked up and saw that a wyvern was carrying her away and gasped. They started to run towards the wyvern that was carrying her but they were stopped more of them and started to attack them with fire attacks and they were forced to deal with them and because they got slowed down, the wyvern that was carrying Hannah got away and carried her to a mountain.

Headmistress Holbrooke was now talking to the precure and thanked them for protecting them from the wyverns.

"I would like to thank you both for protecting us from those wyverns but it looks like one of them made off with one of our students" Holbrooke said

"It's my fault. I was about to jump in and help but when that wyvern looked at me I just froze" Barbara said

"Don't worry, we'll rescue her! Right Nature?" Shiny asked

"Absolutely" Nature said

"It looks like those things came from the mountain north from here" Mistress Holbrooke said

"Don't worry we'll save her" Shiny said

"We'll be back" Nature said

Both cures then left for the mountain. As they were scaling the mountain a fireball hit them and knocked them back but they managed to regain their balance and saw wyverns waiting for them and attacked them.

"An ambush?" Shiny asked

"Looks like they were expecting us" Nature said

Shiny and Nature had to fight through a literal army of wyverns. There were possibly hundreds or thousands of them. Meanwhile Hannah was trapped inside of a cage. She was very scared and was afraid these monsters were going to eat her or do something even worse. She looked up and saw that there was a wyvern that a lot bigger than the normal ones and made the guess that this one was the leader of all of them.

Hannah was still thinking back to the time where Barbara had to opportunity to help her but she didn't and that made her feel like that her friend had betrayed her. Perhaps this was karma for her because she was such a bully and Barbara was no better than she was.

Suddenly a wyvern flew in and hit the wall. Hannah was surprised to see this happen because it was so unexpected and saw that the precure were there. Hannah couldn't believe it. The precure had actually came for her. They came here to rescue her.

The Wyvern leader roared and flew up dived towards them. They were hit and flew until their backs hit against the cave wall.

Hannah gasped because her saviors got hit first. She then noticed that they were getting up slowly. This was strange to her because they were usually a lot better than this. She started to think for a moment and remembered that they did just fight off a bunch of them on campus and then they were probably fighting even more of them on the journey up here. After all that they were probably exhausted.

The wyvern breathed fire at them but they put up a shield in time to block it with their shields and struggled to keep it up. They managed to block it until it died down. The wyvern dived down towards them again but this time they jumped and stomped down on its back forcing it down to the ground but it soon threw them off with a big push. Shiny managed to get up and first and looked behind her and saw that Hannah was watching them with fear in her eyes.

Nature saw that Shiny jumped towards Hannah and kicked the the door to her cage and it broke. setting Hannah free.

"Are you okay?" Shiny asked

"Y-yeah thank you" Hannah said with a stutter

"Good, now escape while you still can" Shiny said

"W-what?! B-but what about you two?" Hannah asked

Hannah doesn't know why she was hesitating to leave them behind. They were precure after all and they were strong after all.

"Don't worry about us, just go while you still can" Shiny said before jumping away.

The auburn hair girl just watched as the cures fought the monster. It managed to hit them with its tail and they hit the wall. It dived towards them but they managed to grab its wings to stop it from hitting them again.

"We won't let you hurt the people of Luna Nova!" Shiny grunted

"We will protect them!" Nature grunted

Hannah could tell that they were exhausted but they still refused to give up. It made Hannah feel ashamed that she was pretty much a scared little girl in front of these warriors that protect the witches of the academy.

"I-I want to be stronger too. B-but how?" Hannah asked herself

She then started to reflect upon everything she had done until she was kidnapped by these things. The only thing she had remembered being was a bully and that's why she felt this way ever since the precure showed up. Cure Shiny in particular was a believer of magic that come from the heart.

"Precure, they came all the way here to save me even though I'm a horrible person. I-I want to change. I want to protect everything that's dear to me" Hannah said

Hannah then heard a voice in her head and it was telling to say some sort of incantation. She wasn't sure why but she did it because she felt like she could trust it and said the phrase while holding a compact in her hand.

"Precure magical change"

Hannah's normal auburn hair was taken down from its ponytail. Her hair got longer and was put into low pigtails with several rubber bands on each pigtail. Her hair color changed from auburn to bright orange. A green headband appeared on her head with a flame symbol on it. She had flame earrings and orange lipstick. She was now wearing a orange top with short sleeves with the edges of the sleeves being orange. On the bottom was a white skirt with orange colored at the edge. She wore white and green boots with green laces. Like her fellow cures her midriff was exposed. She wore short white gloves with orange flame symbols on them. She wore an orange choker with a red flame symbol on it.

Hannah then started to make an introduction before she could comprehend what had just happened to her.

"A flame that glows brightly to burn away the darkness in this magical world, Cure Blaze!"

Hannah looked at herself in awe as she had just transformed herself. Shiny and Nature were just as baffled because they weren't expecting Hannah of all people to become a precure.

The Wyvern started to push both Shiny and Nature back slightly because they were still tired from the army of Wyverns from earlier. Blaze didn't have an issue like that at all. She was fresh and ready to go. Blaze jumped and landed a kick straight on the wyvern's face, sending it flying back towards the cave wall.

The wyvern attacked with fire and Blaze managed to counter with her own attack.

"Precure: Blazing Inferno!

A twister of fire came out of her hands and it went towards the wyvern and it overpowered its fire. It hit the wyvern headfirst and knocked it back again.

Shiny took this time to finish it off for good this time.

"Precure: Shining Arrow Wave"

Shiny unleashed her arrow of light upon the wyvern and it was defeated. With the leader defeated all the other wyverns also disappeared.

"Cure Blaze thank you" Shiny said

Blaze looked at her hands and clenched them.

"I can't believe I'm a precure" Blaze said

"It can be hard to process at first but you'll get used to it" Nature said

"But...I don't know if I deserve to be a precure" Blaze said

"Why not?" Nature asked

"It's because...I'm a bully that's why" Blaze said

"Well you obviously like magic and want to protect this world from the darkness that's trying to take it over. I can also see it in your eyes. You no longer want to be that mean girl" Shiny said

Blaze looked at Shiny and Nature. Both of them were smiling at her.

"Who are you two actually. Its only fair since you two know who I am right?" Blaze asked

The two of them looked at each other and then looked back at Blaze.

"Well...I'm Atsuko" Shiny said

"And I'm Diana" Nature said

Blaze's eyes widened in shock

"Akko?" Blaze asked pointing at Shiny

Shiny nodded with a smile

"Diana?" Blaze asked pointing at Nature

Nature nodded too.

Blaze put it together and it made sense since Diana and Akko were always gone when the cures were around.

"Shiny how can you forgive me so easily after everything I've done?" Blaze asked

Blaze seemed to be shaking.

"Well I'm just a naturally forgiving person. I would like us to be friends, Blaze. I'm willing to give you a second chance" Shiny said

The cures then started to descend the mountain and came back. Blaze changed back into Hannah while the other two didn't since everyone at school needed to see that the cures actually rescued Hannah. Everyone was then informed that a third cure was born and would be helping out with the monsters here.

Hannah made it back to her dorm room and saw Barbara there.

"Hannah, I'm glad you're okay" Barbara said

Hannah looked away and Barbara looked confused by this action of hers.

"What's wrong?" Barbara asked

"Why didn't you help me when that monster was in front of me?" Hannah asked

Barbara looked down in shame.

"I-I'm sorry, Hannah. I was about to help you but when that monster looked at me I just froze" Barbara said

"So you couldn't will yourself to move when I was in danger?!" Hannah asked

Barbara could tell that Hannah was angry and she couldn't blame her. If Barbara were the one that was kidnapped and Hannah froze and didn't do anything then she would be angry too.

"I'm sorry" Barbara said

"All you can say is sorry?!" Hannah asked in anger

Barbara was starting to get angry too.

"What else do you want me to say, Hannah?!" Barbara asked in anger

The two of them then started to argue. When Diana had gotten back she saw her two roommates arguing with each other. She was actually quite shocked to see this because for the amount of time she's known these two they had gotten into an argument with each other before. She tried to settle things between them peacefully but that didn't work out too well. Hannah was about to leave to sleep somewhere else because she didn't want to sleep anywhere near Barbara but Diana told her that she couldn't do that because it was against the rules and managed to talk her out of it.

Diana decided to wait until tomorrow and ask Akko for help on how she could get these two to be friends again.
