Chapter 45: Sandboy
Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter. This one took a while to write but I think you'll like what I have planned including a few teasers. I hope you like what I have planned. Please Review and Enjoy.
At Marinette's house, she was in her room watching videos when she noticed something up about Tikki.
"Hey Tikki what's got you down?" Marinette asks.
"The kwami Nooroo's transmission is…"
"Hawk Moth's kwami?" Marinette gasps.
"Yes. He's celebrating his thirty-five hundredth cycle today… all by himself." Tikki frowns.
"We will free him from Hawk Moth one of these days, I promise." Marinette said.
"There may be a faster solution." Tikki said getting her attention.
"How?" Marinette asks.
"Kwamis are able to communicate with their kind on their cycle, or birthday. But we won't get another opportunity for a long time. See? A kwami's cycle lasts several hundreds of human years." Tikki explains.
"Wow! That's amazing! Then… you could find out where he is. But… how would you do that?" Marinette asks.
"The kwamis must gather in the Miracle Box at a specific time." Tikki said.
"When would that be?" Marinette asks.
"Tonight." Tikki admits.
"Tonight?! Why didn't you tell me about this sooner, Tikki?!" Marinette asks.
"Master Fu doesn't want us kwamis to leave our owner's sides. He says we have to be ready to take on action immediately if someone becomes akumatized." Tikki explains.
"Hmm… he's right. But surely it's no big deal, I mean… if all the other kwamis are able to meet up, then it's still gonna happen, right?" Marinette asks.
"Well, I'm afraid it might not work if I don't go. The more kwamis that are present, the better chance we have of succeeding." Tikki said.
"But if Master Fu doesn't approve." Marinette said.
"Wayzz, Faang, Plagg and I have an idea. Well it was mainly Plagg's idea. Faang, Plagg and I would go and gather with other kwamis inside the Miracle Box. Wayzz would stand guard and he'd let us know right away if anyone becomes akumatized. What do you think?" Tikki asks.
"That's a great idea! There is no risk if Wayzz is keeping a look out." Marinette smiles.
"Even if we don't tell Master Fu the whole truth?" Tikki asks.
"If it means we're able to save Nooroo and defeat Hawk Moth, Master Fu won't be able to hold it against you." Marinette assured.
"So you're okay with it? You'll let me go?" Tikki asks.
"Yes, I trust you Tikki." Marinette smiles.
"Oh thank you Marinette." Tikki said hugging her. "You don't have to worry. I won't let you down. Sweet dreams." Tikki grabs a marker and flies out.
At Sam's house, Sam and Alya were sitting on his bed watching a movie when Faang flew in.
"Are you sure about this?" Sam asks.
"If I go, I can help find Nooroo and if I do we can find Hawk Moth." Faang said.
"You do that and you guys have this thing in the bag." Alya said.
'Exactly." Faang said.
"I guess I can't really say no to this." Sam nods in understanding.
"Alright you two. I'm off." Faang said.
"Be safe buddy." Sam said handing Faang a USB drive.
"Say hi to Trixx for me." Alya said.
"I will, don't get too bored without me." Faang said flying out the window.
"Not possible." Sam smirks as Alya leans in and kisses him on the lips.
At Adrien's house, Adrien was at his desk doing his geography homework while Plagg was reading a magazine on camembert.
"Ugh I am exhausted. I'm off to bed." Plagg said.
"Good night Plagg." Adrien said focusing on his homework.
Reaching behind a pillow, Plagg pulls out a sock puppet of himself and puts it in the bed before flying off.
In Gabriel's study, Natalie was walking to the door.
"Good night sir." Natalie said before leaving.
Coming out from behind him, Nooroo tried flying out when a barrier stopped him.
"Where do you think you're going, Nooroo?" Gabriel asks not even looking at him.
"I just wanted to go out… just for a little while." Nooroo said nervously.
"No, you know the rules. You're not allowed to be more than a few feet away from me and no communicating with anyone besides me. There are no exceptions." Gabriel states.
"But Master it's my birthday today. I thought…"
"You obviously haven't grasped the rules, Nooroo. We're going to have to make them even simpler. From now on you won't be able to communicate. At all." Gabriel said.
"But Master—" Before Nooroo could finish his mouth was magically shut causing him to make muffled noises.
"It was a joke Nooroo. I'm not that cruel." Gabriel smirks snapping his fingers allowing Nooroo to talk again.
"Thank you Master." Nooroo bows when Gabriel's Miraculous lights up.
"Change of plans, Nooroo." Gabriel grins.
In his base, Gabriel turns into Hawk Moth.
"I feel an emotion of great intensity. So pure." Hawk Moth said turning a butterfly into an akuma. "Fly away my little akuma and evilise him."
On the rooftops, Tikki was waiting when Plagg flew in with a piece of cheese in his hands.
"Hey Sugarcube." Plagg said.
"I've told you not to call me that. You ever hear me call you Stinky Sock?" Tikki glares.
"No, but you should. That would delightful Sugarcube." Plagg flirts.
"Honestly you two are so similar to your owners it's crazy." Faang said flying in.
"Alright the gang's all here." Tikki said as they took off.
"So what lie did you two tell your owners?" Plagg asks.
"I didn't have to lie. He understood." Faang said.
"Same, I just told her the honest truth." Tikki said.
"Hmm maybe I should try that someday." Plagg said before eating his cheese.
"Plagg you should have saved some for the others." Tikki said.
"True but I was so grossed out by both your kindness it made me hungry." Plagg said.
"Oh Plagg, you'll never change." Faang rolls his eyes.
"I hope we can get in contact with Nooroo." Tikki said.
"So do I." Plagg frowns.
"Wait are you crying?" Faang asks.
"What? No! I uh…last one there gets no cheese!" Plagg said racing ahead.
"Yep still the same." Faang said.
At Master Fu's, the three kwamis enter through the front door.
"Hey Wayzz what's up?" Plagg asks when Wayzz shushes him.
"You'll wake master." Wayzz said pointing to Master Fu who was sleeping right below them. "If you contact Nooroo wish him a happy 3500 cycles for me."
"We will Wayzz." Faang said as he led them to the music box.
Entering the horn of the music player the three kwamis entered the Miraculous Box to see a large room filled with items.
"Plagg, Tikki, Faang you made it! We'll contact Nooroo for sure." One kwami said.
"Greetings noble kwamis of creation, destruction and force." The bee kwami said.
"What did you bring? What did you bring?" A pig kwami asks.
"Brothers and sisters living within the walls of the Miracle Box, on this special day, I brought you some delicious cheese." Plagg said causing them to cheer. "Unfortunately, I had to sacrifice it on the way here, to feed a poor, starving kitten."
Tikki and Faang narrow their eyes as the other kwamis cheer for Plagg.
"Faang, Tikki what did you bring?" Trixx asks.
"From my owner's I bring this." Tikki said showing them the marker.
"And from mine I bring this." Faang said showing them the USB.
As the kwamis looked at the gifts Trixx sneaked towards Faang. "How's she doing?"
"Very well, she's eagerly awaiting the chance to see you again." Faang said causing Trixx to smile.
"Now let's party!" A monkey kwami said turning on some music.
"It is good to see you three here again." The snake kwami said.
"Good to see you too Sass." Faang said.
"Your owners were wise to give you permission to come." Sass said.
"Yes, Mari—" Before Tikki could finish bubbles came out of her mouth.
"You know the rules Tikki, you can't say your owner's name unless our owner is in the room with us." Faang said.
"Right, sorry." Tikki apologizes. "My owner is the best Ladybug I've ever served with."
"We are also very lucky that the guardian of the Miracle Box agreed to it too." Sass said.
"Well… shall we dance, Tikki? We have to properly celebrate our friend Nooroo after all." Plagg asks dragging her away.
"Come on Faang." Trixx said grabbing him.
At Marinette's house, Marinette was sound asleep in her room when some powder dropped on top of her.
"Adrien… A house… three kids and a cat. Nah, forget the cat; a hamster." Marinette said in her sleep when she heard a noise waking her up.
"Marinette." It said.
"Huh? Tikki? Are you back?" Marinette asks sitting up only to see Adrien climb up with a twisted look on his face.
"Do you wanna know my secret?" Nightmare Adrien asks.
"Adrien?" Marinette gasps.
"I'm in love with a girl and her name is Chloe." Nightmare Adrien said coming towards her.
Screaming Marinette flips the blanket over him and runs to the roof.
"What kind of nightmare is this?!" Marinette screams when she looks down to see people running from their nightmares.
"The Sandboy has checked in. Now nightmares can begin." Looking up Marinette said a boy floating through the sky on a pillow with clothes that resembled the night sky. This was Sandboy.
"He must be bringing the nightmares to life." Marinette said when Nightmare Adrien popped out of the hatch.
"One day, Chloé and I will have a house together and we'll have a hamster named Marinette." Nightmare Adrein said when Marinette closes it.
"Tikki, Spots on!" Marinette said before remembering Tikki wasn't here. "Oh no. I gotta find Tikki."
From behind Nightmare Adrien crawled out of the hatch. "Marinette. The prettiest and smartest one of all is Chloe."
Jumping past it, Marinette grabs her shoes and runs out.
In Adrien's room, a powder dropped down on him and suddenly iron bars appeared on all his doors and windows trapping him in a cage.
"What's going on? Plagg wake up!" Adrien pulls back the blanket to see the sockdoll instead of Plagg. "Plagg! No! Who turned you into a sock?!"
At Sam's house, Sam and Alya were laying in bed with their clothes scattered from a night of fun when suddenly they heard a scream from outside.
"Uh what was that?" Sam asks.
"Nothing good." Alya said as they looked to the window to see a little girl being chased by a giant spider screaming. "Definitely not good!"
Grabbing their clothes, Sam and Alya got dressed and ran out when suddenly a powder dropped down on them.
"Oh Alya." A voice said.
Alya turns around to see Alpha Claw on the roof facing her with an evil grin.
"Alpha Claw?!" Alya gasps.
"And I'm not alone." Alpha Claw said holding all the members of her family tied up.
"No!" Alya panics running to them.
"Alya calm down that's not me!" Sam said.
"I'd be less worried about her and more about yourself Sam." A voice said.
Sam turns around to see something running in the shadows. Sam braces himself when from out of the shadows his eyes widen to see Rena Rouge but she was giving off an evil energy and part of her suit was red.
"Rena Rouge?" Sam asks.
"Not anymore. Hawkmoth got me because you weren't strong enough to save me, Sam. Now I am Rena Rage!" Rena Rage declared attacking him but Sam jumps out of the way.
"Oh man, where's Faang when I need him?" Sam panics.
In the Miraculous Box, a giant magic circle appeared around them with Sass in the middle.
"My friends, the time has come. Fellow kwamis, tonight, as you know, we have a special opportunity to create a connection with Nooroo. But we must put our voices together in order to achieve this. Kwamis, sing!" Sass said as all the kwamis gathered around and sang.
Outside everyone was struggling with their nightmares.
Alya was chasing after Alpha Claw with her baby sisters dangling in his hands.
"Come and get them Alya!" Alpha Claw mocks.
As Marinette ran down a street on the opposite end of Alya she didn't Sam holding up a trash can lid blocking Rena Rage's attacks.
"Look at me Sam! Look at me! Look at your biggest failure!" Rena Rage laughs.
In Adrien's room, the cage bars were closing in on him.
"Natalie! Father! Can anyone hear me?!" Adrien screams.
After a few minutes of singing, Faang looked to Tikki and Plagg who were equally concerned they weren't making enough progress.
"We won't make it Sass." Tikki said.
"We are missing a few kwamis. We need the Peafowl. We have not heard from her in so long." Sass said gesturing to an empty spot.
"What if we brought Wayzz in?" Plagg suggests.
"No, we need him outside." Faang said.
"But Faang, if we don't move now we won't have another chance until Nooroo's next birthday." Sass said.
Faang pauses before turning to Plagg. "Go get him fast!"
Flying out, Plagg goes right to Wayzz and tells him what's going on.
"No. I have to stand guard." Wayzz shook his head.
"But this could be our only chance of finding Nooroo… and Hawk Moth!" Plagg said.
Wayzz looks to Master Fu to see he was still fast asleep.
"Okay let's go." Wayzz said following him in.
As all the kwamis took position they all started to sing causing the magic circle to glow and a beam of light to shoot up.
At Master Fu's place, Marinette sneaks in to see Master Fu was sound asleep.
Making her way to the music box she looked to see there was a code.
"Oh no, what's the code? Tikki? Are you in there? Tikki?" Marinette whispers.
"The Sandboy just checked in. Now nightmares can begin." Sandboy sang as he approached the building.
"Master! Master Fu wake up!" Marinette said shaking him awake.
"Wha? Marinette?" Fu said as the powder poured on him. "Wha?"
"Quick Master you can't stay here!" Marinette said leading him to the door when suddenly the door opens to reveal Han and Kimiko but with blue skin that looked they were frozen and tattered robes.
"Fu, you caused all this!" They both point scaring Fu speechless.
"You lost two Miraculous and caused the downfall of everything!" Kimiko said.
"We were your friends! We did everything we could for you and you took everything from us!" Han said.
"It was not my fault. I did not do it on purpose." Fu whimpers.
"Your fault! Your fault! Your fault!" Han and Kimiko chanted as they walked towards Fu who ran to the corner in fear.
"Marinette transform!" Fu panics.
"I can't Master! Tikki is inside the Miracle Box!" Marinette said trying to swat Han and Kimiko away when the door opens behind them to reveal Nightmare Adrien.
"I'm in love with a girl and her name is Chloe!" Nightmare Adrien declared.
"This is disastrous, Marinette. There's no way of communicating with the kwamis when they are in their magic world." Fu said as Marinette whimpers.
At Hawk Moth's base, Hawk Moth is waiting for Ladybug, Cat Noir and Silver Claw to come save the day.
"Sandboy is turning Paris into one huge nightmare… and yet there's no sign of Ladybug, Silver Claw or even Cat Noir. What is going on?!" Hawk Moth asks when a flash of light shoots past him and he hears the kwamis sing.
"Nooroo! Nooroo! Nooroo! Nooroo! Nooroo!" The kwamis chanted.
"What is this?!" Hawk Moth asks causing the kwamis to gasp.
"That's not Nooroo!" Tikki said.
"It's Hawk Moth!" Plagg said.
"Keep singing! We have to find out where he's hiding!" Faang said.
"Aha! It's me who is going to find you, little kwamis! And I will make you my slaves, just like Nooroo!" Hawk Moth declares as the white beam turns purple and comes crashing down on the kwamis.
"His will is too strong!" Trixx said.
"Cut off the communication!" Faang orders as the communication ends.
"Hey, wait. The reason we can't speak to Nooroo is because he's powering Hawk Moth right now. Which means Hawk Moth's probably akumatized someone!" Wayzz realized.
"And since Tikki, Plagg and Faang are with us…" The kwamis pause causing the three of them to gasp.
"They can't transform!" Plagg, Tikki and Faang said.
"Get going! Find your owners and fast!" Trixx said.
In the sky, Hawk Moth communicated with Sandboy.
"They're making a serious mistake. I felt the kwamis on the right side of the Seine. Find them! Capture them!" Hawk Moth orders.
"Yes Hawk Moth!" Sandboy grins.
At Master Fu's shop, Tikki, Plagg, Faang and Wayzz fly out to see Fu being corned by Han and Kimiko while Marinette was swatting away Nightmare Adrien.
"No way." Faang gasps seeing his previous owner.
"Marinette, for your birthday I'm going to buy you flowers." Nightmare Adrien said.
"Hey isn't that your owner?" Tikki asks.
"Of course not! Flowers? Pwah, no way! He talks nonsense but never this bad." Plagg said grossed out.
"Hortensias, roses and Chloes." Nightmare Adrien causing Marinette to shriek.
"I better go find him. I just hope he's not living a nightmare without me around." Plagg said.
"I need to find my owner too!" Faang said as he took one last look at Han before flying out.
"Marinette it didn't work." Tikki said flying in.
"I'm sorry Master, we should have told you." Wayzz said.
"We'll talk about it later, Wayzz!" Fu said.
"Right now, we need to end this nightmare! Tikki, Spots On!" Marinette said as her earrings glowed and she transformed into Ladybug.
In the sky, Plagg and Faang were flying in different directions when Sandboy spotted Plagg.
"Kwami in sight." Sandboy grins.
"That's Cat Noir's kwami. Capture it or follow it back to its owner." Hawk Moth orders as Sandboy chases Plagg.
"The Sandboy just checked in. Now Nightmares can begin!" Sandboy said firing sand from his pillow.
"I already know what my nightmare is; and you'll never get me to eat dairy-free cheese." Plagg dodges before flying down into the subway.
Sandboy tries to follow him when a train comes in and narrowly misses him allowing Plagg to escape.
"Ha ha! I'm your worst nightmare!" Plagg mocks.
"You failed! Now Ladybug, Cat Noir and Silver Claw will be here soon! You must get me their Miraculous!" Hawk Moth said.
As Sam and Alya were corned by Alpha Claw and Rena Rage both of them held each other tight.
"Time to end this." Rena Rage said.
"SAM!" Looking up Sam and Alya smile to see Faang fly in.
"Faang!" Alya smiles.
"Just in time! Faang, Teeth Out!" Sam said as his bracelet glows turning him into Silver Claw.
As both of them charged in Silver Claw blocked them with his sword. "That's enough out of you two!"
Silver Claw kicks Alpha Claw into a lamp dumpster before locking weapons with Rena Rage.
"You can't save everyone. You couldn't even save me." Rena Rage growls.
"No but I can save this one." Silver Claw said judo flipping her into the same dumpster landing on top of Alpha Claw before flipping it so they couldn't get out.
"My hero." Alya smiles.
"Guess date night is over." Silver Claw said.
"Get out there and save Paris." Alya said as Silver Claw nods before leaping into action.
In Adrien's room, Adrien was struggling to get out of the iron bar prison he was trapped in when Plagg flew in.
"Adrien! Are you okay?" Plagg asks.
"Plagg! I am so relieved you're not a sock but you better have a good excuse." Adrien said.
"Good to see you've managed to survive your nightmare." Plagg said.
"Plagg, Claws Out!" Adrien said as his ring glowed and his transformed into Cat Noir.
"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir said breaking out of the prison. "No time for daydreaming!"
On the streets of Paris, Silver Claw lands on the roof and sees everyone running from their nightmares.
"Geez and I thought I had it bad." Silver Claw said as Cat Noir leaps in. "Uh Cat Noir? Is that you?"
"The one and only." Cat Noir smirks causing to sigh in relief. "What is this mess?"
"You mean besides trouble?" Ladybug asks joining them.
"Milady, tonight has been a total nightmare until you showed up." Cat Noir said kissing her hand.
"No time for lullabies. We have to stay focused." Ladybug said when they heard an explosion and saw Sandboy floating in the sky.
"There's our guy." Silver Claw said.
"His cloud is shaped like a pillow. I bet you that's where his akuma is." Ladybug said.
"Awesome. It's time for a pillow fight." Cat Noir said.
Drawing their weapons Cat Noir leaps in for an attack when Sandboy spots them and dodges. Using her yoyo Ladybug throws it at Sandboy but when he dodges Silver Claw grabs the yoyo and uses it to boost him up.
Silver Claw swings his sword but Sandboy dodges with ease making him land back down.
"You won't be able to fight your worst nightmare for long." Sandboy said firing sand from his pillow which explodes upon contact forcing the three heroes to run.
"He's moving around too much. We can't get in close!" Silver Claw said.
"And his evil sand is everywhere!" Cat Noir said.
"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug throws her yoyo into the air but before it could give her an item Sandboy blasts her canceling it out.
"Who's about to get a pretty magic jewel?" Sandboy grins as Ladybug backs up in fear.
"Ladybug!" Cat Noir and Silver Claw gasp.
Ladybug tries to throw her yoyo but it seemed to be acting like a normal yoyo. She then tried to jump higher into the air but barely got a few feet up.
"What's happening?" Ladybug asks when Sandboy flies in causing her fall back and dangle from the rooftops.
"Good job, Sandboy. Without her powers, she won't be able to stop you from taking her Miraculous. Ladybug, your nightmare is my dream come true." Hawk Moth grins.
Sandboy tries to grab one of Ladybug's earrings when Ladybug lets go and falls towards the ground.
Leaping in Cat Noir caught Ladybug before landing on the ground.
"The Sandboy just checked in. Now Nightmares can begin!" Sandboy said as sand poured down on Cat Noir.
"Looks like it just me now." Silver Claw gulps jumping down to them.
"No it isn't. Ladybug get behind me." Cat Noir said drawing his staff.
"You still have your powers?" Ladybug asks surprised.
"Losing my powers is not what I'm afraid of." Cat Noir admits.
"Then what is it?" Silver Claw asks.
"Cat Noir." Looking to the top of the roof they saw a Nightmare Ladybug spinning her yoyo. "Bad kitty! I'll never love you! I've always wanted to get rid of you!"
"You really have strong feelings for Ladybug." Silver Claw said.
"I do." Cat Noir cringed.
"I am gonna destroy you! Lucky Charm!" Nightmare Ladybug threw her yoyo into the air and a giant sword appeared.
Leaping down Nightmare Ladybug swings her sword but Cat Noir pulls Ladybug out of the way.
Silver Claw was about to join them when Sandboy appeared in front of him.
"Time to see what your nightmares are Wolfy." Sandboy said firing sand at Silver Claw who runs out of the way dodging it.
"Stay still you mangy kitty!" Nightmare Ladybug said attacking Cat Noir who was doing his best to deflect them.
As Silver Claw jumps over Sandboy he turns to face both Nightmare Ladybug and Sandboy.
"Cat Noir! Jump!" Silver Claw yells.
Looking to him, Cat Noir grabs Ladybug bridal style and leaps out of the way.
Nightmare Ladybug and Sandboy turn to face Silver Claw but when they did clouds moved from out of the sky revealing a full moon was right above him causing Silver Claw's Miraculous to glow.
"Moon Call!" Silver Claw took a deep breath but when he did the Miraculous ignited and when he released his sonic howl glowing silver blades shot out alongside it surprising everyone as the blades sliced Nightmare Ladybug's sword to pieces and one of the pieces flies towards Sandboy's pillow cutting a giant hole in it releasing the akuma.
"No!" Hawk Moth gasps.
"Cat Noir what was that?" Ladybug asks blown away.
"I don't know but that was awesome." Cat Noir said.
When Silver Claw's attack stopped, he looked in awe. "Whoa, how did I do that?" Silver Claw said looking to his Miraculous and then to the Full Moon.
"Miraculous Ladybug!" Ladybug throws a piece of the sword into the air undoing all the damages, making all the nightmares disappear and turning Sandboy back into a little bout with blue hair.
"Pound it." The three heroes fist bump.
"Quite the finisher back there, Silver Claw." Cat Noir said.
"Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out how that happened." Silver Claw admits.
"Well maybe you'll figure it out again." Ladybug said when her yoyo opened up. "It works again. No more evil doing for you little akuma. Time to de-evilise!" Spinning her yoyo Ladybug caught the akuma and turned it back into a butterfly. "Bye-Bye little butterfly."
"Hey kid." Silver Claw said walking over to him. "You okay?"
"Silver Claw, I watched a movie on TV. It was kinda scary. And then I went to bed and had a really bad nightmare. I woke up and there was a black butterfly in my room a-and a weird man spoke right in my face." He said.
"Hawk Moth, he fed off the negative emotion form a nightmare." Ladybug realized.
"That's what happens when you let kids watch anything they want on TV." Cat Noir said when his ring beeps. "Can I leave it to you take him home?" Cat Noir asks.
"I gotta go too before I transform." Silver Claw said.
"No worries. Right big boy?" Ladybug asks.
"Yay! Awesome Ladybug!" He smiles hugging her.
"Cat Noir? You don't really think I'm as evil as your nightmare, do you?" Ladybug asks.
"No way, you're the lady of my dreams." Cat Noir said leaving.
As Sam was walking home, he let out Faang.
"Faang, what was that? My Moon Call was a lot stronger for some reason." Sam said as Faang looked to the sky.
"That's why." Faang said pointing to the moon.
"The moon?" Sam asks.
"Whenever there's a full moon out my powers are much stronger. This was the first time we were out fighting during one." Faang explains.
"Wow, so once a month we get a serious power boost." Sam said.
"I guess you can say that. Sorry I wasn't around to help at the start." Faang said.
"Faang I'm worried. What if Alya really does become that in the future and I can't save her?" Sam asks.
Faang looks down the path and smiles. "Sam if we worry too much about the problems of future we can't focus on what we do have in the present." Faang turns Sam's head to see Alya waving at them.
Sam was still a little worried but his kwami did have a point.
"Hey so did you find your friend? How's Trixx?" Alya asks coming over.
"Trixx is well, very excited for when you two can fight together again." Faang smiles.
"What about Nooroo?" Sam asks causing Faang to sigh.
"Sadly no luck. Hawk Moth intervened and almost found our location." Faang admits.
"Don't worry Faang. We'll figure this out." Sam assured.
"I'll help too. Maybe I can dig up some dirt for my Ladyblog for you guys." Alya said.
"That would be perfect." Faang said.
The next morning, Master Fu was sitting down with Marinette, Tikki, Wayzz, Plagg and Faang.
"It's all my fault, Master." Wayzz said.
"No, this my fault." Faang said.
"No it's mine." Marinette said.
"No, Marinette, it's my fault." Tikki said.
"Yeah that's true, it's all their fault." Plagg said when Faang smacks him in the back of the head. "Ow! Watch it dog breath I'm not your chew toy."
"Not yet." Faang growls.
"Hmm." Fu said as Tikki turned to Marinette.
"You trusted me and I failed. I'm sorry I disappointed you." Tikki said.
"Aw, of course not, Tikki. I know you mean it well. I will always trust you, you know." Marinette said kissing Tikki on her cheek.
"Thank you Marinette." Tikki smiles.
"Next time, come and talk to me." Fu said.
As Marinette hugged Tikki, Plagg saw Faang fly out.
Sighing he decided to leave.
Down below, Sam was hugging Faang.
"You know you could have joined us." Faang said.
"Nah best let Marinette think I'm still in the dark for now." Sam said when he noticed Plagg flying out the window. "Wait, that's Cat Noir's kwami." Sam said noticing the direction Plagg was flying off in. "Hmm that direction he's flying in." Sam said softly.
"That's Plagg, be happy you got me instead of him." Faang said.
"Ugh me as Cat Noir? No thanks. I like dogs much better than cats." Sam chuckles along with Faang.
"Man's best friend for a reason." Faang smiles.
At Adrien's house, Plagg flies in to see Adrien packing his gym bag.
"Thank you, Adrien." Plagg said hugging him.
"Plagg? Is something wrong?" Adrien asks.
"No… Just… Thanks for letting me do whatever I want. Almost all the time." Plagg said.
"I know what it's like to have restricted freedom. You don't need to pretend to be a sock." Adrien said as Plagg hugs him.
"You're the best Cat Noir I've ever had! But uh let's not get too chessy about it now, huh?" Plagg suggests causing Adrien to laugh.
In his base, Gabriel was with Nooroo.
"I hope you liked your friends' birthday gift, Nooroo. Now I know that they're close and that there are many of them. If I manage to find them, I'll take their Miraculous. Then I'll have unlimited powers at my disposal. If I have to fight a whole army of superheroes, I'll do it. Whatever it takes, Nooroo. And Ladybug, Silver Claw and Cat Noir won't be able to stop me ever again!" Gabriel laughs scaring Nooroo.
