Chapter 46: Frozer

Up in the sky, a man in a hang glider was losing control and the citizens of Paris were gasping in horror when suddenly Ladybug, Cat Noir and Silver Claw swung in from the rooftops.
As Ladybug caught the man, Silver Claw grabbed the glider and Cat Noir caught the bouquet before all landing on the roof.
"You should take the elevator next time." Ladybug suggests.
"Pound it." The three heroes fist bump.
"My delta plane express delivery wasn't exactly the best idea." The man said.
"Word of advice: hold onto the hang glider or the bouquet, but not both." Silver Claw warns.
"Don't forget your bouquet." Cat Noir said handing it to him before taking one rose from it.
"Be careful on your way back." Ladybug calls out as the man left.
"For you milady." Cat Noir said getting down on one knee for her.
'Oh no here we go again.' Silver Claw rolls his eyes.
"Seriously, Cat Noir? You're about to transform back." Ladybug points to his ring.
"So what?" Cat Noir asks.
"Well, if you transform back, then I'll know who you are and then."
"We won't keep any secrets from each other anymore." Cat Noir said as he transformed back into Adrien shocking Ladybug and Silver Claw.
"We'll be united, more powerful and free, we'll defeat Hawk Moth, then we can both run away to an island! Far away from everything. We will live off nothing but fruits, and we will have a little pet hamster and we will name it—"
"Cat Noir!" Ladybug said as we zoom out revealing that to be a daydream. "I can't accept this rose from you. I told you already. I'm in love with someone else."
"I know, Milady. But if he weren't here, would things be different between us?" Cat Noir asks.
"Well, you know, I can't even begin to imagine him not being here. I'm sorry, Cat Noir. I really gotta get going, and you better do the same." Ladybug said throwing her yoyo and swinging away.
Walking up to him, Silver Claw put a hand on his shoulder. "For what it's worth I think you would make a very good boyfriend."
"You think so?" Cat Noir asks.
"Cat Noir, you are an amazing friend and I'm lucky to have you and Ladybug with me, but I just don't know if Ladybug will ever change her mind about you." Silver Claw sighs.
"So what should I do?" Cat Noir asks.
"I don't know Cat Noir, that's for you to figure out." Silver Claw said.
"It's the same thing over and over again. Why won't Ladybug ever give me a chance? I feel so stuck." Cat Noir asks.
"I'm sorry Cat Noir." Silver Claw said before running off.
Looking down at the rose, Cat Noir saw a petal fall off.
At the school, Sam had put on his fencing gear and made his way out only to see Adrien wasn't there.
"Adrien late for fencing?" Sam said not noticing Cat Noir leap onto the roof.
A few minutes later, Sam had just won his fencing match. "Point! Winner Mr. Noctis!"
Smiling Sam took off his helmet to see Adrien walk in with a sad look on his face.
"You sure take your time, Mr. Agreste." Mr. D'Argencourt said as Adrien faced Kagami.
"En garde." Kagami said putting on her helmet.
Watching the match, Sam cringed as Kagami landed point after point totally destroying Adrien.
In the locker rooms, Sam walked over to Adrien who was sitting down.
"You okay man? You weren't yourself out there today." Sam said.
"Sorry Sam, guess I've got a lot on my mind." Adrien said taking off his helmet.
"Anything I can help with?" Sam asks.
"Doubtful." Adrien said reaching into his bag and pulling out a rose causing Sam's eyes to widen.
'Wait a minute, Cat Noir had a rose just like that earlier.' Sam thought as he slowly walked away and hid behind a locker as Kagami walked over.
"What's going on, Adrien? I usually enjoy defeating you, but it's no fun when you make it that easy." Kagami said.
"Do you ever get the feeling that you're stuck, Kagami? That no matter what you do, it's the same old story over and over again. That things will never ever change." Adrien asks saying the same words Cat Noir said to Silver Claw causing Sam to gasp.
"No way." Sam whispers turning to his bag where Faang was and saw the look on his face.
"Adrien, the biggest mistake a fencer can make isn't choosing the wrong technique. It's choosing the wrong target. Change targets." Kagami said sitting next to him.
Smiling Adrien looks to the rose before giving it to Kagami.
Outside the school, Adrien waves goodbye to Kagami as she walks to her car.
"Well, well Casanova. Got yourself a new contender?" Plagg asks flying out.
"No. No way. Ladybug's the only one I love. But..." Adrien said.
"Ladybug doesn't love you, so maybe it's about time you changed your tune. Right?" Plagg asks.
"Why should it be different with Kagami? I must not have the right technique, that's all." Adrien said.
"I don't know a thing about human girls, but whenever I meet a beautiful Camembert, I introduce myself. Hello, Camembert. I'm Plagg. So very nice to eat you." Plagg said.
"I think I'll get love advice from someone else. I wonder where Sam went?" Adrien asks walking away unaware that Sam saw the whole thing from behind the school door.
"I don't believe this." Sam said holding his head.
"Sam stay calm you don't know for sure." Faang said.
"He said everything Cat Noir said when I talked to him earlier. Down to the very last detail. Oh my god, my best buddy is Cat Noir. This explains so much." Sam said as Faang flew out.
"Sam calm down, it's Ladybug all over again." Faang said.
"Right Ladybug." Sam said before his eyes widen. "Whoa."
"What?" Faang asks.
"This is crazy. Marinette who's Ladybug loves Adrien who's Cat Noir but doesn't love Cat Noir and Adrien who's Cat Noir loves Ladybug who's Marinette but doesn't love Marinette because he's in love Ladybug…wow they are in love with different sides of the same person." Sam said.
"Can you run that by me one more time?" Faang asks.
"This is just too freaky." Sam said holding his head.
"Sam do you realize what you've done? You now know every single identity of every Paris superhero. You cracked it." Faang said.
"I feel like I should tell them but would they even believe me?" Sam asks.
"Sam I warn you, this information is extremely valuable especially with this discovery. Please, I beg of you don't do anything crazy with it." Faang said.
"Okay fine, I won't say anything yet, but man I thought my relationship with Alya was crazy." Sam said walking away.
The next day, Adrien walked into school and saw Rose and Juleka listening to music, Ivan and Mylene walking together and Sam and Alya talking when Marinette accidentally bumped into him.
"Marinette?" Adrien said turning around. "Perfect timing."
"Huh? You think so?" Marinette asks.
"Actually, what I meant was... I need some advice right now. Can we talk?" Adrien asks.
"Uh... absolutely." Marinette said in her lovesick trance.
As the two of them walked to a bench, Sam noticed them.
'Oh man if only they knew, so much would change. But how exactly would I say it? I can't just walk up and tell them I know who they are.' Sam thought.
"Hey Sam you there?" Alya asks snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Huh? Sorry?" Sam said turning to her.
"I was saying, it's around that time for me to go get Trixx. Maybe we can go out and you know, do what we do?" Alya smirks.
"I'd like that." Sam said.
"So what are you looking at?" Alya asks.
"Oh the usual." Sam said pointing to Marinette and Adrien sitting on a bench.
"Wonder what'll happen this time?" Alya asks.
"Okay, well... I'm sorry, this is a bit awkward for me because it's about a girl." Adrien said getting her attention.
"A girl?" Marinette asks.
"We see each other all the time because we study together. We've just been friends, you know. Until recently." Adrien said.
"Til recently?" Marinette asks getting excited.
"Now I'm starting to see her differently. Has the same thing ever happened to you?" Adrien asks.
"Yes. No. Probably. What's she like?" Marinette asks.
"She's special. Very pretty. She's got dark silky hair, deep and mysterious eyes." Adrien said.
"Do... do I know her?" Marinette smiles leaning in.
"Yeah, it's Kagami." Adrien said and almost instantly the smile went away. "Marinette?"
"Uh what?" Marinette asks snapping out of it.
"I was just asking you what you thought I should do about Kagami." Adrien reminds.
"The Ice Queen?" Marinette asks before covering her mouth realizing what she said.
"What?" Adrien asks.
"The ice…rink. Yeah Yeah, that's what I said. No better place to break the ice than the ice rink." Marinette recovers.
"The ice rink? I think I'd be too shy to go there with her by myself." Adrien said.
Looking at his sad face Marinette pauses to think. "Well, uh, I could come along with you if you'd like."
"You'd do that? That's awesome! I can't wait to go to the ice rink together. Thanks!" Adrien said getting up and leaving.
"What are friends for." Marinette said before looking to Tikki. "Tikki, please tell me that didn't just happen."
Not knowing what to say Tikki shrugs causing her to groan.
On Juleka's houseboat, Marinette told Sam, Alya, Juleka, Rose, Alix and Mylene the whole story.
"You're kidding? You really said that?" Sam asks.
"I did." Marinette nods.
"This is gonna be your worst mess up in history. You have got to get yourself out of this right now. Ideas! Quick!" Alya said.
"Tell him you'd already promised to hang with your GFs." Alix said.
"Maybe you got lost on the way over?" Rose said.
"You gonna go to a concert." Juleka said.
"You had to finish an essay on Periwinkle's migration." Mylene said.
"Actually…I don't think I want to cancel." Marinette said shocking them.
"What?" They all said.
"Adrien really needs me and if he wants my advice then why not? After all, it's not an issue and I'm definitely not jealous because..." Marinette said.
"Because you two love each other." Rose finished.
"Because there's nothing between us." Marinette said.
"What do you mean nothing between you?" Alya asks.
"There's everything between you, actually." Mylene said.
"I always jumble my words around him. So how could I even manage going out on a date? I think we're actually just meant to be friends. Whenever I talk to him as a friend, I hardly stammer at all. That's a sign right there. Right?" Marinette asks.
The girls remained silent before they all started talking at once.
Seeing this Marinette got up and walked out of the room onto the front deck.
Looking to his pocket, Sam saw Faang shaking his head telling him not to do it.
Slowly walking to the bathroom, Sam closes the door and lets Faang out.
"I have to tell them." Sam said.
"No you don't." Faang said.
"Faang, Adrien is gaga for Ladybug and Marinette is gaga for Adrien, but they both are pushing each other away because they don't see it." Sam said.
"Sam, please. The information of who Ladybug and Cat Noir's identity is something that could rock the foundation of the entire world. Who knows what could happen if you let such an important secret out? We can't rush this. If these two are constantly pushing the other away maybe we should try helping them find love in other people." Faang suggests.
"So what? You're saying I should help Adrien get Kagami?" Sam asks.
"Just give it a chance. What do we have to lose?" Faang asks.
"Alright fine." Sam said as Faang went into his pocket and Sam walks out. "Girls I have an idea."
Instantly they stopped talking and looked over.
"Alya how do you feel about ice skating?" Sam asks causing Alya and the girls to smile.
"If only Marinette and Adrien could work as easy as us." Alya said.
'You have no idea.' Sam thought.
On the deck, Marinette walks out and leans against the edge not noticing Luka playing on his guitar.
When he noticed Marinette's sad face he changed his tune getting her attention.
"Do you feel kinda like this?" Luka starts playing a sad tune. "Personally I think a girl like you deserves to feel more like this." Luka starts playing a livelier tune. "And whoever made you feel this way is nothing but a..." Luka changes the tune causing Marinette to laugh.
"Thanks Luka." Marinette smiles when she looks at him and gets an idea. "Say are you free tomorrow?"
The next day, Sam and Alya and were walking away from Master Fu's place and Alya opens her box and Trixx flew out.
"Oh man, it feels like forever since I got out of that box." Trixx said gesturing.
"Good to see you again Trixx." Alya smiles.
"Alya." Trixx smiles hugging her.
"You know even if Marinette and Adrien mess up again at least we can have some fun together." Alya said.
"So true." Sam said as Trixx went into Alya's pocket.
At Adrien's house, Adrien was attempting the sneak out through the front door.
"Adrien? Shouldn't you be working on your fencing moves?" Adrien turns around to see his father and bodyguard walking in.
"Mr. D'Argencourt said he was very disappointed at your last session." Gabriel said.
"Yes, Father. I'm heading out for a one-on-one lesson with my strongest partner: Kagami." Adrien said.
Gabriel narrows his eyes before snapping his fingers ordering his bodyguard to take him.
In the car, Adrien was driving away.
"If you don't mind, could you drive me to the ice rink? I told him I was going for a one-on-one lesson but I didn't say it was a fencing lesson." Adrien said.
Seeing he was right; the Gorilla drove the car towards it.
At the ice rink, Mayor Bourgeois was talking to a man with long brown hair in a skater's uniform, this was Phillipe.
"I can't believe it, Mr. Mayor! You want to shut my ice rink down!?" Phillipe asks shocked.
"This is not your ice rink, Philippe! It belongs to the Parisians. I'm not closing it down. I'll just be converting it into an indoor gym for my Chloe…er my city. Nobody comes to your ice rink for lessons anyway. You haven't had a single student sign up this year. Just look around you." Mayor Bourgeois said gesturing to the empty ice rink.
Phillipe frowns when he noticed Marinette, Adrien, Sam, Alya, Kagami and Luka walk in.
"Wrong Mr. Mayor! Some new skaters! I knew it!" Phillipe twirls happily.
"Okay, okay. If you can get just one single sign up within 10 minutes, I'll put the gym conversion work on hold." Mayor Bourgeois said taking out some forms.
"Consider it done." Phillipe grins taking the forms.
At the stands, as Kagami put on her skating gloves Adrien looks to her and slips towards Marinette.
"It was really cool of you to bring Sam and Luka, Marinette." Adrien said.
"Well Sam and Alya are also good friends so I thought they could help." Marinette said.
"You're the best." Adrien said.
"That's what friends are for." Marinette said.
"I don't know what to do about Kagami. Should I offer to hold her hand?" Adrien asks.
"You have to let her fall." Marinette said.
"Huh?" Adrien said confused.
"No, what I actually meant was that you cannot let her fall in any way. I mean, do whatever you can so that she doesn't fall." Marinette stands up. "So yeah, grab ahold of her hand and take her onto the ice and then…" Marinette steps back and falls backward only to be caught by Luka.
"Try to be natural. Go with the flow and listen to the rhythm. Just follow my lead." Luka said as he helped Marinette tie her skates before leading her onto the ice.
Looking at them, Adrien slowly walks to Kagami as she laced up and noticed his skates were unlaced.
"Don't be scared. I won't tell anyone." Kagami said.
"About what?" Adrien asks.
"That you don't know how to lacee your skates." Kagami said helping him before leading him onto the ice.
"I uh haven't done this in a while." Sam admits causing her to giggle. "Wow Luka's being really cool around Marinette." Sam said lacing up his skates.
"Yeah he really seems to like her and Kagami seems to like being around Adrien." Alya said as she stood up, but when Sam tried to follow her, he wobbles trying to get to the ice. "Wait, Sam do you not know how to skate?"
"Here, take my hand." Alya said as Sam took it and they skated off onto the ice.
As Marinette and Luka skated together she saw Alya and Sam slowly skaing by and giggles at Sam struggling to get it the turns but when she looked over to see Adrien skating with Kagami she nearly falls over, but luckily Luka caught her.
"You okay?" Luka asks.
As Marinette looks up at Luka's smiling face she slowly started to feel more at ease when Phillipe skated over.
"Hey young man have you ever thought of signing up for ice skating lessons? The judges wouldn't be able to resist that smile of yours." Phillipe said.
"That's nice of you, sir, but my life is already filled with music. And I might have a brand new song to write, so..." Luka said looking right at Marinette.
"Music's an important part of skating so think about it." Phillipe said.
Behind them Sam was slowly starting to get the hang of it.
"Hey look at you." Alya smiles as she slowly lets go and Sam skates a little ahead.
"Yes." Sam smiles before doing a small jump and landing back down.
"Wow look at you." Alya giggles.
"My you're certainly a fast learner." Phillipe said skating up to him. "Tell me have you ever considered skating? With your talents you could go far."
"Thank you sir, but I have a lot on plate as it is and I have to prioritize on the important things." Sam said.
"What about you miss? You seem to be having fun." Phillipe said looking to Alya.
"Thanks but no thanks I can't do sports to save my life. I'm more of a tech girl." Alya said.
As Kagami skated with Adrien, she looks over at the others.
"Did you invite them because you were scared of being alone with me?" Kagami asks.
"What no? Sam and Alya are a couple so they just came here for their date and I just asked Marinette to help me." Adrien said.
"Help you with what?" Kagami asks.
"To uh…perfect my figure skating skills." Adrien said.
"But you don't need her for that." Kagami said skating ahead to show off amazing moves getting everyone's attention.
"Wow she's good." Alya said.
"She's really athletic not to mention she's got a famous family like Adrien." Sam realized when Phillipe skates up to Kagami.
"You have what it takes to be a champion. The style. The talent. Let me be your private coach." Phillipe said.
"I only practice noble arts like archery or fencing. Ice Skating is just for fun." Kagami said skating away.
Sighing Phillipe leans against the wall when Mayor Bourgeois taps his watch meaning time was almost up.
While Marinette and Luka continue to skate together Luka lifts Marinette into the air and they do a series of tricks you would see an ice skating pair do and Marinette was having a blast.
"Wow look at Marinette. She's having a blast." Sam said.
"Yeah, and she's hanging around a boy that she can actually talk to." Alya said.
Sam looks at both couples and sighs. They were all so happy but part of him wanted to tell Adrien and Marinette the truth so he could help them, but if he did what would happen with Luka and Kagami.
Suddenly Phillipe cuts in and skates towards Marinette.
"I'll give you a week's worth of lessons for free. Just a few hours a day and you'll be a star." Phillipe said.
Marinette pauses to think but then remembers all her Ladybug activities. "Sorry but I'm very busy as it is."
As Marinette and Luka skated away Phillipe noticed Adrien.
"Is that Adrien Agreste?" Phillipe smiles before skating after him. " Adrien Agreste, I can see it now. Grace and style model, and professional ice skating champion. If you take lessons with me, I'll have you shining like the candles on a birthday cake."
"Uh maybe." Adrien said when Kagami pulls him away.
Seeing this Marinette is distracted and skates into the wall getting Luka and Adrien's attention.
"Are you okay?" They both asks.
Looking up Marinette saw Adrien and Luka offering her a hand but she had no idea which one to take.
"Oh man that girl is in the middle of an impossible choice." Alya cringed.
"Which one is she gonna pick?" Sam asks when Phillipe skated in.
"See how a few lessons from me could come in handy? Please, Adrien Agreste. Just put your name on this form and your fans will come running. And my ice rink will be saved!" Phillipe said when Mayor Bourgeois grabs the form.
"None of these young people want to sign up, Philippe. You can't force them now, can you?" He asks.
"I guess not." Phillipe sighs in defeat before skating off.
"Get up." Kagami said offering Marinette a hand and helps her up only to whisper in her ear. "The only reason you can't stay on your feet is your hesitation. I never hesitate."
Marinette's eyes widen as Kagami and Adrien skate off.
"Marinette? Are you okay?" Luka asks.
"I think I hurt myself. Probably best we call it a day." Marinette said leaving the ice.
"Poor girl." Alya said feeling bad for her.
Sam was so conflicted right now, he wanted to tell Marinette and Adrien the truth and help them get together but what if what Faang said was true. If he told them what if something horrible would happen?
"C-Come on let's go see if we can help her." Sam said skating off.
"Yeah good idea. Adrien." Alya calls out getting his attention. "Marinette's not looking to good, we're gonna go see what's up."
"What? I'm sorry Kagami my friends need me." Adrien said as he followed after them.
"I'm sorry Phillipe but the ice rink will be closed down tonight." Mayor Bourgeois said walking out causing Phillipe to break into tears.
At his base, Hawk Moth saw everything.
"Ah. A burning passion that's about to be put on ice. What perfect bait for my akuma." Hawk Moth said turning a butterfly into an akuma. "Fly away, my pretty akuma, and evilize this ice skater's newly frozen heart."
At the ice rink, Marinette walks into the bathroom stalls.
"Why are you so sad?" Tikki asks flying out.
"I like Luka. He's really nice, but do you think he's just like Adrien? Just a friend?" Marinette asks.
"Marinette? Girl are you okay?" Alya asks knocking on the door.
As Adrien went looking for Marinette, Plagg flew out.
"You're supposed to be in love with Ladybug, and now you ditch Kagami to go after Marinette?" Plagg asks.
"Me? Go after Marinette? No she's just a friend." Adrien said but little did he know Sam walked out from down the hall hearing everything.
"Adrien really doesn't see her that way. So what would he say if I told him?" Sam asks.
At the rink, the akuma entered Phillipe's skates.
"Frozer. I am Hawk Moth. They want to take your rink away from you. So from now on, all of Paris will be your ice kingdom. In return, you must bring me Ladybug, Silver Claw and Cat Noir's Miraculous." Hawk Moth said telepathically.
"Ready to skate Hawk Moth!" Phillipe said as he transformed and everything around him turned to ice.
Down the hall Sam and Adrien walked up to Alya.
"Anything?" Sam asks.
"No she won't come out." Alya said turning to them and sees the ice coming towards them. "What the?!"
"What is that?!" Sam said.
"Guys run! Marinette hide!" Adrein said running down one hallway while Sam and Alya ran down the other.
In the bathroom, Marinette sees ice enter the room.
"Is that ice?" She said startled before reaching to her pocket. "Let's try one of Master Fu's magic-aron." Marinette said taking out her magic macaroons. "Tikki, power up!"
Tossing the macaroon into the air Tikki ate it and she transforms growing stalagmites from her wings. "StalacTikki."
"StalacTikki, Spots on!" Marinette said as her earrings glowed and she transformed into Ice Ladybug getting a tiara, snow designs all over her suit and ice skates.
Down the hall, Sam and Alya closed a door shut as Alya took out her Miraculous and put it on.
"Oh man this not how imagined today would go." Alya said as Trixx flew out.
"Sam we need a powerup." Faang said.
"Good idea." Sam said taking out his magical jerky and breaking the ice one in half. "You guys are gonna need this."
"Is now really the time for a snack?" Alya asks.
"Trust me, Faang power up!" Sam said as Faang ate the jerky and his tail turned to ice.
"FrostFaang." He said.
"FrostFaang, Teeth Out!" Sam said as his bracelet glows and he transformed. A large snowflake design appeared on his back, light blue patterns running down his arms and legs as skates appeared and his sword changed into an ice lance.
Seeing this Alya grins looking at Trixx.
"Let's do this." Trixx nods.
"Trixx, power up!" Alya said as Trixx ate the jerky and transformed.
"IceTrixx!" Trixx said as ice came from the whiskers.
"IceTrixx, let's pounce!" Alya said as her necklace glowed and she transformed into Rena Rouge with snowflakes running down her outfit, her tail's tip became frozen, white gloves, skates and a small tiara in her hair.
On the opposite end, Adrien takes out his magic camembert.
"Plagg, Power up!" Adrien said as Plagg ate the cheese and transformed.
"PlaggGlacier." Plagg said.
"PlaggGlacier, Claws out!" Adrien said as his ring glowed and he became Cat Noir but with white ice designs and skates.
On the streets of Paris, a man with blue skin, icy hair and a blue skating shoot raced in. This was Frozer.
As Frozer raced through the streets of Paris he turned everything and everyone to ice.
"Ladybug, Cat Noir and Silver Claw. Your frozen statues will sparkle like trophies upon my kingdom of ice!" Frozer declares turning the Eiffel Tower to ice.
In the streets, Ladybug met up with Ice Silver Claw and Rena Rouge.
"Rena Rogue? Boy am I glad to see you again." Ladybug said.
"Been awhile since we worked together Ladybug, good thing I was told to dress for the occasion." Rena Rouge smiles when Cat Noir leaps in.
"Cat Noir. We need to set up a trap for whoever turned the city into a giant ice rink." Ladybug said.
"My feline instincts prefer to track and observe before I attack. You go your way, I'll go mine." Cat Noir said bitterly.
"Uh what's going on?" Rena Rouge asks.
"We had a little situation a few days ago." Silver Claw cringed.
"Please don't tell me you're mad at me about the rose." Ladybug said.
"There may be a certain chill between us now." Cat Noir said.
"Guys please we need to focus on saving Paris." Silver Claw said.
"You right Silver Claw, but this time I'm changing to a partner I know will have my back." Cat Noir said grabbing Silver Claw. "Guys stick together."
"Wait what?" Silver Claw asks.
"Cat Noir what is going on?" Ladybug asks.
"Why should you care? It's not like we're a couple." Cat Noir said as he and Silver Claw skated off.
"Cat Noir don't get all pouty on me." Ladybug groans.
"Guess it's guys and girls teaming up for this one." Rena Rouge said as they skated off.
As they raced around Paris, Cat Noir found Frozer's skating lines in the ice.
"This way." Cat Noir grins.
"Nice tracking." Silver Claw said.
"Thanks Silver Claw, it's nice when someone on this team is kind to me." Cat Noir mutters that last part.
"Cat Noir I'm sorry she rejected I agree it wasn't cool." Silver Claw said skating up to him.
"But it's always like this. I love Ladybug with all my heart but she never seems to think of me as anything more than a friend and I'm tired of it. You're lucky, you got Rena Rouge. Don't I deserve to have someone like that in my life?" Cat Noir asks before skating ahead.
"Dude do you know how I got Rena Rouge? I trusted her with everything about me and she trusted me with everything. You just need to wait for Ladybug to be ready." Silver Claw said.
As Ladybug and Rena Rouge skated towards the Eiffel Tower, Rena Rouge looks over.
"So Ladybug what exactly happened with you and Cat Noir?" Rena Rouge asks.
"It's nothing. He did another one of his romantic things and I said no. He's overreacting." Ladybug said.
"Well have you ever considered just giving him a chance?" Rena Rouge asks.
"We're superheroes we can't." Ladybug said.
"Ladybug, the reason I'm able to be with Silver Claw is because we trust each other. Not just as heroes but as people. You're all work and no play, you need time just for you too." Rena Rouge said as they came to a stop. "Don't you think you deserve someone in your life?"
"Yeah…I guess." Ladybug said before looking around. "We need to set a trap, you think you can whip out one of your illusions?"
Rena Rouge nods but neither of them noticed Frozer looking down at them from the Eiffel Tower.
Skating up behind a frozen truck the boys saw him eyeing the girls.
Jumping down Frozer leaps in for an attack but at the last second Cat Noir and Silver Claw grab Ladybug and Rena Rouge skating away before Froze brought his foot down causing some ice to crack.
"Thanks for the save Kitty." Ladybug said as Cat Noir winks at her.
"Well he seems to be in a better mood." Rena Rouge said.
"Guy talk, what about Ladybug? What did you do?" Silver Claw asks.
"Girl talk." Rena Rouge said when ice was shot at them forcing them to let go.
Turning around they saw Frozer on their tail.
He's too fast!" Ladybug said Frozer leaps over them and fires ice from his skates.
Grabbing his lance, Silver whacks them away.
"My thoughts, the akuma is in the skates." Silver Claw said.
"Probably right, but how are we gonna get him to hold still?" Rena Rouge as Frozer races in.
Acting quickly Rena Rouge grabs the end of Silver Claw's lance and pulls him out of the way just in time.
"Thank goodness my weapon changed." Silver Claw said as they raced along the frozen river to try and lose him.
"You can't escape me!" Frozer yells turning a corner only to see a dead end. "What? Where did they go?"
Turning around Frozer skates off in the opposite direction only for the dead end to disappear revealing Rena Rouge did her illusions.
"Ah works every time." Rena Rouge smiles spinning her flute in her hands.
"Good work Vixen." Silver Claw smiles.
"My Cataclysm could destroy his skates but he'd have to be up in the air. You were right, Milady. We're gonna have to set a trap." Cat Noir said.
"You were right too. We observed and now we know enough." Cat Noir said.
"Okay you're both right, now can we go beat the bad guy?" Silver Claw asks.
"Oh yeah, all we need now is a little luck." Cat Noir hints.
"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug throws her yoyo into the air and a bag of salt appears.
"A bag of salt?" Rena Rouge asks when some spills to the ground causing the ice to melt.
"Salt melts ice!" Ladybug smiles before handing it to Cat Noir and Rena Rouge. "Okay switch. While Silver Claw and I keep Frozer busy you two are gonna have to do some melting. Here's the plan." Ladybug whispers it to them.
Soon Cat Noir and Rena Rouge skated towards a fire truck and used the salt to melt the ice off the ladder and set everything up.
"The things we do for the ones we love, am I right?" Rena Rouge smirks.
"Oh yeah." Cat Noir smirks as they push the truck into position.
As Frozer skated around he heard a whistle. Looking up he saw Ladybug and Silver Claw looking down at him.
"We're waiting for you, Frozer! Don't get cold feet now!" Ladybug taunts.
"Don't play with fire you two!" Frozer said skating after them.
"Let's see if you can do this!" Ladybug said as she slides under a bench while Silver Claw leaps over it.
"Don't make me laugh!" Frozer said copying them and gaining on Silver Claw. "Got ya now!"
"I wouldn't be so sure!" Silver Claw stabs his lance into the ground and loops around so he was right behind Frozer and Ladybug. "Moon Call!" Silver Claw's bracelet glows as he took a deep breath releasing a sonic howl that acted as a boost launching Frozer and Ladybug through the streets of Paris.
Using the extra speed, Ladybug leaps over the edge and does a flip over the ladder Cat Noir and Rena Rouge melted and threw her yoyo around it.
When Frozer tries to copy her Ladybug pulls causing the ladder to launch Frozer into the air.
"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir touching his skates destroying them and releasing the akuma.
"No more evil doing for you little akuma. Time to de-evilise!" Ladybug said turning the akuma into a butterfly. "Bye-bye little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!" Ladybug throws the salt into the air and everyone and everything in Paris thaws and Frozer turns back into Phillipe.
"Huh? What?" Phillipe said confused.
"Pound it!" The four heroes fist bump.
At Hawk Moth's base, he was angry at another failure.
"You smashed through my plans like an icebreaker, Ladybug. But revenge is a dish best served cold." Hawk Moth growls.
At the ice rink, Adrien took a selfie with Phillipe.
"This is Philippe at the ice rink. He makes skating so much fun." Adrien types before posting.
"Thank you Adrien." Phillipe said.
"I hope this helps you get more students to sign up." Adrien said as he and Kagami walked away.
"You still keep doing what other people want you to do." Kagami said.
"No, I just want him to be happy. And I'm not changing my target. Even if it means failing over and over again, because one day, I will succeed and hit it." Adrien said as Kagami looked over to Marinette.
"The day you realize you've got the wrong target, I'll be here." Kagami said kissing him on the cheek before leaving.
As Marinette looks over at them she frowns sadly.
"Do you wanna take the subway together Marinette?" Luka asks when he sees her looking at Adrien. "You should probably go over and talk to him. Thanks for inviting me out today."
"Thanks for coming Luka." Marinette said kissing him on the cheek before running after Adrien as his car starts to drive away. "Adrien!"
"Wow, well this day certainly has been full of surprises." Alya said as she and Sam looked over.
"Tell me about it." Sam said.
"Honestly, I'm at a loss for words. I always thought Adrien and Marinette were great together but when she's around Luka she's able to be herself without being a nervous wreck." Alya said.
"And Kagami is able to help Adrien get out of his prison of a home." Sam said. 'Man do I have the biggest secret in all of Paris but I don't know if I should say it to get them together or help them with their new crushes.'
"Well maybe in time. Come on, we still have the whole day together and I do not want it to go to waste." Alya said grabbing his arm and pulling him away.
"ADRIEN!" In his car, Adrien and his bodyguard see Marinette running after them.
Stopping the car, Adrien walks out to see Marinette panting heavily.
"Marinette was there something you wanted to tell me?" Adrien asks.
Marinette looks up at him and takes a deep breath. "I love you, Adrien! Even if you love Kagami. I just had to tell you. There!" Marinette confesses.
"Kagami? I don't love her. You're the one I love." Adrien said holding her. "How could I have been so blind?"
"You love me? So... We can get married and have a beautiful house and a dog, a cat or a hamster, and we'll name it—" Marinette said excited.
"Marinette?" Adrien said.
"Marinette?" She said confused as we zoom out to see like with Adrien earlier Marinette was in a daydream.
"You okay Marinette?" Adrien asks.
"I just wanted to say that…we should go to the ice rink more often." Marinette said.
"You mean…just you and me?" Adrien asks.
"You and me?" Marinette sighs at the thought. "Oh, no! course not! Cause we should take the whole gang there. Luka, Kagami, Sam, Alya." Marinette lists.
"Yeah and we can bring everyone else too. I'll try and free up some time. See you at school." Adrien said walking to his car.
"Tikki, please don't tell me I did it again." Marinette cringed.
"You'll get there one day." Tikki sighs.
As they walked off tons of people came to Phillipe wanting to skate.
