Chapter 47: Style Queen
Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter. Now this was a wild one. I know this is a two-parter but I thought that by doing two chapters instead of one I can really nail these. Also I have a huge surprise in this chapter that none of you saw coming. I hope you like what I have planned. Please Review and Enjoy.
At Marinette's house, Marinette was in her room working on her hat that she made for Adrien a while back during the Mr. Pidgeon fiasco while listening to the news.
"Tonight at Grand Palais hosts the most eagerly awaited event of the year! The sensational fashion show of the famous designer Gabriel Agreste! And a major event always brings out prestigious guests including the Mayor Andre Bourgeois and his wife the great and highly respected queen of fashion." Nadja said as we zoom out to see Marinette looking at the hat.
"Honestly, Marinette, it's perfect the way it is." Tikki said.
"Oh, Tikki, I don't know. I feel like it's the ugliest hat in the world and Adrien is supposed to model it in front of everyone. He'll resent me for the rest of his life! I have zero talent! And everyone's gonna find that out tonight." Marinette said worried.
"You're a great designer, Marinette. Besides, if your hat was so ugly, why did Gabriel Agreste hand-pick it for his fashion show?" Tikki asks.
"But what if people see that it's a synthetic pigeon feather and not a real one? They're gonna think it's lame, aren't they?" Marinette asks.
"You did the right thing of replacing it. With that allergy of his, Adrien would be sneezing all the way down the catwalk." Tikki said.
"You're right! Besides, I don't have time to make changes anyway. The show begins in..." Marinette looks at her phone and gasps. "Oh no! I'm gonna be late again! Quick, Tikki!" Marinette said as Tikki flew into her bag and Marinette put the hat in a box and ran off.
At the Grand Palais, Marinette ran over to see a Nadja and a few others waiting in front as a car pulls up to reveal Chloe and a woman with a white and black dress, sunglasses and a fancy hat.
"This is it! Here she comes! The international queen of fashion, director of "Style Queen" magazine, Audrey Bourgeois!" Nadja said as everyone started taking pictures of her.
"Anthony. Uh… Andre, be a dear and fire the chauffeur. I can't believe Gabriel allows his staff to drive like that." Audrey said.
"Neither do I." Chloe agrees.
"Yes of course dear." Mayor Bourgeois said causing Adrien's bodyguard to glare at them before driving off.
"Oh no. It's Audrey Bourgeois!" Marinette panics.
"Who?" Tikki asks popping her head out.
"Only the harshest critic in the entire world! I didn't know she was coming!" Marinette said as Audrey walked to the red carpet.
"What is this carpet? Is it fabric? Why isn't the red carpet made out of marble like I said!" Audrey asks looking to Roger. "You're fired! Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous."
"She's gonna hate my hat for sure." Marinette gulps.
"I'm sure she won't. Come on Marinette, Adrien is waiting for you." Tikki urged.
Inside the Grand Palais, Chloe and her family were in an interview with Nadja.
"Audrey, like the slogan of your magazine, says If it's in good taste; it's in Style Queen! So, what's in good taste this year?" Nadja asks.
"Judging by the way you're dressed, you obviously don't know my dear. For your information the trend this year is Glitter." Audrey said.
"Glitter? There's no glitter on my hat! This is a fashion disaster!" Marinette said eavesdropping.
"As the editor of Style Queen, you spend a lot of time in New York. It must be nice to be with your family for a change here in Paris." Nadja said.
"She's very happy to see me." Chloe said moving in. "By the way Mom I have something for you." Chloe said taking out a small gift.
"Clara. Uh Chloe what is this?" Audrey asks looking at it.
"Uh it's a gift." Chloe said.
"Ugh, this wrapping paper is ridiculous, utterly ridiculous. You're fired." Audrey said.
"Audrey please you can't fire Chloe. She's your daughter." Mayor Bourgeois said.
"Audrey, how long are you planning to stay in Paris?" Nadja asks.
"As short as possible." Audrey said walking in with her family right behind her.
Zooming out we see Gabriel Agreste watching this from his office. "Thank you. This fashion show just might be one of the most important in Gabriel Agreste's career, as evidenced by Audrey Bourgeois' presence. Will the famous fashion designer who never appears in public show up for the occasion? Stay tuned to find out." Nadja said as Gabriel turned off his screen.
Outside the Grand Palais, Marinette was making a run for it.
"Where are you going?" Tikki asks.
"You heard Audrey Bourgeois, right? They can't let Adrien model this hat; there's not glitter on it; zero trend-potential." Marinette said when Natalie walked out.
"There you are, Marinette. Everyone's waiting for you." Natalie said noticing her causing Marinette to stutter. "The dressing rooms are that way. Hurry up you're late."
Running to follow her, Marinette trips on the ground and her hat rolls out landing near Audrey's foot horrifying the poor girl.
"What is this?" Audrey asks picking it up.
"Uh." Marinette said nervously coming over to get it.
"Mom, this is Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the loser, and this is a hat she made because she thinks she's a designer. Look she even signed it." Chloe said flipping the hat upside down to show her signature.
"I uh it's not me it's another Marinette. I was just bringing to uh." Marinette said nervously taking it back.
"Marinette we have to go." Natalie calls out as Marinette ran off but little did she know Audrey was eyeing her.
In the dressing room, Adrien was wearing a new outfit to match Marinette's hat when he reached for his ring to take off.
"I don't know Plagg." Adrien said.
"Come on, you've done this before. Still need me to hold your hand?" Plagg asks eating cheese. "If anything happens I'll fly back and give it to you." Plagg said with his mouthful.
"Alright Plagg, I trust you." Adrien said handing the Miraculous to him when they heard a knock at the door.
As Plagg went to hide, Adrien opened the door to see it was Marinette.
"Hi Marinette." He smiles.
"Oh uh hallah." Marinette said nervously as she walks over but trips and falls into him causing her to drop the hat and the feather to fall out. "Oops uh sorry."
"No worries." Adrien said getting the hat while Marinette got the feather. "I hope it's not too hard to fix it."
"It doesn't really matter, the hat is a total failure." Marinette sighs.
"What? Why would you say that?" Adrien asks.
"Because… the queen of fashion, Audrey Bourgeois, saw it and hated it. I'm sorry, Adrien. I really messed up. I'm a total no-talent. Please don't put it on." Marinette begs.
"Marinette, everything's gonna be fine. Your hat looks great; I think it's awesome; so does my father. Otherwise he wouldn't have picked it for me." Adrien said putting the feather back on the hat and putting it on. "Look. See." Adrien walked down the room like he was on the runway.
"You have that catwalk down." Marinette giggles.
"Really? Thank you." Adrien smiles when Natalie clears her throat.
"We have to go." Natalie said.
In the main room, Sam was with his dad as they were checking out the tech equipment.
"Gotta admit dad, I was surprised you wanted to sponsor Adrien's fashion shoot.," Sam said.
"Well he is your friend figured it would be nice to help. Plus, Audrey Bourgois is here, if we can help make this a success it could really help." Nick said.
"Don't get your hopes up dad, if she's anything like her daughter nothing nice will come out of that mouth." Sam shook his head.
"Well we're almost ready. Why don't you go sit down with your friends?" Nick suggests.
"Thanks dad." Sam said walking away and sitting down next to Alya and Marinette's family when Audrey and her family walk in from one side and Natalie and Marinette walk in from the other.
"Marinette! Yoo hoo!" Tom calls out.
"She looks nervous." Sabine said.
"Yeah it's her first fashion show with her first professional piece and not to mention Adrien will be modeling it." Alya said.
"Hard to believe it's from the same contest I saw on my first day of school." Sam said.
"Oh yeah, lot has happened to you since that day." Alya smiles looking at him.
"Tons." Sam smiles when Audrey walks over and sits between Sam and Marinette's parents.
"How dilapidated is this place? And I have to share the front row with this group of low-lifes? Ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous." Audrey said.
"Uh excuse me ma'am that seat is reserved for Marinette." Sam said as she looks at him.
"This Marinette girl again?" She asks.
"Let me handle this mother. Hey losers, do you know who my mother is? She's Miss Style Queen: the most powerful woman in the world of fashion. This show is for her so get lost." Chloe shoos as Natalie and Marinette walks over.
"Mrs. Bourgeois. Mr. Agreste has reserved a seat for you." Natalie said.
"Ah finally." Audrey smiles standing up.
"In the second row." Natalie said.
"What?!" Audrey said in shock.
"My mother always sits in the front row!" Chloe snaps.
"Not today." Natalie said.
"This is unacceptable! Gabriel cannot do this to me! I'm the one who discovered him! Without me, he'd still be drawing his unworthy designs in his dismal, grim studio!" Audrey declares.
"I can offer your seat to someone else if you don't want it." Natalie said.
"How dare you! You're fired!" Audrey points.
"I don't work for you, I work for Mr. Agreste." Natalie states.
"We'll see about that." Audrey said taking out her phone.
At the mansion, Gabriel looks at his phone to see Audrey was calling but didn't answer. Looking up he was staring that coffin of his wife. "I'm sorry, it took some time, I know. But today, I can feel my prey has more malice in her than anyone I've ever akumatized before. She will be… my masterpiece." Gabriel declares putting flowers down by her.
At the fashion show, Audrey went to voicemail.
"Please leave a message." It said causing her to growl.
"I assume from your expression that I'm not fired." Natalie said.
"This is unacceptable! I will not view a fashion show from the second row, ever!" Audrey said as she stormed out with Chloe right behind her.
"And I thought Chloe had issues." Alya whispers to Sam.
"Guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." Sam whispers.
At his base, Hawk Moth saw everything.
"Tell me my dear akumas, what will be the trend tonight?" Hawk Moth asks turning a butterfly into an akuma. "Fly away my little akuma and evilise that vile queen."
At the Grand Palais, Audrey was about to storm out when the akuma entered the rose in her hat causing her to stop.
"Mom?" Chloe asks.
"Audrey?" Mayor Bourgeois asks worried.
"Style Queen, I am Hawk Moth. You've been refused a throne that is rightfully yours as queen of fashion. You will now be able to revenge those fashion disasters, who disrespected you." Hawk Moth said telepathically.
"They'll see who's queen, Hawk Moth." Audrey declares as she transforms horrifying her family.
As the fashion show started, Sam looks to his dad as all the lights and music turned on with ease just as Adrien walks in.
Looking down Nick gives Sam the thumbs up which Sam returns with a smile.
However just as Adrien walked to the end of the catwalk, a flash of glitter crashed down across from him shocking everyone.
From it, a woman with a body entirely made of glitter with a crown and scepter appeared.
"A fashion show without the queen of fashion? Gliterally unacceptable!" Style Queen declared.
"Is this supposed to happen? I've never attended a fashion show before." Tom asks.
"Not even close." Sam said as he and Marinette glared at Style Queen.
"Where is that ungrateful Gabriel?! I demand he kneel before me!" Style Queen declares.
"My father isn't here." Adrien declares looking at her.
"Well then. If fashion-disaster daddy isn't here, I'll just have to settle for Agreste Junior! You're fired!" Style Queen said blasting Adrien causing him to turn into a gold statue horrifying everyone even Hawk Moth.
"Adrien!" Sam and Marinette gasp.
"On no, this isn't good." Plagg panics.
"Adrien!" Hawk Moth gasps. "We no longer have a choice. Style Queen, you must defeat Ladybug, Silver Claw and Cat Noir as soon as possible."
As the crowd scrambled to escape, Tom and Sabine looked around.
"Where's Marinette?" Tom asks.
"Sam! Sam where are you?!" Nick calls out while Sam slipped underneath the seats and lets out Faang.
"Wow that woman has serious issues." Faang said.
"Yeah and now it's just me and Marinette this time." Sam said gulps.
"You can do this Sam." Faang assures.
"I hope so. Faang, Teeth out!" Sam said as his bracelet glows and he transforms into Silver Claw.
Running into a dressing room, Marinette lets out Tikki.
"This Style Queen just made a huge faux pas! Tikki, Spots on!" Marinette said as her earrings glow and she transforms into Ladybug.
All around the show, Style Queen was turning everyone into statues.
"You're all fired!" Style Queen laughs when Mayor Bourgeois comes over.
"Audrey dear! Darling, sweetheart, please stop this madness." He begs.
Style Queen turns to her husband and smirks. You're fired!" She said turning him into a statue.
"Mom!" Chloe calls out getting her attention.
"Claudine, uh Chloe. I am not Mom I am Style Queen. Do you want to be fired too?" Style Queen asks raising her scepter towards Chloe.
"No, no, I really don't, Style Queen. Uh, besides, don't you need an assistant?" Chloe asks.
"Hmm I did fire my last one this morning." Style Queen said pausing to think.
Little did either of them know Ladybug and Silver Claw were sneaking in.
"She sure was useless. Utterly useless." Chloe said.
"Fine, I'll put you on trial." Style Queen said acting like her daughter was an intern.
"Hey Style Queen!" Ladybug calls out.
"Huh?" Style Queen turns only to see Silver Claw leap in next to Ladybug.
"Those outfits are atrocious, no one likes fur and that bug look is so last year." Style Queen said.
"Well good thing we know how to accessorize." Silver Claw said leaping in with his sword but the sword goes right through her. "What the?"
"Bad dog." Style Queen said punching Silver Claw in the face knocking him backwards.
She was about to attack when Ladybug threw her yoyo at her but like Silver Claw's sword it went right through her.
"You're a couple of sizes too small to beat me, Ladybug." Style Queen said firing beams at her, but Ladybug dodges them.
As Silver Claw gets up both heroes stood at opposite ends of Style Queen with weapons drawn.
Smirking Style Queen readied her scepter as Ladybug threw her yoyo but she dodges it and evades Silver Claw's swords and kicks him towards Ladybug.
Charging up Style Queen fires a powerful attack.
Using their yoyo and sword as a shield the two heroes were knocked to the ground instead of being turned to statues.
Seeing she had her chance, Style Queen was about to move in.
Gasping Chloe moved in.
"Mom! Uh I mean Style Queen!" Chloe said getting her attention. "If you want to find Gabriel Agreste, I know where he lives. You can take care these two later, they're worthless anyway."
"Hmm it's not a completely idiotic idea." Style Queen said.
Smashing her scepter to the ground, Adrien's statue is sucked inside before she turns into gold dust and flies out grabbing Chloe to take with her.
"We gotta move fast!" Ladybug said as they got up.
"I can't believe I'm saying this but I think Chloe just saved our lives." Silver Claw said as they ran out.
"Yeah she did." Ladybug said as they raced to Adrien's mansion.
At the mansion, Style Queen and Chloe arrive and search every inch of the place before landing in the main hall.
"Courtney. Uh Chloe. Where is Gabriel Agreste?" Style Queen growls raising her scepter.
"He usually never leaves his house." Chloe said quickly.
"Style Queen, he's hidden safely somewhere. Ladybug and Silver Claw are protecting him." Hawk Moth said telepathically.
"Pfft. They can hardly protect themselves." Style Queen scoffs.
"You must seize their Miraculous! If they can't save his son, then Gabriel Agreste will have to show up." Hawk Moth said.
"Don't worry, Hawk Moth, you'll get your costume jewels." Style Queen said.
As Ladybug and Silver Claw land out front Style Queen grabs Chloe and flies away as gold dust.
"Ugh not again!" Silver Claw groans.
"Can't she stand still for two seconds?" Ladybug groans as they chased Style Queen all the way to the Eiffel Tower.
At one of the top levels, Style Queen lands before slamming her scepter down making Adrien's statue reappear on a table.
"Keep this safe for me, sleeping beauty." Style Queen said putting the rose in Adrien's mouth before putting a forcefield up around him.
"You're not going to hurt my Adrikens, are you, Mom?" Chloe asks worried.
"Excuse me?" Style Queen glares.
"Uh I mean Style Queen." Chloe said when Style Queen points her scepter at her.
"You wanna join Agreste Junior, Kylie? Uh Chloe." She corrects.
"No thanks, I'm good. You're right, we don't care about him." Chloe said quickly.
"Make yourself useful, assistant, tell me if you see Ladybug, Cat Noir and Silver Claw." Style Queen orders.
"Yes Style Queen." Chloe said as Style Queen went to the top of the Eiffel Tower and almost immediately Chloe panics. "Oh, what am I gonna do, what am I gonna do?"
Arriving at the top floor, Style Queen looked down at everyone.
"Gabriel Agreste, if you refuse to show your face, your son will soon be nothing but glitter in the wind!" Style Queen declares.
Down below, Alya looks up and narrowed her eyes.
'I may not have Trixx but I can still help.' Alya thought making her way up the tower.
Up above, Chloe was hitting against the forcefield hoping to help Adrien but nothing worked.
"Oh, it doesn't break. Adrikens, wake up." Chloe said as Silver Claw and Ladybug landed nearby.
"What we need is a Catclysm." Silver Claw said.
"Agreed." Ladybug said trying to call Cat Noir. "Cat Noir, I don't know what you're doing, but there's a witch of a villain running loose and I really need you!"
Silver Claw cringed knowing very well there was no way Cat Noir would answer when Chloe heard them.
"Psst. Ladybug, Silver Claw." Chloe whispers getting their attention. "Hurry up. Adrikins is crumbling."
Looking over they saw Adrien's legs were turning to dust.
"Where's the akuma?" Silver Claw asks.
"It's in the rose she put on him. Where is Cat Noir?" Chloe asks.
"I wish I knew." Ladybug said.
"You guys better come up with something fast. My mother is going to see you." Chloe said when Style Queen materializes nearby.
"It's really impossible to find qualified staff these days. You're fired!" Style Queen said turning Chloe into a statue.
"Ladybug, Silver Claw why don't the two of you hand over that bracelet and earrings and let's get this over with." Style Queen taunts.
"Not happening!" Silver Claw said leaping above her.
While she was distracted Ladybug threw her yoyo but like last time it went through her.
"You two still don't get it, huh, fashion victim? I am INVINCIBLE!" Style Queen declares firing blasts of light forcing the two heroes to flee.
"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug throws her yoyo into the air and from it a mallet appears. "A mallet? What am I supposed to do with this?"
"Ladybug look out!" Silver Claw said pushing her out of the way.
As Ladybug looks up she sees Silver Claw slashing away Style Queen's blasts but each blast forced him closer and closer to the edge.
"Silver Claw look out!" Ladybug yells.
"Time to put this dog down!" Style Queen fires a powerful beam which sent Silver Claw flying off the Eiffel Tower and crashing into the lake near Trocadero.
"Silver Claw!" Ladybug gasps.
"One down, one to go." Style Queen said.
Ladybug looks at the mallet and realizes what it meant. "Of course." Throwing her yoyo Ladybug swings away.
"Let her go, she'll bring us Cat Noir. I need both of their Miraculous anyway." Hawk Moth orders.
"What about Silver Claw?" Style Queen asks.
"He is gravely weakened thanks to you, he won't get in the way." Hawk Moth said.
At Master Fu's place, Master Fu was sitting down when Marinette ran in.
"Master Fu, Cat Noir has disappeared and Silver Claw is hurt. I can't beat Style Queen without him! And the Lucky Charm told me to come here." Marinette said.
"Don't worry, Cat Noir is fine." Fu said not even looking at her.
"Well, what's he doing then? Why isn't he helping me?" Marinette asks.
"He's just lost his Miraculous." Fu said horrifying her.
"What?! No, this is a disaster!" Marinette whines.
"That tomcat's really gotten himself stuck up in a tree this time." Looking in front of Fu was Plagg with Cat Noir's ring eating cheese.
"Let me guess you're Cat Noir's kwami." Marinette assumes.
"Yes, he tends to copy me a bit too much. Yet, lately, he's been doing really silly things. In five thousand years I've never experienced such an irresponsible Miraculous owner. As a result, he's lost his ring and it's just me to help you two out." Plagg said causing Fu to gasp.
"No! It's out of the question, Plagg. You are way too dangerous without an owner." Fu said.
"Dangerous? Me? How so?" Plagg asks.
"Does the disappearance of Atlantis ring a bell?" Fu asks.
"I had too much cheese." Plagg said.
"The leaning Tower of Pisa?" Fu said.
"I didn't see it." Plagg said.
"Dinosaurs!" Fu said.
"Okay yeah I went too far that time. But I was young." Plagg said.
"Without an owner neither Cat Noir or Plagg can help you." Fu said as he went to get the other Miraculous.
"Wait so if I had an owner." Plagg mumbles getting an idea.
"Marinette Dupain-Cheng, pick an ally you can trust to fight alongside you on this mission. Choose wisely; such powers are meant to serve the greater good. Once the mission is over you will retrieve the Miraculous from them." Fu said as Marinette looked at all of them.
"I need someone who can actually immobilize my opponent." Marinette said.
"Do you have anyone in mind, Marinette?" Fu asks as Marinette took the Bee Miraculous.
"I know the perfect person." Marinette smiles.
Back at the Eiffel Tower, Silver Claw coughs trying to catch his breath as he climbed out of the water and laid on the ground panting.
"With a mom like that I'm starting to see why Chloe turned out the way she did." Silver Claw said.
"Wow you are one wet dog." Silver Claw looks up to see Plagg looking down at him. "Heya."
"Hey you're Cat Noir's kwami." Silver Claw said sitting up.
"Yeah but Cat Noir is a no show. That's why I need you today." Plagg said.
"What do you mean? Can't kwamis fight too?" Silver Claw asks.
"The last time I used cataclysm by myself the dinosaurs went extinct." Plagg said shocking him.
"That was you?" Silver Claw asks.
"If you ask me those things were a bunch of wusses." Plagg said brushing it off.
"But how can I help?" Silver Claw asks as Plagg put Cat Noir's ring in his hands.
"You see Silver Claw there is a special skill amoung Kwamis called Unification. By using two Miraculous at once you can take on both their powers. Faang's powers aren't enough, but if I helped we might have a chance." Plagg said.
"How do I do this?" Silver Claw asks.
"First put the ring on." Plagg said as Silver Claw put the ring on his finger. "Now say the name of your kwami and my name and then Unify. To deactivate say Divide."
Silver Claw took a deep breath. "Faang, Plagg, Unify!" Silver Claw declares as a bright light engulfs him.
As Ladybug ran across the rooftops Style Queen spotted her.
"Why, the red-spotted cockroach is coming back, but she forgot her frightful feline in black." Style Queen said.
"Cat Noir isn't here? Nevermind, catch Ladybug and make her tell you where he's hiding. I need all the Miraculous!" Hawk Moth orders.
In the tower, Alya was making her way up the tower looking for any sign of Ladybug or Silver Claw.
"Alya, don't get so close to Style Queen, it's too dangerous." Ladybug warns leaping in.
"It's hard to get a scoop when you're not in the middle of the action, Ladybug." Alya smiles when Ladybug took out the box.
"Well I have a scoop for you. Alya Cesaire, here is the Miraculous of the Bee which grants the power of subjection. You will use it for the greater good." Ladybug declares.
"Me? A Miraculous?" Alya said nervously. 'Oh man I can't take this. I'm Rena Rouge, Sam's partner, but I can't exactly turn this down either.'
Alya was about to say something when Style Queen drops in.
"Ladybug! You're out of fashion. Give up!" Style Queen said firing a beam at her.
"Watch out!" Alya pushes Ladybug out of the way turning into a statue and making Ladybug drop the Bee Miraculous down to a lower level.
"Where's Cat Noir? Oh, lemme guess. He's hiding because he's ashamed of his outfit." Style Queen smirks.
"Hardly, the dude has style." A familiar voice said.
"Huh?" Ladybug and Style Queen look up to see a figure leap in.
Landing in front of Ladybug was Silver Claw but he was different. His outfit was silver and black, he was wearing Cat Noir's mask as one eye was gold and one eyes was green, he had Cat Noir's staff as a handle for his sword and his tail was thinner and sharper.
"S-Silver Claw?" Ladybug gasps.
"Not anymore. Now I am Dark Claw!" Dark Claw said taking a fighting stance.
"That's why Cat Noir isn't here. He gave his Miraculous to Silver Claw to merge them together. Style Queen if you defeat Dark Claw we'll be getting two Miraculous for the price of one." Hawk Moth grins.
"Gladly!" Style Queen said flying in firing beams.
Eyes sharpening Dark Claw raises his sword before leaping in and slashing all the beams with ease charging towards Style Queen at an incredible speed.
"Moon Call!" Dark Claw said taking a deep breath sending a powerful sonic howl that sent Style Queen smashing into the tower. "Wow so is this what can happen if you combine Miraculous."
Growling Style Queen looks up at Dark Claw and fires beams at him.
Jumping around Dark Claw's sword extends thinking Style Queen was fine she did nothing but when the attack hit she actually skidded back in pain.
"What?!" Style Queen gasps.
"Guess my new powers are too strong for even you." Dark Claw going in on the attack forcing Style Queen to go on the defense.
"Lucky Charm!" Throwing her yoyo again this time a tube of glue appeared. "Glue?"
"Ladybug!" Dark Claw calls out.
As Dark Claw and Style Queen attacked both exchanged attacks trying to get the edge over the other while Ladybug looks around and spots the flag.
Gasping Ladybug ran to get it and sprayed glue all over it.
Dark Claw swings his sword but Style Queen leaps back allowing Ladybug to leap in.
Swinging the flag pole at her the attack goes through her causing tons of glitter to appear on the glue side.
"A glue diet? Ha! That's original. But I'm still going to—" Before Style Queen could finish she noticed a large chunk of her abdomen was missing.
"Oh, what's the matter? Do you have indigestion?" Ladybug smirks.
"How dare you!" Style Queen leaps into attack when Dark Claw moves in and knocks her back.
"Alright time to end this! Cataclysm!" Dark Claw said as dark energy surrounds his right hand and he slams it down on the Eiffel Tower but the combined strength of his and Silver Claw's energy causing the beams above them to collapse and the barrier around Adrien began to crack.
Style Queen was about to move in when a steel beam crushed her into dust.
"Amazing." Ladybug said.
"Uh you might wanna get that Akuma real quick." Dark Claw cringed.
"I think combining with Cat Noir caused you to get some of his recklessness too." Ladybug said destroying the forcefield and getting the rose.
"No!" Style Queen said when Ladybug broke the rose releasing the akuma.
"No more evil-doing for you, little Akuma. Time to de-evillize!" Ladybug threw her yoyo turning the akuma back into a butterfly. "Bye-bye little butterfly, Miraculous Ladybug!" Ladybug threw the glue into the air undoing all the damage and turning everyone including Audrey back to normal.
"What am I doing here? You're all fired." Audrey said.
"Pound it!" Ladybug and Dark Claw fist-bumped.
"Well I gotta go, gotta give Cat Noir back his kwami." Dark Claw said.
"See ya later Dark Claw. Hope we can fight again someday." Ladybug smiles.
"You never know." Dark Claw smiles leaping away.
Down below Chloe and Audrey were walking down the stairs.
"Oh, Mom. If you only knew what a great team we made. We fired a bunch of incompetent people, it was awesome. We should really spend more time together. What if I went back to New York with you?" Chloe suggests.
"Don't be ridiculous Casserole, uh Chloe. First I have to get back to Gabriel's fashion show." Audrey said causing Adrien to gasp.
"Oh, the fashion show, my father is gonna worry about me." Adrien said when Ladybug dropped in.
"It's on my way I can give you a lift if you'd like?" Ladybug offers as they swung off.
At his base, Hawk Moth was shocked by this.
"Style Queen was my greatest masterpiece. How could she have failed? How could I have failed? What should I do now?" Hawk Moth asks.
Appearing back in his study, Gabriel saw Natalie was calling him.
"Sir, you took a big risk today, especially regarding Adrien." Natalie said.
"If only I could tell Adrien why I'm doing this. He would understand." Gabriel sighs looking at the painting of his wife.
Back the Grand Palais, Dark Claw separated allowing Faang and Plagg to appear alongside him.
"Whoa, that was amazing. Cat Noir makes using Cataclysm look easy." Sam said taking off the ring.
"I can't believe you told him the power of Unification." Faang said looking at Plagg.
"What? You guys needed my help and I didn't have an owner so I found one." Plagg said as Sam gave Plagg back the ring.
"Just make sure he gets it back." Sam said.
"I will and Sam…Cat Noir is my favorite but I gotta admit Dark Claw is number 2 in my book." Plagg smiles before flying off.
Smiling Sam walks in when he saw his dad running over.
"Sam you're okay!" He smiles hugging him. "I was worried sick about you."
"Uh it's cool dad. I'm fine." Sam said as Nick let go.
"That's a huge relief. I thought I lost you back there." Nick smiles.
Smiling Sam hugged his dad back. "Don't worry Dad, I'm not going anywhere."
Nearby Adrien and Ladybug landed nearby.
"Thank you, Ladybug. For the lift and also… for saving my life." Adrien smiles.
"Well… uhm… not a mall. I mean! Not at all." Ladybug said when her earrings beeped. "Uh I better go."
As Adrien walked back inside, Ladybug hid behind a wall and turned back into Marinette.
"Marinette, aren't you forgetting something? You have to bring the Miraculous back to Master Fu." Tikki reminds.
"But the magic ladybugs already brought it back, didn't they?" Marinette asks but Tikki shook her head. "Wait you mean I lost a Miraculous?! This is bad! We have to get back to the Eiffel Tower!" Marinette ran out to get it back when she ran into her parents.
"Marinette, there you are. We've been looking for you everywhere in the Grand Palais. Are you okay, sweety?" Tom asks.
"Ah, I'm fine, thanks to Ladybug I'm no longer a glitter statue." Marinette said.
"Thank goodness for Ladybug." Sabine smiles.
"We're finally going to get to watch the fashion show and witness the success of our daughter and her amazing hat." Tom said leading them inside.
"Uh actually I uh have to…" Marinette stutters.
"No you don't. Come on! We can't miss the beginning." Tom said.
Looking to Tikki, Marinette pulls her bag in close. "Don't worry Tikki, no one will find the box. We'll get it right after the show." Marinette whispers causing Tikki to whimper.
At the Eiffel Tower, Chole and her mom were struggling to make it down all the stairs.
"Remind me to tell your father to fire the person in charge of the Eiffel Tower elevators. Unacceptable…utterly unacceptable." Audrey pants.
"Yes mother." Chloe said when she felt something on her foot.
Looking down she saw the Miraculous box that Ladybug had dropped.
Bending down Chloe picks it up interested.
Looking down she saw her mother was far ahead. Slowly Chloe opened it to reveal the Bee Kwami.
"Hello my Queen." Pollen smiles shocking Chloe.
