Chapter 55: Silencer

At Sam's home, he and his mom were in the kitchen making lunch.
"And then the guy goes on and on about how the new computer is a joke when all he had to do was plug it in." She said causing Sam to groan.
"Seriously? Wow that guy sounds like an idiot." Sam said.
"He was sweetie it really was. I swear our little computer warehouse just does not have the patience to handle tech support." She said cutting vegetables. "It's nice being able to do this, it feels like all of us are always out of the house."
"Yeah it is pretty nice mom." Sam said.
"So how are things at school? How are your friends? How are things with Alya?" Lily asks.
"Oh things are going well, I've been really helping her with her Ladyblog." Sam said.
"Oh yeah that thing where she follows everything Ladybug and Cat Noir related." Lily said.
"Don't forget Silver Claw." Sam points out.
"I tell you those three make living here so much easier. I just wish I could thank them." She said.
"Oh I think they know mom." Sam chuckles looking to Faang in his pocket when the door opens revealing his dad.
"Hey I'm still able to have lunch?" Nick asks.
"Right on time dad." Sam said as he sat down.
"So what happened?" Lily asks.
"I just spent the last hour walking this idiot client through a setup. He wants to use our latest hardware for his music studio." Nick groans.
"Really? For who?" Sam asks.
"It's Bob Ross for that teen idol X-Something." Nick said.
"XY? The DJ?" Sam said surprised.
"You know him?" He asks.
"Somewhat, I'm more of a Jagged Stone fan." Sam admits.
"I don't blame you. This kid's music sounds ridiculous." Nick said.
"This is why you two got into computers and not music." Sam said as Lily put their lunches down.
"Don't your friends have their own band?" Lily asks.
"Yeah Kitty Section. They're pretty good." Sam said.
"Well maybe if they need tech support you can help them." Nick chuckles.
"Tech support? That's the lamest job in the tech." Sam groans causing his parents to laugh.
Meanwhile at the Le Grand Paris hotel, Mayor Andre was walking with Bob and the DJ XY.
"My good old friend Bob. How wonderful to see you. And you've brought little Xavier-Yves with you, too." Andre said pinching his cheek.
Narrowing his eyes, XY pushes the hand away. "Uh, my peeps call me XY, if you don't mind, Mr. Mayor. Xavier-Yves is way too—"
"XY! Of course! The famous DJ XY! It's an honor for the palace to receive such a fantastic artist and his father." Andre said as they sat down.
"Does that mean dinner's on the house, then?" Bob asks causing him to stutter. "I'm joking." Bob laughs.
"You're too much, Bob. Always the comedian. Enjoy your meal. Bon appetite!" Andre said walking away.
"I tried." Bob said looking to XY. "Okay, we need to talk about this special TV appearance you're going to be making. You know, this'll be a major promotional event for you. You got any new material to premiere? New ideas?"
"Course not, Dad. You know I never have any ideas." XY said causing them both to laugh.
"So let me hear what you've ripped- er, what you've come up with this year." Bob corrects as XY took out a laptop and played some music until Bob signaled for him to stop. "Isn't it a bit similar to what you were doing last year?"
Looking to his last year's hit, XY plays it seeing it was similar. "Oh, yeah. Guess I ripped off my own music." XY said as they laughed again.
"Never mind. No one will know the difference anyway. Image is key. What kind of visuals you got going? Any concepts?" Bob asks.
"Any what?" XY asks.
"Forget it. I'll use the same plan that's made me the rich man I am today. If you're short on great ideas, borrow someone else's." Bob said.
The next day at school, Marinette, Luka, Juleka, Rose, Sam and Ivan were watching an ad on Marinette's phone.
"We're looking for new talent. Stunning musical and visual skills are a must. With a brand-new style that everyone will die for. You have two weeks to send in your videos." Bob said.
"It's a perfect opportunity to showcase Kitty Section." Marinette said.
"And the stage clothes you designed, Marinette." Luka said causing her to blush.
"If we all pitch in, two weeks is more than enough time to make an awesome video. Sam can you help us? We could really use your expertise to help with all the tech." Marinette asks.
"Sure, why not?" Sam nods.
"Everyone in?" Rose asks as they put their hands together.
"Kitty Section!" They all cheered.
As the two weeks passed by Kitty Section worked hard on their music, Marinette designed the costumes and Sam helped make the video.
By the end, it turned out pretty well.
At the houseboat, Kitty Section was rehearing.
"Whoo! Way to go!" Sam applauds.
"This is so awesome! We're so in the moment. The song's fun and totally sincere." Luka said looking over to see Marinette was looking at her phone. "Hey, Marinette. Still no news about the contest?"
"What if they didn't like our song?" Marinette asks.
"It's a big contest Marinette. These things take time." Sam said.
"They must've received a ton of videos. They probably haven't made their pick yet." Luka assumes.
"Uh guys, you might want to see this." Ivan said getting their attention.
Looking out the window they saw XY on the jumbo screen wearing a cardboard version of the Kitty Section uniforms doing their song.
"Uh you guys see this too, right?" Sam said with wide eyes.
"Unfortunately." Marinette gulps.
"Wow! Lovin' the new look, XY! You've really outdone yourself this time. How did you come up with a style that's so...original?" Alec said.
"It's all in here." XY said pointing to his head.
"But that's our original style!" Ivan said outraged.
"That's your unicorn and your mask." Luka said looking at Marinette.
"That's your melody. It's your music. That's not fair! That should be you guys up there on TV. There better be a good explanation. We have to have it out with Bob Roth and XY." Marinette said.
However when they arrived security stopped them.
"Sorry they're not here." Security said.
"Yes they are, we see them right there on Live screen." Sam said pointing to the screen above them.
"You're not allowed in. You don't have an invitation and the show already started." One guard said.
"But it's our show!" Marinette said.
"Not our problem miss." The second guard said.
Looking to each other, Marinette and Luka smirk.
Soon Ivan was wearing his Kitty Section uniform and roaring in anger chasing Rose and Juleka.
"Help! Our friend's been akumatized! Ladybug, Silver Claw and Cat Noir aren't here to save us! Quick!" Rose screams.
"Stop messing around kids. It's not gonna work." One guard said.
"We've got work to do, so get out of here and go watch the show at home. " The other said neither one noticing Sam, Marinette and Luka sneak by.
Entering the studio they see XY's performance.
"Wow! Awesome, XY! Such a 180 from your last record! This might be your best yet! So tell me, where did you get the inspiration for all this new material?" Alec asks.
"Oh, it's nothing really. I came up with the whole song in 5 minutes." XY said.
"In 5 minutes? He couldn't even sing it the way it's supposed to be sung." Luka growls.
"That idiot doesn't even know how to setup all that tech in 5 minutes." Sam said.
"And his mask isn't even a good rip-off." Marinette said when she noticed Bob and approached him. "Mr. Roth! My name's Marinette Dupain-Cheng. I'm the one who sent you the Kitty Section video."
"Video? What video? I don't know what you're talking about, kid." Bob denies.
"Well let us refresh your memory." Sam said as Marinette took out her phone.
"The costumes, the mask, the music, the dance moves. They're all the same!" Marinette said.
"here's no comparison. This here is some amateur garage band. My son is a solo artist. You guys play instruments, his music is all digital. Our unicorn is much cooler, and our masks are nothing like yours." Bob points out.
"That's not true! You copied Marinette's costumes!" Luka said.
"And it's the exact same song. You stole Luka's music!" Marinette said.
"Not to mention we still have your confirmation email we got for the submission." Sam said taking Marinette's phone to show the email. "That video and the material on it are property of Kitty Section."
"Oh, come on. Let's not exaggerate now. We may have just been a little bit... inspired, that's all." XY said.
"Inspired? You flat out stole." Luka said taking the mask off his head. "You didn't design this mask! Marinette did!"
"And like you actually know how to use your tech. My parents made that hardware they talk you through an update. You're not even good with a computer." Sam mocks.
"Hardware? Your folks designed that piece of junk? Well give them a review, tell them to do a better job." Bob said.
"Why you." Sam was about to go at him when Marinette and Luka stop him.
"Listen, it's not too late to do the right thing. Just tell the truth and let Kitty Section appear on the show. That's all we're asking." Marinette said.
"Yeah. First they'll wanna be in the show. Then they'll be asking for a cut of the profits. No way! Never saw or heard of Kitten Division." Bob said.
"Come on, he's not worth it." Luka said talking them down.
"No! It's not fair! I won't stand by and let my friends' work get stolen. If you won't tell the truth, then I will! Right now, on the air, live." Marinette said heading to the camera but Bob grabbed her arm stopping her.
"If you do that, I'll tell them you're the copycats, not me. I've got all the music biz eating out of my hand. So who do you think they're gonna believe? Me, or a group of nobodies?" Bob asks.
"Oh he is the worst." Sam growls along with Luka.
"You'll never have a future in this business. You'll never make another costume. And there'll be no more music for your buddies because as far as everyone's concerned, you'll be the rip-off artists." Bob declares pointing at Marinette causing Luka to tighten his fist in anger.
At his base, Hawk Moth saw everything.
"Ah. I'm detecting the echo of a very rare emotion. The anger of a creator whose work has been stolen. Who also cannot bear to see the one he loves suffer." Hawk Moth said turning a butterfly into an akuma. "Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize this pure soul."
Flying out the window, the akuma flew to the music studio.
"Not so cocky now are you?" Bob mocks.
Marinette growls in anger when Sam moved in to try and help.
Flying to Luka, the akuma entered his mask.
"Silencer, I am Hawk Moth. This man is the voice of evil. I'm giving you the power to silence him for good. All I ask of you in return are Ladybug, Silver Claw and Cat Noir's Miraculous. Do we have an agreement, Silencer?" Hawk Moth asks telepathically.
Growling Luka put the mask on his face.
"I'll take your silence as a yes." Hawk Moth grins as Luka was akumatized.
"You have no talent whatsoever. You're a joke." Sam insults.
"No talent? You have any idea how long it took me to copy all this?" XY asks.
"Can I hit him?" Sam asks turning to Marinette.
Before Marinette could answer, Silencer walks up to him. He had brilliant cobalt blue skin, vivid emerald green eyes and he wears a brilliant purple, vivid yellow, brilliant gold, and moderate heliotrope, and black bodysuit with a jagged mouth on his helmet.
Putting his finger to XY's lips and shushes him.
Seconds later a floating blob containing XYs voice flew out scaring everyone.
"What is that?!" Bob panics hiding behind Marinette.
XY tried to speak but no words came out of his mouth.
Opening his helmet the blob entered Silencer's helmet before he turned to Marinette.
"Don't worry, Marinette. I would never hurt you. I will use the power Hawk Moth has given me to restore justice. I will force Bob Roth to admit what he has done to you and Kitty Section." Silencer said talking with his hand in XY's voice.
"Don't do that, Luka. That's revenge, not justice. And if you team up with Hawk Moth, you'll have to face Cat Noir, Silver Claw and Ladybug." Marinette warns.
" Where were they when we needed them? As now, Silencer is laying down the law of silence." Silencer said when Sam moved in.
"Please don't do this." Sam said.
"I'm sorry my friend but I have to." Silencer said before shoving Sam sending him crashing into some equipment.
"Sam!" Marinette gasps.
"Don't worry, I didn't hurt him too much. He'll be fine and so will you." Silencer said turning to her. "You're the most extraordinary girl, Marinette. Clear as a musical note and as sincere as a melody. You're the music that's been playing inside my head since the day we first met. I won't let anything happen to you."
"Whoa." Sam said picking himself. "Didn't see that coming."
"Wha-Wha What?" Marinette blushes as Silencer ran out.
Running into the bathroom, Marinette let out Tikki.
"Did that sound like a declaration of love to you?" Tikki asks.
"I think so. Which is kind of weird coming from a villain." Marinette said.
"Perhaps Luka feels the same way." Tikki suggests.
"You think?" Marinette asks excited before fixing herself. "Uh I mean stay focused. Tikki, Spots on!" Marinette said as her earrings glowed and she transformed into Ladybug.
In a janitor's closet, Sam let Faang out.
"Wow, Marinette is really popular. Adrien and Luka? How long before she charms you?" Faang jokes.
"Maybe in another world Faang, but not this one." Sam said.
"Hey when you have a Miraculous you'd be surprised how many people can become interested in you." Faang said.
"Can we discuss love lives later? I always thought Luka was one of the calm ones." Sam said.
"Everyone has a breaking point, even you." Faang said.
"Fair enough. Time for this wolf to step into the spotlight. Faang, Teeth Out!" Sam said as his bracelet glowed and he transformed into Silver Claw.
Running onto the roof, Bob was corned as Silencer followed him.
"You can't get away from me, Bob Roth. I will make you tell the truth, live on TV." Silencer said.
Startled Bob falls backwards. "Don't touch me! I'm warning you! I'm well-connected. One call to Mr. Bourgeois...and he'll bring the police for me. The whole army if he has to!" Bob threatens.
Shushing him, Silencer holds his fingers out when a yoyo stops him.
"I can't let you do this, Silencer." Ladybug said jumping in front of Bob.
"It's about time. Get to work!" Bob said pushing her towards Silencer.
He was about to attack when a sword was pointed at him.
Turning around Silencer saw Silver Claw pointing his sword at him.
"Not another step Silencer." Silver Claw said.
"Listen, Luka— er, Silencer. You don't know what you're doing. Hawk Moth is evil. You think you're using your power for good but you're wrong." Ladybug said.
Elbowing Silver Claw, Silencer catches his sword and attacks Ladybug.
Using her yoyo she deflects the attacks. Elbowing Silencer she makes him drop the sword but that leaves her open to kick.
Silver Claw leaps in but Silencer dodges and kicks him in the gut knocking him against a billboard.
"Come on! Stop mincing around and protect me!" Bob grabs Ladybug and uses her as a human shield making Silencer touch her lips when he shushes her, Silver Claw looks to see Ladybug's voice leave her.
"You're a piece of garbage you know that!" Silver Claw yells as Bob ran to a service elevator.
"Sorry, Ladybug. Occupational hazard, I guess. No hard feelings? Bye!" Bob said going down.
"You shouldn't have stood in my way, Ladybug." Silencer said in Ladybug's voice.
Ladybug tried to use her lucky charm but nothing happened.
"Oh no, you need your voice to use your Lucky Charm. Without it you can't do anything." Silver Claw realized horrifying her.
"And now for you." Silencer said in Ladybug's voice before attacking Silver Claw.
"Moon Call!" Releasing a Sonic Wave, Silver Claw blasts Silencer through the door and down the stairs. "We need to regroup. I need to recharge, you go find Cat Noir."
Nodding both heroes ran in different directions.
Jumping down into an alley, Silver Claw turned into Sam.
"When this is over, I'm telling Mom and Dad to cancel their deal with that asshole." Sam said giving Faang jerky.
"Tell me about, using Ladybug as a human shield. Part me thinks we should just give him to Silencer." Faang said taking a big bite.
"Don't tempt me. I hope we can figure out a plan now that Ladybug can't talk. There's no way I can use my Moon Call if Silencer gets me too." Sam said worried.
Recovering from the attack, Silencer ran back up to see the heroes were gone.
"Silencer don't let them get away." Hawk Moth said.
"Don't worry, Hawk Moth. Now that I've got Ladybug's voice, I have a plan to get ahold of her, Silver Claw and Cat Noir's Miraculous, but first, Revenge." Silencer said going after Bob.
At Adrien's house, Adrien was practicing the piano while Plagg was channel surfing when he spotted Silencer through the window.
"Adrien, come see this." Plagg said.
"What is it?" Adrien asks when he sees Ladybug following after him. "Ladybug?"
"Looks like we got a problem." Plagg said.
"Plagg, Claws out!" Adrien said as his ring glowed and he transformed into Cat Noir.
On the rooftops, Silencer looked out at City Hall.
"Where are you hiding, Bob Roth? You're definitely good at hiding. But you won't get away from me. I've got plans for you, too." Silencer said before heading towards City Hall.
Popping her head out, Ladybug was watching him.
Taking out her yoyo she tried sending a message to Cat Noir when he jumped in startling her.
"I'm right here milady." Cat Noir said getting her message. "I'm here now so fil me in."
"Sadly not possible." Silver Claw said landing nearby.
"What do you mean?" Cat Noir asks as Ladybug sent him a message. "Of course, I should've thought of that." Cat Noir said getting another one. "Hey that's not very nice."
"Which way did he go?" Silver Claw asks as Ladybug points to City Hall.
"Let's go! We'll get your voice back and talk ourselves out of this mess!" Cat Noir was about to run off when Ladybug grabs his tail stopping him.
"Whoa kitty hang on. We have a problem." Silver Claw said.
"What?" Cat Noir asks.
"If Ladybug can't talk she can't use Lucky Charm and no Lucky Charm means no Miraculous Ladybug." Silver Claw points.
"Ah, you've definitely got a point there. The magic ladybugs won't be able to fix up all the damage caused by Silencer." Cat Noir realized when Ladybug sent them both another message.
"And you can't say the detransformation words? Which means you'll be a mute Ladybug for the rest of your life?" Silver Claw read as Ladybug nods.
"Oh man that's not good." Silver Claw cringed.
"But it has its advantages in a way. Now you'll never be able to pick on my jokes." Cat Noir smirks.
Narrowing her eyes, Ladybug tosses her yoyo up and bonks him on the head.
"No but she can still that." Silver Claw laughs.
"I'm kidding, Milady. Don't worry, you always get us out of the worst fixes." Cat Noir said as she took off. "Meanwhile I'll babble to my heart's content."
"Are you punishing her or me?" Silver Claw asks as they followed after her.
Meanwhile at Nova Tech, Sam's parents were hard at work when the door swings open revealing Bob.
"Oh Mr. Ross, sorry but we haven't finished the hardware yet." Nick said.
"Forget your stupid hardware. You have a back exit anywhere?" Bob orders.
"Yeah in the warehouse, but that's for Employee's only." Lily said when Bob took out his phone and ran to the back.
"Andre? Andre, it's me! I need you to send in the troops." Bob said.
"No problem, Bob. I'll take care of it. Where are you?" Andre asks.
"I'm at that dumb new tech place. Uh Nova." Bob said looking at some display items. "I can't believe I actually work with these people. This stuff is junk."
Little did he know Sam's parents were seeing all this on the security cameras.
On the other line we look to see Mayor Bourgeois tied up and Silencer was using his voice.
"Don't worry, I'll send the police in right away." Silencer hangs up and dials another number. "Mayor Bourgeois here. Get me Officer Roger."
Outside City Hall, the three heroes land on the rooftops.
"Maybe I could imitate your voice? Lucky Charm, Lucky Charm, Lucky Charm, Lucky Charm." Cat Noir said imitating Ladybug causing Silver Claw to laugh until he noticed Ladybug glaring at them.
"Uh…not funny Cat Noir." Silver Claw gulps.
Suddenly Ladybug got an idea and tried miming it for them.
"Uh cat got your tongue?" Cat Noir asks but she shook her head.
"Uh night at the opera?" Silver Claw guesses.
Groaning Ladybug sent them both a message to read.
"Y ou want to make Silencer say the words Lucky Charm with the voice he stole from you?" Cat Noir read. "Very smart."
"Uh how are you gonna trick him into doing that?" Silver Claw asks when Ladybug sent them another message. "Are you insane?" He gasps.
"It'll never work." Cat Noir said when she sent them one more. "But she's right, we don't have any other choice." Cat Noir sighs.
Suddenly Silencer exits City Hall with the three heroes right behind him.
At Nova, Officer Roger arrives and Bob immediately runs out.
"Thank you, Officer Roger. Thanks for looking out for your fellow citizens." Bob smiles when Roger slaps some handcuffs on him.
"Mr. Roth you're under arrest." Roger declares shocking him.
"What? No! Mr and Mrs. Noctis you know me! Tell him it's a misunderstand!" Bob orders.
"Sorry Bob, but what can owners of a piece junk tech company possibly do?" Lily shrugs making him gasp.
"Yeah turns out our security cameras work pretty well." Nick said as Roger took him away.
Taking him to the TV Studio, Roger pulls Bob out of the car.
"Where are you taking me?" Bob asks.
"Mayor's orders." Roger said walking into the elevator.
"Mr. Bourgeois and I have been friends for a very long time and—" As Bob tried to excuse himself Roger took out his phone.
"Yes, we're nearly there, Mr. Mayor. "Roger said when the door opens revealing Silencer.
"Thank you Officer." Silencer said in Andre's voice.
"Who are you?" Roger gasps when Silencer shushes him and absorbs his voice.
Turning to Bob, Silencer grabs him and drags him out of the elevator.
"Let me go!" Bob orders.
"I can take your voice, Bob Roth, and make you say whatever I please. But that's not what I want. I want you to admit what you did to Marinette and her friends with your own voice." Silencer said in Roger's voice.
"Never! I'd rather be silent!" Bob refuses.
"You really think I can't make you? Listen, I can ruin your reputation just like you threatened to do with Marinette." Silencer said in Ladybug's voice. "Everyone in showbiz knows me. I'll make sure you lose every single one of your friends." He said in the mayor's voice. "I'll put you in prison." He said using Roger's voice. "I'll never sing for you, Dad. You'll never make another dime from my music." He said in XY's voice. "We'll make your life a nightmare." Silencer said using all the voices.
"Wait, stop! Okay, I'll do it! I'll tell the truth!" Bob said not being able to take it anymore.
In the recording studio, Silencer pointed a camera at Bob.
"Dear viewers, we're back on the air for an exclusive interview with Bob Roth. He has something very important." Silencer said using Alec's voice.
Just outside the door, the three heroes ran in to see the recording on screen.
"There he is." Silver Claw said.
Ladybug was about to enter when Cat Noir stops them.
"Hold on guys. It might be too early to pull off your crazy plan. We could wait for Bob Roth to actually tell the truth. Then justice would be served for Kitty Section, wouldn't it? " Cat Noir suggests.
"As much as I want to, I don't think I can go through with this." Silver Claw said thinking about all the crap Bob's pulled. "And I really want to."
Taking out her yoyo, Ladybug sends them both a message.
"It would be revenge, not justice. And being coerced into telling the truth is meaningless." Silver Claw read.
"You're right Milady. You're not much fun but you do have a point. We have to save him. "Cat Noir said as they burst in.
"Come on!" Silver Claw said as Silencer turned to see him and Cat Noir going on the attack.
"We got all the time in the world! We might as well have a bit of fun!" Cat Noir said.
Dodging his attacks, Silencer moves towards Silver Claw.
"Moon C—" Before Silver Claw could howl Silencer shushes him and steals his voice.
"Sorry but I'm not falling for that move twice in one day." Silencer said in Silver Claw's voice.
Glaring Silver Claw attacks Silencer and knocks him to the ground.
Using this chance Ladybug grabbed Bob and ran out.
"Man this guys is annoying." Cat Noir said but Silver Claw just looked at him. "And now I'm the only one who can talk. Cool No one to tell me to shut up." He smiles.
Narrowing his eyes Silver Claw bonks him on the head.
"Right, right, focus on the fight." Cat Noir said when Silencer noticed Bob was gone.
"Where'd he go?" Silencer gasps.
Looking to the door, he ran out looking for him.
In the dressing room, Ladybug yanks Bob inside.
"You're gonna have to do better than that, Ladybug, if you're gonna defeat this supervillain. Isn't that you, Silver Claw and Cat Noir's job?" Bob asks as Ladybug went to the table and made the lamp into a fake lucky charm. "This is all that band's fault those Kitty what-ya-ma-callits. None of this would've happened if they hadn't made a fuss about their so-called ideas. And seriously Mary and Nick Noctis totally overreacted back there. So I called their tech junk, who hasn't?" Bob goes on causing Ladybug to roll her eyes.
In the hallway, Cat Noir and Silver Claw faked being worried.
"Oh, no! I can't find Ladybug anywhere! How will we ever get out of this mess without her?" Cat Noir asks as Silver Claw shrugs.
Hearing this Silencer got an idea.
"Cat Noir, Silver Claw over here!" He said in Ladybug's voice.
"Milady. If you've gotten your voice back, then you've defeated Silencer! It's safe to come and find you!" Cat Noir calls out.
"Yes, yes, there's no danger now. Meet me outside the studio. I'll wait for you." Silencer said.
"Okay, we'll meet outside the studio door! Hopefully, you found Silver Claw's voice too!" Cat Noir calls out.
Hearing this Bob facepalmed. "You've got to be the dumbest superheroes ever! How could you let the bad guy in on your plan? And what's with this fake Lucky Charm? I thought it was supposed to be magic or something, but it's actually just some crafty special effects."
Finally having enough, Ladybug put the lamp down and grabbed some tape.
In the hallway, Ladybug ran out to join Silver Claw and Cat Noir.
"You took your time. Did something hold you up?" Cat Noir asks as Ladybug nods.
As they ran to the studio, Silencer jumps out in front of them.
"Ha, ha! You thought you had us, didn't you, Silencer? But you're wrong! Ladybug still has her superpowers." Cat Noir said as Ladybug showed him the lamp.
"That's impossible! I took your voice from you! How could you possibly have summoned up your Lucky Charm?" Silencer said using Ladybug's voice allowing her to use the real Lucky Charm and created a vacuum.
Raising an eyebrow Silver Claw wasn't so sure about this.
"How is this any different than the lamp? At least you have a real lucky charm now." Cat Noir asks equally confused.
Drawing his staff, Cat Noir whacks Silencer into the studio.
As he tried to get up, Silver Claw tackles him to the ground and pins him.
Looking around Ladybug saw some objects and smiled getting an idea.
Whistling Ladybug gestures to Cat Noir's belt.
"All yours Milady." Cat Noir throws it to her allowing her to strap the vacuum to her back.
"Cataclysm!" With a glowing ring, Cat Noir attacks Silencer, but at the last second, he broke out of Silver Claw's hold and shushes him stealing Cat Noir's voice.
However before he could absorb it, Ladybug turned on the vaccum and sucked it up.
Using this opening Silver Claw punches Silencer in the face knocking him to the ground.
Moving in Silver Claw pins Silencer allowing Cat Noir to use Cataclysm on his helmet destroying it and releasing all the voices and the akuma.
Using the vaccum, Ladybug managed to get all the voices including hers.
Grabbing her voice, Ladybug swallows it allowing her to talk again.
"No more evil doing for you, little akuma! Time to de-evilize!" Ladybug throws her yoyo and captures the akuma and turns it back into a butterfly. "Gotcha! Bye, bye, little butterfly."
As both boys turned to her gesturing to give them their voices back she giggles.
"You're right, this does have its advantages." Ladybug smirks causing both to glare at her. "Miraculous Ladybug!" Throwing the vacuum into the air she undoes all the damages and gives everyone back their voices.
"Much better." Cat Noir said.
"I am not a fan of the silent treatment." Silver Claw smiles as Silencer turns back into Luka.
"What happened?" Luka asks.
"You were akumatized. But everything's fine now." Ladybug said when the door opens revealing Bob taped to a rolling chair.
"Oh my god." Silver Claw snickers.
"This is outrageous, Ladybug! You tied me up and imprisoned me in a dressing room!" Bob said furious.
"Me? I did that? That doesn't sound like me at all." Ladybug said when Bob noticed Luka.
"The ladybug, wolf and cat got you. Serves you right! What did you think, kid? That I was going to tell everybody the truth? That I stole Kitty Section's song and your girlfriend's costumes, so I could give them to my talentless son? You didn't think that superheroes would come to save me, huh? That's right! They work for me now!" Bob laughs but Ladybug and Luka just smiled. "What's up with you guys? Why are you all smiling like that?"
"We're smiling because you're on the air, Mr. Roth." Ladybug points revealing Silver Claw turned the camera on and Cat Noir was pointing it at him.
"Everything you just said was broadcasted live." Silver Claw smirks.
"Eh heh heh heh heh. Precisely! It was all just a big joke! I actually happen to love the band Kitten Division! In fact, I love them so much that I was about to sign them to their first record deal! And now, they're going to finish off this show with their very own song! I didn't mention it earlier, to keep it a surprise! But it was my idea from the start!" Bob said quickly.
"This guy is garbage made flesh." Silver Claw said.
"We usually save the good guys from the baddies, but I've got my doubts about this one. You sure he hasn't been akumatized?" Cat Noir asks.
"Nope. He's like that all the time." Ladybug said as her earrings beeped. "Gotta go! I'm about to transform back. See you soon, my kitty."
"I love when she calls me that." Cat Noir sighs.
"Come on you." Silver Claw said as they ran out as well.
At his base, Hawk Moth was angered by another failure.
"You broke the laws of silence, Ladybug. But I'm preparing an act of vengeance for you that will leave you speechless." Hawk Moth declares.
Back at the TV Studio, Kitty Section was preparing to perform.
"So you guys are actually gonna work with Bob?" Sam asks.
"Actually no, right before we all got here, we were approached by a sponsor who has agreed to help us out." Luka said.
"Sponsor?" Sam asks when his parents walked in.
"You kids ready?" Nick asks.
"Mom? Dad?" Sam said surprised.
"They called us after the whole fiasco and offered to help us out. They even agreed to put our songs on all their devices." Luka said.
"Wow I didn't know you guys were into music." Sam said.
"Not as much as you kids, but they're your friends and you spend a lot of time helping them." Nick said.
"Plus we like to think of this as our special little screw you to Bob." Lily smiles.
"You got some pretty amazing folks Sam." Luka said.
"Yeah I really do." Sam smiles hugging them both.
"Teach that guy for calling our hard work junk." Nick chuckles.
"And now, please welcome the next big thing in town: Kitty Section!" Alec declares as Juleka, Rose and Ivan walked up while Sam and his parents went behind the cameras.
As Luka was about to go on stage, Marinette grabs his hand.
"Luka? Did you really mean those things you said when you were akumatized?" Marinette asks.
"I'm sorry, Marinette, but I don't remember. What did I say?" Luka asks.
"Uh, oh, nothing. It was nothing at all. You were possessed by Hawk Moth's akuma." Marinette
"I don't know what I possibly could've said. I just hope it wasn't anything mean. Because you're the most extraordinary girl, Marinette. As clear as a musical note and as sincere as a melody. You're the music that's been playing inside my head since the first day we met." Luka declares before walking to the stage.
"That was a declaration of love. Right, Tikki?" Marinette blushes.
"One of the most beautiful ones I've ever heard." Tikki said.
Little did both of them know Sam heard it too.
'Whoa, guess Adrien has some competition.' Sam thought as the band was starting up.
