Chapter 56: Oblivio
Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter. I'm so sorry this one took me so long to do, it was a tricky one but I think I made it work. I hope you like what I have planned. Please Review and Enjoy.
We find ourselves in an elevator where Ladybug slowly wakes up.
Looking around confused she notices some pictures drawn in lipstick were on the wall that looked like a turtle.
Confused she notices she was holding a tube of lipstick in her hand.
"What happened?" Yelping startled she turns around to see Cat Noir behind her. "Who are you?"
"I'm uh I-I don't know. I don't remember my own name." As Ladybug puts a hand to her shoulder.
"Me neither." As Cat Noir puts a hand to his head and tries to think he looks down to see their superhero outfits. "Looks like you and I were at the same costume party."
Ladybug looks at herself confused when both their ring and earring bling.
"Why is that flashing?" Ladybug points.
"And your earrings, too. We must shop at the same jewelry store." Cat Noir said.
"Are we supposed to know each other?" Ladybug asks.
"I'd be surprised if we weren't." Cat Noir said as both transformed into Marinette and Adrien and Tikki and Plagg appear on the ground.
"Aah! There are giant bugs! Mice? Bug-Mice?" Marinette panics running to Adrien.
"Woah, I am starving right now." Plagg groans waking up.
"Hi there." Adrien said picking him up. "What are you exactly? Genies, like the one in the lamp?"
"If I'm a genie, where's my lamp? Besides, where am I? And who are you?" Plagg asks.
"What's that thing doing in my earring?" Marinette asks pointing at Tikki.
"I'm not a thing I'm…I don't know what I am, but I am very hungry." Tikki said holding her stomach.
"Aw you poor little…no thing." Marinette said making Tikki sad.
"Okay everyone we're gonna keep our cool here. We've all lost our memories and we don't know why but we'll find—" Adrien lists when Faang and Trixx flew in holding their Miraculous.
"We found you." Faang smiles.
"There's more of them?" Marinette gasps when the elevator lurched downwards making the two kwamis drop their Miraculous.
"Quick grab them!" Trixx panics.
Not sure what to do, Marinette grabs the Wolf Miraculous and puts it on her arm while Adrien puts the Fox Miraculous around his neck making both kwamis go to their current owners.
"What is going on?" Marinette asks.
"Trouble, we can't stay here." Faang said.
Looking up they saw something smashing against the roof leaving dents.
"We can't stay here." Marinette said.
"Couldn't agree more." Adrien said as they both ran to pry the elevator door open.
"Perhaps we should help them." Tikki suggests.
"Well, I'm not going anywhere until I know what smells so good in that boy's shirt." Plagg said when Trixx bonks him on the back of the head.
"Help him!" She orders.
"Ow. Alright, alright." Plagg said as the 4 kwamis flew through the doors. "We seem to be exceptional beings, unlike them."
"Hang on I'll get you guys out." Faang flew into the elevator switched and opened the doors allowing Marinette and Adrien to exit.
"Thank you." Marinette said as Adrien grabbed her hand and they ran out just as the ceiling collapsed.
As the door closed, they saw a figure in the dust before they ran out.
Running down the hall they see the room was totally destroyed with tons of rubble blocking the exit.
"The exit is blocked." Adrien said.
"We're gonna have to find another way out." Marinette said when they heard banging from inside the elevator. "Fast!"
"This way!" Grabbing Marinette's hand, Adrien led her into a bathroom.
"Okay. We're stuck in the building with amnesia being chased by a—a thing that's obviously got it in for us big time." Marinette said.
"Not to mention the two strange creatures who magically appeared when our costumes disappeared. And the other two who showed up with new jewelry for us." Adrien gestures.
Faang was about to answer when Plagg cuts him off. "Uh excuse me but the creatures are hungry. Would you mind opening up your shirt to see what smells so good?" Plagg asks.
Reaching into his jacket, Adrien pulls out a chunk of cheese.
"Camembert?" Adrien asks confused while Plagg flew in and snatched it.
"It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." Plagg said eating it whole.
Holding her stomach, Tikki began to get hungry.
Reaching into her bag, Marinette pulls out a macaroon. "Will this do?"
"Mm thank you." Tikki said taking it.
"Sorry I don't have anything for you two." Marinette said.
"It's fine, we're not hungry." Fangg said as Marinette felt around and pulled out her student ID. "Marinette! My name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng!"
"A pleasure to meet you Marinette." Adrien bows making her giggle. Feeling around Adrien pulls out his ID. "Adrien Agreste."
"Super nice to meet you too, Adrien." Marinette curtsied making him laugh.
"If they could see this now." Faang chuckles.
"I know my owner would love this." Trixx chuckles.
"So who are you two?" Marinette asks.
"I'm Faang and this is Trixx." Faang introduced.
"And the ones next to us are Tikki and Plagg." Trixx points.
"Are those our names?" Plagg asks.
"They just said that." Tikki deadpans.
Looking around clues, Marinette pulls out her phone and smiles.
"We still have our phones." Marinette points out.
Taking them both out both teens are disappointed to see they were password protected.
Suddenly they heard a loud thud startling them.
Slowly peeking her head through the door Tikki gasps coming back in.
"The thing's coming this way!" Tikki panics.
Quickly running into a stall, they close the door.
"We need to find a way out of this building!" Marinette said.
"And we will, until then." Adrien said as both reached for the doorknob and when their hands met in the middle they both blushed slightly and looked away.
However, that cute moment was ruined when the mysterious villain kicks the bathroom door open.
"What do we do?" Adrien asks when Marinette shushes him.
As the villain kicks down the stall doors trying to find them Marinette points to something so by the time the villain arrives at their stall Adrien, Marinette and the kwamis were already in the vents.
"We will get you!" The villain calls out.
"Wow, Marinette. You seem like someone who always has the right idea at the right time." Adrien said impressed.
"I hope you're right." Marinette said as they continued crawling through.
Coming out the end, Adrien pushed it open and climbed down.
Holding out his arms to help Marinette she climbs down but trips and lands on top of him.
"Uh you two want us to give you some privacy." Faang teases making them scramble to get off each other.
"How can you two enjoy this?" Plagg asks.
"Oh we have plenty of reasons too." Trixx giggles thinking how their original owners would react to this.
"I suggest we go upstairs." Adrien said leading them up.
"But there's no way up there. We'll get trapped again." Marinette said as Adrien led them into an empty office area.
"We can hide out here while we signal for help." Adrien said.
"Good idea." Marinette said as she ran to the window to see tons of cars outside the building but she couldn't open it. "Ugh no handle and the glass is tinted. They won't be able to see us."
Going to a desk, Adrien picks up the phone only to hear no dial tone.
"Phone lines are down. If only I could unlock my phone." Adrien sighs looking at his phone.
"Wait." Getting an idea, Marinette walked over to him and blows on his phone revealing finger patterns for the password. "Nice work Marinette. But wait who do we call?"
"I'm almost out of battery." Marinette said unlocking her phone.
"Me too. We should probably call our parents first." Adrien said scrolling through it. "Gabriel Agreste…probably my dad." Adrien dials the number.
"This is Gabriel Agreste's voicemail. To leave a message, please call my secretary." The voicemail said.
"Agreste, Cesaire, Noctis, hmm I call these two a lot maybe I should try them." Marinette said.
"Uh I wouldn't." Faang said nervously.
"Yeah you might have better luck with your folks." Trixx said equally nervous.
"Aha Dupain-Cheng, Sabine." Marinette smiles dialing her mother.
"Marinette, are you okay? They're saying on TV that Ladybug and Cat Noir are battling a supervillain at the Montparnasse Tower! Isn't that where you were going on your school trip today?" Sabine asks.
However, Marinette's attention was focused on a poster of Ladybug, Cat Noir and Silver Claw from their movie.
"Cat Noir and Ladybug?" Marinette said surprised.
"Marinette, is everything okay? Where are you?" Sabine asks.
"Uh, sure, Mom, everything's okay. I'm with my friend, safe. Don't worry." Marinette said much to Adrien's confusion but she held up her hand telling him to wait.
"I'm so relieved! Whatever you do, stay there until the supervillain's been defeated. Hopefully, Silver Claw can't be too far behind." Sabine said.
"Yeah me too, love you." Marinette said hanging up.
"Why didn't you ask her for help?" Adrien asks.
"I have both good news and bad news. The good news is: there are superheroes in the tower that will stop that supervillain. The bad news is: we're the superheroes! And the thing that's chasing us is the supervillain! And we're supposed to be defeating it with superpowers we no longer have!" Marinette panics.
"Eh what?" Adrien said not liking this.
In the building, the mysterious figure was searching for them.
"Nobody? We must have missed something." The villain said.
"They have to be inside the building, Oblivio. Ladybug and Cat Noir can't have escaped. Retrace your steps. They must have transformed back by now. And with their memories erased, Silver Claw nowhere to be seen you won't have any trouble getting your hands on their Miraculous." Hawk Moth said telepathically.
Back in the office, Marinette and Adrien were looking at the poster.
"If my own mother doesn't know that I'm Ladybug, then nobody must know." Marinette assumes.
"What about us? Do we know?" Adrien asks.
Taking out her phone, Marinette sees many pictures of Adrien. "I feel like we're more than just a superhero team."
Looking at his phone Adrien saw many pictures of Ladybug. "Do you think we're…"
Turning to each other they showed each other their phones and smiled.
"Looks like it." Marinette said.
"Then we must have told each other everything. I couldn't hide my identity from the girl I love." Adrien said making Marinette blush slightly.
"So if we're superheroes then who's that guy?" Marinette asks pointing to the image of Silver Claw.
"Maybe he's our sidekick." Adrien said.
"But then where is he?" Marinette asks.
"If he's a hero like us then he's probably got his hands full." Adrien said.
"I guess, but what about them?" Marinette asks looking at the kwamis who were by the window.
"I don't know." Adrien admits.
"You can't just leave, we have to help them!" Tikki said.
"Don't be a scaredy-cat Plagg." Faang said.
"Easy for you to say, we don't know who you guys are, who they are. I don't want to help out a couple of strangers." Plagg said.
"So you'd rather not do anything at all?" Trixx glares.
"You may not remember who you are, but at least you know this about this about yourself: you're a selfish being, and a total coward!" Tikki snaps.
"Me a coward? I'm not a coward I'm a free spirit." Plagg said.
"So you'd rather run than fight? Yeah that's a total free spirit." Faang mocks.
"Fine don't come if you don't want to, but I'm out of here!" Plagg said phasing through the window as Adrien and Marinette walk over.
"Did he go to get help?" Adrien asks.
"I don't think we should hold our breath." Tikki said.
At the elevator, the door opens causing Adrien and Marinette to go and hide.
Exiting was a purple silhouette of a figure with a white blaster for a left hand a grey glove for a right hand.
"Ladybug, Cat Noir, we know you're in here. You won't get away this time. You remember your BFF Oblivio, don't you? Don't tell us you've forgotten." Oblivio mocks throwing various furniture around destroying the office.
Upon seeing Oblivio a horrified expression appeared on Faang and Trixx.
"I'm not convinced that this monster is really our best friend." Adrien whispers.
"He's not, you two were fighting him earlier." Faang said.
"One thing's for sure, if we're superheroes, he can't find out about our secret identities." Marinette whispers.
"We need to sneak out of here. We need some kind of diversion." Trixx suggests.
"No Trixx, you can't remember what happened last time?" Faang whispers.
"I know but still." Trixx said as Marinette looked around and spots a sticky note pad, a pen, and a spilled cup of coffee on top of the desk. Turning around she sees a tape dispenser and Adrien's phone.
"Sorry, I need this." Marinette said grabbing the phone.
As Oblivio flips over a table, Marinette tied tape around Adrien's phone.
"I'll call you, and when he comes, we make a run for it. I'll use the tape to pull your phone back. Ready?" Marinette explains
"Wow that's sneaky and I know sneaky." Trixx said impressed.
"No wonder I fell in love with you." Adrien said as Marinette grabbed the coffee cup.
Sneaking across the room, Marinette dials Adrien's phone and when Oblivio heard the ring tone he turned in that direction.
"Gotcha. You should have forgotten to turn off your phone." Oblivio said heading towards the noise only to see a sticky note with a picture of a donkey on it. "NO!"
Using this chance they made a run for the stairs. While Marinette and Adrien ran up the stairs Tikki, Faang and Trixx used the coffee to drip a trail downstairs to try and lose it.
Kicking the door open, Oblivio sees the trail.
"You're trying to fool Oblivio again! But it's not gonna work this time." Oblivo said making his way upstairs.
Thinking quick Faang flew down and opened a door quickly before shutting it.
"Or perhaps we give you too much credit." Oblivio said heading downstairs.
Using this chance the 3 kwamis flew up to them.
"You saved our lives. Thank you." Marinette smiles.
"Let's head back to where we were. It's the last place he'll think of looking for us." Adrien said as they made their way down.
On the streets of Paris, Plagg was flying through the air.
"Pfft, a coward, me? Whatever." Plagg scoffs when he sees a billboard of Adrien's perfume. "Adrien?" Shaking it off he continued flying. "I may not remember my own name, but I know for a fact that I'm brave and I'm…" Trailing off Plagg sees ads for Adrien all over the place making him freak out. "This is called psychological harassment!"
Back at the tower, Adrien and Marinette enter the office.
"Sorry, your phone's out of juice." Marinette said giving Adrien back his phone.
"No worries. We're doing pretty well, even without powers, don't you think?" Adrien asks taking it.
"It's true, you two make a very effective couple." Tikki said.
As the two of them looked at each other Trixx and Faang couldn't help but love what they were hearing.
"Yes, but if we want a real shot at defeating this villain, we're gonna have to become Ladybug and Cat Noir again." Marinette said.
"I don't suppose you two know how we can?" Adrien asks.
"No sadly we're not allowed to share sensitive information about other kwamis." Faang said as he shook his head.
"Kwamis, so that's what we are?" Tikki asks.
"Exactly. I'm afraid if you want to become Ladybug, you'll need to know a special set of words Tikki." Trixx said.
"Maybe we can gather some hints by watching some news footage to see what happened before he erased our memories." Marinette said looking at her phone.
Playing a video we see Officer Roger in the middle of a traffic jam.
"Hey do something!"
"What do you want me to do?" Roger asks.
"I don't know you're the cop!"
"I am?" Roger asks confused.
Zooming out we see Nadja Chamack who looked equally confused.
"Nadja you're on the air." Someone said.
"Uh what do I do?" Nadja asks as she was handed a table to read. "Uh, don't be bemused, it's just the news. Since early this afternoon, a supervillain by the name of Oblivio has been erasing the memories of everyone he comes across. Ladybug and Cat Noir are tracking him down inside Montparnasse Tower."
"Well right now he's the one tracking us." Adrien said.
In the hallways, Oblivio was looking for Ladybug and Cat Noir.
"Ladybug and Cat Noir are toying with you Oblivio. If you can't manage to find them…" Hawk Moth hints.
"Then we'll flush them out of hiding, Hawk Moth!" Oblivo declares.
Going to the elevator, Oblivio headed to the top floor and aimed his blaster at the sky firing tons of purple blasts into the making it form a large purple bubble.
In the office, Marinette and Adrien saw more of the news story.
"Looks like Ladybug and Cat Noir are struggling today." Nadja said as Ladybug spun her yoyo to deflect Oblivio's attacks while Cat Noir was behind her.
"And stop calling us a couple!" Ladybug snaps.
"We don't sound very lovey-dovey." Adrien said.
"Probably just a regular fight like all couples have." Marinette assumes.
"Yeah like all couples." Faang said rolling his eyes while Trixx just shook her head.
On screen Cat Noir got hit by Oblivio. "Oh, oh no! Cat Noir has been hit, but Ladybug pulls him out of danger." Nadja said as Ladybug pulled him into the elevator and drew something on the wall before she got hit. "Ladybug is down, too!"
"The drawing! There was a drawing on the elevator wall! I remember now. It was a turtle. I saw it earlier when I was looking for my mom's number." Marinette said showing a picture of a turtle for the contact Fu.
"You left yourself a message! So smart." Adrien smiles as Marinette dialed him.
"Hello?" Fu answers.
"Hello uh Mr. Turtle." Marinette said.
"Marinette, is there a problem?" Fu asks.
"Listen. I can't remember who I am or who you are. Oblivio has erased my memory. But I think I'm supposed to call you." Marinette said.
"You did the right thing. Is Cat Noir and Silver Claw with you?" Fu asks.
"Uh no Silver Claw, but Adrien is with me." Marinette smiles.
"You two know your true identities, then." Fu gasps as they looked at each other.
"We're not supposed to?" Marinette asks.
"It's okay the Miraculous Ladybug will fix everything." Fu assures.
"We figured out we're superheroes, but we don't know how to make ourselves Ladybug and Cat Noir again." Marinette said when her phone beeped indicating a low battery. "Mr. Turtle, you'll have to tell us quick, I'm almost out of battery."
"Are your kwamis with you?" Fu asks.
"You mean the flying things? Yeah we have 3. The red one and an orange and silver one." Marinette said.
"Oh no, the Silver one is Silver Claw's kwami that means you don't have any backup." Fu said making them cringe. "Listen carefully, the red kwami's name is Tikki. Say, "Tikki, spots on," and you'll transform into Ladybug. You'll find an emergency user's guide in your bug phone. Adrien, your kwami's the black one. His name is Plagg. Tell him, "Plagg, claws out," and you'll become Cat Noir again. The rest is in your cat phone." Fu explains.
"But my kwami took off." Adrien said.
"You won't be able to transform without him—" Before Fu could finish the battery died.
"What do we do?" Adrien asks.
"We can help." Trixx said flying. "You're wearing my Miraculous. Just use me."
"And Marinette you can use me too." Faang said.
"You can use more than one Miraculous at a time?" Marinette asks interested.
Suddenly they heard a loud noise from the upper levels making them all nervous.
Back with Plagg, he was flying away when he noticed the large bubble.
"You're a selfish being and a total coward!" Tikki's voice echoed.
"I am not a coward, and I'm not selfish, either! But maybe this Adrien boy has some yummy Camembert left." Plagg said flying back towards the tower.
Back at the tower, the bubble was growing.
"Ladybug, Cat Noir, if you don't come out of hiding and give us your Miraculous, this giant bubble's gonna erase the memories of every single person in Paris!" Oblivio threatens.
"Alright you guys sure this will work?" Marinette asks.
"Positive." Faang nods.
"Tikki, Faang, Unify!" Marinette said as both her Miraculous glowed brightly and both kwamis fused together.
A red and silver mask appeared on her face, her costume changed to a dark red suit with silver moons instead of spots, a wolf tail came out her back and her yoyo and Silver Claw's sword appeared.
"Whoa, this is Ladybug?" She asks looking at herself.
"Since that was Silver Claw's kwami I guess you're Silver Bug now." Adrien said.
"Silver Bug…I like it." She smiles.
Taking out her yoyo she brings up the user guide. Okay, there seems to be a kind of button here. User's guide? Yo-yo's features, capturing the akuma, one-time power Lucky Charm."
Unfortunately for her that resulted in the lucky charm being activated and as a result a teapot appeared.
"Huh! What am I supposed to do with this? Make tea?" Marinette asks.
"You used it too fast you can only use your Miraculouses power once but since you unified you have the power of two." Trixx explains.
"I do?" Looking at the other she saw Silver Claw's information. "I can do something called a Moon—"
"Don't!" Adrien said stopping her.
"Right sorry. Time for action." Silver Bug said.
"So what do I say?" Adrien asks.
"My power is illusion for you to use me just say, Trixx, Let's Pounce." Trixx said.
"Got it. Trixx, Let's Pounce!" Adrien said as his necklace glowed.
An orange mask was on his face, a hood pulled up over his head, a foxtail and a cool orange and white outfit that resembled a thief.
"Whoa I gotta admit, you look like a real hero." Silver Bug said.
"Trickster at your service milady." Trickster bows making her giggle.
"You ready?" Silver Bug asks.
"Ready as I'll ever be." Trickster said as Silver Bug gave him a peck on the cheek and they both ran out. 'I don't need any memory to know that I love that girl.'
Running up to the roof, both heroes looked at their abilities.
"The Miraculous enhances all physical abilities and this Silver Claw one gives me sword fighting knowledge. Well that's handy." Silver Bug said.
"Meanwhile I can use my powers to trick Oblivo." Trickster said looking at his flute.
"Trickster is an appropriate name for this one." Silver Bug said as both heroes ran out to the roof with weapons ready.
Seeing them Hawk Moth grins.
"It looks like Ladybug has fused with Silver Claw while another hero has appeared. I doubt she regained her memory just yet. Seize their Miraculous, Oblivio and then we'll go after Cat Noir." Hawk Moth orders.
Aiming his arm cannon at them, Oblivio fires forcing both heroes to scramble.
Swinging his flute, Trickster went on the attack but it just phases through Oblivo.
"Seems you've already forgotten about your last defeat!" Oblivo said kicking him away.
Linking her yoyo to her sword, Silver Bug throws it with all her might forcing Oblivio to jump back as it almost hit his arm.
"Ha! Can't erase our memories if you can't hit us!" Silver Bug smiles.
Ducking under the sword Oblivio kicks the yoyo away making it swing back and tangle around Silver Bug's legs.
"You've forgotten your reflexes, huh?" Oblivo mocks as Silver Bug trips. Now we're gonna make sure you forget everything else, including your Miraculous!"
Gasping Trickster had to move fast.
"Mirage!" Blowing his flute, Trickster created many versions of himself and Silver Bug.
"Hey Oblivio over here!"
"No over here!"
"You can't hit us! You can't hit us!"
As they taunted Oblivio the real Trickster ran in and scooped Silver Bug up and leaped behind a vent.
"You alright?" Trickster asks holding her bridal style.
"I am now." Silver Bug giggles.
"So, can I be of any help in any way?" Plagg asks appearing next to them.
"Plagg." Trickster smiles letting Silver Bug down.
"That's my name." Plagg said as Trickster looks at his ring.
"Now you have two kwamis." Silver Bug grins.
"Time to try it for myself. Trixx, Plagg unify!" Merging together Adrien's costume changed to resemble his classic Cat Noir but now it had hot orange highlights, a half black half orange mask, fox ears, his cat tail and his flute and staff could combine and separate at will.
"Oh yeah Sly Noir is in the house." He grins.
As Oblivio took out the last illusion he looks around for any sign of them.
"Where did you go? Come on out Ladybug and Cat Noir!" Oblivio calls out.
"Sorry wrong names!" Turning around Oblivio looks to see both heroes nail him in the face with a duo kick sending him tumbling back.
"Oh man enhanced abilities is the best." Sly Noir said looking at his staff phone. "Let's see stick features and this one has an ability called Cata—"
"Don't! It'll trigger it if you say it out loud." Silver Bug interrupts.
"I guess like our other ones we can only use it once." Sly Noir said.
"We both have one trick left, we need to play this smart." Silver Bug said as Oblivio recovered.
Aiming his blaster he fired forcing Ladybug to use her yoyo to deflect them.
"My last power creates a powerful howl what's yours do?" Silver Bug asks.
"Apparently, I can destroy anything I touch." Sly Noir said.
"Then stay away from me, if you don't mind." Silver Bug giggles.
"Not gonna be easy milday." Sly Noir jokes as Oblivo kept them pinned down. "We won't stand a chance until we stop him from firing at us."
"Of course! His left hand is different from the rest of his body! That must be where the akuma is hiding." Silver Bug realized.
"Okay I have no idea what the hakuna matata is but I trust you, so what's your plan?" Sly Noir asks.
"Be ready to cover your ears." Silver Bug said as they both leaped back. "Moon Call!"
Taking a deep breath, Silver Bug released a sonic howl that blasted Oblivo sending him crashing into the wall.
Using this chance, she throws the teapot making it land on Oblivo's gloved hand.
"All yours kitty." Silver Bug grins.
"Cataclysm!" As dark energy surrounded his hand, Sly Noir charges in.
Oblivio tries to counter but thanks to the teapot he couldn't use his blaster allowing Sly Noir to destroy his blaster releasing the akuma.
"No more evil doing for you little akuma. Time to de-evilise!" Using her yoyo Silver Bug captures the akuma and turns it into a butterfly. "Gotcha. Bye-bye little butterfly."
Separating we see that Oblivo was actually Sam and Alya.
"Wow so this villain was both these guys?" Sly Noir said surprised before looking up at the purple bubble. "So what do we do about that?"
"This is where my other power comes in. It fixes everything back to how it was originally." Silver Bug said picking up the teapot.
"Wait. Do you think we'll remember all this… afterwards?" Sly Noir asks.
"Apparently, my Miraculous Ladybug reverts everything, so I'm guessing we won't." Silver Bug frowns.
"Well then with your permission milday." Moving in Sly Noir stops right in front of her and grabs her hands.
Smiling Silver Bug leans in and the two kiss on the lips.
Nearby Sam and Alya recover and gasp seeing this scene.
"No way." Sam said as Alya quickly took out her phone and snapped a picture of this before they separated.
"Miraculous Ladybug!" Sliver Bug throws the teapot into the air fixing all the damages.
But when it did the two heroes looked at each other surprised and confused.
"Ladybug? Cat Noir?" Alya asks.
"Uh I think so." Silver Bug said looking at the bracelet. "Wait this is Silver Claw's Miraculous."
"And I've got Rena Rouge's. Uh have either of you seen a villain named Oblivio around here?" Sly Noir asks.
"Uh you already beat him." Sam admits embarrassed.
"Actually it was us." Alya said equally embarrassed.
"Oh, okay. Pound it? Pound it!" Both said before fist-bumping.
"It's a shame we have to give these back to our friends. We do make a good couple, don't you think? Otherwise they wouldn't have given us their Miraculous to use." Sly Noir assumes.
"Ugh, we're a team, not a couple. I've already told you that I'm in love with another boy. Besides, this charming kitty act of yours was the reason we became distracted and got into all this trouble in the first place." Silver Bug said when he suddenly began to laugh. "That's right laugh all you want—"
Turning her head Silver Bug gasps seeing Sam and Alya smile and point to the picture of them kissing.
"Everyone saw that?! This is a disaster! What on earth happened?!" Silver Bug panics.
"Well one thing's for sure, we would make a good-looking couple. We're meant for each other milady. You're the only one who doesn't see it." Sly Noir smiles when both their Miraculous sets beeped.
"This conversation is not over!" Silver Bug said flying away.
"How is it those two always have the best moments when I'm not around?" Sam chuckles.
At his base, Hawk Moth was not happy about his latest failure.
"I won't soon forget this, Ladybug and Cat Noir. The love you both secretly have for each other will be your downfall." Hawk Moth vows.
Later that day, Sam and Alya were in front of the class with looks of shame on their faces.
"Right so Sam and I are really sorry for what happened today." Alya admits.
"Were you two Oblivio?" Mylene asks.
"Yeah unfortunately." Sam cringed.
"Why did you want to erase everyone's memory?" Marinette asks.
"Because we were embarrassed. Remember when we visited Montparnasse Tower?" Alya asks.
"Well Ms. Bustier caught us sneaking away from the group and when she opened the door, she caught us flirting and making out." Sam confesses.
"We were totally embarrassed at getting caught." Alya said.
"And as a result we got akumatized." Sam cringed remembering the akuma hitting them. Luckily Faang and Trixx got their Miraculous off them.
"Next time save the romance for when you're alone not on a school trip." Ms. Bustier smirks as they sat down.
"Hey nothing wrong with being in love dude, just have a little control." Ivan said.
"Noted." Sam said as they both opened their bags to reveal Faang and Trixx smiling at them making them feel a little better.
That night, at Marinette's place she was looking at the picture Alya had posted.
"I don't believe this! I actually kissed Cat Noir! How could this have happened?" Marinette groans banging her head on the table.
"Who knows? Maybe you still have some things to learn about him." Tikki suggests.
At Adrien's house, his reaction was very similar.
"I can't believe it, Plagg. She finally fell in love with me, and I've forgotten all about it." Adrien groans banging his head on the table.
"You're right, that's really unlucky." Plagg said eating cheese.
"You know what? It doesn't matter. If it happened once, it can happen again. At least now, know my dream can come true." Adrien said determined to make Ladybug fall in love with him.
At Fu's place, Sam and Alya were sitting across from him getting lectured.
"Of all the reckless irresponsible! You two are Miraculous wielders! Think next time." Fu scolds.
"Yes Master Fu." Sam and Alya said at the same time.
Taking off her necklace Alya handed Trixx back.
"I hope today has taught you two a lesson in self-restraint." Fu said.
"Absolutely Master Fu this won't happen again. We promise." Sam said.
"Good, now get home your families must be worried." Fu urged.
"See you soon Alya." Trixx waves goodbye.
"Bye Trixx." Alya said as they walked out.
"Well this day was eventful." Sam said.
"I'll say merging with Tikki was insane." Faang agrees.
"Ladybug merging with Silver Claw and Cat Noir with Rena Rogue, talk about epic combinations." Alya said.
"Yeah Unification is something else." Sam admits speaking from experience.
"As much as I hated being lectured they're right, we can be a little too romantic from time to time." Alya said.
"Yeah I guess so." Sam sighs. "We need to learn the right time and place for this stuff.
"Well we have plenty of time to figure it out." Alya giggles pecking him on the cheek making him feel better.
Smiling Sam took her hand and they walked home.
'Marinette and Adrien finally kissed and none of them remember why? Oh man I wish I knew what happened between them.' Sam thought.
