Danny was taken aback; he had no inkling that Malina was present. The Sour Demon herself was astonished to be meeting Danny in person for the first time. Zdrada glanced at the two and smirked.
"So, you're the famous Danny my sister has been chatting with," she said, approaching him.
"And you must be Zdrada," Danny replied, noticing the Bitch Demon's smirk.
"That's my name, don't wear it out," she responded, extending her hand.
Danny sighed before accepting the handshake, surprised by the stark contrast between the two. Malina constantly wore a sour expression, while Zdrada appeared to be scheming, making Danny feel the need to be on his guard—a warning Malina had given should they ever meet.
"I was right; he's quite the looker. You picked a real winner, Malinka," Zdrada smirked.
"Don't call me that!" Malina growled.
"Malinka?" Danny inquired, puzzled.
"It's just a nickname for my little sister. I use it to annoy her," Zdrada explained, smirking.
Malina turned away, attempting to conceal her embarrassment over the nickname. Danny understood her reaction; after all, Jazz could be annoying to him as well.
"Did you girls get to see the sights of Amity Park?" Danny questioned.
"Only until we meet your parents," Malina replied.
"And Malina saved your father's life," Zdrada interjected.
"Wait, she did what?!" Danny exclaimed, surprised.
"A ghost attack nearly crushed your father until Malina pushed him and herself out of the way," Zdrada explained, wrapping her arm around Malina.
"And we didn't know they were your parents when we first met. She's already earned some major brownie points with them," she added.
"S-SHUT UP!" Malina yelled, her face turning fully red from embarrassment.
"Wow, thanks, Malina," Danny said, still taken aback.
Malina blinked, slightly surprised.
"Don't mention it," she muttered, looking away.
Only Zdrada noticed the tiny smile on Malina's face.
"Danny?"
All three turned to see Jazz walking downstairs before noticing the two sisters.
"I was wondering when you'd come down," Danny said with a sigh.
"I was studying," Jazz replied.
"Let me guess, still reading that lesbian book?" Danny teased.
"It's for research!" Jazz protested, her cheeks blushing.
"Why do you want to research lesbians?" Zdrada inquired, with Malina sensing her intent.
"I want to be a psychologist, but I barely know anything about those who date the same gender," Jazz admitted, still blushing.
"Why read about it? Just go with the flow. Ask a girl out," Zdrada suggested with a smirk.
"Zdrada! Don't! You! Dare!" Malina interjected, groaning as her sister dismissed the concern.
"Relax, Malinka. I'm just offering some advice," Zdrada said nonchalantly.
Malina was skeptical but groaned nonetheless.
"Has she always been like this?" Danny asked.
"All my life," Malina replied, exhaling deeply.
Later,
Danny decided to give the sisters a tour of Amity Park, with Zdrada pulling Jazz along. Malina stood by Danny, resisting the urge to glare at Zdrada, who had slung her arm around Jazz's shoulders.
"Amity Park has many cool spots. The two favorites are Amity Park Mall and Nasty Burger," Danny explained.
"Nasty Burger?" Malina echoed, puzzled.
"The name's misleading. The food's actually really good, and it's a popular hangout for teens. I was even supposed to meet Sam and Tucker there!" Danny recalled an earlier plan.
"Well, we might as well go. You did mention we all live in the same town," Malina suggested.
"That's true," Danny agreed, glancing back.
Zdrada was still teasing his sister, who was now blushing profusely.
"Will my sister be okay?" Danny asked with concern.
Malina exhaled deeply, empathizing with Danny's concern.
"She can be a bitch, but she knows where to draw the line," Malina assured him.
Hearing Malina swear was a bit shocking for Danny, but it matched what she had shared with him online.
The group arrived at Nasty Burger, where Danny led them to a table with his friends.
"About time, dude! We were going to order without you," Tucker exclaimed before noticing the sisters.
"Sorry, guys. My parents delayed me, and guess what, this is Malina," Danny introduced, pointing to her.
"Wait, you're Malina?! The Chaos Slayer?!" Tucker responded, astonished.
Sam frowned, then turned to Malina and Zdrada.
"And who might you be?" she inquired of Zdrada.
"Zdrada. Thanks for looking out for my little sister," she replied with a smirk.
Tucker observed the two, noting a familial resemblance but not much.
"You two don't look like sisters," he commented.
Danny and Jazz rolled their eyes. Some even struggle to see them as siblings because of their contrasting behaviors.
"Believe it, Tuck. They're sisters," Danny assured, with Jazz nodding in agreement.
"Sorry, it's just that they look quite different from one another," Tucker remarked.
"You're not the first person to have that thought," Malina sighs.
"Don't worry about it," Zdrada adds.
"So, what brings you two to our little town?" Sam inquires.
"Just some business," Malina replies, concealing their true purpose for being there.
"Business?" Sam questions, raising an eyebrow.
"Don't mind her, Sam. She's just upset that you beat her in DOOMED," Tucker smirks.
"Shut it!" Sam retorts.
"That's Malinka for you. Once she masters the game, she's unbeatable!" Zdrada smirks.
"Don't call me that!" Malina growls.
"Malinka?" Tucker probes.
At that, Malina growls, prompting Tucker to retreat.
"Anyway, do you girls want something to eat?" Danny offers.
"Sure, why not. I could go for a little something," Zdrada says, shrugging.
"Same here," Malina agrees, sighing.
Danny nodded and made his way to the corner, ready to place his order along with two others. Jazz joined him, leaving the sisters alone with Sam and Tucker.
"So, what do you girls think of Amity Park?" inquired Tucker.
"The sign didn't lie. It seems like a nice place to live," Zdrada replied with a smile.
"We've also heard it's home to a lot of ghosts," added Malina.
"Seen any?" questioned Sam.
"Not exactly, but we did encounter Danny's parents," Zdrada recounted.
"And how did that go?" Tucker probed.
"Malina saved Mr. Fenton's life. That's one way to score some brownie points," Zdrada remarked with a smirk.
"Would you stop bringing that up!" Malina shouted, clearly annoyed.
"Wow, Danny and Jazz don't even get on each other's nerves that much," observed Sam.
"If you had to deal with her your entire life, you'd understand she has a knack for pushing buttons in the worst ways," Malina complained.
"I get what you're saying," Sam empathized, reflecting on her own parents.
From the corner of her eye, Malina noticed Danny picking up two items as Jazz did the same. They had been sent here to capture ghosts, yet nothing was mentioned about not getting to know Danny beyond a game and a computer.
Zdrada noticed where her sister was looking and smirked, sensing the fun that was about to unfold. She wasn't the only one who noticed; Sam saw it too and became worried.
Completed. Apologies for the lengthy delay in updating my stories, everyone. I've recently acquired a new game for my Switch called Monster Hunter: Rise and have been engrossed in it since last Friday. I need to download the DLCs, but that will have to wait as my bank account is nearly depleted. I've been overdrawn lately, leaving just 25 dollars to keep the account active.
In this latest chapter, all the characters have come together. I intend to develop Danny's and Malina's relationship gradually, as well as Jazz's and Zdrada's. I'm contemplating the direction for the next chapter and welcome suggestions, but AnimeGoji91, try not to stray too far with your imaginative ideas that sometimes diverge from the main narrative.
