"Oh? You want both of us to work together?" Zdrada asked as Malina groaned.
"Zdrada, don't you dare..." She started.
"I'm not. I'm just surprised that you would ask me that." Zdrada said, smirking.
"Look, we both had seen how that school acts to people. I know we're demons, but I did look up other schools. None of them treated students the same way Casper High does." Malina said.
"Hmm, that is true. While not part of the A-Listers, Jazz is treated like a star player." Zdrada said, recalling how much praise Jazz gets from the teachers.
Malina frowns, recalling how Danny was treated differently. Just because he's not as smart as his sister, doesn't mean Danny needs to be treated like an idiot. Besides, Danny was smart in his own way. Not to mention his dream, Malina couldn't help but find his dream amazing. Traveling to space? She heard of humans doing that, but the way Danny made it sound was so...peaceful.
'Focus, Malina! You can think about Danny's wonderful dream later! Augh! What is wrong with me?!' She thought, groaning.
"You know, Malinka, You should at least try," Zdrada said, making her look at her.
"Try what?" Malina asked, confused.
"Take him out. I know you have a crush on him and I can see he has one on you too. I'm not saying this as a joke or to mess with you, I'm saying this because we don't know how much time we have until the queen calls us back." Zdrada said.
Malina crossed her arms and thought about it. Zdrada had a point. The queen did send them to find out more about ghosts, but they had no luck so far. Ad there was no telling when they would be called back to hell. Plus, she couldn't shake that the twin demons were up to something. Not to mention how Whisk knew about Danny.
"I still don't like how they knew about Danny before we came here," Malina said, making Zdrada nod.
"Sounds like they're trying to take over our jobs again," Zdrada said, rolling her eyes.
"Of course." Malina groans.
Why else would they rub it in their faces? Karma and Whisk have been their positions for centuries. No matter how many times they tried, the two demons would fail. And since this was another one of the plans, they were still at it.
"Remind me to give them a beating of a lifetime for this." She asked Zdrada.
"Sure," Zdrada said before looking at the clock.
"Well, I got to run. Jazz is ready for another crash course." She said, heading for the head.
"Zdrara, will you give the girl a break?" Malina groans.
"Soon, dear sister. I'm just trying to help her." Zdrada said, leaving the room.
"What do I doubt that?" Malina asked, sighing.
Meanwhile,
"AND STAY IN THE GHOST ZONE!"
Danny had just sucked up the Box Ghost for the 152nd time, having grown very annoyed with them.
"You know what? I might just ask Walker if he keeps the Box Ghost locked up for a few years so I can stop dealing with him all the time!" Danny said before sighing.
"Then again, he'll take the chance to arrest me as well." He added before heading home.
During his trip, he spotted Jazz, who looked worried about something. Feeling his brotherly instincts kick in, Danny floated down and tapped Jazz's shoulder.
"Huh?! What?!" She said, jointing.
"Jazz, are you okay?" Danny asked, seeing his sister turn to him.
"Danny? Yeah, yeah. I'm fine. Just a lot on my mind." She said, sighing.
"Want to talk about it?" Danny asked, worried.
"That's my line!" Jazz said before sighing.
"Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt." She said, making Danny nod.
He turned back to his human form before walking next to Jazz.
"What's wrong?" Danny asked.
"It's Zdrada. Before you worry, she hasn't done anything to me...I think. She has been giving me some crash courses about lesbians and our last test was kissing." Jazz said, surprising him.
"You kissed another girl?" Danny asked, shocked.
"Yeah, and I don't remember anything else after that. Zdrada mentioned we kissed for hours and I came close to taking off her...err...pants." Jazz said, blushing.
Danny was surprised before Jazz continued.
"She stopped me before I did, however. But since then, I can't stop thinking about it! Her lips were so amazing! I can still feel them! But I'm not a lesbian! Why do I want to kiss her again? Why do I want to hold her? Why..." Jazz ranted before Danny grabbed her.
"Jazz! I think you're falling for her." Danny said, shocking her.
"What?" She asked.
"Jazz, you're falling for her. I think that you have a crush on Zdrada." Danny told her.
"A CRUSH?!" Jazz shouted, not believing it.
"What you just said is how mom and dad act, remember? Yeah, it can be a bit gross at times, but it sounds like you want that. Even with another girl." Danny said, making Jazz think about it.
'Is Danny right? Am I gaining a crush on Zdrada? Am I crushing on another girl?' Jazz thought.
"But why? I never showed interest in a girl before." Jazz said.
"I don't know, but I do think it has to do with that saying "something that the heart wants". I still don't get what that means," Danny said, sighing.
Jazz sighed, knowing that Danny was still clueless about his own crushes. However, she needs to focus on hers at the moment.
"Danny, are you sure that I have a crush on Zdrada? I mean, we're just friends right?" She asked.
"I can't say I know a lot about Zdrada, other than being an annoying sister. Something the two of you have in common." Danny said, making Jazz frown.
"Danny..." She said before he waved her off.
"Anyway, Jazz remember those lessons you had me do? Well, maybe you should take your own advice. Talk to her about it. Maybe it would help." Danny told her.
Jazz thought about it, and saw her brother's point. She couldn't help but laugh at the irony.
"Wow, you just used my own words against me, Danny." She said.
"What can I say? I learned them from you." Danny laughs.
The Fenton Siblings laughed for a few minutes before Jazz hugged her brother.
"Thanks, Danny. Something tells me that's what I need to hear." She said.
"Happy to help, Miss know-it-all," Danny smirks.
"Oh, hush! I don't know everything." Jazz said, playfully punching Danny's shoulder.
Jazz also knew that Danny was right. She needs to talk to Zdrada about this and come to terms with her feelings. Whether this ends well or badly, she knows she will feel better once she does. Now if only Danny could get a clue about his crushes.
Okay, make this short for now. So, Malina and Zdrada have figured out their rival's plan, and Zdrada brings up the fact they have no idea when they will be called back, so she wants Malina to take her chance beforehand. Though Malina is trying to keep her crush under control, she is thinking about it.
Meanwhile, Jazz is still coming to terms with her own feelings before Danny points out that she has gained a crush on Zdrada. A nice Bother-sister moment between them. Not to mention, Danny shows his rarely smart side and uses Jazz's own advice with her. I do like the stories that show how close Danny and Jazz are as siblings. I do my best to show them in my stories too.
Anyway, I'm starting to run out of single-chapter titles for this story. I might just leave the title names to you guys on the next chapter. I'll write and then you can tell me what you think fits it. Remember, it has to be one word. And that's after I write the next chapter.
