As soon as Paige had got back into the car she leaned over and gave Walter a kiss on the lips , who responded , then pulled back and simply said . " Well ? "

" I am feeling a little peckish , shall we go get some food and I will tell you all about it . "

Walter smiled at her . " How about we go down to the beach and get some hot dogs and take a walk along the beach . He suggested .

The smile grew bigger on Paige's face . " That I would really enjoy . "

Paige pulled away from Happy's , thirty minutes later she was pulling up on one of the beach car parks , which had a hot dog vendor close by .

Paige ordered a hot dog with mustard and ketchup plus extra onions , Walter ordered the same except the extra onions .

They began to walk along the beach while they ate their hot dogs . Once they had finished them Paige began to tell Walter what had gone on at Happy's , by the time she had finished telling him , Walter was finding it difficult not to laugh .

" Do you think they will accept your contract ? "

" Well I think Happy and Sly will , but no doubt Toby will object , just for the sake of it , but I am sure Sly will not stand any messing from him , as he as the majority of shares in the partnership . But if they don't I have not lost anything , apart from a few hours this morning . " A smile on her face as she pulled him a little closer then on her tip toes gave Walter a kiss on the cheek .

They carried on walking down the beach , hand in hand fingers intertwined , not saying much just content to be in each others company . The silence after a while , began to worry Paige a little as Walter would normally love to talk , telling her about the surroundings , but he seemed content to just walk with a smile on his face .

She could not help herself , she had to ask . " Walter are you alright , I have never known you so quiet on one of our beach walks ? "

" The night you walked out on me you said you wanted to walk down on the beach without a marine lecture every time we did , so I am just doing what you want . "

Paige's smile dropped from her face . " I am so sorry Walter . But as I told you the other day a lot of the things I told you that night were meant to hurt you , because I thought you had hurt me , but all that was me being stupid . I do not want to change you Walter , the Walter I fell in love with is the one I want to spend my life with , so please Walter don't hold back just to please me . Even if it is about greenery on your dinner plate in a restaurant .

Walter smiled at her , leaned over to her and placed a kiss on her lips . " Well , if you promise to tell me if I do start to make you feel I am discussing things to much , you will tell me . "

" I promise and if I start to try and change you to much , you have to tell me . "

Walter looked at her . " Of course I will tell you , but you usually tell me things I do wrong for my own benefit . "

As he finished speaking Paige's phone beeped . " That's the alarm for me to collect Ralph from school . " Paige told him .

Walter smiled at her then looked behind him . " I think we have walked a lot further than we meant to . I would suggest that we make our way to the sidewalk , we will be able to walk back quicker to the car . They made their way to the sidewalk , once they reached it they managed to double their pace .

Paige pulled up outside Ralph's school five minutes late , Ralph was talking to Daniel and his mom , when he saw his mom's car pull up he said his goodbyes and ran over to the car , a big smile on his face .

Once they reached Paige's condo , Ralph went to his room to change out of his school clothes and do his homework . Paige and Walter sat on the sofa , Paige cuddled up to him and rested her head on Walter's shoulder , just as they were comfortable , Paige's phone rang .

She looked at the i.D. " It's Happy . "

Walter smiled . " Then you had better answer it . "

Paige sat up straight before she answered . " Hello Happy how can I help ? "

Happy " Well we have discussed everything you told us this morning , although it will mean us reducing our profits by more than we would like . It as been decided that we do not really have much choice , until we can find someone to replace you . The bid I told you about , they are listening to bids a week today , will you be able to be there for it ? "

Paige " Of course I will need the address and time of course , I would also like to come over to your office . " Paige could not help but giggle as she said that . " To spend a couple of hours the day before going through the bid to make sure I do not get blindsided at the presentation . "

Happy " Well I hope your 5% or $100 will cover you for that ? "

Paige " Don't worry about that , I just want to protect myself and my reputation . As well as the address I need the companies name so I can include it on my contract and invoice . "

Happy with some reluctance gave her the information and also that her cheque for her $300 had been posted to her home address ,then disconnected the call .

" Well it appears they have accepted my contract and want me to present their bid a week today and my cheque is in the post today . I have told them I am going over the day before the bid just to check the bid over . I also want to make sure Sly as removed me from all the paperwork and as removed me as a partner in the company . " Paige explained to Walter , who during the telephone conversation had got up and put a fresh pot of coffee on .

Ralph came out of his bedroom a hour later and joined them on the sofa . After about ten minutes Paige got up and went to the kitchen to begin the evening meal .

Friday morning Paige drove Walter to a van hire company . were he hired a large van until the next Monday . He followed Paige back to the garage , Walter pulled the van into the garage . Once they had finished a cup of coffee , Walter began to sort through the computers and began to load them into the van . In the meantime Paige had gone up to the loft and began to pack Walter's clothes into a couple of suitcases she had removed from the trunk of her car . Once both suitcases were filled , she struggled to carry one at a time down the ramp and left them there for Walter to put in the trunk of her car .

At 1.00pm both stopped working and Paige took some sandwiches , she had made at home before leaving , she made fresh coffee . Putting the sandwiches on plates then on to the kitchen table , were Walter was already sitting .

" I love to watch you working , you always seem to have a smile on your face . " Walter told her .

" I am at my most happiest when I am doing something for you or Ralph . " Paige replied .

They finished lunch and while Paige cleared everything away , Walter went back to moving computers into the van . Paige joined him twenty minutes later and began to sort through the filing cabinets .

" What do you think we should do with these old files , a lot are in connection with Homeland cases , so we can't risk just putting them with the general garbage ." Paige asked him .

Walter stopped messing with a computer he seemed to be having a problem with . " Could you go though them and double check them . Then maybe we could bag it up and get one of those firms that shred and then burn important and security papers . " Walter suggested .

Paige smiled at him . " Ok we can pick up some black bags and I will start going through the files tomorrow . No doubt on my own as I suppose Ralph will want to help you with the computers . "

" lets work to that plan and see how it goes . " Walter told her as he went back to the computer that had been giving him problems .

Paige smiled and shook her head . " I will go through the desks and pack anything in them that belong to the other three and take it back next week .

" You had better check our two desks as well , although I never kept a lot in mine . If you find anything , box it up and we can put it in the storage unit . It only took Paige about thirty minutes to check her and Walter's desk . and pack everything away into one box . She walked over to Sly's desk and was surprised to see a lot of his Super Fun Guy items were still there .

She looked across at Walter . " Did you know Sly had left so much of his Super Fun Guy items here . ? "

Yes , but up to a couple of days ago he would not speak to me . But like your things I did intend to courier it all over before I left . " Walter told her .

" Ok , I will pack it all up and take it with me when I go over next week . " Paige replied .

Before she could finish sorting out Sly's desk , her phone alarm sounded , it was time to collect Ralph from school . They left the van locked up in the garage then left to pick up Ralph .

Saturday morning , Walter , Paige and Ralph were at the garage by 10,00am. As the van was more than half full they decided they would take the items over to the their storage unit and offload the items . Once they got to the storage unit , they found out the site had some large hand trollies , available to rent for just $5 a day however a $100 deposit was required , as the person behind the reception desk explained , it was to stop people driving off with them . Walter paid the $5 and put the $100 deposit on his credit card , which if they return the trolly the charge will be reversed .

It took the three of them over two hours to off load and transport the computers from the van to the unit . Once they had finished it was close to lunch time , as they were not far from Kovelsky's , they all climbed back into the van and Walter drove over there .

Once they had finished lunch , they made their way back to the garage . By 5.00pm they had loaded the rest of the computers ,desks and other pieces of equipment , including Walter's tools on the van .

Paige had packed up all of Sly's things safely in boxes , which she would take with her the next time she visits C.P. to check on the bid . The few items Toby had left behind she would pack up the next day . Walter suggested she should ask Happy to come over and see if she wanted anything from her old area of the garage , but it would need to be soon as he wanted to hand the keys over to the bank as soon as possible .

Paige had smiled at him . " I am glad you suggested that as I did not really fancy sorting through all of that . "

Walter smiled . " Give her a ring now see if she wants to come over tomorrow afternoon , but to ring first to make sure we are back from the storage unit .

Paige immediately phoned Happy , Happy was pleased to come over to the garage , as she said she had more tools at the garage than she had at home . She arranged to be there at 4.00pm . Sunday , but would ring first to check they would be there .

Toby and Happy's apartment

" Who was on the phone ? " Toby asked Happy .

" Paige , she wants me to go over to the garage and see if I want any of the tools and bits and pieces , I left behind the night we walked out . Walt wants to lock everything up and hand the keys back to the bank . " Happy explained her voice full of sorrow . "

" Well that's a fine thing, how about the items I left behind , no mention of them I suppose ." Toby said .

" Not a word but I am certain , knowing Paige anything you and Sly left behind will already be neatly packed away in boxes . But she would not want to tackle that mess called my work area . . " Happy told him .

" Well she better had . " A snarky Toby answered .

" You are joking I hope . The night we all walked out on Walter we forfeited any rights to anything we left behind , so if the items you left behind have already been burnt . TOUGH ! " Happy told him in a very stern voice .

" Charming . " Was all Toby could manage as he settled back on the sofa and pulled his hat half over his face .

Sunday morning the three of them slept in , well Ralph slept in . Walter and Paige took the opportunity to have some fun . Paige still having to restrain her vocal chords . Around 9.00am Paige rolled out of bed and made her way to the bathroom to shower .

Looking over her shoulder at Walter she said . " How long before you have to hand the keys to the garage to the bank ? "

Walter looked a little confused . " Another week , but I was thinking of handing them in on Monday . " He explained .

Paige pouted a little . " But we have not any chance to use your shower since we got back together . "

Walter's face lit up as he quickly remembered what they had spoken about only a few days ago . "Well I suppose the bank can wait until Friday . "

" Good suggestion . " Paige said a big smile on her face as she entered the bathroom .

Walter lay back on the bed , a big smile on his face . " That woman will be the death of me . " He quietly said to himself .

By the time they had finished breakfast and cleared everything away , it was almost noon before they reached the garage . Walter and Ralph took the van to the storage unit , Paige decided to stay behind to pack Toby's items away , which would not take long . What she really wanted to do was to give Walter's shower a good clean as she was hoping to put it to good use over the next few days . A big smile appeared on her face as her mind went back to when they had shared this shower . When she had packed Walter's items she had left bath towels and some small towels plus some shower gel . By the time she had finished cleaning to her satisfaction , she heard the roller shutter door opening.

She quickly put her cleaning items away and made her way downstairs as fast as she could . As she stepped off the stairs , Walter was just shutting the roller shutter , she rushed over to him and as he turned she jumped at him , put her hands around his neck and in a low husky voice whisper said into his ear . " I have made sure the shower is nice and clean and there are plenty of towels in the bathroom . "

At first Walter just gave her a blank look , then suddenly his eyes went wide and his mouth dropped as he realized what she meant .

Walter and Ralph had stopped at a Subway store and bought sandwiches and coffee , plus a soda for Ralph . The three of them sat down at the kitchen table and enjoyed a late lunch together .

At 3.30pm. Paige's phone rang the I.D showed Happy . " Good afternoon Happy . -Yes we are here , ok see you in thirty minutes . " At that Paige disconnected the call .

" Happy should be here in about thirty minutes . " She told Walter .

He gave a small smile . " You may as well give her Sly's and Toby's things , it will save you the trouble on Tuesday . "

Paige smiled back at him . " Well I guess as it is all ready , I may as well . "

Happy arrived just under thirty minutes later . As soon as she came through the door she moved quickly to Walter and put her arms around in a hug , surprisingly Walter reached and put his arms around her to return the hug . After about thirty seconds she released Walter and made her way over to Paige and hugged her , as Paige returned the hug Happy told her . " Thank you for letting me collect my old tools , they are a little like children to me , I never should have left them in the first place . "

Paige smiled at her . " Walter had already intended to courier at least some of them to you before he closed the garage up for good . "

Happy released Paige , ruffled Ralph's hair and walked over to her old work area . The other three left her alone while she sorted out what she wanted to take , by the time Happy had finished , the work area was almost clear . Once she started to move the items out to her truck , Walter , Paige and Ralph walked over and began to help . With in twenty minutes everything had been loaded onto Happy's truck .

Paige explained that all of the items left by both Sly and Toby had been packed up and were ready to go . Happy was pleased to put them on the back of her truck .

Paige made coffee , which they all shared , except Ralph , before she left the garage with a big smile on her face .

Walter , Paige and Ralph went to Kovelsky's for something to eat , before making their way home .

Happy and Toby's apartment .

Happy arrived back at her apartment at 6.30pm and immediately began moving her tools into the garage, not in any particular order as she would sort them out the following day . Toby heard the noise in the garage and went to investigate .

" Hello my Asian flower , I thought you would have least said hello , before you began to offload. I suppose all the items I left behind are in a trash bag . "

Happy stopped what she was doing , put her hands on her hips and stared at Toby , any smile that had been there disappeared . " You still think that little of Walter that he would be so childish as to do that . Your mentality probably would have done such a thing . Your items are in those two boxes over there . " Happy explained as she pointed to two boxes behind her . "

Toby looked a little shame faced , as he removed his hat and then spun it in his hands , before putting it back on his head and in a somewhat sombre voice just asked . " Do you want some help ? "

Happy gave him a smile " Yes please , you can take your two boxes and the other five boxes and put them safe up the far end of the garage . Be careful with those five . " She said pointing to a space right at the back of the garage . " Make sure you are careful , they contain Sly's Super Fun Guy collection and a few other things .

When he thought Happy was not looking , he pulled a face at her .

" I saw that mister , you will suffer later .

Toby's anger started earlier in the season before the marriage came up , it was when Toby believed Walter had try to kill him when they had all the trouble at Richards new office building , the wedding just added it to it .

LouBe 96 Paige is full of surprises , but it is sound proofing at Paige's condo or at least ear plugs for Ralph . I don't think Toby will ever learn and neither will Happy , unless of course she does go to far one off these days LOL
