Chapter 11: As the Kospego Commands
At the scrapyard...
Fixit backs away along with Sideswipe by side. They were organizing the stasis pods until Sideswipe decided to stack them, however, they became unstable "Oh no, oh no, no" Fixit exclaimed as they rushed out of the way as the unstable pod stack landed on the ground.
Fixit wheels away from Sideswipe as he knocks some stasis pods in the process "Fixit! Watch where you're going" Sideswipe warned him as Fixit dodged the damaged stasis pod.
Fixit sighed in relief "Whoa, nearly flattened because of a simple bump" Fixit said as a stasis pod on top of the stack that was behind him began to fall off as Sideswipe gasped and rushed towards Fixit "Fixit! Watch out!" he yelled. Fixit turned around and saw the falling stasis pod "Oh no" he muttered as Sideswipe shielded Fixit and braced for the pod to land on him.
Hivemus Prime catches the pod before it could land on him as he places the pod down and next to them. The duo sighed in relief "Many spanks--clanks--thanks, sir" Fixit said as he grabs the end of the stasis pod along with Sideswipe grabbing the other "We'll finish stacking these stasis pods immediately"
"Fixit, didn't I ask you, Sideswipe, and Jake to work on this together?" Hivemus Prime stated "Well yes sir, but Sideswipe the stabilizer is sore and Jake is getting tired of holding the stasis pods on his back, so we just took a break" Fixit explained. Hivemus Prime glances at Jake, who was taking a nap and is listening to soothing music with headphones.
"How long has Jake been in his break?" Hivemus asked "Sideswipe said that our break should be five minutes" Fixit answered "And when did you start this five-minute break?" he added "8: 10 am" Fixit replied, "And what time is it now?" Hivemus retorted "9: 10 am" Fixit replied.
Hivemus Prime glances his attention at Sideswipe, who had his headphones on and was dancing and scatting. Hivemus Prime realizes that Sideswipe was taking advantage of Jake and Fixit "Fixit...Jake has been there for one hour and Sideswipe is taking advantage of you" Hivemus explained. Fixit scoffs as he doesn't believe that Sideswipe would do that "Hardly sir, Sideswipe offered to cover my elephant cage cleaning duties for the next five cycles, fair trade" Fixit explained.
"No Fixit, we don't have any elephants," Hivemus said as he walked toward Jake "Oh..." Fixit said as he suddenly realizes what cleaned wasn't an elephant cage "Then what have I been cleaning?!" Fixit exclaimed. After Hivemus approaches Jake, he places his servo on Jake's shoulder and shakes him "Jake" he called, but Jake didn't wake up then he removes Jake's headphones "Jake" he called again as Jake woke up "Huh? Oh hi, Hivemus, I was taking a five-minute break" Jake said "You've been like that for one hour and Sideswipe was taking advantage of you and Fixit" Hivemus explained as he glances at Sideswipe, who still has his headphones on.
"What? Nonsense, Sideswipe would never do that to me. I told him if the five minutes are up, he would wake me up, so we resume doing our chore" Jake explained as he saw Sideswipe dancing with his headphones on "Clearly, Sideswipe didn't get that, but don't worry I'll talk to him. Fixit, you and Jake take the day off, I'll talk to Sideswipe" Hivemus said.
"Okay, sir," Fixit said as he wheeled away as Jake follows him then Hivemus approaches Sideswipe "Sideswipe" Hivemus said as the young Autobot didn't pay attention to the young prime as he still has his headphones on. Then he yanks the headphones off of Sideswipe, causing feedback in his audio receptors "Audio overload" Sideswipe exclaimed as he turns to Hivemus. "You need to stop taking advantage of your classmates, you--" Hivemus paused his lecture as he wonders what song Sideswipe is listening to "What are you listening to anyway?" he said.
He puts Sideswipe's headphones on his head as he smiles and nods his helm "Oh, oh, I love this song!" he exclaimed he dances and scat then he stops as he notices that Sideswipe is watching this as he clears his throat. "The music on this planet is pretty great," Hivemus said as he takes Sideswipe's headphones off and gives them back to him "The melodies are complex and the lyrics frequently have multiple meanings" he explained "I like the unz, unz parts" Sideswipe added as he smiles.
"Yeah, well in any case, look we need to help our teammates okay, no get the better of them" Hivemus explained after he finished his lecture. Then ding is heard as Denny and Russell rushed towards them "Customer" Denny exclaimed as Hivemus and Sideswipe transformed into vehicle mode as Fixit suddenly appeared and posed as a statue.
As a light blue car appeared as three men came out: they wore red shirts, blue-gray pants, homemade sky blue skirts with matching scarfs that were supposed to be robes, and homemade helmets that resemble the antlers of an elk. After they got out, one man adjusted his helmet as the other two got their antlers stuck and got them out. The first man gestures for the two to stands tall as they did so and the man had his hand out in a dramatic pose "Give us what we desire" The first man said, his red shirt had short sleeves as the other two had long sleeves.
Then his helmet tilted then he adjusted it and got to his dramatic composure "Or the Kospego shall destroy you all!" he declared in a dramatic voice. "Kospego?" Russell replied as he never heard of it "Local legend, some kind of giant, cranky elk-like creature that walks on two legs and has the strength of a thousand humans, right?" Denny explained as he questions that last part "I too thought the Kospego was but a myth, 'til I saw it" he said as Denny and Russell just look at him in silence not sure how to react to what the man said. Then a cuckoo clock breaks the silence.
(Flashback)
In a dark night forest as the man narrates "The Kospego said--" as the view showed fire in the background of the forest as the mysterious figure showed assuming that is the Kospego "I need stuff and yous gonna get it for me" the Kospego said who spoke in a mobster accent "Or else I'm gonna break some junk in my junk I mean yous" Kospego explained as he grabs a nearby tree and break it in half and tossed half of the tree as the screen blacks out.
(Flashback ends)
"I share the story with others, they came to witness the Kospego, and now they too are believers," the man said "We must all follow the Kospego's commands or..." the man said as he and his friends made tree branch gesture then moved it as if they broke it as they imitate branch break sound. "Uh-huh, and will the Kospego be paying cash?" Denny asked "Oh no," The man said in a normal voice "Arnold will, uh that's me"
"Then what can we get for you and the Kospego, Arnie?" Denny asked as he nicknamed Arnold 'Arnie'. Arnold snapped his fingers as one of his friends handed him a scroll-like list. Arnold unrolls the list as it showed how long it is "We have already found many things but the Kospego still demands 15 pounds of soldering lead, 440 12-inch nails, 37 yards of steel cable, and one high voltage electrical generator, yeah" Arnold explained as he put his reading glasses on reading the list out loud for the things, he and his friends need. "Ok, just stay here and we'll see what we can find for you" Denny exclaimed.
"14 relay switches, Russell. Don't give them the generator, I'll explain later" Hivemus whispered as Russell nodded.
Denny was pulling and Russell was pushing the cart of the stuff that Arnold requested except for the generator "Well, here's most everything, give me a minute to fire up the crane and I'll bring the generator over" Denny explained as Russell approaches him and did what Hivemus told him "Dad, we sold the last generator yesterday, remember?" he lied "What? We have one in the back" Denny replied as he is confused with Russell's behavior "And no we sold it to Mr. Hivemus" Russell said then Denny realizes what Russell meant "Oh...sorry" Denny said as he turns to Arnold "Mmm, the only other high-capacity generator in the area is at the dam. Well, that's not for sale, the Kospego will not be pleased, he may very well kabob us on his antlers" Arnold exclaimed.
"Off we go," he said. Denny and Russell watched them leave the scrapyard with the stuff hauling by their car, after they were gone Denny and Russell turned around "Boy, somebody taking those poor saps for a ride pretending to be the Kospego" Denny said as he and Russell head further part of the scrapyard as Hivemus and Sideswipe arrived.
"So, why couldn't I sell my generator?" Denny asked as Hivemus and Sideswipe transformed into robot mode "Ah, because Denny, I suspect..." Hivemus paused as Strongarm appeared "I'm back, sir" she said and transforms into her robot mode. "But the mission was a complete failure, I didn't find anything at the crash site that we hadn't seen previously except this" Strongarm explained as she showed them another Decepticon hunter in her servo.
Then the Decepticon hunter began to activate as it did a blast cut headed towards Hivemus as he dodges and it hits one of Denny's refrigerators. The top part slid down, Denny exclaimed in horror as he rushed toward the damaged refrigerator and the Decepticon hunter turned back to normal as Strongarm is speechless. Rotorstorm II arrived in her helicopter mode as she lands and transforms into bot mode "I heard a noise what happened?" she asked.
Misfire comes to Denny's side in his Dino mode "Well, this thing won't be bothering us anymore" Misfire said as Denny glared at him "Not helping Misfire" Rotorstorm II said. Hivemus glances at Strongarm and was surprised at what happened "Wow! I bet that could take down a Decepticon" Sideswipe exclaimed "What is it?" Russell asked "It's a Decepticon hunter," Fixit said as Strongarm hands it over to him and turns to Hivemus "Hivemus, how did your conversation with Sideswipe go?" Fixit asked "It went fine" Hivemus answered "And Fixit a little more info?" he added, "Oh right, Sideswipe, how was your conversation with Hivemus Prime like?" Fixit added.
"On the Decepticon hunter" Hivemus replied specifically "What we have a Decepticon hunter? Where?" Fixit asked as he saw the Decepticon hunter "A Decepticon hunter" Fixit said as he hands it over to Sideswipe, despite the young Autobot already having one. But then Strongarm snatches away from him "Careful, it can be quite dangerous. Decepticon hunters were standard issue on all prison ships" Fixit explained.
"What's it do?" Russell asked "The Decepticon hunter connects its user's neurotransmissions, so whatever combat devices imagined, the Decepticon hunter generates within certain parameters" Fixit added. "That doesn't sound dangerous, it sounds awesome" Russell exclaimed.
Strongarm approaches the refrigerators and decided to give it a try "Protoblaster" she said as the Decepticon hunter takes form and strikes the refrigerator as the door cuts open and is on the ground.
Denny cringes when his other refrigerator got damaged. Strongarm noticed that the Decepticon hunter formed a sword instead of a proton blaster like she said "I said protoblaster" Strongarm said as the Decepticon hunter took the form of another weapon, but instead of a protoblaster, it form a spike attached to a chain as it crashes another refrigerator.
Denny just watches in horror "Uh, Strongarm, I think you should stop" Rotorstorm suggested as she noticed that Strongarm is destroying Denny's refrigerator collection as she knows how Denny cares about his collection. But Strongarm didn't pay attention to her classmate and kept demanding for the Decepticon hunter to form a proton blaster, but no luck "Protoblaster" Strongarm cried. Then the Decepticon hunter formed a weapon that carried some energy as it zapped at the other refrigerator crushing like a tin can as it made Denny more upset.
As Strongarm examines the Decepticon hunter figuring she did something wrong "I must be doing it wrong" she said as the Decepticon hunter turn back to normal. Sideswipe approaches her "That's cuz it's tied to your thought process, you have to be able to think to make it work" Sideswipe explained as he tapped his helm as a gesture as a point.
Strongarm just glares at him "You're lucky, I'm able to think about sunshine and rainbows, right now" she said as Sideswipe glares at her for that comeback, and Strongarm grits her dental as Hivemus breaks them apart so this fight won't become physical. "For anyone thinks something they'll regret" Hivemus added as Denny decides to go back to the subject "So why couldn't I offload the generator, Bee? I could have to used the space to display my vintage refrigerators" Denny asked as he glances at the damaged refrigerators that Strongarm caused "My poor, poor refrigerators" he said.
Hivemus approaches Denny "That list from the Kospego, those items may have seemed random, but they weren't. I suspect the Kospego is one of our Decepticons tricking humans into thinking it's your creature of legend, using them to help jury-rig, a space bridge" Hivemus explained. "A space bridge? So we can go home or any other planet at any time soon?" Strongarm exclaimed "That sounds cool! For my space bridge travel, I want to go to the Cybertron colony planet, Caminus. I've always dreamed of going there" Rotorstorm added.
"As for me, I want to go to Velocitron it is home to the racers that are not from Cybertron as it is famous for the Speedia 500" Sideswipe added "Speedia 500?" Strongarm said "That's another explanation for another time," Sideswipe said. "We could if we thought this space bridge would work, but it's far more likely that the slightest misalignment of the components will create a black hole-like phenomenon that could badly damage or even destroy Earth" Hivemus explained. Three slides showed Sideswipe, Rotorstorm II, and Strongarm gasped in shock when Hivemus explained if the space bridge went wrong that would cause a life-threatening disaster as Denny, Fixit, and Russell gasped too.
"Which would be bad" Misfire added "Geez, ya think?" Rotorstorm exclaimed as this disaster is obvious. Fixit looks up on the manifest about any Decepticons that have Elk-like appearances then he finds one "The Alchemor's prisoner manifest does list a Decepticon named Thunderhoof matching the general description" Fixit explained "We better make sure the generator at the dam stays where it is" Strongarm said.
"Was Thunderhoof, one of those Decepticon rogues that Breakdown ran into and kidnapped a sparkling named Trailfire?" Sideswipe stated "Yes, he is and he was a former crime boss in Cybertron until one of his operations got foiled by an informant that caused him to lose his status as a crime boss. Then he joined Steeljaw's Pack when Steeljaw staged a rebellion against the High Council back in the Golden Age before the war" Hivemus explained.
"Let's gather the rest of the recruits and head towards the dam and guard the generators by night," Hivemus said.
Hivemus, Misfire, and the recruits arrived at the dam at night time as they stopped when they saw the generators "Sideswipe, you, Misfire, and Pyrostorm stay here and guard the generator. Strongarm, Impactra, let's make a circular sweep of the area. Rotorstorm, Jake, you two take a search in the sky, if you find Thunderhoof, contact us" Hivemus explained as he, Strongarm, and Impactra left as Rotorstorm and Jake began to search Thunderhoof in the sky.
Sideswipe transforms into his robot mode as Misfire and Pyrostorm transform into their robot modes. Sideswipe sighs with dismay as he approaches the fences that had the generators and leaned against his back then he crossed his arms. Misfire and Pyrostorm come to his side as they both did a 'ready to fight pose. They waited...and waited...and waited as Sideswipe finally had enough as he decides to take a break "I'm gonna scout the perimeter" he said when he got up from lying down on the ground. "Hivemus told us to stay here" Misfire reminded as Sideswipe turns around.
"Yeah, but here includes right here and the perimeter around right here" Sideswipe explained as he left "Oh," Misfire said "I guess we can still take it from here and besides there's only one Decepticon, and two of us, I'm sure we beastformers can just take down one Elk-con" Pyrostorm added "Me too" Misfire agreed as they regain their pose.
At the further part of the dam...
When Sideswipe was alone, he decided to put on his headphones and listen to some music. When he was about to put them on, he heard a rustle in the bushes, he instinctively draw out his Decepticon hunter and activate his mask "Hello? Anyone there?" he asked then he heard a rustle from the tree branches as he turns around and saw the branches move as he slowly approaches the tree "Hello? Who are you? Are you friend or foe?" Sideswipe asked but he didn't get an answer.
He slowly puts his Decepticon hunter between the branches and open them "Ha!" he shouted until he saw no one there and deactivates his mask "Probably just some Earth critters" Sideswipe suggested as he failed to notice someone crept up behind him and pound him on the helm as he fell to the ground. His vision is blurry as he can only see the hooves of the bot that pound him as it smashed his headphones and he hears the sound of transforming and the engine running as he loses consciousness.
Later...
Sideswipe had been lying unconscious for a while. Hivemus, Strongarm, and Impactra saw him as they transformed into robot mode. Hivemus kneels and places his servo on Sideswipe's back and shakes him "Sideswipe...Sideswipe" Hivemus called as Sideswipe groans as he regains consciousness "Ow, my helm" he groaned "What happened?" he wondered "That's what I'm asking you, why are you here and not with Misfire and Pyrostorm?" Hivemus asked "Uh, funny story I--" Sideswipe was cut off when they heard the sound of Misfire on the speaker of Strongarm's commlink "Who's there what are you--" then they heard the sound of fighting and struggling "Misfire!" Pyrostorm shouted as they heard the sound of Pyrostorm groaning.
They arrived back where the generators are as they saw Misfire and Pyrostorm lying down on the ground. They transformed into robot mode and approached the Scavenger and Predacon hybrid "Let's do it bussman" Misfire muttered "Five more minutes, Dad" Pyrostorm muttered, "Those antler heads took out Misfire and Pyrostorm?" Strongarm stated "No it had to be the Decepticon, who might not have attempted an attack if there had been three guards on duty like ordered" Hivemus explained as he turned around and glared at Sideswipe for that last part.
Rotorstorm and Jake arrived as they transformed into robot mode "We came as Strongarm called" Rotorstorm said "What happened to them?" Jake asked "They both got knocked out by that Decepticon after Sideswipe left his post and got knocked out as well" Strongarm answered.
Hivemus and Strongarm pulled Misfire up as Rotorstorm and Jake pulled Pyrostorm up as they both groaned. "Misfire, are you alright?" Hivemus asked "Oh...of course, I am and so is Pyrostorm" Misfire answered as they began to lean as if they were gonna fall, but Hivemus and the recruits catch them as they pushed them back on their peds. Misfire shakes his helm to focus because he and Pyrostorm were dizzy after being knocked silly.
"Hey, are our arms and legs still attached?" he asked "Did you see what hit you two?" Strongarm added, "All I saw were horns coming at me." Misfire answered "I guess I take it back about the two of us taking down one Decepticon" Pyrostorm added, "You know that feeling when someone throws you through a mountain?" Misfire answered "No" Strongarm replied "Yes," Hivemus said "Well, it was like that, only painful-er" Misfire retorted.
Sideswipe became guilty for his excuse to leave his post and it got Misfire and Pyrostorm hurt "Misfire, Pyrostorm, head back to the scrapyard, have Fixit take a look at you" Hivemus said "Okie Dokie" Misfire said as he and Pyrostorm jumped and flapping their arms as they were trying to fly but no avail as Hivemus approaches them.
He puts his servos on their shoulders "Oh, yeah, you two can't in bot mode" he said as he turns to the recruits "Strongarm, Recruits help them back" Hivemus ordered as Strongarm became shocked "Me?" she said as she points at Sideswipe "After what Sideswipe--" she was gonna protest as Hivemus Prime interrupts her "Misfire and Pyrostorm can't make it back on their own and I obviously can't trust Sideswipe to take responsibility for anyone or anything" Hivemus explained.
"Oh, come on" Sideswipe complained as he crossed his arms and looks away from them as Strongarm passes him then he looks her and narrows his optics. Strongarm puts Misfire's arm around her shoulder and Impactra puts Misfire's other arm around her shoulder. Jake puts Pyrostorm's arm around his shoulder and Rotorstorm puts Pyrostorm's other arm around her shoulder as they guided the groggy Scavenger and Predacon hybrid "Call if need help" Strongarm said as she and Impactra continue to guide Misfire as Jake and Rotorstorm guided Pyrostorm as well.
"Since when we can't fly in bot mode?" Misfire asked as they were gone, it is just Sideswipe and Hivemus Prime as he looks at the young Autobot "We're down 6 team members against an enemy strong enough to knock Misfire and Pyrostorm silly" Hivemus said as he is not happy with Sideswipe's actions "I know I messed up okay, but that Decepticon jumped me when I was gonna listen to some music until I had to investigate some noise. All I saw were his hooves and the sound of transforming and an engine running" Sideswipe said as he explains the reason for his excuse.
"But that gives you no right to leave your post and leave Misfire and Pyrostorm there, you guys don't know how capable he is and that's why you should never underestimate your enemies" Hivemus explained "Look, I can't be wondering how to contain targets and you, recruits, Sideswipe" as Sideswipe passes him, "I said I know" Sideswipe replied as he transforms into vehicle mode and droves off. Hivemus Prime sighs "What am I going to do to him, Prowl?" Hivemus asked himself "I wish Dad was here, I use some advice on how to control my team members" then he transforms into vehicle mode and follows Sideswipe.
In the forest...
Hivemus and Sideswipe saw the space bridge when they arrived "Spacebridge" Hivemus said, "Think you can play it straight long enough to help me keep them from using it, Sideswipe?" Hivemus asked as Sideswipe sighed and glares at him.
The view focused on the humans getting the space bridge or 'altar' as they believed, ready. Arnold and his friends had connected the cable after they connected the cable he got his antlers stuck by another friend as they untangle their antlers.
The view focused on Hivemus as he tries to find a way to stop the humans from completing the space bridge without being seen "We can deal with the Decepticon later, but we can't just roll in and let those humans see us" Hivemus said "I have a plan" Sideswipe said as Hivemus gives him a serious expression "Just trust me, okay" Sideswipe said as he insisted the young prime to trust him.
Sideswipe guides Hivemus away to form the plan. The view focused on one of Arnold's friends, an African-American man who was holding two cables in different colors: a blue one and a red one "No" Arnold called as he approaches his friend "blue to blue, red to red" he reminded as Arnold turns to his other friends "If we don't build this altar precisely the way the Kospego ordered...well, you know what he'll do to us" Arnold exclaimed as his friends made tree breaking gesture and made tree breaking sound.
They heard the sound of dirt sliding as they turned their attention and saw Sideswipe and Hivemus, who covered themselves in trees to pretend to be forest creatures "There are other legendary creatures of great...legendary-ness that walk the forest. Such as me Sideswingo" Sideswipe explained in an ancient voice "And me, Bumbeego" Hivemus added in an ancient voice as well.
"We never heard of you," Arnold said "Just because you don't know us doesn't mean we're not legends" 'Sideswingo' shouted as Arnold is frightened by Sideswingo's rising voice "The Kospego has been a very naughty creature" 'Sideswingo' said "Criminal in fact" 'Bumbeego' added "He has acted against our wishes and shall be punished, so unless you want a piece of us? You'd better leave here...now" 'Sideswingo' explained as Arnold and his friends just stood there.
"Or this will happen" 'Bumbeego' said as 'Sideswingo' kicked a tree as it broke in half as a 'warning' if they didn't comply Arnold and his friends left immediately "Why do legendary creatures hate trees so much?!" he exclaimed.
When the humans were gone, Sideswipe and Hivemus Prime removed their disguises "Not bad, huh?" Sideswipe said with his normal voice "One 'not bad' doesn't make everything else good and we're not out of the woods yet" Hivemus replied in his normal voice as he takes a few steps to the space bridge as Sideswipe groaned and walks to Hivemus' side.
They both heard the sound of an engine running as they turned around as they saw trees being knocked over and a tractor is shown as it transformed into robot mode, who is Thunderhoof. "Eyo! What's going on here? Where'd all my little worker weirdos run off to? " Thunderhoof asked "You're under arrest," Hivemus said as he approaches Thunderhoof.
"Don't go barking rules and regulations at me, Autobot" Thunderhoof said pointing at Hivemus "I'm Thunderhoof, see I ran some of the biggest criminal enterprises on Cybertron, had your cops were on my payroll," Thunderhoof explained as he pointed Hivemus.
"That space bridge is dangerously unstable," Hivemus Prime said as he pointed the space bridge behind him as Thunderhoof walks around the duo as he is front of them "What's unstable was you if you think I ain't bridging back to Cybertron to take back my turf...tell you what?" Thunderhoof explained "Seeing as you fellow cybertronians and all, if you help me I'll cut in on the piece of the action" Thunderhoof offered "You are going back to Cybertron, Thunderhoof, in a stasis pod." Hivemus said as he holds Thunderhoof at gunpoint.
"Bee, maybe we should think about this?" Sideswipe suggested "It's not like we have a space bridge...maybe his will work and we don't want to stay on Earth forever...do we?" he said as Hivemus looks at him "Sideswipe...we don't make deals with criminals, you're coming with us" Hivemus explained and resumes holding the Elk-con at gunpoint.
"Hey-oh, where's the respect?" Thunderhoof asked "Usually, I let underlings do the dirty work" he explained as he backs up and lowered his helm "But that don't mean I don't remember how to do it myself" as Thunderhoof charged at Hivemus as the young prime shoots at him then he grips at the Decepticon as he is being pushed when Hivemus had his peds to stand their ground. Sideswipe watches them scuffle and turns to the space bridge.
Hivemus grabs Thunderhoof's arm flips him and tosses him as he turns to Sideswipe "Sideswipe, a hand?" Hivemus asked as he ran towards Thunderhoof as the Elk-con slammed his hoof at the ground as a thunderous trail headed towards Hivemus as it knock him off his peds and dropped his Decepticon hunter in the process as it rolls towards Sideswipe as he does a quick plan to save the young prime and also stop Thunderhoof.
Thunderhoof approaches Hivemus "You mess with the boss, you get the hoof!" Thunderhoof shouted as he is ready to stomp him "Thunderhoof wait!" Sideswipe shouted as the Elk-con stopped and turned his attention at the young Autobot "Huh?" he exclaimed "Hivemus' not worth it" Sideswipe said "What?" Hivemus exclaimed as Sideswipe approaches them.
"I'm sick of that bot telling me what to do and telling me everything I do is wrong. I want off this bot-forsaken planet" Sideswipe explained "What?" Hivemus said as he grew confused "Oh, finally someone with a little intelligence. Come on, kid, let's do the Autobot stomp" Thunderhoof said as he is ready to stomp on Hivemus, but Sideswipe stops him "Seriously, don't waste your time, he can't stop you, just leave Bee here to rot on this mudball with no way home" Sideswipe explained as Hivemus just remains silent and is still confused.
"What serves him right," Thunderhoof said as he looks at Sideswipe "Okay, let's go," he said as he approaches the space bridge controls "Wait Thunderhoof," Sideswipe said as he follows him "We should check the connection in this space bridge before--" Sideswipe suggested as Thunderhoof interrupts him "Hey, you're a smart kid, but don't tell me my business I got an empire to get home to," he said "But--" Sideswipe protested as Thunderhoof pats his cheek.
Thunderhoof pushes the button on the screen as the generator that he stole from the dam activated the spacebridge as the portal appeared. Then suddenly the portal changes into a black hole as Sideswipe became terrified "I best do my share of spacebridges, but I never seen one do that" Thunderhoof said. "Black hole!!!" Hivemus and Sideswipe shouted.
Hivemus saw the steel square tubes as he goes behind them to prevent himself from being pulled by the gravity of the black hole "Something ain't right here" Thunderhoof said as he goes towards the controls "Ya think?" Sideswipe retorted as the situation was obvious. He was about to use Hivemus' Decepticon hunter until Thunderhoof grabs him "Why don't you test it out for me, kid?" he suggested as he turns Sideswipe to face the spacebridge "Wait!" Sideswipe shouted.
Hivemus watches Thunderhoof pushing Sideswipe towards the black hole as Sideswipe holds his ground as his peds were just dragged "You thought you could scare me by pretending to switch sides, Autobot? How did that work out for you?" Thunderhoof asked as he knows Sideswipe is tricking him. Sideswipe turns around as he faces Thunderhoof "Actually not bad" Sideswipe replied as he pulls out Hivemus' Decepticon hunter.
"Protoblaster" Sideswipe said as the Decepticon hunter formed spikes attached to a chain "Close enough" Sideswipe said as he is out of Thunderhoof's grip and hits him with the weaponized Decepticon hunter. He hits him again as the gravity of the black hole began to pull Thunderhoof as the Elk-con grabbed the panels to prevent himself from being pulled further as he pulls himself then glares at Sideswipe.
Then the Decepticon hunter turned back to normal "Scrap" Sideswipe muttered as he attaches the Decepticon hunter on his back and runs towards the controls as he clings on for dear life. Sideswipe watches Thunderhoof pulling himself away from the black hole "I said you were going first kid and I mean what I says" Thunderhoof said as he reaches out to grab the young Autobot.
Hivemus removes the band that is holding the steel square tubes as they hit Thunderhoof making him loose his grip as he is sucked to the black hole "Eyyyyooo!!!" Thunderhoof cried. Hivemus transforms into his vehicle mode and droves in reverse to not get sucked in then he saw the generator that was not being pulled. He drove towards it and is safe.
Sideswipe pulls himself and is behind the controls as he clings it for dear life. He saw Hivemus blinking his headlights to signal him to come over, Sideswipe transforms into his vehicle mode as he drives towards Hivemus and is safe as well. "We need to close that hole before it grows any bigger" Hivemus said "How?" Sideswipe asked "A detonation inside the hole" Hivemus answered "Releasing more energy that the rift itself is generating" he explained as they both pushed the generator with all their might.
Once the generator was being pulled, Hivemus and Sideswipe drove away as the generator enters inside the hole then the controls were also pulled in as the force stopped. Then the parts of the spacebridge were sucked in as the explosion came. After the explosion the spacebridge is gone and there is just small blue flame.
Sideswipe and Hivemus transformed into their robot modes "Soooo, that happened" Sideswipe spoke "You had me worried there for a minute, Sideswipe." Hivemus said "Dude, I'm on the team" he protested as he smiles then his smile changes "But I can kind of see how it doesn't always seem like it" Hivemus gives Sideswipe a forgiving smile and had his fist out then Sideswipe fist bumps him as they turned their attention where the spacebridge was once there.
"Spacebridge wasn't stable, but when Thunderhoof disappeared it sure looked like a teleportation" Hivemus explained "So where did he go?" Sideswipe wondered.
At the further part of the forest...
A portal appeared as Thunderhoof fell to the ground as the portal closes. "Cybertron?" he wondered as he stands up and then realizes he is still on Earth as he is disappointed "Ah, I'm still stuck on this backwater planet" Thunderhoof said as he rubs his optics with his digits.
"Fine, I'll just set up a new empire here" he suggested "Heh, I get those crackpot locals to help. They bought it once, they'll buy it again" he said to himself as a swipe of claws appeared and destroyed Thunderhoof's tracking mechanism "Eyo!" he cried as he turned his attention to the source.
"Sorry about the pain" Steeljaw said as he is in the shadows "It's temporary and you'll soon come to understand...necessary" he explained "Remember, you want to remain free, you stay with me" Steeljaw said as he steps into the light "Fine whatever, but can you do a little warning next time? Because I almost thought it was an Autobot trick and I've had enough of tricks lately" Thunderhoof explained.
Steeljaw chuckles as he puts his servo on Thunderhoof's shoulder as they left.
The next morning...
Arnold and his friends now worship 'Sideswingo' and 'Bumbeego' they wear the same clothes but the antlered helmets were replaced with tree branches instead "Sideswingo, Bumbeego, we look for you for guidance" Arnold said as one of his friends accidently mess his robe "And for the last time, Mortan. Watch it with the sacred girdle!" he ranted as they resume doing their 'sacred' walk.
At the scrapyard...
Sideswipe apologizes to Misfire and Pyrostorm for leaving his post and got them hurt after the two had recovered, they forgave Sideswipe. Then Sideswipe apologizes to Jake for not telling him that their break is over like Pyrostorm and Misfire, Jake forgives him.
Sideswipe, Fixit, and Jake were taking a break from stacking the stasis pods. When the five minutes were up, Sideswipe saw that Jake is still taking a nap with his headphones on.
Sideswipe removes Jake's headphones "Jake, break is over. Time to finish stacking the pods" he said as Jake stands up as the trio start to finish doing their chore.
