Hey and welcome back. pls read and review. I could not sleep so I wrote this.
After lunch Leah and I walked together to our next class which was biology. I kept feeling this urge to hug and cuddle her, but I ignored it because school is not the best place to do it. She grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers together and I did not pull away. It felt so right, and I blushed. I looked at Leah to see her staring right at me. We managed to get to class before the bell rung and luckily to teacher was out for the day and I took seat right next to Leah.
The Sub pulled out an old clunky tv and put in an old VHS tape in it. "What is this all about." I whisper to Leah. "We were going to watch a movie about the difference in organisms and Mr. Molina got sick." She answers and then all of a sudden, the lights turn off and I feel a magnetic energy between us that seems to be calling me to be closer to her. I tried to resist the urge to move closer by clenching my hands tight together, but I made the mistake a looking over at her.
She was in a similar positing as I was, but she was looking at me with dark hungry eyes. I quickly looked away before doing something irrational. I could still tell that she was staring at me, by looking out of the corner of my eye.
We sat there for what felt like an eternity, until the sub flicked the lights back on. When he did this, all of the magnetic energy stopped between us. Leah quickly got all her stuff together and bolted out of the classroom, leaving me behind. Hurt began to seep into my chest, and I don't know why. I didn't really know her. so why do I feel so hurt by seeing her run off like that. I packed up my stuff and headed towards gym.
I got there with no issues, and I was kind of proud of myself but nothing I could do would get rid of the ache in my chest. "Ah, you must be Ms. Swan." An older looking guy said. "Yes, I am. Are you my gym teacher?" I ask and he nods. "My name is Mr. Axe; everyone calls me Andy though." He says as he extends his hand towards me. I shake his hand and he grins at me. "I am usually very lenient about gym so today we are having a free block. So, feel free to talk to people, go on your phone, or just walk around the gym." He says and I thank him.
I go to the corner of the gym that was not swarming with kids and pull out my phone. I quickly dial my dad's phone number and he picks up on the first ring. "Are you okay? Are you in any danger? I am just a few miles away. I can come and get you right now." he says quickly before I can get a word in. " Dad, I am completely fine ... Ish. you don't have to come and get me." I say and hear a sigh of relief before he asks.
"What do you mean that you are fine-is. Are you being teased? do you want me to come down there and deal with this myself. Because I will 100% do it." "No, dad I am okay. Something weird happened today with this girl I met, and I don't think that this talk would be good for school." I say and he lets out a sigh of inpatients. "Fine, but you have to tell me when you get home. there is no way around it." he says, and I laugh." Bye Dad." I say and hang up.
I sat alone and read for the rest of the gym time. When the finale bell rang, I walked towards my car. I began to drive home and at the corner of my eyes I saw this small gray sport running in the woods following my car. I couldn't tell that it was getting closer and closer. Finally, I looked to my left to see a small grey wolf running beside my truck.
It tuned its gaze to me and winked. It then hoped into the back of the pickup truck, and I quickly stopped on the side of the road. I looked back through the back window and saw the wolf staring at me. The wolf yips when I look at it and wags its tail as if it is excited to see me. I then decided to get out of the car slowly. The Wolf lays down in the truck and watches me as I slowly get out of the truck. I made the mistake of leaving my door open so the wolf hops into the car and goes right to the passenger seat. "Well shit" I say in my head.
