It was the day of the plan Sam was both exited and scared, what would Penny say? He hid where Ellie told him to staying out of view but also so he couldn't see them either.

Ellie sat on the bench while Penny changed into her work uniform.

" As valentine's day coming up , what do you look for in a guy"? Ellie asked.

Penny thought for a second.

"Well he'll have to be taller than me but if he has a great personality I'm happy with someone shorter" She explained " He'll also have to be smart, kind, brave, have a good sense of humour".

Sam lit up ( I Have those qualities)

" So theoretically if the boys ever asked you on a date, who would you say yes to"? Ellie asked.

" Hmm, good question, what about you"? Penny asked.

"To be honest with you, I've always like Elvis, he may not be the smartest cookie but he's everything else" Ellie lied perfectly.

" Good taste Elvis is very attractive , but he's too much like a brother".

" What about the other single bachelors in the area "?

" Tough choice, they all have great qualities, do I have to be honest"? Penny asked.

" I was honest with you" Ellie remarked, she felt bad for lying but curiousity got the better of her.

Sam waited in suspense this could be the greatest day of his life, or the worst.

" Fair enough, I'd have to say Arnold".

This response Crushed Sam. (No it can't be)

" Oh, why Arnold and not the others"? Ellie asked. She hated herself for putting Sam through this.

Penny blushed.

" There's just something about him, I can't get over it" Penny explained "Every time I see him all I want to do is kiss him"

Ellie briefly glanced where Sam was, she felt terrible" So you really liked Arnold, I can see why, he is smart, kind, brave, has a good sense of humour. He also chivalrous" Ellie remarked " And on top of that he's taller than you"

"Yes, I do and he is and that smile , Anyway back to work" Penny stated " See ya" She soon left.

Sam got up he ignored Ellie and left, he entered the male locker room, Elvis noticed his face.

" What's wrong"? He asked.

" Huh? Oh nothing" Sam replied.

"Oh yes, because walking into rooms sadly is a hobby of yours" Elvis said Sarcastically. "Is this about Penny"?

"How does everyone know"?! Sam demanded.

"You're easy to read, to everyone exept Penny for some reason" Elvis replied.

Sam sat down and sighed. " As it turns out she's in love with someone else"

"Who"? Elvis enquired. " Is it me"?

"No" Sam replied

"Is it Steele"?! Elvis gasped " Drama!"

"No, Ellie had a girl chat with Penny, and it would seem that Penny likes Arnold" Sam explained. " She's besotted with him"

Elvis sat down next to Sam, he put his hand on Sam's shoulder.

"Aw man,that sucks"

" it really does" Sam responded.

" You aren't going to hate Arnold, are you"? Elvis asked.

" No, Arnold's a great guy" Sam replied.

"Why am I a great guy"? Arnold asked appearing out of nowhere.

This made Sam and Elvis jump.

" Why are you sneaking about"!? Sam asked Started

" I'm not sneaking about, I'm just naturally very quiet, so as I was asking"

Sam asked Elvis to explain, Arnold was both surprised and shocked when he found out.

" So, Penny's in love with me"? He asked.

Sam just nodded in response

The boys just sat in silence, they had no idea what to do. Because they couldn't stay in the changing room all day they went back to work.

The rest of the shift was awkward the three boys either avoid either other completely or stood around.
