Circumstance: Afterschool- True's Suicidal Attempt

Action: True stands in the middle of a busy intersection hoping to be killed. True is pulled from the street by her friend, Rhonda "Ronnie" Jaybird. Ronnie finds it hard to breakthrough into True. The two teenage girls remain silent until they reach Clothes Over Bros.

Place: Clothes Over Bros

Brooke (embracing Ronnie and True): Hello, girls

Ronnie: Hello, Ms. Brooke

True (moody, she walks pass Brooke to go to her work station in which is a cash register): Off to work, here I go

Brooke (to Ronnie): Rhonda..

Ronnie: Please call me Ronnie

Brooke: Ronnie, I thank you for walking True to the store. How was school?

Ronnie: I had a great time at school. I don't know if I can say the same for True.

Brooke (worried): Was True bullied again?

Ronnie: Yes

Brooke: I am glad you are her friend

Ronnie (whispering): I think True is depressed and suicidal. She has scars on her arms.

Brooke (in denial): She appears fine to me

Ronnie: ON the way to the store, True stood in the middle of a busy intersection. She wanted to get hit by a car. I saved her life.

Brooke (embracing Ronnie): Thanks

Ronnie (checking her watch): I have to go home

Brooke (fare welling Ronnie): Goodbye, Rhonda

Ronnie (waving Brooke goodbye): I will see and talk to you and True later

(Brooke doesn't know how to handle True's depression so she occupies her mind with work. Brooke assumes True's weird behavior is a phrase until True tries to drown herself in the bathtub at home later on that evening. The hospital puts True on twenty four hour suicidal watch. Ronnie and Brooke never once leave her side.)
